Some mornings, you need to reach for your glasses, turn off the alarm, get up, get going, exercise, journal, meditate, get that morning routine in, get that day started. And then there are other days where you need to turn the alarm off. You need to go back to sleep and take your glasses off. And then you need to get up when you feel ready, have a cup of tea, curl up in a chair, and read a book. Whatever morning you're having today, make it a great day and do what you yourself wrong if you can't run a marathon this morning. Give yourself what you need. Today, for me, that means a little more rest.
