Welcome to the fantasy footballers podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.

[00:00:20]

Welcome here. Wednesday episode of the show, Mike Wright, Jason Mor, Andy Hollow.

[00:00:41]

Good morning.

[00:00:43]

Good afternoon.

[00:00:46]

Just covering our basis.

[00:00:47]

Goodbye, Rahim Moser. Yeah. He burned too bright last year.

[00:00:55]

Maybe. Look, Rahim Moser is not somebody unfamiliar with missing practice and being banged up, and we'll see what happens. We got news to talk about. I have news at the top to talk about because out of over 20,000 people.

[00:01:15]

Oh, my gosh. This is insane.

[00:01:17]

I mean, 20,000 people are in the Megalobow right now. And if you don't know what that is, that is the largest fantasy football league in the world. It is comprised of Footclan supporters, and week one is in the books. And if you go to megalobow. Com, you can see the standings. We update them every week. The winner gets a spot in our listener league, and also, really, the pride of beating over 20,000 people at something. And currently, After one week, uncomprehensible, the Falcon is number one.

[00:01:50]

The Falcon Dump is number one right now.

[00:01:54]

Which is his team name, the Falcon Dump. He ends up with a hundred and nine-eight points in week one, number one in the league. Do you have any comments for the Footclan, Falcon? Get bodied, Footclan.

[00:02:03]

Yeah. Get bodied.

[00:02:07]

And that is, I approve that message.

[00:02:09]

Yeah. I mean, you must sit in and listen to every one of these shows or something.

[00:02:14]

Not everyone. That's true. Impressive. So the Megalobole standings, we often shout out who's in the lead. And unfortunately, we have to shout out the Falcon himself.

[00:02:25]

What a world.

[00:02:27]

Congratulations. That's pretty impressive. We've got hungry for more on the show today. A pretty fun, quick question that Mike came up with for us. And yeah, I think that's it. The Foot clan, you can become a member. Join thefoot. Com. The response yesterday to the ultimate dashboard and the fact that you get custom waivers, overwhelming. And so we're doing some work today to patch up a few bugs that you guys have pointed out with, I think, specifically, Yahoo Leagues syncing with Yahoo. It works most of the time. If you have an issue with that, just delete your team at it again. It should work. But we're working on the ultimate dashboard. It gives you the ability to see an optimized lineup based on our projections. It gives you spot starts based on your actual waiver wire. It gives you waiver wire rankings based on your actual league, and it gives you a custom news feed for your team. And we're adding more stuff in the future. You can check all that out at jointhefoot. Com. Mike, why don't you read the quick question?

[00:03:38]

Bro, I am so locked up. I didn't hear a single word that you just said.

[00:03:41]

We weren't listening to anything you said. Wavers have run. Wait, what happened? Waivers are running. In the league we're playing with Rich Eisen, Andy's over here dropping massive amounts of money.

[00:03:51]

Did I get Isiah likely?

[00:03:52]

You got him.

[00:03:53]

I raised my bid over there three times. Was that a mistake?

[00:03:57]

Let's see. The second highest was 15, and yours was 81. Yeah, it was a mistake. The Falcon is dying over there. You raised it three times.

[00:04:13]

That's a dump.

[00:04:14]

Oh, man. Dump now, not later.

[00:04:17]

I don't have a tight end in that league. I feel like my team is stacked in that league. Oh, man. It was a situation where, again, these are contextual. Isiah likely went for 35 What league is that, Kyle?

[00:04:31]

That's our main league of record.

[00:04:33]

Okay.

[00:04:37]

That's not bad.

[00:04:38]

Interesting. Why did I not...

[00:04:40]

? Okay.

[00:04:41]

Demarcus Robinson. I don't understand why I didn't get him in that league.

[00:04:45]

You were probably out of FAB. Okay.

[00:04:48]

Yeah, I made the shot. I love my team in our Rich Eisen League, and I needed a tight end, and I guess I got him. All right. We have a quick question, Mike. You were going to read it before you distracted us with waiver.

[00:05:01]

Okay, hold on. I got to lock back into the show here, boys, because- Waver morning is a thing, and then week one, waiver morning, even more of a thing. Waver morning, when your most important league, your roster from top to bottom is in shambles. I had to know what happened. But anyways, back to the show, back to all you all.

[00:05:25]

Back to the millions of you.

[00:05:28]

So we just It's week one. We're heading to week two. We've rounded up week one, and victory laps. Oh, no. What are you remembering?

[00:05:38]

I'm overspending everywhere. Go on. Go on.

[00:05:42]

Victory laps. It's a part of fantasy football. Ball, and it's always take it easy on your victory laps. But I wanted to bring forth a take from the offseason where after week one, you think this is going pretty good. I like the direction this is on, or a take that you had in the offseason, there you go, Oh, man, week one made that take look really, really bad, and it's made it feel so bad that you're like, I think I have to immediately change my opinion on that, which we try to tell people we're working as hard as possible to get a majority of things right, but weird things happen in football all the time.

[00:06:26]

There's always going to be right and wrong every year.

[00:06:29]

So stay water. Yeah, stay water and with new information, be willing to change your opinion. Sometimes week one information comes in and it doesn't drastically change what you thought about in the offseason. You say, No, I'm still going to hold on to that opinion, and I'm going to get more information. But a couple of things happened in week one where you go, Yeah, that was wrong, which we'll start there.

[00:06:52]

We'll start with things that we're feeling shaky about.

[00:06:55]

Yeah, my preseason take where I'm already just like, Okay, We'll burn that thing to the ground. Joe Mixon looked unbelievably good. My argument against Joe Mixon has always been his inefficiency, which I've watched Joe Mixon for years be that guy. It hasn't mattered for fantasy football because he's gotten the ball so, so much for the Cincinnati bangles who are frequently a high-powered offense. Joe Mixon is getting check downs all the time. I was concerned, Will those come through? He He had three targets, so that part is TBD, but he got 30 carries. 30 carries, tying a career high, and he looked awesome. That's where I'm taking the L is, I don't remember ever watching Joe Mixon in his career. I mean, he's old. He's been in the league forever. I think that was the best I can remember Joe Mixon looking in a very, very long time.

[00:07:55]

When you look that good and you have that utilization where he was that involved for a good offense, you know fantasy is going to work. I mean, that's already... You take an L or you take a W, depending on what you thought of Mixon, because it's a win this year.

[00:08:11]

Joe Mixon, can you finish R I don't think he can finish Rb1.

[00:08:17]

He had three targets, I believe, in the game.

[00:08:19]

We still would need that to go up, but top 10 with this utilization on this offense, that's easy.

[00:08:25]

Yeah, that seems a lock.

[00:08:26]

Top five? Quite possible. Obviously, If it keeps up.

[00:08:31]

I'm feeling shaky about Kieran's workload situation and whether he gets... If he is a part of a committee or not. Week one, 21 opportunities, 90% of the carries, 100% of the target It ran the most routes among all runningbacks.

[00:08:48]

That's huge. Caught the punts.

[00:08:50]

Caught the punts. Kyren in week one. I'm holding judgment a little bit because Sean McVay came out after the game and said, That's not what we wanted to do. I also thought during the game that if you're down on the road in week one in a playoff atmosphere, you're not putting in a rookie in Blake Coram, and you're probably not taking Kieran off the field. We'll have to see. I mean, is this team going to have a good enough defense where they're not in this position more often than not, where they can't afford? It's about whether you can afford to rotate Kyren, not whether you want to. So far through week one, the idea him not being a workhorse was disproven.

[00:09:32]

Yeah, I definitely, as the one that has been a staunch believer that he will retain his workhorse status, this will be the highest utilization of the season. This was outrageous. He's going to be pulled back a little bit, but he will still be a workhorse. For me, my loss, and I'm willing to do it right off the bat, like rip the bandaid off, and I am a convert immediately from what I saw week 1. Wow. Okay. I am and have always been an anti-rooky tight-end player. That's what your tattoos say. That has worked for me in literally every situation in the history of my fantasy football, except for once, and it was last year's Sam Laporta. Well, it's about to be twice because Brock Bowers, one, he's awesome. We do that. All my anti-rooky tight-end for fantasy things, that has nothing to do with the talent of the player. That It has to do with the situation, what rookie tight ends come into. Also, he was coming into a place where they had a second round tight in from last year, and they've got Devante Adams at a bad offense, and I don't know if I could trust this offensive scheme.

[00:10:43]

And then what happened? He had eight targets, was used in the juicy parts of the field, a 25% target share. I mean, he was who we're all hoping he develops into, but he was that way in week one. So I'm in. I mentioned this on the waiver show yesterday. If Brock Bowers was on the waivers, that's a guy I would have dropped the EadyFab for because I think he's got game-breaking ability. I just did not think he would have the utilization. And if he has it in week one, he should have it this season.

[00:11:15]

He was my guy finalist, if you remember, for this show. I do. Nice week one. How about maybe it's not a full victory lap, but what do you feel like you've gotten right so far after one week?

[00:11:30]

I'll hop in because Kyren is a part of this. On the Bust episode, I talked about Marvin Harrison, but in truth-I don't even know who that guy is.

[00:11:40]

It wasn't- Neither does Tyler.

[00:11:42]

That argument actually developed a little bit more from Marv. I felt like the wide receivers at the beginning of the second round were bad pics. But compared to the runningbacks, the Marvin Harrison, the Drake London, the Devante Adams, the Chris Olavez, the that were there versus the Gibbs, the Kyren, the Saquan, the runningbacks that were there. It just felt like you had giant question marks or you had really good opportunities.

[00:12:11]

I mean, you can even throw Gare Wilson into that mix after week one.

[00:12:13]

I feel good that we talked about that strategy, and I think a lot of the Footclan ended up with Saquon, and Kyren, and Gibbs, and those guys.

[00:12:25]

All right, Mike, how are you feeling?

[00:12:28]

So over the offseason, I was talking about this deeper dive that I had done on runningbacks who are not drafted in the top 24 and trying to find the edge of which teams, because there's over eight teams on average. There's not a top 24 runningback drafted from that team. Yet we get a handful of guys from those teams to finish. What is the edge that we can identify to try to get those guys? And it was the bangles, the chargers, and the cowboys. I I think the Cowboys one is still TBD. Zeke is currently the leader. I can't argue with that, but it was a pretty close timeshare. The Chargers one was a timeshare, absolutely. But Dobbins looked like the guy. He had three targets, and I know I just said that's not enough for mixing, but this is a different caliber of a player. And he was the one who actually had juice. He got stopped at the line a lot, but then he had the two humongous runs where Gus Edwards did really nothing nothing with his utilization. And yes, Gus is lining up against really heavy boxes, but they couldn't get anything done with Gus Edwards, and J.

[00:13:39]

K. Dobbins was the one who got it done. And then Zack Moss of the bangles, is it Zack Moss? Is it Chase Brown? At least after week one, it is Zack Moss. This wasn't the utilization you hoped for. It was only 13 opportunities, but two carries inside the 10. He had 65% in the snaps. He saw Almost 30 % of the entire workload for the bangles. I mean, that's team carries plus targets, 29 %. Those are outrageously good numbers. The team did not run a lot. They fully abandoned the run, and I think that they will balance that out a little bit more. Right now, it looks like Zack Moss is the big winner over Chase Brown.

[00:14:22]

Yeah, when you identified those three teams as the running back time shares to target late, you didn't even say it is Zack Moss or it is Brown. It was just take a shot on one of those guys, and all three of those teams had the rushing shutdown this week. When you get back at the end of the year and you go, Oh, this guy snuck into the top 24, it's because they had enough touch downs.

[00:14:44]

I Had a couple of quick bullet point things from week one. Obviously, Cooper Cupp was fancy MVP. He looked great before Puka left. He looked better after, and he's going to be a top-tier guy. Tony Pollard winning the week one. It was a time share situation. I felt like that was the Swift-Gainewell was the offseason comparison I used. Whether that holds up or not, the team did come out and say they were hot-handing it. But Pollard looked a lot better. And then Cincinnati being bad. They were dead last in my prediction for the division, which did not go over well with Cincinnati fans. But in week one, they looked pretty bad.

[00:15:25]

That was the worst loss of the week, right? Like the bangles losing.

[00:15:28]

That was a survivor pool destroyer.

[00:15:30]

The bangles losing to the team that had by far the highest odds to be the worst team in the NFL. And you're a team that-In Cincinnati. Yeah, at home. And you're a team that has Super Bowl aspirations. That's a devastating loss. They can bounce back. But Joe Burrow in these week ones is just... He's just killing us. Absolutely killing us.

[00:15:52]

Yeah, he's a slow starter, it seems. All right, let's jump in.

[00:16:00]

Welcome to Hungary For More, presented by Uber Eats.

[00:16:10]

I know it's a cliché, but the any given Sunday thing is just always so true in the NFL, and I do chuckle at the idea that I think the number is 45% of people tried to just get their survivor pools off the ground with an easy obvious win, and goodbye. All right, hungry for more? If you're not familiar with this segment, it is a Rising Stars type of segment. We're looking at players that we've seen some flashes of in week one, had some nibbles. Now we want a little bit more. For me, Jamieson Williams, wide receiver- Absolutely.of the Detroit Lions. It has been a fun discussion on the show. I would love to rub Kyle's nose in Jamieson Williams' production all year long.

[00:16:57]

You did.

[00:17:00]

One week. Yeah, one week. But I am- He's hungry for more, Mike. Make no mistake, I have sent some trade offers out with Jamieson Williams, leaving my roster, knowing that taking advantage of anybody that wants to believe that you've got a tier one type of guy. I'm not talking about giving them away. I was going hard in the pain after big guys. But I want to see more of what the utilization was for Jamison Williams, in particular, went back through, watched all the targets again this morning, was five for one, 21 and one. If they use him, if Ben Johnson uses him the way they used him in week one, Jamison is a thing this year. Done. Over.

[00:17:40]

For sure.

[00:17:41]

To me, this was... Remember how we looked at Thursday Night Football and we're like, Rashi Rice, they just run the same play, and it's unstable. They can do that with Jamo. If they run him on crossers, if they run him on the... Get him into space and let him run. I mean, the plays were... He's too fast. He's too fast.

[00:18:00]

He is lightning. And if you really think back about the career, the problem has been that he's been on the field and hasn't shown it. But really, his rookie season, he was coming off the ACL, so he missed the majority of it. Then he was suspended going into last year, and this was an offense that was so darn good. They did not need him. They did not need to stop midseason when they get him back and go, Okay, how are we going to get him involved? Then they let wide receivers go in the offseason, and they It certainly seem like they designed plays for Jamo. Man, I think it's going to happen.

[00:18:35]

I think he's going to be- I'm pretty excited about it.

[00:18:37]

I think it's going to be good.

[00:18:38]

I tend to agree. I'm more on the side of excitement. Something that we haven't talked about, though. We're in the hunger for more. Sorry, I'm sidetracking. What's the follow-up for the Lions? If he's this utilized- This is a high T team that last year, it was very focused. It was Amun Ra, it was Sam Laporte, Porta, and it was Jamir Gibbs. What now happens to these fantasy players if Jamison Williams is all of a sudden an eight-target guy?

[00:19:10]

I wanted to take a quick look here. Josh Reynolds's last season, just 40 for 608. So that is not a bar that is very high in terms of- Yeah, Jamison's on his way to that. Yeah, exactly. So he should surpass that if he's utilized like this, which will have an impact on Laporta and Amun Ra.

[00:19:27]

Yeah, you saw it in week one, right? You can't throw to two players at once, and Amun Ra had his first down game in forever, and Laporta wasn't anything great either. So I think if Jamison Williams has a true breakout, it will siphon a few targets away. But it could be good for the run game to When you're opening up the passing, lightening up the boxes, getting down the field for more shutdown opportunities.

[00:19:51]

I heard lightening the boxes.

[00:19:53]

Yeah, that's what I said.

[00:19:55]

Well, lightening doesn't make sense.

[00:19:57]

Thank you. That's thunder.

[00:19:59]

Yeah, Have you ever been hit by a lightening, Mike?

[00:20:01]

No.

[00:20:03]

You'll hear something.

[00:20:04]

You'll make a sound.

[00:20:05]

You'll hear something. All right, Jason, I did not see this name in here yet. It brings me great joy.

[00:20:11]

I am hungry for more Keon Coleman. He had such a great, quiet week. The Bills didn't throw the ball much. Josh Allen completed five passes in the first half. Five passes. Josh Allen. They want to run the ball more. We We saw this with braided. But we also know at the end of the year, you're going to have Josh Allen at 4,000 passing yards. He's going to end up there. He always does. He's usually 4,500 passing yards. And if you look at the metrics behind the scenes on Keion Coleman, he did everything you wanted. Who had the most snaps with wide receivers? He did. Who had the most targets at wide receivers? He did. The most yards? He did. He led this team.

[00:20:54]

Who's the most talented wide receiver they have by far?

[00:20:56]

By far, Keion Coleman is. And so the fact that week one, there were so many questions about... I remember early in the offices, it was like, Is he having trouble learning the playbook? He's only going to be in one spot. They used him all over the place. He had five targets in this game. He had an underneath route that was trailing 12 yards on a first down.

[00:21:15]

Did you get to go watch all these by chance? Yes. I was really impressed.

[00:21:20]

Yeah. They isolated him on the right side for his next target. He sat in a zone, which was my favorite one, sat really nicely in the zone on his third target. He He got a deep one-on-one ball on his fourth target, which he caught. That's his specialty for 28 yards. Then the next target was an in-zone target. It's like the utilization was there. The talent is there. This is a highly drafted, rookie-wide receiver who on week one was... There was all these questions. And in fact, at the very beginning of the game, it was like, Oh, is this going to be McHollins? You had these questions of who's going to be the wide receiver.

[00:21:56]

It wasn't Curtis Samuel. No. And in this game, it wasn't Dalton Kincaid either. But I think Coleman and Kincaid are bilos, based on what happened in week one.

[00:22:05]

Yes. When a rookie wide receiver does something, any note, and 4 for 51 in your first professional game that is of note, especially when you were drafted later. I would be pretty aggressive with him. And am I hungry for more? It's the whole team. It's the Tampa Bay Bucaneers. What is the actual truth about this team. Is Chris Godwin back? Because he was 8 for 89 with a shutdown. 55 % of his snaps were in the slot. And look, he is a player who has been Good in his career. We were excited but hesitant about the whole offseason news about him moving back to the slot because he was taken out of it last year, and his production went So that's a question. I mean, Baker, can he keep it up? Absolutely. Or that's a question. And then Jalen McMillan, third-round rookie wide receiver, a full-time starter immediately. He only had one catch. It was a 32-yard countdown. And there was another play where I'm trying to remember. I think Baker just missed him.

[00:23:21]

He had a bad drop. Or it was a drop. Yeah, he had a bad drop to start his career a la what we saw from Harrison, too.

[00:23:28]

Yeah, I couldn't recall his fault it was, but it was a breakdown. It's a drop. That sucks. It's a young kid out there getting his first action in the NFL. It happens. But the fact that he had broken free and could have scored two times in this Two big touch downs in this game. Is McMillan a guy who's going to pop up here as going to be a fantasy starter? He ran the most routes on the team. That could be a production or a product of game script because they were destroying Washington. But this Bucks team overall, it's exciting.

[00:24:03]

You could be hungry for more of what you saw from the Bucks across the board, every single player on that roster. It was easy to dismiss some of the Saints' performance in week one because of Carolina. We're going to find out whether it was worthy to... Is this the prescription for Tampa or just a product of playing a bad defense? But I'm hungry for more Godwin for sure. Mcmillan, it's neat to have a younger player with the chance to emerge, and then, ho Mike Evans.

[00:24:31]

Two more touch downs.

[00:24:32]

We just do what we do. That first touch down was... He had go, go, gadget extendable arms.

[00:24:40]

It was first ballot, it was first ballot arms.

[00:24:43]

He is going to get into the Hall of Fame right away on that second ballot. When that second ballot comes around, people are going to be like, Yep, I've been waiting for this one.

[00:24:53]

But if he does put up a 36-touchdown season based on the current pace- If he puts up a 36-touchdown You'll change your mind.

[00:25:00]

I will 100% change your mind.

[00:25:01]

That was... Yeah, that makes sense. All right, that was Hungary For More, presented by Uber Eats. Get game day deals all season long, only on Uber Eats, official on-demand food delivery partner of the NFL. Order now. We're going to take a break, come back with some news. Well, we got big news to talk about, so let's jump in.

[00:25:30]

News and notes from Around the League, presented by USAA Insurance.

[00:25:38]

Let's start with the Thursday night updates that we have. We're previewing that game today as well. But Raheem Moster has been rolled out for Thursday's game against the Bills. Devon Achan, both Moster and Achan had been marked as did not practice for the two pretend practices. Achan will be a game-time decision. Mike McDaniel said, We'll see.

[00:25:59]

He was He was getting some work in today. Lighter, but he's actually practicing, so it would seem like he will play.

[00:26:06]

Cameron Wolf on ESPN said that they watched him go through all the running back drills and reps, including changing direction, catching passes on his ankle, no red jersey or clear visual limitations from the media viewing, and I need that, Mike. I need this quote. You know what I'm hungry for? I'm hungry for more Devon H.

[00:26:24]

The question will be, if he's active, what is the utilization of Jeff Wilson Jr. And Jalen Wright, who will be active in this game because he was inactive in week one with Mostard out? You know the team likes to use multiple backs. Achan is coming off of an injury, and I wouldn't have expected him to get everything anyways. So then what do you do with those other two guys? And how risky is the start of Achan if you know that this is a situation where you could see it could be the Tee Higgins. You You could have some opportunity and a re-injury, and you could be sad. But at the same time, Achan represents such incredible upside, how do you not play?

[00:27:10]

Yeah, the fact that it's an ankle, I would be much more concerned if it was a tissue issue of reaggravation. Obviously, you can get your ankle rolled up on again. But if they tape the ankle and it's medically fine for him to play, I'm not scared about playing him in that situation. I think the real question is, whether he's there or not, there will be value to either Jeff Wilson or Jalen Wright, and you've got to figure out which one of those two to start. Wright has far more juice, and in this offense, You could see one of those big explosive plays. But I would expect right now, I would expect Jeff Wilson to be the Rahim Mostert role. He was active in week one, and he has been a real big part of this team in this running back room this offseason. They give out these special jerseys for the best player in practice through their camp. I remember a day that Achan got it, and I went back and I looked at the log of everyone that got it. And one of the only players to get it twice was Jeff Wilson. So he's coming off of an incredible camp.

[00:28:17]

I am in the boat of Jeff Wilson is the two here.

[00:28:22]

Talk about an island game with trust. Trusting the rookie doesn't seem like the best choice for this team.

[00:28:27]

I am on the side of complete nervousness about every single one of those players. I think HN will play. And if I have HN, I'm playing him. So I guess I'm not trying to spook people off of playing HN. I would do that. But Jeff Wilson played special teams in week one. Is that why he was active? I mean, he got 15% of the snaps, and I think he got some touches because of the injuries that H&M and Mostard had. H&m was a healthy scratch last year, week one. So both Jeff Wilson and Jalen Wright are worthy pickups, should somehow they be left on your waiver. But the order of how the touches it's going to go, I think you're going to be holding your breath no matter who you're playing from that Dolphins backfield.

[00:29:21]

Ian Rappaport came out yesterday, said that Christian McCaffrey is a long shot to play in week two.

[00:29:28]

Where's the reporting before week one?

[00:29:32]

Well, I mean, the reporting was the fact that he had been hurt five weeks ago and was not seen in preseason and practiced in a limited capacity.

[00:29:42]

But we were also getting the reports from Beat Reporters was, No, he's going to play.

[00:29:46]

Yeah, he's going to be fine. He's fine.

[00:29:48]

There was hesitancy from the coaching staff. If you remember that, we had the weird quote from Shanaher, like, Dude, please clear this up. But all The reporters that I saw were saying, No, he will play.

[00:30:04]

I offered Jason a trade this morning in the dynasty. I offered him Christian McCaffree and a first-round rookie pick for a breeshole.

[00:30:16]

I would have turned that down.

[00:30:17]

Yeah, I'm sure he'll turn it down. But the worry is that you're going to have a lingering injury from McCaffree. Now, I think when push comes to shove over the course of the year, Macafre will get back. It's Achilles tendinitis in a calf strain that does not lead to tearing your Achilles in any... There's no correlation between Achilles tendinitis, which is a... There's a level of pain tolerance that goes along with that. They have the ability to put Jordan Mason in the lineup to run Debo Samuel as a running back and be fine.

[00:30:51]

Jordan Mason could be what has changed this. But this is... If Jordan Mason went out there and fell on his face, maybe they're like, Hey, Christian, we need you to get back in there. But Jordan Mason was so awesome that maybe they feel like, Let's just rest Christian McCaffrey.

[00:31:08]

This is a Super Bowl team. Super Bowl aspirations. They only have one goal. Their goal is not to make the play Their goal is to win a Super Bowl. And so, yeah, if I'm them and Jordan Mason has the hot hand and is looking good, I would rest McCaffrey as long as I could.

[00:31:26]

Mccaffrey could have played, according to David Lombardi of the Athletic, if it was a play-off game.

[00:31:29]

If it was a play-off game, which they play, Minnesota. Yeah, they play on the road against the Vikings this week.

[00:31:36]

I know McAfree. Mcafree wants to play. He does not want to miss one ounce. He doesn't want to baby this injury. He thinks he can play When he thinks he can play, he's going to play. He's earned that with this team.

[00:31:50]

Which I read a blurb of that Minnesota installed new turf. I didn't dive into it, but that could factor into this decision as well.

[00:32:00]

So right now, Jordan Mason is a great start. If your waivers went through and you got him, he's a great start. Congratulations. If Christian McCavary is active, he's a great start this week, and it could be longer.

[00:32:11]

Right now, it's saying a long shot to play this week, but he could play if it's the playoff. So I think this is when it matters. The week after Minnesota, they're on the road in division against the Rams. That is a game where that's more of the payoff environment. Very, very, very important win.

[00:32:29]

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. David Najoku ruled out for week two. The team is hosting Herb Smith Jr. And Jeff Swaim to the practice squad right now.

[00:32:36]

Jason, you had Najoku, right? Yes.

[00:32:39]

What did you end up doing with him? I had to hold on to him because he wasn't ruled out. He wasn't marked out. I had to hold on to him and I hoped that I did not have to wait until Sunday to be able to put him in my IR. When I saw that he was ruled out, I was like, Yes, baby.

[00:32:53]

They at least gave you it now, but they did not give it to you before the waiver was read.

[00:32:57]

What did you do at tight-in?

[00:32:58]

I ended up picking up Dallas Goddard, which I- You did not win the likely sweepstakes. I did not win the likely sweepstakes.

[00:33:05]

I went- You went pretty soft.

[00:33:08]

Well, I didn't go 81. I mean, yeah.

[00:33:14]

That is one league, by the way. I am in nine leads. I could have been on a likely in all of them, and I did. Nothing close to that. That league exclusively, I feel naked at tight end, and I wanted him.

[00:33:28]

So this- You got him. Yeah. For me, when I'm looking at the matchups and the fact that it's a temporary thing, I think I'm going to miss Najoku for three weeks.

[00:33:38]

Happened it dumps early, guys. You don't know what a dump is. All right, that was today's news and notes presented by USAA Insurance. Learn more at usaa. Com/insurance.

[00:33:52]

Thursday Night Breakdown.

[00:33:55]

The Buffalo Bills at 1:00 take on the Miami Dolphins, who are Also want to know, the DK Sportsbook line, Miami minus two and a half. The over-under is 49 beautiful Thursday night points that I totally don't believe in. And that gives an implied point total of 26 to Miami and 23 to Buffalo. Both teams were down big in week one. Both teams came back. They were both down 17 to three. They both won their matchups, overcoming Jacksonville. That's what Miami did at home, and then Buffalo at home against Arizona. Last year, they had two matchups in week 4, Buffalo won 48 to 20. That would have hit the over. And then in week 18, Buffalo won 21 to 14.

[00:34:41]

That would not.

[00:34:42]

Yeah. In week one, I It felt like both teams were very slow starters on offense. That was obvious. I think the Miami one was more surprising just because Buffalo, I think we expected some of the new offensive pieces to come along slower, whereas Miami was running back what they had, and they still didn't get it done until late. But this is a fun Thursday night matchup. I think that's the headline. Josh Allen is going to play. The reason I say that is because he's been dealing with an injury to his non-throwing hand. No concerns here for either of you?

[00:35:20]

No. No.

[00:35:21]

I hope he doesn't get hit in the hand, but in terms of he's going to play, and he should play a full game, and it should be full fantasy strength, Josh Allen.

[00:35:33]

Two in week one. He had a big plate at Tyreek, missed him on another one. We know that the running back room might be thinned out from a dependency standpoint. At the end of the day, you're not getting as much production if Devon Achan isn't getting as many snaps, if Moster's not there. So there's the possibility that this is even more of a pass-heavy offense. I know Malik Washington is not practicing, but Jalen Waddle managed to return to the game.

[00:36:05]

Jalen Waddle managed to be marked out on fantasy platforms and then score more points. Did he?

[00:36:11]

Yeah. The sleeper marked him out? Yeah, he was actually marked out. I think it wasn't just sleeper, too. No, it was just reported that he was out, I believe, with a concussion. Oh, concussion. Yeah. And then he played the game, which is called a Waddle. I mean, that is what he does. He finds a way to get injured every game, but play. Still play through, and I expect them to do it again.

[00:36:33]

If you call somebody for a dinner party and you cancel, and then you still show up, that's a waddle. Yeah, sure. That's what that is, because they declared you out. They cleared the plates off, and then you were like, Where's my food? Get out the way. I mean, he is like... It's every game.

[00:36:50]

Yeah. But he was 5 for 109, baby.

[00:36:54]

That was good.

[00:36:55]

Do you think there's anything with the dolphins? I feel like they surprise people with their system and their speed, they can really just shock a defense. But in this division, Buffalo, I feel like, has their number a little bit. They beat them both times last season. Interesting set. Tua has never finished inside the top 12 as a quarterback against Buffalo, and he's played a lot of games against Buffalo. This is one where it's nice that it's in Miami for your Waddle and your Tyree kill and all that. I'm not saying that you sit those guys, but I worry- Are you streaming quarterback? I think Tua is someone I would potentially look at other options. If I had Goff, I would play Goff.

[00:37:42]

Okay, so you'd go Goff, Tua, or let's say- That's interesting. Matthew Stafford against the Arizona Cardinals.

[00:37:50]

Oh, gosh. I'm playing Tua over both.

[00:37:52]

Okay.

[00:37:54]

I'm fine with Goff. Goff is fine.

[00:37:56]

Where are you at?

[00:37:57]

But definitely over Stafford.

[00:37:58]

Yeah, I would play him over Stafford. Okay.

[00:38:00]

Brock Purdy.

[00:38:01]

I've got Brock Purdy one spot ahead.

[00:38:05]

Okay. Tyreke and Waddle are easy starts. The other side, the discussion I wanted to get into was what we saw in the field from Dalton Kincaid in week one. Because so many tight-in struggled. We didn't really drill down on a handful of them in terms of, are you concerned? Kincaid was one of those guys that I was not personally super concerned about. Jason mentioned five pass attempts in the first half. Hard to be targeted. When Can you throw the ball five total times. Also, when you watch the film, when you go back, you saw the Cardinals focused on Dalton Kincaid. And that makes sense for teams right now when they don't know what Keion Coleman has, how much you use Samuel, what Shaquille is going to do. The offense in the passing game, if I was building a defense, it would be to stop Kincaid first until we know what other things are going on. But he was out there. He was participating in nearly every route. He only passed blocked one time. He only passed blocked one I love Michael Keaton. He was 7 for 84 against Miami last year. I think Kincaid is just a player you put right in your lineup, and I went out and got him this morning.

[00:39:11]

Yeah, and that 7 for 84 in Miami last year was in the Joe braided version of this offense. That was week 18. There's some concern of that. But I like Kincaid. I'm not too worried about the disappearance of week one.

[00:39:32]

Keion Coleman, are you comfortable in week two, Jason? I mean, this would be a decision over other clearly startable assets for your team, most likely because of where he was drafted.

[00:39:42]

Yeah. Obviously, it depends on who you have. I'm not looking to shove him in my lineup, even though I'm excited from some of the metrics he had.

[00:39:51]

Are you hungry for more that makes you do it?

[00:39:53]

Yeah. So there are players I would play them over. If you had JSN and you had Keion Coleman, and that's a flex decision, I I would play Keion Coleman. Zay flowers. I would play flowers.

[00:40:02]

Let's go down a tier. Xavier worthy's great week one.

[00:40:07]

Oh, that's really interesting.

[00:40:09]

Very limited touches.

[00:40:11]

I imagine I'd go worthy.

[00:40:12]

Yeah, I would go worthy.

[00:40:14]

What if Hollywood's back? I guess you won't know because you got to play Coleman before you find out. Jamieson Williams, you're playing him.

[00:40:20]

Oh, Jamo.

[00:40:21]

Christian Kirk, after the dud of week one, would you go roll Coleman out there?

[00:40:25]

Yeah, I'd go Coleman.

[00:40:25]

Yeah, I think I would. That's what I would do, too. What about Jaden Reid with Malik Jake Willis versus Keion Coleman. Oh, goodness gracious.

[00:40:34]

I think I'll still play Reid.

[00:40:38]

I'm going to go Coleman there.

[00:40:39]

All right, one more for you, Jason. Okay. This one's going to be tough.

[00:40:41]

Oh, I already know the name you're going to give me, man. Lad McConkey. I knew that was the name.

[00:40:45]

Lad McConkey, what would you do?

[00:40:48]

No, that is- You're doing it now, too?

[00:40:50]

I don't know.

[00:40:50]

I love it. You're both banished. I'm going to go Keion Coleman because of the match up here. Now, Lad gets the Carolina Panthers, and That sounds good because you're like, Oh, it's a bad defense. That is not good. The chargers are going to be up, and they're going to run the ball all game long. You are not going to have a lot of passing volume, usually, against the Carolina Panthers. We saw this last year, and then they're one good defensive player.

[00:41:16]

They just lost Derek Brown, defensive tackle.

[00:41:19]

Yeah, he's out for the season. Yeah, I would go Coleman there.

[00:41:25]

All right. What about the other wideouts? If you were trying to cast a die and have it land on somebody.

[00:41:35]

Khalil Shaqirya would be the only deep player I would go with.

[00:41:38]

Yeah.

[00:41:38]

Over Matt Collins?

[00:41:40]

Yeah. I would not go anywhere else. Also, a reminder, if you are going to start Keelan Coleman, maybe you've got that. He is a flex type of player, but because he's playing on Thursday night football, do not have him in your flex. Put him in your wide receiver spot so that some rare late week injury to whoever your normal wide receiver Divers gives you flexibility. Put your late game players, the latest games of the week, put them in your flex.

[00:42:05]

[00:42:30]

I'll tell you what, man, because I've got eight leads this year. It's really nice to just... You think for me.

[00:42:37]

Yeah, that's what we're trying to do. And we do that for you every day, Jay. Yeah, you do. Mic it on. All All right, quick break. Back with some mailbag. All right, we know you've got questions. You've got panic mode. You've got start, sit, decision and we've got answers. So let's jump in.

[00:43:07]

Mailbag.

[00:43:08]

All right.

[00:43:13]

Thanks, Mike. We're jumping in. If you have a question, you can go to the website, thefancyfootballers. Com. You can click that submit a question button. You can dial our voicemail hotline 302464, TFFB, if you'd like, and we're going to turn to a voicemail to kick it off.

[00:43:28]

Hey, Balder. This is EJ from Florida. I love the show.

[00:43:31]

Quick waiver question. Somebody in my lead dropped Malik Nabors, 12 team PPR. Is this a full FAB dump or does it matter who I have? No. That's all of it. That's all of it.

[00:43:42]

You're going to go 100?

[00:43:43]

I would go 100.

[00:43:43]

I would go 100. Actually, I genuinely would not. I would try to make a trade if you've got FAB trading in your league for a dollar. So you can go even more? So I could go one on one and assure that I get them. I mean, the players like Malik Nabors should never be on the list.

[00:43:55]

Yeah, that's worth every penny for me.

[00:43:58]

I think so. I'm trying to think. The season is very, very long, and to have zero FAB.

[00:44:05]

And Malik Nabors.

[00:44:06]

And Malik Nabors.

[00:44:07]

Take dumps now, not later. That's a big dump. It's all of it. It's a huge dump. You're cleaned out. You're cleaned out, but it's worth it.

[00:44:15]

Give me the number, Mike. Brandon, I, U, kits, waivers.

[00:44:20]

Yeah, I guess that would be a full.

[00:44:22]

And that feels the same. It feels the same as that. Let's turn to another voicemail question. Hey, you've always...

[00:44:28]

Tyler Cosmos from New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

[00:44:30]

Fun fact, I actually went to high school with Raheem Moser when he played for our high school team.

[00:44:34]

Just a quick question. I just lost Pukunaku to that injury, and I have a plethora of running backs. I've got Brian Robinson and James Connor on my bench. I have the opportunity to trade for Jamison Williams. I was thinking about offering Robinson. Just wondered what you guys think his value is moving forward and if that's a trade that you would like.

[00:44:54]

All right. I appreciate it, guys. That's fine.

[00:44:57]

Question is, they're trying to trade for Jamison Williams, and they have an excess of runningbacks. Brian Robinson for Jamison Williams is... That's super dupey.

[00:45:06]

That's super duper easy. Super dupey?

[00:45:09]

That's why I heard super dupey. It's super dupey. It's super dupey.

[00:45:11]

Super duppy.

[00:45:13]

You saw Jaden Daniels take two goal line touch downs this past week. So Robinson- That one.

[00:45:19]

As people say, that's super dupey.

[00:45:21]

Yeah.

[00:45:22]

But James Connor?

[00:45:23]

No. No. I would not trade James Connor for James.

[00:45:26]

That would be stupid dupy. All But yeah, I think it's... I mean, William, Jamieson-Williams is an interesting test of waters trading both directions. I mean, if you can get them cheap, get them. If you can get a ton for them, I would do that, too. If you can go I'm going to tell you something. You're going to be able to... Well, maybe people are smarter than this, but the Jamieson-Williams versus the big week one Bust type of player is going to be an interesting thing because you could take Jamieson and something, and maybe you get Brandon Iyuk. Maybe that's the trade that you could pull off. 24 points in week one, which is what I think you put up in our league. That's a lot. It's pretty powerful. And it was on an island game that everyone watched. And Brandon Iyuk ticked people off when they spent the draft capital and did nothing. So try to take advantage of that. I, by the way, public service announcement... Or no, there's just an announcement. Where's a button for an announcement?

[00:46:28]

A Declaration I am out of the Kyle Pitz business.

[00:46:35]

He is gone. One week only.

[00:46:40]

Oh, man. So I drafted him.

[00:46:41]

Yeah.

[00:46:42]

And on draft day, I traded him to you. Yeah.

[00:46:45]

No, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Literally one round later.

[00:46:50]

Yeah, one round later. Mid-draft, I drafted him. A round later, traded him to you. You got the week one. Yeah.

[00:46:55]

You traded him- Yeah, number one tight-end of the drafted tight-end.

[00:46:57]

Yeah, and you traded him away for Dalton Kincaid. I thought it was really well-timed. Kincaid was very disappointing. Like you said, Pitz was the number one tight-end of the top 12 drafted tight-ends. That's how you capitalize.

[00:47:15]

Anyways, we're moving forward, but I'm so out on Kyle Pitz. Not really. I'm not really out on Kyle Pitz.

[00:47:23]

Is it more of a Kirk Cousins' concern or a Kyle Pitz concern?

[00:47:25]

I'm very concerned about Kirk Cousins. I really am.

[00:47:27]

Because Kyle Pitz, again, was 100% of the route.

[00:47:30]

This was a pro Dauld and Kincaid, and I couldn't have gotten Kincaid for Kyle Pitz at any other time of the year, in my opinion. I think Pitz will be fine. I think Kincaid will be better. So I wanted to go out and do it. And it wasn't straight up. It was pretty close to it, though. I think I threw Rasheed Shahide in, who had the big week one and just tried to capitalize. But I thought I'd share that just so you don't associate me with Kyle Pitz from this point forward. All right. Youtube question. What are your thoughts on Jonathan Taylor after week one? He had zero targets. That was going to be a concern. He was outrushed by Richardson. That was going to be a concern. He did get into the end zone, right? Yeah.

[00:48:14]

He was 16 for 48 with the Tuddy.

[00:48:17]

My thoughts are that you're going to have more variability to Jonathan Taylor than you did in years past, but that he's pretty good. I'm assuming, Jason, would you Taylor, Connor, rest of season?

[00:48:33]

I would still much rather have Jonathan Taylor. He is the more talented running back. I like the offense. He was out there on 96% of snaps.

[00:48:43]

Yeah, that's great.

[00:48:44]

Not every game is going to be good for every player. He is a great player. He's on the field. He will have his moments. We talked about this in the draft season about how he does not have the ability to finish as the number one overall. He has the physical ability, but in this team, he's done it before. But for this season, when you have a few goal-line vultures and you're not getting the check downs from the pocket passer, your titty-top upside is ruined. But I think he's going to still be a safe, really good player this season.

[00:49:19]

He plays against Green Bay this week on the road, and then Chicago at home the next two weeks. Two good defenses.

[00:49:25]

It is.

[00:49:27]

Yes, Green Bay is a good defense, but I I'm very curious how that game script goes out. Malik Willis, he's the starter, and maybe Malik Willis has improved, but what we have seen- Maybe not. What we have seen of him is this is not an NFL starting caliber quarterback. He just got to the team a couple of weeks ago. What I'm saying is I think Jonathan Taylor is going to carry the ball a lot as they're salting the game. Yeah.

[00:49:57]

In victories, this is the type of team- You guys are both thinking that Andy is going to win the ball game?

[00:50:03]

I do. Yeah, I don't.

[00:50:05]

I know. You said that yesterday.

[00:50:07]

Yeah, you guys said they'd be on two, and then I went and looked at the game and I was like, I don't think so.

[00:50:11]

Right. But then we looked at the quarterback and said, oh, yeah.

[00:50:15]

Look, who plays quarterback for Pittsburgh?

[00:50:18]

Justin Fields, former first-round pick.

[00:50:20]

Okay.

[00:50:21]

Just saying.

[00:50:23]

Okay. So because he's a former first-round pick, you love him.

[00:50:27]

Malik Willis is bad.

[00:50:29]

Yeah, I No.

[00:50:30]

No redeemable quality as a quarterback.

[00:50:33]

I'm not even going to hit the almost upset because they're not favored. I mean, the packers are favored in that game, I believe. I don't even need to defend myself because the line is set at Andy. Andy's the line. Okay. I've already got the line.

[00:50:46]

Mike's almost upset of the week.

[00:50:49]

It's one and a half, I think, right? What is the line? Oh, Cole's favorite by three. Well, that makes life really easy. Al, if you have the drop, just hit it now. Just hit it. And that way, you can get the nerves in your tummy, Jason, because whenever you... There it is.

[00:51:09]

Andy's almost upset of the week.

[00:51:14]

Get ready. Get ready. Packers win. Al will always get on board with that.

[00:51:20]

I love it. It's a great take. Does Malik throw more touch downs to the packers or the Colts?

[00:51:26]

Malik throws one touch down. To the Colts? You want to know the whole game? You want to know the whole score, final score, everything?

[00:51:30]

Yeah.

[00:51:31]

Malik throws one touch down.

[00:51:35]

You're saying to the packers, though?

[00:51:36]

No, I'm saying to his own team. One touch down past his own team. He rushes for a second touch down in the game. They kick three field goals on top of that.

[00:51:44]

Wow, they're on fire.

[00:51:46]

No, that's not that much. That's really not that much.

[00:51:48]

It is. That's 20 plus points.

[00:51:50]

Yeah, they're going to score 23 points. The Green Bay defense at home in Lambo with the crowd in the first home game are going to stifle Anthony Richardson. He's not going to have the big plays against Jair Alexander. And the final score of that game is 23-13.

[00:52:08]

I'm trying to quickly look through. Now, again, different team.

[00:52:12]

I already looked through the Almanac, Mike.

[00:52:14]

No, I'm saying Malik Willis. When Malik Willis was the starter, let's see, in 2022, 17 points, 17 points, 14 points. Okay.

[00:52:26]

Yeah. They turned the Colts over twice, getting short fields lead to the shutdown in the field goals. I've already seen it. Okay. I've looked into the crystal ball. 23-13, packers.

[00:52:36]

This isn't really an almost upset.

[00:52:38]

No, this is just an upset. Yeah, it's done.

[00:52:41]

Do you happen to know if that countdown goes to Jaden Reid?

[00:52:44]

Are you asking? No, it goes to one of the tight ends. It's Kraft.

[00:52:49]

So Tucker.

[00:52:50]

Kraft gets it. Sorry. And then Malik runs one in. All right. He also throws two picks. They're pretty ugly.

[00:52:56]

The picks are pretty ugly. Okay. Well, now at least we're being reasonable.

[00:52:59]

But they're on He passes, so it's like a punt. It's not a big deal. All right. All right, this question comes in from Josh in Connecticut. Hey, guys. In a full PPR, who would you rather have on your roster the rest of the season Brian Thomas Jr. Or Lad McConkey. I just watched Brian Thomas this morning. Brian Thomas. Absolutely torched Jalen Ramsey on a couple of routes.

[00:53:23]

There is no bigger Lad McConkey fan. He was on the shortlist for my guy. I've built him up. I'm happy with everything I saw. This is an easy Brian Thomas. I mean, Brian Thomas. Lad McConkey will be a nice PPR option, a flex player this season. Brian Thomas showed me stuff on the field that I think he's going to be the number one for a downfield threat, a shutdown machine. Brian Thomas could be easily a top 24 wide receiver this season, but his upside, if he hits, I mean, I think wide receiver one is in the range of outcomes for Brian Thomas.

[00:54:03]

Jaden Reed without Love or Brian Thomas versus Cleveland? Say that one more time. Jaden Reid without Jordan Love, so with Malik Willis, who will lead them to victory. Or Brian Thomas against Cleveland's defense? Full PPR.

[00:54:17]

I'm going to go Brian Thomas. I know Cleveland is a really good defense, but for all the things I just said, Brian Thomas showed like the one.

[00:54:27]

All right. Who should I start in Week Two? This question comes in from A wet willie. Okay. Chris Godwin against-Oh, man.

[00:54:33]

Those are so gross.

[00:54:34]

It's been a while. Oh, Wetwilly? Yeah. It's been many decades since I received a wet willie.

[00:54:40]

Bring that around the office.

[00:54:41]

That is just such a gross thing.

[00:54:43]

That's what I mean. It's so disgusting.

[00:54:45]

Can you imagine doing that to a stranger? A stranger?

[00:54:49]

I don't think people do it to strangers.

[00:54:50]

I feel like you could get arrested.

[00:54:53]

Yeah, if he did it to a stranger, I would not- Now, wait a minute, Al.

[00:54:56]

Tell me what you're saying here. Your dad still thinks they're funny?

[00:54:59]

He He does. He does them to my son all the time. Oh, no.

[00:55:02]

Poor Sawyer. How does he react? With joy?

[00:55:08]

No one is joyful. They got spit in their ear.

[00:55:11]

It's a little bit of a punishment to yourself, though, because you're getting your finger all waxed.

[00:55:17]

Well, you're not going deep, Mike. It's not a deep wet willy.

[00:55:20]

Yeah, but you're going in there, you're coming in hot with saliva.

[00:55:23]

You think you're waxing up? Oh, yeah. I don't think you're waxing.

[00:55:26]

You're a wet willy, you're not leaving without some wax.

[00:55:30]

I hope you're leaving without wax.

[00:55:32]

I hope you're leaving without wax, and I hope you're only giving one because if you go to do another wet willy and you got the wax, that's a real problem.

[00:55:39]

That's an eardrum, Danny. I mean, you can't stick that thing all the way in and pound the eardrum.

[00:55:45]

That's just banished. Wet willies are banished.

[00:55:48]

Wet willies feel like a remnant of the distant past. Al's dad is the last man allowed legally to do it. He's from the final generation of the wet williers.

[00:55:58]

Is he like, I'm going to give you a wet willie, see?

[00:56:00]

Is that how he talks, too? When he does the wet willie, he then makes a paper airplane and throws it around in class. He shoots a slingshot. He sticks some gum under the desk. And then he heads out for his paper route. I mean, that's what we got going on. All right, we're going to wrap it up. By the way, that question, I think... Did I get the question?

[00:56:19]

No, you didn't. It was just wet willy.

[00:56:19]

Godwin versus lions, Diggs versus bears.

[00:56:23]

I love this question. Diggs coming off of a two-touchdown game for a great offense. The bear's defense, if you They haven't caught up yet, the bear's defense is legit. They're very, very, very good.

[00:56:34]

Did you want to know what the Almanac says about that game, though?

[00:56:38]

Yeah. Sure.

[00:56:38]

Oh, my gosh. The Ominex usually only has one game. The Texans are going to pound them. Oh, yeah, that's fine.

[00:56:44]

I can agree with that. I'm going to go Chris Godwin versus the Lions, personally. What we saw week one, his utilization, trying to keep up with the great offense. You saw Stafford have periods of time where he was carving up secondary. So I think Chris Godwin has a good game this week.

[00:57:05]

Man, that Stafford-Lions-Rams game was all over the place. I realized one of the challenges and why Matthew Stafford is so good, but yet not so good, for fantasy a lot of the time, is because Matthew Stafford can carve your defense up, but the amount of plays it takes. You can be amazing nine times, but then get sacked one time on that 10th attempt.

[00:57:31]

This is why you have to go downfield.

[00:57:32]

Yeah, and they're not doing it, and no pouca doesn't help. All right. We've got Thursday and Friday, all the matchups for week two on the podcast. Don't miss a minute of it.
