Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the next President of the United States, President Donald J.

Trump.

Many of you know I was the survivor of a politically motivated shooting in 2017. Donald Trump was one of the first to come console my family at the hospital. That's the leader he is, courageous under fire, compassionate towards others.

We're uniting today as Americans in the wake of the assassination attempt on the life of President Trump. The American people deserve to know the truth, and we will ensure accountability. I promise you that. I promise you that.

Not even an assassin's bullet could stop him. God Almighty intervened because America is one nation under God, and he is certainly not finished with President Trump.

I know that a lot of you want to meet my little buddy. If Baby doll could come on out here, she makes us smile, and she loves everybody. How could the message possibly be any more simpler than just that?

This time last year, I was a candidate for US President, and I'm proud to say that I achieved the impossible, which is that most of you actually know how to say my name by now.

Donald Trump has my strong endorsement Management, period. We should acknowledge that there are some Americans who don't agree with Donald Trump 100% of the time. You don't have to agree with Trump 100% of the time to vote for him.

Donald Trump has been demonized. He's been sued, he's been prosecuted, and he nearly lost his life. We cannot let him down, and we cannot let America down.

I know what you hear out there about Donald Trump. I have seen this man dragged through hell and back in and out of courtrooms, indictments, impeachments, mug shots, and even an assassination attempt. Millimeters, separated him from life and certain death. And yet it was in the midst of it all, as he was jostled off stage by secret service, that he knew how defining that moment would be for our country, and he hoisted his fist in the air.
