Will Kamala Harris pick a liberal soulmate or someone like Roy Cooper or Mark Kelly, or a red state governor like Andy Bashir? That would be a fun debate to watch, a swing state Democrat versus a California liberal. They could debate the influx of migrants and the impact on schools and teachers, or what exactly Harris did after being put in charge of the border, or why she raised bond money for violent protesters. They might even ask whether she called the families of people murdered by unlawful immigrants or ask about fracking or California's energy issues. Maybe, maybe, maybe her running mate can find out why she skipped Netanyahu's speech. Our next guest helped run a successful GOP convention. He was special assistant to President Trump, director of White House messaging, and worked in the intelligence community. Let's welcome Mister Cliff Sims. Cliff, thank you for joining us. What are the best arguments against Kamala Harris? It's only a handful, but there's some Republicans talking about race and gender, which to me is just dumb and not helpful. What are the best issues to prosecute the case against her?

[00:01:11]

Well, she's a genuine radical. I mean, I think that's the main issue. There was. Dave McCormick in Pennsylvania ran a recent ad that I think really sums up the best possible way to take her on. And it's basically just her, in her own words, saying things like, let's ban fracking, let's end offshore drilling. I think energy workers, american energy workers, should have to transition to another line of work. Let's ban ICE. Let's end immigration and custom enforcement. Let's give illegal immigrants free health care. In fact, let's decriminalize illegal immigration in general. This is someone who voted to preserve NAFTA, the very trade deal that hollowed out these states in the middle of our country. The industrial base is just gone as a result of what she did there on issue after issue, issue. She's out of step with the american voters. And the more that we're prosecuting that case, the better chance that we're going to have to beat her. And the good news is President Trump is the best in the world at prosecuting that case. And he's got a great running mate, as you just heard from JD Vance, who's going to really be able to go into these states in the middle of the country that have been most negatively affected by those policies and prosecute that case better than anyone.

[00:02:25]

You know, Cliff, you and I both used the word prosecute. The media loves to tell us that Kamala Harris was a prosecutor, but I could have sworn she, like, bonded out violent protesters. I think she's got more people out of jail than she put in jail. That would also be something I ran on.

[00:02:42]

No, I think that's exactly right. We saw this in the protests, the Black Lives Matter movement, consistently, from that to the border to everything. She is consistently on the side of criminals, not on the side of law and order. And if you're talking toplayed in the convention. Not heard a dissenting word, and that is rare in the republican party, not to hear a dissenting word. So congratulations on a well run convention.Thank you.
