Hello, and welcome to the NFC East preview on the Druinsuit podcast. I'm Drew Livingstone. That's Cam Stuart. Cam, we were disagreeing before the show already with the top of this division. I'm leaning the Cowboys to restart this season again for this division. And you're like, No, no, no. Jerry Jones is an idiot. His team sucks now. And I was like, what the fuck?

[00:00:17]

I did really... You know what I love about the show? How you tell people things I don't really say? I just said that Dallas, I don't think it's going to be as good. I like the Eagles in this division.

[00:00:27]

What do you think of Jerry World having a It's a hologram of Jerry Jones now. When you walk in the stadium, he's like, Welcome to AT&T Stadium.

[00:00:34]

I think it's pretty spooky. It's like Ted Williams being served up on ice. I'm not really down with holograms of people like that. And he's living. I guess when he's dead, he can do it all- That's even more creepy.

[00:00:46]

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. All I know is his son shouldn't need to take over the team by now. The fact that he's still making roster decisions, I'm just like, I'd be like, Dad, listen, you're making tons of money. You can help us give us your input, but you're not making the final call.

[00:00:58]

Drew, the thing is, though, once Once you become rich and powerful, that's what you want to do. His pleasure in life is to be with the Dallas Cowboys. That's the whole thing that people don't understand. When you're older, if you like Black Jack, you're going to play it more. You want to do all the things that you love before you die. And he loves football more than anything. He loves the Dallas Cowboys more than anything. So I get it. His brain can be... Sometimes you catch him on the wrong day on his local radio show in Dallas, and things get a little bit weird. But the thing is, he loves football. The problem with this team, though, Drew, is, and we'll get into that. See, Sam is going to sign the deal. We're taping this before it's a preseason show. He's going to get the deal. But even Dak Prescott is like, Oh, maybe I'll try somewhere else if it doesn't work here. The whole thing with the Dallas Cowboys is they're a lot like the Leaps. Sorry, Dangle, I know you run the network. Every year, it's hype, hype, hype, and you never do anything.

[00:01:49]

It's the same shit. These guys are the same fucking team. They don't do anything. They get there in the playoffs. Dak Prescott is two and five in the playoffs. Not all his fault. The defense lets him down. When is How is this team going to get better? What are their improvements, Drew? You tell me. Tell me.

[00:02:03]

They don't have many improvements. They're pretty much the same team.

[00:02:08]

I don't love the Eagles either. I just think the Eagles- No, but the thing is, they were very good last year. By default because all the other teams reek.

[00:02:15]

That's why. Yeah, but, Kim, the Dallas Covers were very good last season, and they're pretty much the same team now. They were 12 and 5. We have to give them some credit. Dak was very good. He had a very good season. The issue is they don't pay their guys on time, and now they have three of the top players at their position waiting for contracts. He can't pay all three of these guys top all other positions. So you have to pick one of Dak. Who am I?

[00:02:35]

Lamb.

[00:02:35]

Oh, Parsons. Parsons and Lamb to walk. And which one are you going to pick? Are those three to let go? Probably Dak. Probably Dak.

[00:02:42]

I got to be honest with you. We talk about this on our shows. I think Jerry Jones has, and me and Gabriel were mentioning, I think he has a little bit of resentment towards that, Dak. He's one of those guys. He's let him down before.

[00:02:54]

He'll be polite about it, but you know- You know what it is.

[00:02:57]

Deep down inside, he's like, Dude, you haven't come through No, you know what it is?

[00:03:01]

Jerry loved Romo, and then Dak beat out Romo for the job, and Jerry holds that against Dack. Like, this guy got rid of Romo.

[00:03:08]

Romo is doing fine for himself, Drew. He's making a lot of money.

[00:03:12]

For sure. But anyways, they lost Tyron Smith, their opposite tackle. They replaced him with Tyler Guight in the first round pick. Probably improved, man. The Tyron Smith is pretty old, so it wasn't like he was that great. But Kam, what do you think of his Dallas call? He was off the hop. Will they improve?

[00:03:26]

How's the running game?

[00:03:28]

Do you believe in Zeke? That's another thing. No.

[00:03:31]

And Pollard, at least for one part, he can catch balls out of the backfield. They do have other guys.

[00:03:35]

I get it, but- You don't believe in Rico Dautil?

[00:03:37]

No, I know what? He's actually pretty quick, but I see a lot of issues with his name.

[00:03:41]

He's little, though. He's very little.

[00:03:42]

Oh, he's very little. That's the whole thing about the Dallas Cowboys, too. I see them. They got a lot of guys, like briddle players, and they're always injured. That's another thing about Dallas. I don't know who their physical trainer is. It's very similar to other teams. They always have guys in key positions hurt. You got to keep Dak upright, or else he'll panic and throw picks. But anyway, let's talk.

[00:04:03]

Yeah. So their win total for the season is nine and a half. It's minus 150 to the over plus 120 to the under. Nine and a half. To me on paper, that's too low. It's a 12 football team. It's low. Barely changed. I think they'll be able to score enough. And I think they're the best offense in the division, probably. I know they got AJ Brown and Smith in Philly with now they added Saquon Barkley. I just trust Dak a little bit more than Jalen Hertz when it comes to throwing the football. And we saw what happened with the Eagles down the stretch last year. It was just like a... I don't even know what happened. There's one and six down the stretch after that Sanfran So what do you think, Cam? Overnight, under, nine and a half wins off the bat, you're leaning over or under?

[00:04:35]

I'm going to go right on nine, just under. It's a good number by the books. I think a lot... This is probably a nine or a 10-win football team.

[00:04:40]

Do you think they're missing the play-off then?

[00:04:43]

I think the Dallas Cowboys can miss the play-off.

[00:04:44]

Yes, I do. Well, nine and eight, they're probably not making it.

[00:04:47]

Well, somebody's got to make it from the lousy, the shitty South, right? And if we like Atlanta to win the division, and then we got to think about all the other teams. San Francisco is in.

[00:04:56]

I don't think that it's enough for a wild card.

[00:04:58]

What about the Rams? People love the Rams this year. They're probably in. We'll talk about them in the NFC West preview. But no, I think they're right on the borderline. I don't think Dallas is as good as people think. And I have a lot of friends that are Dallas fans. My cousin, he's going to listen to the show and never talk to me again. No, seriously. A lot of people close to me are like, that's probably the team that I know the most and I have the most friends and family that cheer for. I don't know why they do. It pisses me off, but I'm not a Dallas guy. I just don't believe in this team.

[00:05:26]

Cam, I'm leaning that they're going to be an 11-win, 12-win football team again. And if you go alt over 10 and a half, it's plus 170.

[00:05:31]

I'm going to take them to win 10. Are we going to start this game again.

[00:05:35]

I'm going to sprinkle over 10.5. I think they're clearly far and away the best team in this division. I know everyone likes to handle that.

[00:05:40]

I think that's false.

[00:05:42]

Okay, we're going to do it after. Let's go into their schedule now. So the total is nine and a half. We let Cam go through the schedules as usual. Let's see where he lands. And no cheating, Cam. No making them land right at nine on purpose. I want your natural reaction quick off the bat every game, okay?

[00:05:54]

It's hard to do that, though, Drew.

[00:05:56]

All right. Well, let's just see. Okay, week one at Cleveland.

[00:05:59]

Loss.

[00:06:00]

Week 2 against New Orleans at home.

[00:06:02]

Win.

[00:06:03]

Week 3 against Baltimore at home.

[00:06:05]

Loss.

[00:06:06]

Week 4 at New York Giants.

[00:06:08]

When?

[00:06:09]

Week 5 at Pittsburgh.

[00:06:12]

Loss.

[00:06:13]

Week 6, Detroit at home.

[00:06:16]

Loss.

[00:06:17]

Wow. Two and four to start. All right. Week 8 at San Fran.

[00:06:21]

Loss.

[00:06:22]

Week 9 at Atlanta.

[00:06:25]

They can beat Atlanta.

[00:06:26]

Okay. Week 10, Philadelphia in Dallas. Win. I'll give them that. Week 11, Houston in Dallas. Battle of Texas.

[00:06:34]

Man, these are tough games. Loss.

[00:06:37]

Week 12 at Washington.

[00:06:40]

I'll give them one. Washington plays them tight, though. We'll give them one. Yeah. Okay.

[00:06:43]

Week 13 against the Giants in Dallas.

[00:06:45]

I think they sweep the Giants. So it's...

[00:06:48]

Yeah. Okay. Week 14, Monday Night Football against Cincinnati in Dallas. Loss. Week 15 against Carolina in Carolina.

[00:06:55]

They'll beat Carolina.

[00:06:57]

Week 16 against Tampa at home.

[00:06:59]

Win.

[00:07:00]

Week 17 at Philadelphia.

[00:07:03]

Loss.

[00:07:04]

And week 18 against Washington in Jerry World.

[00:07:08]

Loss. Upset. I have them winning eight games.

[00:07:10]

You have them going eight and 11, or eight and 10. What am I talking about? Eight and nine. What am I talking about?

[00:07:14]

It's good when we disagree on the show. It's good for business. We really agreed on Tennessee, and I switched your opinion. We had a real good division there. We liked a lot of stuff there. I think I sold you on the Saints being shit, but we'll see. But anyway, I think there's a lot... Even the defense, here's the thing about Dallas. They got all these key players, eventually guys figure them out, and then they get hurt in their backups. They have some guys that just absolutely get beat down. It's just one of those things. And I hate I'm not going to say it, despite the division not being good, the one thing I know is Washington, Commanders, they're a gritty team, and Philadelphia still has guys on their team. When they get together, there's a lot of hate in this division. Dallas, just, hey, if they keep injuries, high end for me is 9, 10. But I'm not going to... I don't think they're going to help me.

[00:08:01]

You're saying they're stealing? They're absolutely stealing.

[00:08:03]

Their absolute sealing is 10, in my opinion. Wow. Okay. What's their ceiling, do you think?

[00:08:07]

Ceiling for me is like 15. I think- What? Cam, I think that's the intention would be like the best.

[00:08:13]

15 and what?

[00:08:14]

And two. You think they can win 15 games? I'm saying ceiling. I don't think they're going to. I'm saying that's their ceiling. Here's the deal.

[00:08:22]

First, you're going to pay me for the things that you haven't fucking paid me for, wings and beer. If the Dallas Cowboys win 14 games, I'll take you out to the keg on me. I'll bring my credit card.

[00:08:31]

Okay, but I'm not saying they're going to. I'm just saying they're sealing- No, I'm just telling you.

[00:08:35]

You're not even offering me anything. If they win 14 games, I'm not even going to say 15. If they win 14 games, I'll take you there.

[00:08:41]

I think their floor is nine. That's why I like the over.

[00:08:44]

What? You think their bottom end is nine?

[00:08:47]

Yeah, I think they're that good, Cam. I'm not saying they're going to perform in the playoff. They're a regular season team. They're the least, like you said. They perform in the regular season, Cam. Fair enough.

[00:08:55]

All right, moving on, Cam. I didn't know you're... Wow, I got to go get you some 10-gallon hat and some saddle bags and some spurs.

[00:09:02]

Moving on to your commies, the Washington Commanders. They were 4-13 last year. They drafted Jaden Daniels. Cam, they've improved all over this roster, improved a new left guard, new edge rusher. Two new edge rushers. They got new on the defensive line. They added a tight end. They added a corner. They got a new kicker. They got new wide receiver, McAfee. The last career is Samuel. That's pretty much their only loss. But you think Dotson steps up in his absence? A little bit. They added Armstrong on the edge, Louver on the edge. Cam, their head coach from Rivera to Dan Quinn. Dan Quinn, you really like. I mean, he choked in the Super Bowl, but that's not his fault, right?

[00:09:37]

I don't know where I said I prefer Dan Quinn over- I mean, Riverboat Ron is a terrible coach. Riverboat Ron is probably a great guy to have a drink with, Drew, at a cottage. He seems like the guy, take out the boat, don't worry about it, have a scotch. But coaching football, Riverboat Ron is the opposite of the Riverboat. He's not a gambler at all. Yes, he gambled once in his life. He's always hunting.

[00:09:58]

That's every time.

[00:10:00]

That's what I love about the media. It's like the guy went for it once, where every other guy would go for it like 20 times. You call him Riverboat Ron? He's not Riverboat. He's like, what are those? He's Paddleboat Ron. You know the ones that you have to do yourself and not go anywhere? He's a canoe.

[00:10:13]

He's a canoe. He's a Cayak, yeah. All right, Cam. The Washington Commanders, third win total is... Let me just scroll down here. They're all the way at the bottom, the W. It's five and a half, isn't it? Six and a half minus 130 to the over plus 100 to the under.

[00:10:26]

That's a good number.

[00:10:27]

I think it'll be right around that number, Cam. I know everyone likes- That is... Wow.

[00:10:31]

That is a great number, Drew, because I was thinking they probably win seven or they could win six. Yeah, that's what I mean. Do you not say that's a good number from the books?

[00:10:39]

Yes, I think it's a good number. I don't usually bet on rookie QBs to go over the numbers. You don't see a lot of CJ Sprout seasons at a rookie quarterbacks. I think the angle starts right off the hop. I think there'll be a six-win-team, five-win-team.

[00:10:50]

Who's the back of again? Mariotta, correct? Yes. Yeah, that's not good for business. But anyway, we'll see.

[00:10:56]

Well, no. And Sam Howell is still there, is he not?

[00:10:59]

No, he got traded to Seattle, brother.

[00:11:00]

Oh, yeah. He got traded. He got traded. Yeah, that's right. He's going to start over Gino, probably.

[00:11:04]

We'll see. He will not, but...

[00:11:08]

Just trying to grind your gears.

[00:11:10]

You're doing a great job.

[00:11:12]

We're both leaning around the numbers. So this won't be one that we bet, most likely.

[00:11:15]

Probably not. I thought Washington, if I can find a five and a half, I'll definitely bet it, but it'll be crazy juice.

[00:11:22]

Some people are saying that they have potential to compete for this division. I don't agree with that, but- I think their ceiling is nine, unlike Dallas. It depends on Jaden Daniels.

[00:11:34]

I'm not as big a believer in him. Daniels is good. Don't you think Daniels is good?

[00:11:38]

A lot of people believe in him, Cam. He was very good in the college-style offense. I don't know how he's going to relate to the NFL-style offense. He's not running. He's not getting 40 touch downs in the NFL. It's going to be a rude awakening for him. I think there's going to be some growing pain.

[00:11:52]

But he's also a grinder, and he also put up those numbers in the SEC. We have to look at the positive. It's not like he was beating Miami of Ohio or- No, 100 %. No offense to Miami of Ohio, a lot of Canadians on those teams in the Mac, but he was beating up good defenses. Remember, they played Florida State right off the top, and they can put up numbers. The guy puts up numbers against everybody.

[00:12:12]

He's good. I agree with you, Cam, but even Bo Nicks broke the Oregon record for passing touch downs. It doesn't mean he's going to be good in the NFL. I think there'll be some growing pains off the hob, and I think he'll find his groove around the end of the season where it's too late, like when they're two and 10, and all of a sudden, Daniels is figuring out the NFL. It's always a rude awakening, but we'll see where we Here's the schedule, Cam. Week one at the Tampa Bay Bucaneers.

[00:12:32]

I think they can win that game.

[00:12:34]

Okay. Week two against the Giants at home.

[00:12:37]

They can win that game.

[00:12:37]

Week three at Cincinnati.

[00:12:40]

Loss.

[00:12:41]

That's his welcome to the NFL moment. Week four at Arizona.

[00:12:46]

Tough game. Loss.

[00:12:47]

Week five, Cleveland at home.

[00:12:50]

Loss.

[00:12:51]

Week six at Baltimore.

[00:12:53]

Loss.

[00:12:54]

That's a tough stretch. Week seven against Carolina and Washington.

[00:13:00]

I'm going to go loss because I have high on Carolina.

[00:13:03]

Week 8 against Chicago in Washington.

[00:13:05]

I think they win that game.

[00:13:08]

I'm surprised it's not a primetime game. One o'clock, Caleb against Jaden. Yeah, I agree. Good call. The networks are screwed up that one. All right. Okay. Week 9 at New York Giants.

[00:13:17]

The way things are going, I think we have the Giants winning two games. Win for Washington. Sorry, Giants fans.

[00:13:22]

Week 10 against Pittsburgh at home.

[00:13:24]

Loss.

[00:13:25]

Week 11 at Philly.

[00:13:28]

Loss, but they play the Eagles tough.

[00:13:30]

Yeah, at Philly is a tough place to go. Yeah, I know. It is. Loss. Week 12 against Dallas Cowboys in Washington.

[00:13:35]

Win.

[00:13:36]

Wow. Okay. Week 13 against Tennessee in Washington.

[00:13:40]

Loss.

[00:13:41]

Week 15 at New Orleans.

[00:13:43]

Win.

[00:13:44]

Week 16 against Philly in Washington.

[00:13:47]

When?

[00:13:48]

Week 17 against Atlanta in Washington.

[00:13:52]

Loss.

[00:13:53]

Week 18 at Dallas.

[00:13:56]

Loss.

[00:13:57]

So I got seven for them. You got seven and 10.

[00:13:58]

So right on the number- I think they're I'm actually going to win in the schedule. I actually was mean to them. I think they can win eight games.

[00:14:03]

Yeah, they have the last play schedule, so it's easier. But yeah, I agree. I think it's right around that number, so I will not be betting this total.

[00:14:09]

I think I will. I think I'm going to do a small play on one. If I can get a five and a half with juice, I don't even care. I think that's the answer.

[00:14:16]

Five and a half minus 250.

[00:14:17]

It's a parlay. You do with those, Drew. We will talk about this on the preseason show, parlay things, like fun little things, like a couple of games under. That's when you can do, hey, you don't have to do just alt lines to make it crazy. You can do alt lines to be safe, too. There's two ways to look at alt lines, right?

[00:14:34]

I think the safer play for them is going under seven and a half minus 200. No?

[00:14:38]

I don't know. I'd rather go the other way.

[00:14:41]

You like cheering for success, not the other.

[00:14:43]

I got a soft spot in my heart for these commies. I want them to do good. The teams in the division, they're the team I want to do well.

[00:14:50]

Fair. I just think it's going to be a little bit of a rebuild year for Washington to revamp their whole team in the roster with Dan Quinn as head coach. I think they might see some growing pain, so I won't be bad in this I think they finish right around the number, like you said, seven and 10. Sounds about right. So I will be avoiding them. Do you think they have any chance of the division, Cam?

[00:15:07]

No. I think Philadelphia, Drew, will win the division.

[00:15:10]

I'll save that for the end of the show, Cam. No, but you just asked me a question. I said, do you think Washington has a chance.

[00:15:16]

I didn't say who's your winner. No, they don't have a chance to win the damn division, do they? And if they do, I guess, okay, here's the deal.

[00:15:21]

I'm seeing some people on the media, Cam, pick Washington.

[00:15:23]

Here's the deal. I said, if Dallas wins 14, you're taking me out. If Washington wins the division, you're adding to it. You owe me from last year.

[00:15:31]

All right.

[00:15:32]

Fine. Let's mark all these side bets down, too. I got to get my side bet book. Make sure I put it in writing.

[00:15:38]

Moving on to the Philadelphia Eagles, who were 11 and 6 last year after starting 10 and 1. They went down the stretch one and six after that San Fran game. Thibault came out and said, We showed the world how to beat the Philadelphia Eagles. And apparently they did because they absolutely stunk up the show to the end of the season, Cam. They lost the Tampa Bay Bucaneers in the playoffs. It was a shit show. They quit. They did quit. But I think that's the reason I thought nick was going to get fired because he lost the locker room. The fact he's coming back, Cam, I know they had at Saquan. I just don't like the vibe around this team. Am I wrong to say that?

[00:16:08]

No, you're not wrong to say it at all, Drew. You say a lot of intelligent things. But the thing is, I think Jalen Hertz was hurt very badly. And instead of fighting through it like a man, he acted like weak. Let's just say the opposite of a hockey player that wants to get things done. He pulled the weak card. I think he was like, Oh, I'm hurt. He could have battled through it. I don't think he did. I think a lot of guys in the other team were pissed. But I'm telling you, they're going to have a whole different attitude heading into this season because he understands, I'm going to have to grind through this stuff. It was a bad year. It needed to be better. They will be better.

[00:16:42]

To me on paper, this team, they improved a lot of spots, Cam. They had They did. They had Mitchell in the first round, they had Devon White, they had Zack Bond. They had Cooper Dujine, they had Hunt, they had Hassan Redik on the edge. They added so many pieces to improve their team overall. They lost the pieces on the offensive line, obviously, with Kelsey retiring. Cam, this team, to me, has the biggest range of outcomes out of team in the NFL. I could see them going 6 and 11. I could also see them going 13 and 4. I don't know.

[00:17:05]

That's fair, Drew. That's fair. But I don't know. Not 6 and 11. But I can see them like, you want to talk about a team that can win 13 games, Philadelphia?

[00:17:12]

I don't think they're winning 6. That's what I'm saying. Their ceiling is way up here, but Their floor camp, if things go wrong, if Seriani lose the locker room, Jelenert starts stuck, and they could lose a lot of football games.

[00:17:20]

That's the thing. They seem like, to me, with all the stars that they have, fragile mentally. So they're going to have to be stronger in their heads to go, You know what? There's an ebb and flow to the season. We can't quit. That's the one problem I have with the Eagles is I didn't like their resolve. There's no way they're not better than the Tampa Bay Bucaneers, and they just threw that... They gassed that game. It was a joke.

[00:17:43]

It was a joke. What do you think of Kelen Moore being their new OC? I know he didn't have success in LA.

[00:17:47]

I think Kelen Moore is overrated, to be honest with you. I think the players are going to- I mean, he made Herbert look like shit. That's the thing. I got to be honest with you. What's Kelen Moore doing? That guy fucking... You know what? That's another fucking thing. This guy relies on his name What did Kelen More do? Kelen More, Dallas. You know what? Really? Why is he better than everybody? Is he the best coordinator in your opinion? No. No. Absolutely not.

[00:18:10]

People think because... And he's a pass first coordinator, which I think hurts the Eagles because they should be running the football down everyone's throat. They have Jalen Hertz, a mobile quarterback. If they just like, Hey, we want Hertz in the shotgun throwing the ball a bunch, that's bad recipe for success in Philadelphia. So I think he's got to revamp this because what he did in LA with Herbert, I know it's mostly Staley. Get back to your ways. I don't know, Cam. I don't know what this team is going to do.

[00:18:31]

You know what it is, Drew? They could do so many things. And if I was Philadelphia, if me and you were coordinators, know what I would do? I'd come out gunslinging and have the pass set up a run because they think- Oh, Cam.

[00:18:41]

That's every goddamn play. Yes, yes, yes. They call Barkley, play action. You got your two beast on the outside. It's so easy. They're tight.

[00:18:47]

They got great players everywhere. So what you do, you just throw, throw, throw. And then all of a sudden, you wear them down, and then Barkley comes in there, pound, pound, pound. You do the opposite. Most teams, the Seahawks will set up run for pass, which is very obvious. Philadelphia should do the opposite, and it'll work for them. That's my take.

[00:19:04]

Yeah. And I think with Ajay Brown, Devante Smith, you have two of the... Probably one of the best receiving cores in the league or top two, at least. All right, Cam. So I think they're going to go right around their win total. What is it? Nine and a half? Ten and a half minus 140. I think they're either a nine-win team or an eleven-win team. So I won't be betting this total because I think they're right around there. What about you?

[00:19:23]

I'm going to go over, Drew. I think they win eleven games.

[00:19:26]

Okay. But so you won't be betting this then, because that's ten and a half. If you think it's eleven, that's I actually think they might win 12 or 13 in that division. All right. Well, let's see. Let's go through the schedule, Cam, because I think you might change your mind come schedule release. Okay. Week one against Green Bay.

[00:19:40]

Where?

[00:19:41]

In Philly. When? Okay. Week two against Atlanta in Philly. When? Week 3 at New Orleans. Win. Week 4 at Tampa. Rematch. Win. Week 5 by. Week 6 against Cleveland in Philly. Loss. Week 7 at New York Giants. When? When. Week 8 at Cincinnati.

[00:20:03]

Loss.

[00:20:04]

Week 9 against Jacksonville in Philly. Win. Week 10 at Dallas.

[00:20:11]

Win.

[00:20:12]

Week 11 against Washington in Philly. When. Week 12 at LA Rams.

[00:20:19]

Loss.

[00:20:20]

Week 13 at Baltimore Ravens.

[00:20:22]

Loss.

[00:20:23]

Week 14 against Carolina at home. When. Week 15 against Pittsburgh at home. Battle of Pennsylvania.

[00:20:31]

When?

[00:20:31]

I wouldn't give them that one, but that's- It's tough.

[00:20:34]

You're right. I'm playing the damn game. You're the one setting me up.

[00:20:37]

Week 16 at Washington.

[00:20:39]

Loss.

[00:20:40]

Okay. Week 17 against Dallas at home.

[00:20:43]

I can't have them sweep So loss.

[00:20:46]

Okay. And then week 18 against the Giants at home. When?

[00:20:49]

Was that 11 or 20? Ten.

[00:20:51]

You gave them 10. You gave them 10. Yeah.

[00:20:54]

I thought I gave them 11.

[00:20:55]

No, you gave them 10. So that means you like them.

[00:20:58]

I'm not betting it then. Okay. I think your math is wrong, and I think we should do this again, but we'll- I just did it.

[00:21:04]

I have it marked down. I'm doing a tick every time you said win.

[00:21:05]

I think it was 11. Drew was counting on my fingers, but okay. He told me not to do that, but I'm doing it anyway.

[00:21:12]

Regardless, if it was 10 or 11, Cam, it's right on the numbers, so I don't think it's a safe bet.

[00:21:16]

It's a tough bet.

[00:21:17]

Yeah. The division odds, Cam, they're the favorites at minus 140.

[00:21:22]

That is a great number, in my opinion. And I know you're going to think I'm nuts, why? You want to bet the Cowboys to win the division?

[00:21:26]

I do at plus 165. I think they're the better football team.

[00:21:29]

No, We'll make 40 cents with the Eagles all day, all night.

[00:21:33]

Fair, fair, Cam. I think they're both so close to each other that give me the one with the plus money. If Philly was plus money, I'd probably like that bet. You know what?

[00:21:39]

Actually, we're going to play a game. Give me a spread. So how many wins do you think Dallas How many of you have Dallas has?

[00:21:47]

Twelve.

[00:21:49]

Okay. So how about we... How about we just bet on the division? I have Philly, you have Dallas.

[00:21:54]

Yeah, I was going to say, why are we making it?

[00:21:56]

And I know what, though, I will be fair because I'm not a jerk. I'll give you the fucking plus money, too. So whatever we do, you get extra.

[00:22:01]

No, I want it straight up. I think Dallas finishes with more wins than Philly.

[00:22:05]

Straight up. No, if it's 30 wings, you get 36 because they're plus whatever it is. And I get 24 out of like what.

[00:22:10]

I don't want no plus money. I think they're better straight up, so I don't need it. That's what I'm saying.

[00:22:13]

You're giving me Pick him.

[00:22:15]

Okay. Yeah. He's giving you pick him. Nice guy. All right, Cam. The New York Giants. They were 6-11 last year. They had Malik Nabal in the first round. They had an absolute disaster at the quarterback position. So you can't really judge them based on last year. They went two and three with Tyrod Taylor, three and three with Tommy DeVito, one and five Daniel Jones. Statistically, Taylor was better than DeVito, and DeVito was better than Jones. Jones is the worst of the three quarterbacks, weirdly. But they added Brian Burns, huge trade. That improves their defensive line right away. They downgraded from Saquon to Devon Singletary. Singletary has worked with Dable before, so it may not be as big of a downgrade as people think. They had Malik Nabors, so they finally have the number one receiver to go along with Jalen Hyatt on the outside. Kam, this team, Jekyll and Hyde. I do like Daniel- There's a lot of potential at the receiver position. I do like Daniel Jones, Kam, but he just doesn't perform. Perform. But he finally has a number one receiver. He's never had the weapons. So this is do or die for Daniel Jones this season, right?

[00:23:07]

Yeah, it is. This is really the end. If he performs badly, he's done. I think a lot of people don't like him. I don't think it's all his fault. The thing about Daniel Jones is he's really athletic. When he's in the open field, he runs like a horse.

[00:23:22]

The issue is Dable uses him like he's Josh Allen, but he doesn't have the arm like Josh Allen. So that's where it's like, oh, wait, this isn't actually He's thinking- You want to talk about a team that is a mystery to me as a Giants?

[00:23:33]

I think they can win four games, or I think they might surprise and go over.

[00:23:36]

Well, yeah, they were in the play-ups two years ago.

[00:23:38]

That's what people forget. They got problems, man. It's all about getting Jones time to find Hyatt and the receivers, and if they can get some- Their O-line was so bad last year.

[00:23:48]

And if you watch Hard Knocks, Joe Sheen, he's like, Yeah, we got to improve the O-line. They didn't add any offensive linement. They're like, What the hell are you doing? He even says on the show, I'm the GM of the Giants. We need to improve the offensive line. And then he doesn't improve it.

[00:24:00]

The best is when the motors come in, they're like, Saquon Barkley is our most important player. He's gone. He's gone to the Eagles. He goes, Yeah, John Mare. He goes, Yeah, John Marry. He'd go anywhere but Philadelphia. John, he's in Philadelphia. Click. Okay.

[00:24:12]

Parties over. John Marry is like, It really hurts if I see him go to Philadelphia.

[00:24:15]

I think the Giants are a train wreck, actually.

[00:24:18]

To be fair, they did add a new left guard in Runian, so they did improve their offensive line a little bit. But, Cam, their over-under is six and a half. It's plus 120 to the over, minus 150 to the under. I think It's a good number. I think they could be a seven.

[00:24:31]

I think they win probably six, five or six.

[00:24:33]

Yeah, I think they're around there as well. Here's a theory I see online now. If the Giants have a losing season again, they fire Dable. Dable goes back to Buffalo with Buffalo's revamped offseason, and Buffalo is way more improved next year. I don't think it'll happen because I think McDermon and Dable hate each other. I think if anything, McDermon gets fired and Dable takes over if they both get fired.

[00:24:50]

Do you want that? I'd rather McDermon than Dable.

[00:24:53]

I can't.

[00:24:54]

I don't know.

[00:24:55]

I don't want McDermon anymore. This guy sucks. I don't want McDermon anymore in Buffalo. He sucks.

[00:24:58]

Yeah, well, Dable See, this is what we talk about in hockey.

[00:25:02]

I wanted an offensive coach, Cam. I'm sick of defensive guys.

[00:25:04]

Those guys work at the recycling plant. They're recycled guys. How about somebody new? Can we get somebody new? God, man.

[00:25:11]

Eric Bellamy? Eric Bellamy?

[00:25:13]

Yeah, I know.

[00:25:14]

What did I say Bellamy?

[00:25:15]

Eric Bellamy, but that's okay. We talk about hockey being a problem with all these retreads and tools that just keep on coming back. Football is just the same. It's a boys club. How does Nate Hackett get work?

[00:25:28]

I will say O-C's and DC's do get promoted a lot more. They just go back to their old positions after the fact. But yeah, okay, Cam, let's get into the New York Giants schedule. We both probably not betting this number, but we'll see. Week one against the Vikings at home. Loss. Week two at Washington.

[00:25:45]

Loss.

[00:25:46]

Week three at Cleveland.

[00:25:47]

Loss.

[00:25:48]

Week 4 against Dallas at home.

[00:25:51]

Loss.

[00:25:52]

Week 5 at Seattle. Does Cam finally give the Seahawks away?

[00:25:55]

No, I'm going to give the Seahawks a win. Giants start 0-5.

[00:25:59]

Wait, so you're giving Seattle the win?

[00:26:00]

Yes, I'm giving Seattle the win.

[00:26:02]

Week 6 against Cincinnati in New York.

[00:26:05]

Loss.

[00:26:05]

This is- Week 7 against Billy in New York.

[00:26:09]

They got to win one of these games.

[00:26:11]

I don't know, Cam.

[00:26:12]

Loss. I'm just going off top of my head. They start- Week 8 at Pittsburgh. They'll start 1 and 6, not 0 and 7. This schedule is hard, man.

[00:26:19]

Week 8 at Pittsburgh.

[00:26:21]

Loss.

[00:26:22]

So they're 0 and 8 right now. Week 9 against Washington at home.

[00:26:25]

Okay, I'll give them that.

[00:26:26]

Okay. Week 10 against Carolina at home.

[00:26:29]

Okay, I'll give them another one.

[00:26:31]

Week 11, bye. Week 12 against Tampa Bay at home.

[00:26:34]

Loss.

[00:26:35]

Week 13 at Dallas.

[00:26:39]

Loss.

[00:26:40]

Week 14 against New Orleans and New York. Win. Week Week 16 at Baltimore. Loss. Week 16 at Atlanta.

[00:26:50]

They're going to steal the game. It's a win. Four.

[00:26:52]

Okay. Week 17 against Indianapolis in New York.

[00:26:56]

Loss.

[00:26:57]

Week 18 at Philly to end the season.

[00:27:00]

I got them winning four or five games, Drew.

[00:27:02]

You got them winning four games.

[00:27:03]

Four and- I was going to give them one more, but yeah, four to five is my number now.

[00:27:07]

Cam, you gave them four, and you were being generous. They might not win that fourth game that you gave them.

[00:27:12]

So what do you think then? I have to bet them under. There's no...

[00:27:15]

How does this team- I was leaning on the line, six or seven wins. But after looking at that schedule, they might win three football games.

[00:27:21]

The NFL is weird. They'll steal a game, but they'll also lose a lot of... Okay, let's just say this. Their best case scenario, best. If they have do really well is probably six. I'm thinking six or seven. Seven would be a miracle. What's your goal? Six and a half?

[00:27:35]

My thing is, they could start... Realistic, if they're the Giants for two years, they're going to start- They're going to start one and seven.

[00:27:43]

What games do they win? You tell me Okay, you look at the schedule, what games do they win?

[00:27:46]

I think they can beat Minnesota week one.

[00:27:47]

I agree with that, but I still think Minnesota is getting no respect, and we like Minnesota.

[00:27:52]

I agree. I'm just saying I think they could win that game. That's a potential win. They could beat Washington, both of those games. They could beat- That's not They're not beating Washington. I don't think they're going to. I'm giving you the games that they could win. So they could beat Washington, they could beat Minnesota, they could beat Seattle, they could beat Carolina, they could beat Saints, and I think they could beat the Colts in Atlanta. So that's seven, right? What's that? Five? That's seven. That's best case scenario, seven.

[00:28:17]

So we got to bet them under then. That's best case scenario. I'm taking the Giants under. I think they went five. I had them for four, but I'll give them five because it was pretty unfair.

[00:28:26]

Cam, the under five and a half is plus 180.

[00:28:30]

Just give me the under six and a half. I'm just saying- Stop peddling your wearers with me. I'm just teasing you. I'm not asking you. It's like you work at the Pawn Shop. Okay, I got it, Drew.

[00:28:39]

I know, you got deals. I'm going to have some crazy alt-align parlays. And then when one of them hits, I'm going to be like, See cam? I told you.

[00:28:45]

When one hits, I'd actually like you to show me, and I'll start doing more of them.

[00:28:50]

All right, fair enough. All right, so let's get to our division winners at the end of the show. I think we've already revealed you like the Philadelphia eagles, like the Dallas Cowboys.

[00:28:56]

And we have a side bet. Yes. We got Cowboys, I got eagles to win the division. No juice.

[00:29:00]

Is there any... Okay, map it out for me. How in the world do the Giants win this division at 14 to one? What has to happen for that to happen?

[00:29:08]

Jalen Hertz has to break his leg. The Dallas Cowboys direct Dak Prescott has to get murdered and be out for the season. Washington, Jade and Daniels will get tackled and hit a fence. Honestly, basically every starting quarterback has to get hurt, and Daniel Jones finds himself like the old Bruce Jenner before he came a woman and just runs everywhere.

[00:29:30]

Oh, man. Okay, so- Is that wrong?

[00:29:32]

Sorry. I'm sorry. He basically has to be athletic. That was a horrible joke.

[00:29:38]

Okay, so what do you think of Malik neighbors, Cam?

[00:29:40]

He's going- I like neighbors. You like neighbors? But the problem is, you're not going to have any neighbors if you don't get the damn ball. It's basically the ball is the food. And no neighbors are going to want to come over for your barbecue when you're not... You know what? Daniel Jones might be serving up tofu when we want meat.

[00:29:56]

So you think it could be DeVito time again?

[00:29:58]

No, it's going to be DeVito I just think the Giants, if they don't protect Jones, they will win four to five games.

[00:30:07]

Tops. Tops.

[00:30:08]

I have to bet the underman.

[00:30:09]

Even if they're protecting them, they might win five wins.

[00:30:11]

I'm telling you, man, that total is too high. Maybe I'm just not seeing anything. Are we missing anything with this game?

[00:30:16]

I think you're just not believing what we saw from the Giants two years ago when they won the division.

[00:30:20]

I'm not, because they look like they're just not that good.

[00:30:22]

Or when they made the play, they didn't win the division.

[00:30:24]

They have good receivers, but a guy that won't get them the ball because he doesn't get enough time to get them the ball. They have a running game that is not the same as it was before. They have a couple of guys on defense that I like. I like Thibodeau. I like a couple of other guys.

[00:30:35]

Ryan Burns is very good passer.

[00:30:36]

Burns is good, too. I'll agree with you. Yes, he is. But that's not the whole team.

[00:30:41]

It's true.

[00:30:42]

I don't know, Drew. I got to be honest with you. I'm thinking five or six, and I'm going under.

[00:30:47]

Yeah, I don't see any path for them to win the division. I don't see a path for Washington to win the division. I think it's between Dallas and Philly, like we both think. So we'll see. How about us?

[00:30:54]

Who do you like more? Washington or Giants? Win total. I like Washington.

[00:30:58]

I'm not betting either. I like the Giants under more than the Washington under.

[00:31:03]

Good. Well, that was the bet to you. I wanted to see if you'd accept, but you're not accepting.

[00:31:07]

Okay. Well, no, we already have enough bets, Ken. We already have a Philly and Dallas.

[00:31:10]

We have one bet.

[00:31:12]

Yes. All right. Well, that does it for the East preview. Please let us know in the comments down below what you think the Stanings are going to finish.

[00:31:17]

All the comments going, by the way, with the last stuff we did when we said Tennessee. I bet there's a lot of people- People were like, Oh, you guys love the bills.

[00:31:25]

You guys are idiots, blah, blah, blah, like in the AFC East preview. I was like, Yeah, whatever. One of them was calling me out for just like you picked the leaves to win in the play. I was like, what? I never fucking picked the leaves to win with that.

[00:31:34]

Actually, he didn't. I will defend him. He did not have the leaves.

[00:31:37]

I would never do that.

[00:31:39]

We have Dallas stars and somebody else going far.

[00:31:42]

I did call Florida a fraud. I did call Florida a fraud. I'll admit that. I was wrong. We all make mistakes. Yes, exactly. All right. That does it for NFC's preview. Please click like, please click subscribe. Please rate and review on all audio platforms. Let us know in the comments how you think this division pans out. Is Philly going to win it? Is Dallas going to win it? Is there going to be a surprise in Washington or New York? We'll see.

[00:32:00]

Is that an eagle or a crow or a raven? I don't know.

[00:32:05]

They're all the same, Cam. They are.

[00:32:07]

All my birds suck.

[00:32:09]
