Do you think mental health can lead to heart attacks? Yes and no. Is there any direct connection? I would say to you that if you're stressed and continually depressed and doing two things, one is it increases your stress hormones. We know that. The second thing is it may also worsen your habits. You may get in a drinking, you may binge eat, you may do other things. The answer is indirectly, yes. Have they shown that people with mental health have worse heart disease? I've not seen that study. It may exist, but I've not seen it. But you can think about it mechanistically that it could be the case.
