The next time that you start obsessing, obsessing over what could go wrong. What if I don't like it? What if it doesn't work? What if I get rejected? What if I look stupid? What if they judge me? What if this? Say this. What if it works out? What if it works out? Can you argue with me on that one? I didn't say it will work out. I said, What if it does? Because you don't know whether it's going to work out or not, do you? Those thoughts filter the world a certain way. The thought, what if it doesn't work out, makes you not apply. It makes you not write that book. Go to the gym. It makes you sit home alone. Those thoughts are filtering your experience of life a particular way. If you can think bad thoughts, why not think good ones?
