Welcome to the fantasy footballers podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.

[00:00:23]

Welcome in. Indeed. Every year you think, Hey, maybe I'll just ease into fantasy football. And every year, it's like someone grabs you and chucks you out of a plane. You know what I mean? Oh, yeah. It hits you right square in the face, like full steam ahead.

[00:01:00]

Yeah.

[00:01:00]

Injuries. I'm taking on- Heartbreak.

[00:01:03]

Look, I'm in the finals. I'm in the tournament. Across from me is Daniel's son. He's got a bum leg.

[00:01:09]

Yeah.

[00:01:09]

He's standing on one leg. This is the easiest thing in my life. I think he crane kicked in the face. Last night- Because no one does that.

[00:01:17]

Wait, so I'm Daniel's son in this story, right? Yeah, you are. Heck, yeah, man.

[00:01:21]

I mean, we had what I thought was a boring, boring, boring first half of football last night.

[00:01:30]

Maybe in the first three quarters.

[00:01:31]

The big story here in the studio was that Mike Wright and Jason Moore were facing off against one another in the League of Records. Jason needed a mere four points from Dallas Godert. In fact, After the Sunday games, he needed six total points from Tink Del and Dallas Goddard. Yeah, it was a done deal. To get an easy win over Mike. We get to last night's game, and it's week two of the fantasy season. So I'm thinking to myself, Jason will be Okay, either way. It's week two. He's definitely not having a complete and utter mental breakdown to the jeopardy of his family and friends in the middle of the fourth quarter of the Monday night football game week two. That wouldn't be happening. Oh, man.

[00:02:13]

Oh, man, I feel bad for my wife. Yeah, no, I was tilted off the planet.

[00:02:19]

So we get to the point of this game where Dallas Goddard is not going to get the job done. In fact, he caught a 16-yard pass, Mike. Now, this is great because I get to recite this to Mike. Mike was at a concert concert last night with some friends. So he knew he wasn't going to win because you don't win in that situation.

[00:02:37]

Because Dallas Goddard, with A. J. Brown out of the game against the Falcons, needed four points. So essentially What? Three catches for 25 yards or so? Like, the absolute nothingness.

[00:02:51]

No, A. J. Brown should be an easy win. Jason is losing his mind five minutes left in the game. He's down by two points. Dallas Goddard Which is a 16-yard pass. We think it's the last pass of the game. This brings Jason to within half a point. Jason, at this point, I think probably-It was over.the neighbors called the police. All of the things you do for fantasy football. The Philadelphia Eagles go down the field. They soak up all of the Atlanta Falcons' timeouts. They're up by three points. The Eagles bring it down inside the 20. The Eagles proceed to decline a penalty that would have given them a first down in order to push their way to a first down. They accomplished the goal. Nick Siriani's shooting the fingers in the air. He's being nick Seriani on the sideline. I'm smarter than you, nick Seriani.

[00:03:41]

Yes, I am. Yeah. At this point, Dallas Godert, he can't score again because all they're doing is running out the clock.

[00:03:47]

So this game looks all but over. Atlanta, there's a minute and 30 seconds on the clock. Atlanta has no timeouts.

[00:03:54]

Yeah, I'm seeing the- Philadelphia. The win probability chart. Apparently, the The Eagles were at a 97.6 %.

[00:04:02]

Game was over.

[00:04:03]

The game was over. It's third down and three. Third down and three, and nick Seriani pulls out another special magic card from his pocket.

[00:04:12]

How much time was on the clock?

[00:04:13]

Minute and 30. Okay. So your options here are, I can run the football on third down, 40 seconds is going to be gone.

[00:04:20]

Now, keep in mind, they've been running very successfully.

[00:04:22]

They've been running for a chunk, plus they have the touch push, so it's like they have an extra down.

[00:04:26]

Is that because they gave A superstar running back a huge contract to pair with that offensive line for situations like this. Yeah.

[00:04:36]

All right. Same offensive line that made DeAndre Swift look like he's not a guy off the street last year.

[00:04:42]

I'm caught up.

[00:04:43]

So you're caught up. And it's just, let's run the ball with... Run it with Saquon, 40 more seconds goes off. If you want to run it on fourth down, which I'm sure nick Seriano would have done, boom, there you go. You lose more time off the clock. Atlanta would have to go down the length of the field with maybe 30 seconds left, maybe less. No timeouts. But no, we've got our magic deck of cards, Mike, and we're going to throw a trick screen pass to Saquon Barkley. The play call, it's perfect. Saquon out of the backfield, nobody's covering him. He's going to waltz into the end zone, or he's going to just probably slide down, and they'll knee it out. Drops the football.

[00:05:20]

So that superstar running back, I was just talking about, dropped an easy catch.

[00:05:24]

Dropped an easy catch. Now, but listen, Mike-Thank you, Saquon. You're going to be fine because there's no way that The Eagles, this point differential, six points. So you'd have to score a touch, miss the extra point, go to overtime, forgot it to even get a chance. The Eagles proceed to play against what seems to be nobody for 85 yards. It's like there's nobody on the field. Philadelphia, it's like they put their helmets on backwards. That's what the DBs played like. Not only does Atlanta march down the field and score after they looked like they couldn't do anything on offense, they do it with 35 seconds left on the clock, which means Philadelphia gets the ball back. The table is now set for Jason Moore to-One more chance to throw. To maybe win this game. He just needs one catch from Godert. Play number one, directly to Godert. Game, set match. Jason defeats Mike. Play number two.

[00:06:24]

My voice being hard right now? Yeah. That's from that game.

[00:06:29]

Yeah, that's what your voice is.

[00:06:30]

And next pass, interception down the sideline. Game's over. So one pass on the final drive to defeat Mike. Yeah. So that's what happened, Mike.

[00:06:41]

I will tell you what, ladies and gentlemen, it is in the best interest of everyone. I was at the Midnight Show. That's the band, one of my favorite bands of all time, living my life to the fullest. Had I watched that, had I actually He literally sat down and got to- Been a part of that story? Got to the last catch where he was just short and be like, That's it. That's it. I would not be here.

[00:07:10]

I mean, Jason- I would not be here. Jason posted in our company communications channel, two-man show tomorrow because he had lost this game. And then- Jason texted me.

[00:07:21]

No, he did not.

[00:07:21]

He sent me a text.

[00:07:24]

What did that text say? I was tilting.

[00:07:26]

Was it readable for air?

[00:07:28]

Let me peruse it real quick. Sorry for the hard loss. My wife says I should text you and be a gracious winner. I'm a loser. That was a millisecond for being a loser. Good/bad game. Sorry, I hope it somehow helps your roster.

[00:07:40]

Oh, my gosh. That means your wife experienced so much fantasy football madness last night.

[00:07:47]

I was-Your wife.

[00:07:49]

A text, guys, this was not through the works. This was a man demand, one V one text.

[00:07:55]

A personal text. What I did to you was unfair. At one point, Jason Jason's wife texted me asking why he's saying that she should change the combination to the gun safe.

[00:08:06]

Oh, my.

[00:08:07]

Fantasy football.

[00:08:08]

Fantasy is fun, guys.

[00:08:10]

Welcome in to the fantasy footballers, Andy, Mike, and Jason. We got a waiver show today.

[00:08:14]

All right, I'm thrilled I didn't watch it.

[00:08:18]

We really do care about fantasy football. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. I love that this story is teasing out secret parts of texts and Man.

[00:08:30]

Great news, though. Start, sit, decision that my team took two kickoff on Sunday did, in fact, cost me the game. Oh, no.

[00:08:39]

Was that your quarterback?

[00:08:41]

No, it was Wandael. It was Wandael or Michael Pitman.

[00:08:45]

Nobody in their right mind would have gone Wandael Robinson.

[00:08:52]

It was very, very close. In all the reasons I thought, I'm not going to play Pitman, they happened.

[00:08:59]

So you just You didn't have the courage. Correct. Okay.

[00:09:03]

The name. It was the name. It was the name versus the player who I thought was in a better script, I want to have better production. Yeah.

[00:09:09]

Well, because one, here's the thing. If you lose with Wanda and you would have won with Pitman, you can't live with yourself. If you lose with Pitman and you would have won with Wendell, can you live with yourself?

[00:09:21]

Only because I didn't watch the game.

[00:09:23]

Okay. How are we doing? Inducers Alley over there? Al Borland, he was along for the ride last night. Doing great? Yeah. We're living our best life back here. You get a W in League of Records? I did. Okay. Congratulations. You and Jason, both. We have a WaverWire episode today. Very excited to get into these names. A lot of decisions to be made because there's been a lot of injuries. I counted my leads this morning, and I have five leads where I was very Cooper Cup dependent. That was a big bet. I believed in Cooper Cup, put my money where my mouth was.

[00:10:01]

I mean, you were right.

[00:10:02]

And I'm broke.

[00:10:02]

Yeah, you were right.

[00:10:04]

21 targets. Yeah, now he's hurt on the IR. So there are some pickups that you're going to need to make. A reminder, if you use the ultimate dashboard, our new in-season tool, It will customize your waiver rankings for you based on your league. This is a brand new feature. I love it so much. All of our waiver wire rankings, you can see them on the fantasyfootballers. Com for free. If you go to jointhefoot. Com and join as a Footclient supporter and get access to the ultimate dashboard, we'll customize your waiver rankings. We'll give you custom spot starts. We will give you an optimization of your lineup every week, which is a simple way to see who we have projected for the highest points scored. And that's at jointhefoot. Com. I think we've recap Monday night, but I'll get into the players real quick. Big game for Jalen Hertz on the ground, 85 rushing yards in a countdown. The Touche Push worked well last night. Bijan and Saquan were incredible. Neither of them had a rushing countdown, so their games were efficiency on the ground but didn't score. Darnell Mooney, once again, had a nice game.

[00:11:14]

That was all the end, right?

[00:11:15]

It was not all the end.

[00:11:17]

I thought he had the big shutdown. Correct. But then on that final drive, wasn't he? Two of his three receptions were that final drive. That's what I mean. Yes.

[00:11:27]

He did have the touch down earlier, and then those two catches. All of Drake London's fantasy value came in the final drive as well, including the touch down. To me, Drake London, this is a sell high for me on Drake London. You could also make the opposite argument and say, Kirk Cousins figured things out, looked a lot better in game two, and maybe Jake London will be fine.

[00:11:49]

He did look a little bit better. We saw play action and actually had him move around in the pocket a little bit. So having one week in the books from playing on that back from the Achilles injury, I do expect Kirk Cousins will continue to get better each week as we go along with the season.

[00:12:07]

Kyle Pitz had two of his catches on the final drive, I believe. Three for 20. That final drive was very important for fantasy football for Goddard, for-For Jason Mohr. London for Jason.

[00:12:17]

Yeah, most of this game was a fart fest.

[00:12:20]

It got really exciting, though.

[00:12:22]

Yeah, it did.

[00:12:23]

You also had Devante Smith, seven for 76 in a breakdown. And There you go. It was a fun game, and the end of it was unbelievable, and now the Eagles are one-on-one. And the problem with the Eagles, maybe it's not a problem for fantasy. This defense on the back-end is a real issue.

[00:12:50]

Yeah, it really is.

[00:12:52]

That's going to be the storyline as we go forward. Is there going to be a good matchup for opposing defense?

[00:12:59]

A Philly Edge rusher has not recorded a sack in six games going back to last year.

[00:13:06]

Can they just undo the reddit trade and pay him? Because that would help, right?

[00:13:11]

Someone needs to pay him.

[00:13:13]

Yeah. Anything else you guys want to talk about from the game, or can we jump into the news?

[00:13:18]

Let's go. News and notes from Around the League, presented by USAA Insurance.

[00:13:27]

We found out right before the game, during an interview, that AJ Brown says he is expecting to miss a couple of weeks. Does he include last night's game in his description of a couple of weeks?

[00:13:40]

That's a great question.

[00:13:42]

I would assume so. But that means that this is not over. It's not done.

[00:13:47]

We got news this morning that Joe Mixon's injury is not considered long term or serious. Damian pierce could be back. Kam Akers and Damian pierce would be the handleman in the backfield for Houston in the game that Mixon misses if he misses a game, which we don't know yet.

[00:14:07]

Yeah. So we don't know if Mixin is going to be back. And then if he misses, we don't know- It's a flowchart. If Damian pierce is going to be back. So Kam Akers could be a great pickup, or he could be a backup to the backup.

[00:14:20]

Yeah. So there you go. Bryce Young is being benched. Let that sit there.

[00:14:27]

Incredible.

[00:14:28]

Oh, man.

[00:14:29]

I mean- Go ahead.

[00:14:30]

Hit the busted. That fits here. Busted.

[00:14:33]

Yeah, he is. He's broken right now.

[00:14:38]

I posted a video after week one of all of his worst plays, and it was a very long video. And so many people responded to that, talking about how it wasn't his fault because the offensive line was terrible. And to their credit, in that video I posted from week one, the offensive line, he was under pressure a ton. He was under so little pressure this last week. The offensive line held up great. They were graded awesome by pro football focus. This was solely 100% on Bryce Young, and And Canales said, Look, my job is to win games. And I do not have my best quarterback on the field right now. The best quarterback on the roster is Andy Dalton, the Red Rif, and they're putting him in.

[00:15:26]

I approve the move. I think that it the right call for the team, the franchise, the players, the future. You can make the argument, Oh, we play Bryce Young, and you can just salt away the year and just lose and get the first pick. Is that going to work? Does the first pick always work, Zack Wilson, Bryce Young? I mean, you can mess up the pick, and then you've got to acclimate. I think you have to win ball games for your fan base, and it gives you the best chance to do that. They are not this bad of a team. It's a quarterback issue. Andy Dalton can rebirth the offense. He can bring Deontay Johnson to a place of fantasy relevance, along with Adam Thielen or Xavier Laguette.

[00:16:09]

This is so good for fantasy football. This is incredible for fantasy football. Not only is it good for the hope of Deontay Johnson or the hope of Xavier Liguet, or it's also- What about me, Jason? And you, Thielen. Thank you. It's so good for opposing offenses to me. We talked about last week. I said, I'm benching Lad McConkey everywhere I have him because you're not going to need to throw the ball much against the Panthers. That's usually what happens. But if the Panthers' offense can actually score points now because their defense isn't good, like the Raiders this week. I mean, that's so exciting for Bowers and Devante Adams to be able to be like, Oh, here's now an easy defense with an offense that might be able to keep up, and you can't just run the ball out.

[00:17:04]

So big, big move.

[00:17:05]

It's huge. I mean, we tend to get really zoomed in on, Well, the quarterback, you got to let him play through the thing. But there's A ton of other players on that team. There's a ton of coaches that will be, should you ride this out? Now they have that scarlet letter on their chest. No, you were part of this team that you couldn't get anything done. And for a lot of guys, you get one opportunity to be a coach of any kind, and that's it. If you fail that bad, you have to go. And I believe for Bryce Young, it's a devastating blow to be benched. But Bryce Young was not going to figure this out on the field. If there is any way to save the pick of Bryce Young and turn him into a franchise quarterback, this, to me, is the only way it's possible. I don't know if it is, but this, to me, is the only path that it could actually happen.

[00:18:01]

I agree. He needs to sit down, take some time. But I don't think it's going to... I think this is a Zack Wilson situation where you're just saying... It could be. It didn't work. He's not good enough on the NFL field. He'll get more opportunities in the future for this team or another team just because of his history, but I don't think it's going to work. Andy Dalton last year in his one start, 361 yards and two TDs.

[00:18:24]

He threw the ball 58 times. Bryce Young is not throwing the ball 58 times.

[00:18:29]

Debo Samuel, surprise injury, going to miss a few weeks with a calf strain. So Kittle, who already had a good game last week, going to be involved. Juan Jennings, who will come up on the waiver show today. And Brandon Auyuk's return to glory?

[00:18:47]

It better be. I think so.

[00:18:49]

You didn't give him that schmoney for nothing.

[00:18:52]

John McVeigh confirms that Cooper Cupp will miss an extended period of time and is a candidate for injured reserve. An ankle injury for Cooper Cup.

[00:19:00]

They're running out, man. Oh, my gosh.

[00:19:02]

They also have their guards going.

[00:19:04]

They lost another offensive lineman. I feel like they deserve to be allowed to wave the white flag. They should be able to just be like, No, dude, we need two more by weeks. We're taking losses. They should be able to just say, We lose the next two games. We're not playing football.

[00:19:23]

We don't want to lose more players in that time.

[00:19:25]

Because you will, you might lose Matthew Stamford with no offensive of line and no receiving weapons. But we'll talk about the wideouts on the waivers today as well. We've got more news to talk about. I want to take a quick break, and we'll come back and talk about a big, big injury that's going to have big, big implications. Perhaps one of the reasons why Jason reacted so extremely last night was that he was right off the heels of losing Isiah Pacheco, who is expected to miss 6-8 weeks, a fractured fibula. The Chiefs are expected to bring in Kareem Hunt for a visit. Carson Steel is there, Samajay P. Ryan.

[00:20:13]

Clyde is still on on IR.

[00:20:16]

For at least two more weeks. Two more weeks. The backfield in Kansas City is another big talking point on today's show.

[00:20:22]

When we get to the waivers, we will talk about Carson Steel and Samajay P. Ryan in both situations, because we hopefully We should know later tonight after we're recording this, but before waiver's run, whether it looks like the Chiefs are going to sign Kareem Hunt. We'll talk about it. What do you do if they do, and what do you do if they don't?

[00:20:44]

Which Obviously, we can only share the news that we have. Thefantasyfootballers. Com. We have free waiver rankings up there. Should you want to go check those out, and if you want to support the show, Andy, I think you mentioned the ultimate dashboard at the top of the show. That is a customized to your league look at the waivers based on our waiver rankings.

[00:21:05]

Yep, exactly. Big week, lots of decisions to make on your team and how much FAB you're going to drop or waiver priority. Jack Ferguson is- Jack Ferguson.

[00:21:17]

Why did you say Jack Ferguson?

[00:21:19]

You, Ron Bergen deed that one. I really did.

[00:21:23]

To be fair, it says Jack Ferguson in the doc.

[00:21:26]

Kolby Jack Ferguson.

[00:21:30]

No one is frantically trying to change it either.

[00:21:32]

Jake Ferguson of the Dallas Cowboys. Jake Ferguson is expected to be back. His brother Jack will not be playing in the game. But Jake Ferguson, I'm blaming Kyle. I think that's fair, right? Is that Kyle? Is that Betz? Who's falling on the sword today?

[00:21:47]

Is this Brooks?

[00:21:48]

We need- I'm falling on the sword.

[00:21:49]

That's fine. Was it you, Kyle? Okay.

[00:21:52]

This is the way he's like, no.

[00:21:53]

Yeah, I know. Kyle, don't be a good guy.

[00:21:57]

All right. Well, Jake Ferguson expected back. That's good news for the Cowboy. It's good news for their offense, although they made use of the Scone Man. Scone Man. Evan Ingram, week to week with the ham string injury.

[00:22:10]

That sucks, man.

[00:22:11]

That sucks, but- Did you see the numbers that Cole Strange put up?

[00:22:15]

Do tell us while you look those up. Do you know who Cole Strange is? Yeah, I know who Cole Strange is. No, I know.

[00:22:21]

Brinton Strange.

[00:22:23]

It's Brinton. I said nothing because I did not know who Cole Strange was.

[00:22:27]

Brinton Strange stepped in and put up three Three receptions for 65 yards on six targets. There was a Cole Strange, right? Yeah, apparently a Patriot's O'Lyman. Thank you. Okay.

[00:22:38]

Okay, that makes a lot of sense. I feel slightly better.

[00:22:41]

Oh, my gosh. I acted like you, didn't I?

[00:22:44]

Doug Doug Peterson, though, did say Tank Bigsby should be good to go, which is great news. Nothing serious with the shoulder injury that might have been a head injury.

[00:22:55]

That's good. Taysam Hill also checked out just fine. I I think he'll be back. But that tight-end room we're starting to see is Foster Morrow is the starter, and then Juan Johnson is also part of it, and then Taisam Hill is also part of it. With this news of Taisam Hill's injury, I was thinking if he missed his time, Juan Johnson looks interesting. But Foster has been the starter. Right now, the way this offense is playing, they're not throwing the ball close to the line of scrimmage. Right now, Derek Carr has the He's going downfield more than anybody in football.

[00:23:33]

And part of the issue is we still don't know what is the actual... What is a neutral offense for the New Orleans Saints? They've blown two teams out. They won't blow a team out every single week.

[00:23:47]

I guess they're neutral at the beginning.

[00:23:50]

Yeah, but then they hit a big play right away, it seems like to Rasheed Shahid. So I don't think we know what this team in a regular game actually looks What's the latest- What's the latest?

[00:24:01]

You could be Foster. Mike on your boy, Tee Higgins.

[00:24:03]

Oh, guys, great news. Head coach, Zack Taylor says, Things are moving in a, quote, positive direction for week three.

[00:24:12]

So very actionable.

[00:24:14]

Yeah, it's a Positive direction. Even more excellent news. They play on Monday night. Oh, perfect. Who knows?

[00:24:23]

So we won't know.

[00:24:24]

Don't play T. Higgins. Don't play T. Higgins even if he's active.

[00:24:28]

What if it's three full practices?

[00:24:29]

Because you won't know until then. Oh, three full practices?

[00:24:32]

If he's practicing in full the whole week, what's the flow chart here?

[00:24:36]

Like limited, limited, full we play?

[00:24:38]

Oh, man.

[00:24:41]

Do we need at least one full? Two fulls. Two fulls?

[00:24:44]

I think that's right. I think you got to have two full practices, and I don't think you're going to have that this week. And the saddest part is that it's against the commanders. This is a wonderful match up. I mean, Tee Higgins will- Yeah, two fulls. I think T. Higgins is going to score a a lot of points on a lot of people's bench.

[00:25:04]

Yeah, I mean, the idea that- Sounds like you should play him. The idea that you can't wait for him- Well, no.

[00:25:07]

If you play him, he won't score a lot of points. This is T. Higgins.

[00:25:11]

You'd be easy to say, Start somebody else and don't wait on him, but the matchup so good. And there's so many wide receiver injuries right now, like Juan Jennings. Are you playing Juan? Are you waiting for Tee? If you could have Yosha Voss or Trent Nervin waiting in the wings behind Tee, that would be the strategy.

[00:25:31]

100%. If I've got Tee Higgens, if Yosha Voss is out there, absolutely. I'm going to pick him up, and he will be my pivot in a great matchup should Tee not play, and then I can play Tee if he's in.

[00:25:42]

Yeah. Or if you had Zack Moss, who seems like a good play. Or you had Chase Brown as a pivot option. Sure.

[00:25:49]

I would play Zack Moss over Tee if Tee is active, though. Yeah.

[00:25:53]

So what about Chase Brown?

[00:25:54]

Yeah, you could use him as a pivot, but I would go Tee over Brown.

[00:25:59]

Tomlin is preparing for Justin Fields to start again.

[00:26:04]

We'll see. They said if they go 2-0, it's probably going to be Fields for the foreseeable future.

Welcome to the WaverWire, presented by NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV.

[00:26:26]

Let's talk about the running back position Let's start with the injury-impacted options. So we're talking P. Ryan and Carsten Steele with the potential addition of Kareem Hunt. And then we'll talk about Cam Akers and Damian pierce. What approach are you taking, Jason? I know you went. I was looking over at you. This is before you melted down into a puddle later in the evening. I was watching you watch every Carson Steel snap and opportunity, looking over his collegiate profile, watching Samajay Ryan, who profiles more prototypically as a running back. I mean, Carson Steal still is flagged as a fullback. What was your takeaways from your review?

[00:27:09]

Yeah, the way that they've used him so far on the season, him being Carson Steal, he's primarily a special team's player. It was like almost every snap that I'm watching was just a kickoff or a punt. And so they gave him some short yardage stuff. I think he's a quality short yardage back in that fullback role. In college, he did have a lot of production as a running back, but that was when he was playing in the MAAC. It wasn't great competition. His final year, he goes to UCLA. He was okay. Over five of a carry, but was not a workhorse type of running back. It's my belief This is what I'm going to do on my waivers. I think most people are going to run after Carson Steal. He's going to be the number one fab-dump player this week for people needing a running back. I prefer P-Rine. I really do. I think this offense that wants to dump the ball down, and Patrick Mahomes is not throwing it far. The veteran presence. He is such a good veteran pass catching option. He's frustrating for fantasy managers because P. Ryan has never been special.

[00:28:11]

He's never done a ton that you just have a great fantasy stat line. But for NFL teams, he's been really solid. He knows where to go. He knows how to get his head around quick. He knows how to pick up in protections. He has a route tree for a running back. I think P. Ryan is the play here, and I expect him to get four receptions a game going forward. Now, this is all without Kareem Hunt there. Both of those, I'm P. Ryan ahead of steal. That is under the imagination that Kareem Hunt is not signed. If Kareem Hunt is signed, I like Kareem Hunt better than both of them, although I would doubt he starts this week. If you need a start immediately, then it would still be P. Ryan.

[00:28:57]

P. Ryan, looking over what he's capable of doing, reminded me a little bit of how we were never big Damian Williams fans of the talent. But in this offense, just being where you need to be is a pretty valuable trait.

[00:29:13]

That role will have over the next... I think Pacheco, it said 6-8 weeks. Look at it as two months. You're going to miss him for two months. Over that time, there will be probably three or four receiving touch downs to the receiving back this team. And touch downs are just about everything in fantasy.

[00:29:33]

Mike, do you have any disagreement with the strategy there?

[00:29:37]

I lean more on the side of Carson Steal, but it's a... I think that the real high-value touches are going to be split. I would expect P. Ryan will be the third down guy, and worked in a little bit on first and second down. He should catch more passes. But when they get to the goal line, that should be Carson Steal. You prefer to have the running back who has both those things. That's how you actually get fantasy production. It's more a question of, what do you believe the Kansas City Chiefs do? Because they've been extremely run-heavy. Let me pull up Mahomes' actual- That's why I love Pacheco. Mahomes, in the first two games, has thrown the ball 28 times and 25 times. That's not elite volume. That doesn't make sense for Patrick Mahomes. It makes sense for the last year or so, that's what the team has become. But that team at Isiah Pacheco, do they morph back to the, We're going to try to be the high flyers, and then Samajay P. Reine is on the field all the time. It's a very tough situation to gage. I feel like you got to make a call.

[00:30:46]

You should be going after these guys. I just don't know what level of FAB to put on them. Do you burn a priority? Samajay P. Reine is on a few more rosters than Carson Steel.

[00:31:00]

Whatever.

[00:31:01]

Let's say they're both there, Jay. You have the number one waiver priority.

[00:31:05]

Are you burning it for one of these guys? Yeah, I am. I'm taking a shot. I know for a fact that their running back has gone for two months. So this is not a one-week asset. This is a couple of month asset. You burn your priority for it. The truth is, Carson Steele is the much more explosive athlete. If you want a home run, if one of these pics ends up being just an absolute home run, and the next two months, we We look back and we're like, We should have dumped everything. That could only be Carson Steel. P. Ryan can't be a superstar. However, I really do believe P. Ryan is going to be an every week flex option and will score more fantasy points than Steel.

[00:31:43]

It is worth mentioning. Again, we don't know how the breakdown is going to go, but Carson Steal has pass catching in his profile as a college player. His second year at Ball State, he got 29 passes at UCLA. The volume went way down, of course. It It was from 289 carries down to 167. Still a great yards per carry, and he caught 17 passes. Catching 17 passes in college is at the running backs/fullback, whatever position. That's not bad.

[00:32:14]

He has the ability. What I'm hearing, though, is that if Creamhunt signs today, it's quite a bet for your fab. And maybe would you still want to dance with the Kansas City roulette, or would you want to turn your attention to Rico Daudo who got the start, and it seems like the Cowboys are figuring out the fact that they need to move beyond Zeke because Deuce Vaugh got opportunities. Sure. Do you look at If you're in a one-week start, do you save the FAB and look to a Cam Akers or a Ty Chandler?

[00:32:51]

I'm not as concerned about Kareem Hunt as Jason is because I think he's toast. But they need depth at the position. So even if Kareem Hunt is added, I don't think that he's the starter. Having seen him play the last couple of years, it's been bad. It's been very inefficient. So moving to that question, Rico Doudal is so tough because over two weeks, he's not a playable guy. But from week one, where he was the backup, it was a time share. The opportunities were very split. It was very close between him and Zeke. Then he gets the start, but now Deus Vaughn has put himself into it. The great news for Rico Dautil at this point is maybe the arrow keeps going up. 43% of the snaps, five targets for Rico Dautil. The offseason was, Hey, Rico Doudle looks like he's going to be the pass catching running back for the Dallas Cowboys. It looks like that part is true, and he could keep earning more and more play time.

[00:33:56]

All right, so what are you doing with that roulette, Jason? If Kareem Hunt signs, are you still making the Kansas City investment over the other option?

[00:34:05]

I would probably pivot to other options if I'm talking about burning a priority. On a FAB system, I'm going to go after pretty much all of these guys. You brought up Ty Chandler. Ty Chandler is a really good option. He has looked very good. He's obviously the second in the timeshare here, but I think you could start him in a pinch. Yes. Even Deontae Foreman, I don't think we've brought his name up. He had 14 carries last week in a tough matchup against Jacksville. He didn't do much with it.

[00:34:34]

Gets the Giants next week.

[00:34:35]

But yeah, the Giants this week, and he's widely available, and he won't cost you anything. I mean, he won't cost you much.

[00:34:42]

Yeah, Tye Chandler, 10 carries. Deontae Forman, 14 carries. Rico Dautil had seven with the targets. Braille and Allen scored twice. I feel like that stat line, he is the Quentin Johnston of the running back position this week. Two scores. Having seven carries and four targets is not- It's not nothing. That's not nothing. So when you think about long term, obviously, he's never going to threaten Brees Hall in this offense. But if you have Brees Hall, is this a high-priority add compared to what he used to be?

[00:35:16]

Yeah. Looking around what is happening, the devastation that is raining down on us with the injuries, I think at this point, you should ensure yourself. As in, if Brees miss his time, Braeland Allen would be a full FAB dump, he would be a full priority burn, and he'd be very good for fantasy.

[00:35:36]

He looks really good. When you talk about how Trey Benson's looked so far as a rookie versus how Braille and Allen's I mean, there's been a pretty marked difference.

[00:35:47]

I could not believe what the NFL said they thought of Braille and Allen in the draft was shocking to me.

[00:35:52]

Me, too. The kid is 20 years old right now, and he is an absolute mac truck.

[00:35:58]

Yeah. Who He had tons of production. His fall in the draft was strange.

[00:36:03]

Youngest player to ever score a countdown.

[00:36:05]

And now the NFL looks stupid.

[00:36:07]

Are you dropping Chase Brown, who's had only 10 opportunities in two weeks to pick up one of these guys?

[00:36:12]

To pick up one of these guys, yes.

[00:36:14]

If I need production right now, Chase Brown is still a fine stash, but you got to make moves if you need points.

[00:36:22]

Blake Coram, you're saying goodbye to Blake Coram?

[00:36:24]

Yeah, if I need points. I think so. I'm not even sure that it would be Blake Coram if Kyron went down now. It seems like It might be Rivers.

[00:36:30]

It's been Rodney Rivers.

[00:36:31]

How heavy do you want to be invested in that offense?

[00:36:35]

Zamir White has done nothing.

[00:36:36]

I'm not dropping Zamere White. I'm not either. They've got Carolina this week. I believe he has a really good week this week.

[00:36:42]

Then one of the other dropped candidates, which is a huge no way for me, but Gus Edwards.

[00:36:47]

Gus Edwards is someone who might have been dropped in your league last week. He's mostly rostered, but he was dropped in our league. Go look for him because- 29 carries. Yeah. No, he should 100% be rostered. Also, I don't think we've really set our order here, what to do with the Houston backfield. What is your pecking order, your flow chart for the Joe Mixon situation?

[00:37:11]

I am probably not prioritizing Houston running unless I have Joe Mixon. And if I have Joe Mixon, I'm probably just trying to pick up Cam Akers because he looked better than Damian pierce in the preseason. I don't think pierce coming off a ham string injury is going to get all the work. So I'll take the player that was on the field last week that looked better in preseason that I think the team trusts versus taking the shot on pierce, who when he has had opportunities in the last year, hasn't looked good. So I would go Cam Akers.

[00:37:45]

I would go Cam Akers, too. I agree completely. I'm Cam Akers. However, I would not go hard. I would make a zero-dollar bid on him because I'm fine losing out on him. This appears to be a one-week rental that might be a zero-week rental, and that one week is against Minnesota, and that Flores defense has looked awesome.

[00:38:02]

I agree. This is the Jeff Wilson gamble of last week.

[00:38:05]

If you want to see the entire order of our waiver rankings, including the addition of some higher rostered players that might be available in your league like Zack Charbonnay, go to the website, thefantasyfootballers. Com, and check that out.

[00:38:18]

Isaac Garendo is another guy. You think? He should just be stashed. He's the new next man up for the 49ers, should Jordan Mason get injured.

[00:38:27]

All right. At wide receiver, If he's not on a roster, please put Rasheed Shahid on a roster. We have a number of 56 % as a roster percentage. So he's been integral to the Saints offense. But the big storyline is, how much do you spend on Quentin Johnston? Because he's been the most available, most popular pickup at wide receiver. And is he that for you? And what would you actually invest?

[00:38:55]

Yeah, I'm not going to invest a lot in any of these wide wide receivers this week. There's like a dozen wide receivers that I think are all similar to each other, where I'm going to save my FAB money. I don't see Quentin Johnston as a great breaker. I have to have him. He's going to make a huge difference He got the two touch downs last week. Now, Shahid, if he was out there, I would go a little harder after him. But everyone else, we talked about Yoshavas. He could be great. You still have the Rams players lost Cup, so you can go back to the well of trying to go after DeMarcus Robinson or Tyler Johnson.

[00:39:36]

Those are the top two, right? And then Tutu Atwell would be behind.

[00:39:39]

Wittington would be behind. I would go Wittington as the third.

[00:39:41]

Wittington should be the Wittington should be the replacement for Cup.

[00:39:48]

He'll play in the slot. Where Tyler Johnson took over the Puka roll, I think that's how it shakes out. Now, Tutu will get on the field, and Stafford... The Rams are so strange with Tutu Atwell, because whenever he's out there- He's targeted. Stafford throws in the ball, and then they don't give him playing time, but Stafford seems to find him easily and loves throwing him the ball. That's a very strange situation, but the higher snaps, I believe, will go to Wittington.

[00:40:17]

Outside of Shahid being available, Robinson would be my biggest ad, then probably-So Robinson over Quentin? For me, yeah, because I just think that it's anomalous. I am not confident in any chargers light out. I mentioned it yesterday. I could be proven wrong in the right matchup. But I don't know who it's going to be. I believe you're going to get a Palmer week, you're going to get a Dizly week, you're going to get a rotation, and it's not going to be consistent because the passing volume is not going to be needed. If you run the ball 35 times a game, which I think their defense is good. They've given up 13 points on the year in two weeks. The recipe for them is going to be burning clock, running the football, and passing when you have to on third down, it feels like. And so for me, Quentin Jonathan, if he doesn't score, he's a bust. Mcconkey, if he doesn't score for me, bust. Palmer, same thing. So for me, Quentin is the player everybody's going to go spend their FAB on that I'm probably not going to spend it on, personally. Sure. He's ranked near the top, but that's not meaning that I'm going to go burn the waiver priority.

[00:41:27]

It's if I can get him for cheap or for free and have a pivot option That works. Robinson should be valuable for a team that doesn't... That's hurt on the defensive side. They gave up a ton of points. Should be throwing the football.

[00:41:39]

The schedule is brutal for the Rams.

[00:41:42]

Yeah, I mean, negative game scripts. Throw the football.

[00:41:44]

San Francisco, Chicago, Green Bay are the next three.

[00:41:48]

Yeah. I mean, that's just the way that I break it down. I do think that Yosivas should be paid attention to in Cincinnati. If Higgins misses another game, it could be good as soon as Monday night for Yosivas.

[00:42:00]

Yeah. Sometimes you just need a week. You just need to stream a flex type of wide receiver, and you say, who's got a good matchup, an opportunity? Juan Jennings for the 49ers with Debo Samuel out. He should step right into that role. I love it. He looks good out there this week. He gets to play against the Rams who are beat up. I would be fine picking him up in starting.

[00:42:22]

Do you see who got his first catch of the year for the 49ers last week, though? After the... I believe Chris Conley. What? I believe Chris Conley caught a pass.

[00:42:33]

Missed that one.

[00:42:35]

Am I-I don't know. I'm pretty sure he still plays football. Yeah, he's a 49er. All right.

[00:42:39]

Are you paying any attention to Jalen Tolbert's nine targets? 6 for 82.

[00:42:46]

It was interesting because Brandon Cooke only had two in that game.

[00:42:50]

Yes, of the Dallas Cowboys. That's where Tolbert is.

[00:42:52]

And Jalen Tolbert, the game was weird. They were being humiliated. They were throwing the ball a ton, unsuccessful. Do you make... I mean, what do you... I still like Cooke over Tolbert.

[00:43:07]

Yeah, I would still prioritize Cooke, but it's a... Brandon Cooke was in that game that They were getting humiliated, and he only ended up with two targets, where Jalen Tolbert... Has Tolbert figured something out is more of the question, in just stashing him.

[00:43:29]

I think it's a stash that's- If you don't need a wide receiver help right now, and you're going to let everybody else fight for the high-profile players, are you going to stash someone like Jalen Tolbert or Mike Williams from the Jets? Oh, Mike Williams. Mike Williams, as he gets healthier and healthier. He didn't play much in week one. I think three weeks from now, Mike Williams will be a guy you can start in your flex every week. I don't expect Tolbert to get there. He could, but I have a higher probability on Mike Williams, personally.

[00:43:59]

They pulled Dak in that game as well. That game was just toast.

[00:44:04]

Another Jowan Jennings type of player is Josh Reynolds. Josh Reynolds is a quality NFL-wide receiver, not special for fantasy, but he's been really involved.

[00:44:14]

On the Denver Broncos.

[00:44:15]

Yes, on the Denver Broncos. He gets a matchup against Tampa Bay. He had 93 yards last week. I think he's fine for a spot start.

[00:44:25]

Kalash'a Kare, if he's out there, is in the massively rostered but should pick up Was 5 for 54 in this last week. Tyler Johnson is the secondary guy, I think, to pick up in Los Angeles, way less rostered. Would you spend a priority on Tyler Johnson with the window of opportunity, or do you think it's just going to be too many targets?

[00:44:46]

I wouldn't burn a priority on Tyler Johnson with San Francisco and Chicago as the next two matchups.

[00:44:51]

I will mention a player that he looked better than any wide receiver on this team in the preseason. Got hurt, disrupted his start to to the regular season. But Josh Downs will be back soon in Indianapolis. Josh Downs, they could use a player like him in this offense. Right now, everything's downfield, which has been literally hit and miss for Anthony Richardson. Josh Downs, I think if they had a rapport in the preseason and he looked good, he would be a deep league staff.

[00:45:22]

For sure. Darnell Mooney, we talked about him in the game breakdown, but he is the wide receiver, too. If Kirk Cousins keeps getting better and healthier being able to be more comfortable in the pocket, I think that's a guy I would want on my roster for sure. And Jerry Judy, he's mostly rostered, but he actually looked... We got to give him a little bit of credit because it's been a long time since we've spoken positively about Jerry Judy, but he looked good last week. He made a couple of good catches.

[00:45:49]

I was made to feel very bad every time I took him the last pick of every draft.

[00:45:53]

So 5 for 73, and Amari Cooper is not on the same page with Deshawn Watson the way Judy has been.

[00:46:03]

What do you believe about Alec pierce right now, who's playing a ton of snaps? Just to circle back to Indianapolis, I know he's the wide receiver six on the year, but you're just...

[00:46:14]

It's fool's gold. I have a hard time grabbing Alec pierce, who has spent so much of his career running downfield and not coming down with those catches. To put him in my lineup and start him is just, if I've got Anthony Richardson and I'm Anthony Richardson, and I'm a super underdog, okay, sure. I'm just going to try to go for the fire and hope he catches a bomb, TD, but I have a really hard time buying into Alec pierce.

[00:46:41]

All right, let's play-Oh, and the Dorsch is a good start this week against Detroit.

[00:46:45]

They give up so many slot points.

[00:46:47]

I wouldn't do it.

[00:46:49]

I would.

[00:46:50]

He was just useless last week.

[00:46:53]

Oh, yeah. I mean, Marv took over, and then we- Well, I mean, Marv only had four catches in the game. Yeah, but he took over drives. He finished multiple drives to start the game.

[00:47:03]

I was discouraged with the Dorts last week is all I'm saying. Two for eleven. If that's a range of outcomes, that bug me.

[00:47:10]

Yeah, it's really just a match-up play. It's the fact that it's Detroit and They give up the most slot fantasy points, and that's his role.

[00:47:18]

Are you saying goodbye to Christian Kirk?

[00:47:21]

I'm willing to, yeah.

[00:47:22]

Yeah. Keion Coleman? No. No. Josh Palmer?

[00:47:25]

Yes.

[00:47:27]

Michael Pitman?

[00:47:28]

No.

[00:47:30]

Courtland Sutton?

[00:47:31]

Sure. I mean, he's fine. Deandre Hopkins. He's just like all these players. If he was out there, we could say the same thing. No, Hopkins is still coming back from injury. I'd hold him.

[00:47:42]

Yeah, I would, too. Who do you believe in more after their big week at tight-in? Hunter Henry, Mike Gysicki, or Zack Ertz, long term?

[00:47:51]

If it's long term, it's not Ertz, or Henry, or Gysicki. I mean, Long term is just not how… I don't think you can view the tight-end position on waivers that way.

[00:48:05]

If I have- Well, I mean, people that had Dalton Schultz, he's doing nothing. People that have had these spot start guys that are doing nothing. I mean, you got two weeks.

[00:48:13]

Yeah, which I'm saying is I'm going to just be trying to stream the position, find matchups. So I'll take Gusecki because he's got the commanders this week. They're at home. And nine targets last week.

[00:48:26]

So Gesecki would be your top pickup? Yeah.

[00:48:28]

I think I I'd probably ride with Hunter Henry for this particular week.

[00:48:34]

Chets.

[00:48:35]

Yeah, but I mean, who's sauce going to take away? Not Hunter Henry, I wouldn't think.

[00:48:41]

I don't know, man. He was 75% of their yards.

[00:48:44]

Maybe that's what the Jets end up doing. Zackerts, the floor is safe. The ceiling is nonexistent. Mike Gussicki is like, We have not seen repeatedly Joe Burrow force feed the tight-end position. Jamar Chase had... Jamar Chase was under 20% of the targets last week. I expect a market correction for Jamar. If T is back, then it's even worse for Gussicki. 15 %. 15 % of the targets went to Jamar Chase.

[00:49:19]

What are you doing? Gesecki was at 26 %.

[00:49:22]

What are you doing there? He's better than Jamar, obviously.

[00:49:26]

Okay, so those are the three big names for a streaming title It's a wide-in candidate that are probably worth mentioning. I am intrigued at the fact that John Smith has been used in the Miami offense the way that he has. They don't really have a wide receiver three. They I had to throw the football to Robbie Chosen and to boys. John, who had seven targets. I don't want to ignore that, and I don't want to ignore it when he provides an easy-Skyler. Yeah, he provides an easy path for Skyler to get the ball out of his hands early in the drive and swing it out to John, who's more of a wide receiver. I am just going to flag his name as an emergency.

[00:50:06]

All right, that's fine. What about Cole Strange?

[00:50:10]

The offensive lineman for the Patriots, I think, is not going to be a big play, but Britain Strange also probably shouldn't be picked up. Defensively, favorite pickups of the week, who do you have?

[00:50:20]

The Raiders. Well, I don't care that it's Andy Dalton.

[00:50:24]

Andy Dalton will throw interceptions.

[00:50:25]

I would say the Browns are one of my favorite plays. They're not probably a pickup this week. They're super roster. The Green Bay packers have a pretty good defense. Will Lovis loves to just make bone-headed mistakes where the other team can make touch downs.

[00:50:41]

How frustrated is his head coach in him right now?

[00:50:43]

Oh, my gosh. He hates him.

[00:50:45]

It does seem like he hates Will Levis. Normally, you go to battle for your quarterback, and then week one, you don't say it would have been better that we just punted on first down. And then week two, he just literally is like- He did it again. He's like, he did it again. The play is dumb. It's stupid. He's big boy. He knows what he did wrong.

[00:51:03]

I think that's what Will Levis needs. He needs to be- Shame? He needs to be shamed out of... He needs to be like... It's It's the quintessential spanking. It's like, you are going to remember your lesson because you didn't remember it. Publicly.

[00:51:21]

Yeah, you didn't- You don't spank in front of everybody, do you?

[00:51:24]

No. But this is how you spank verbally at podium.

[00:51:31]

Will Levis. Yeah, that was frustrating. Will Levis with the mistakes. They play Green Bay. Green Bay could be picked up. Inversely, Tennessee could be picked up. They've been playing well on defense, and Malik Willis is their current quarterback.

[00:51:45]

It will be interesting to see that version of the Green Bay packers not versus the Colts.

[00:51:53]

And not at home, not at Lambo. They're going to be in Tennessee. I think the Titans defense might be a better pickup than in the packers defense. I want both, but usually, when I'm in the tiebreaker, I'm going to go with the home crowd.

[00:52:05]

The Colts get to play at home against Chicago, who has no offensive line right now. And without Keenan Allen, if he's not back out there, target Caleb Williams. Seven sacks, I think, last week, pressured on 27 of 28 dropbacks. The Colts can do that a little bit this week and keep targeting the bears. Tampa is a They have one. They play Denver, so you say, Okay, it's Bo'Nicks. But Tampa has not put up a lot of fancy points on defense through two weeks when I was looking at them. That one is a good start. It's fine. If you want to mitigate against possible major problems against you, you can go that direction. I don't think Bo'Nicks is putting up big points. Bo'nicks.

[00:52:51]

How does it feel? It's all good, man.

[00:52:53]

All right. And then Minnesota, Houston, they look great on defense. They take on Minnesota Sam Darnold. I still think it's a target.

[00:53:05]

Yeah, I think that's fine. Sam Darnold is playing very well, looks good. He's got an offensive system, and Justin Jefferson. But it is Sam Darnold. If we look back a month from now and go, Oh, yeah. It was not going to be a season long of greatness. Sam Darnold's had good stretches in the past. I think he started one of the years in Carolina. I think the first month of the season, he was like the quarterback water. Oh, yeah.

[00:53:35]

He had all the rushing touch downs.

[00:53:37]

Yeah, it was like, I think we were a month into the season, and he was the NFL leading leader in rushing touch downs.

[00:54:12]

Full stream ahead.

[00:54:18]

All right, I'm going to go first here because I intentionally did not choose Jason's player. Okay. Because I didn't want to jinks him. And he's going to cost you this week. The reaction, and the spoiler alert is Derek Carr. The reaction to Derek Carr, I'm already seeing it on Twitter. I'm seeing it in messages to us. They want to know if you dumped full FAB on Derek Carr. They want to know how much FAB you spend on Derek Carr. And is this for real? The headline in the NFL for two weeks is the Saints offense. They've scored 15 consecutive times when Derek Carr has been the quarterback. Clint Kubiak, they're already chiseling him in stone, which, by the way, if you're Chicago's offense, with Shane Waldrin. You interviewed Clint Kubiak, maybe you should have gone that direction.

[00:55:03]

No, they liked what they saw.

[00:55:05]

But I didn't want to jink this car because when you give Carr the limelight, when you shine a light on him in the starts of the week or the streamers, and you hit that Stop. I'm just saying it's scary.

[00:55:16]

Well, hit it for me then. It sounds like I'm going first.

[00:55:19]

We can do that. Send in the car.

[00:55:21]

I will absolutely send in the car. He's been on fire, and the matchup is perfect. The Eagles, right now through two games, their defense is tied for 32nd in yards per play, 29th in EPA per play, 27th in sack rate, 23rd in quarterback pressures. I told you, they haven't had an edge sack in six games.

[00:55:43]

There's a branch over the trap. There's a branch over the trap. Let's lay another palm frond over the trap. I remember, I've been here before, so I'm scared.

[00:55:52]

I'm in. Tell me why it's okay. It's okay because of Clint Kubiak system. You see the changes. Last year, they were last in play action. They're first in play action. It's a completely modernized NFL system, and they were playing... Could we even handle watching the Saints offense last year? It was the most putrid, boring, non creative offense I've ever seen. It was everyone stands still. It was the worst. You guys run straight, and I'm going to dump it off to Kamara, and it's completely revamped. The Eagles are in trouble defensively. They haven't figured that It's the helmet thing.

[00:56:30]

They got to put them on forward. Look, everything you're saying about Derek Carr makes him an obvious pick this week. I do think he's not going to be an option for everybody because the cost on the waiver wire will be there.

[00:56:42]

Yeah, I'm going to spend 10 fab.

[00:56:43]

Sure. Okay, that That's a good answer. I'm going to go with Gardner against Carolina. I wanted to look for somebody that was completely undrafted that would be completely free on your waiver wire. He has the highest completion percentage in the NFL. He has arguably the best- Garner-Minshuh? Yes. He has- Garner-Minshuh? Yes.

[00:57:06]

Yeah, because Devante Adams and Brock Bowers have been unbelievable.

[00:57:10]

Yeah, you can make the argument that Adams, he's a top five, easily wide receiver, and then you've got Brock Bowers, who's a top five tight-end receiver. Those two options and no running game, to me, and the fact that Dalton could keep the game more competitive, I think it's actually a really sneaky spot start if you're hurting a quarterback.

[00:57:31]

I agree.

[00:57:32]

Yeah, I don't disagree. The completions stat was shocking. The most completions in the NFL of any player. Look at you, Garner. I'm going to go with Justin Fields. Justin Fields is actually playing pretty well, just in football terms. Fantasy, it's been the inverse of the normal Justin Fields situation. Usually, we get great fantasy football performances and poor NFL performances. But He's playing well.

[00:58:02]

That's the Jameis algorithm? When Jameis played worse, it was better for fantasy?

[00:58:09]

Right. And the Garner stat, that's shocking. Justin Fields is completing 70 % of his passes right now. That is absolutely mind-blowing. He's still running a ton, 14 attempts in week one, eight in week two, just haven't hit the big play yet. And if Justin Fields keeps playing the way that he's playing, It will happen. Rushing yards, a better matchup for George Pickens here in week three. Doesn't get Patrick Sertan. I think that field should be picked up a plate.

[00:58:43]

Dude, go trade for George Pickens. If you're out there, if you're listening, he is the best by low to me. He had 3.9 fantasy points this last week. Terrible, terrible week. He was awesome. He was awesome last week in that game. He had two Two monstrous, awesome plays called back on penalties against Sertan. I think he has looked-Great by low chance.

[00:59:07]

He has looked outstanding on film. Are you dropping Caleb Williams if you drafted him? Yes. Oh, yeah. Are you dropping Justin Herbert if you drafted him? Yeah, sure. And are you dropping Jared Goff, who went from the Dominator to, shout out to the Footcland, the Domester fire?

[00:59:24]

Oh, hey, yes. The Domester fire.

[00:59:29]

That is tremendous. Yes.

[00:59:30]

Jared Goff, he gets to play in another dome this week. Good work, Footcland. In Arizona. I saw that this morning. I was like, somebody wrote in and said, You need to call him the Domester fire now. I just wrote back instantly. I said, Yeah, we're probably using that.

[00:59:43]

Jared Goff, I Would you make the pivot from Jared Goff to Derek Carr?

[00:59:50]

This week, I would. I wouldn't dump Goff, probably. I'd probably try to bounce those two guys back and forth based on matchup and performance.

[00:59:59]

It's just such It's a good matchup again against the Cardinals.

[01:00:02]

I think Goff bounces back.

[01:00:04]

I'm not dropping Goff. I think I might start Carr over him this week, but I'm not going to drop him.

[01:00:12]

Yeah, I can't wait to see what Carr has in store. Can he overcome being called the stream of the week? That is the important... The amount of times that we've hit that button because everything's lined up for Derek Carr, I'm so looking forward to a new future here. And the fact that Jason's head will be shaved live on the air if Carr continues to win.

[01:00:32]

But I'm rooting for it.

[01:00:34]
