All right, well, we're going to recap our week 16 picks and make our few changes that we have to make. We do have a few to make, unlike two weeks ago when we made no changes. We're going to give you our props. Then we're going to break down our favorite Christmas movies heading into the holiday season since this will air on the 23 first and you won't see us again until after Christmas day. And we'll also make a Christmas day parlay of touchdowns for everybody to celebrate so we can all celebrate and win some money on Christmas day together. All right, Cam, so let's get right into our changes for the week. We're staying on the Rams tonight against the Saints. I know you're a bit worried because the public money is all coming in on the Rams and the lines moving weird, but I just think personally, the Rams are a better football team. Stafford's playing out of his mind right now and everything's setting up for Detroit. Lions versus La Rams, round one. And I mean, that would be amazing, Cam, if Stafford goes to the home that he built and has to eliminate the Lions in the playoffs, who would you pick in that game?

Sorry, what game would I pick, sir?

If it was the Rams going to Detroit in the playoffs, Stafford against his former posse.

I would take Detroit if it's in Detroit. If it was in LA. I don't know, man. The Rams are playing really good football right now. I know Williams is running the ball, the defense is better. But one thing about the Lions is I just don't think the Rams could keep up with points if they find a way to stop the run, which they like. I know the Rams defense is better, but you saw what the Lions do when they're on point. Like when they're all playing, they can murder teams. So my pick is the Lions. But it wouldn't be easy.

No, it would not be easy. All right, let's get into our first switch of the week. Cam, one that you will be making, but I will not be making. You're going to switch off the Green Bay packers to your Carolina Panthers, who have let you down, what, eight out of ten times this season. So explain why you're making that switch.

Okay, here's the deal. Just looking at Denver and I'm trying to think, do I think Denver is going to win the game? Probably with teasers, but the Patriots have been playing better. They played Kansas City pretty close. They beat up.

What are you talking about? We're talking about the Panthers game.

Oh, Panthers. Okay. Wow. Jeez. Sorry.

I'm like, what the hell is he going on about?

Maybe I should have stayed in bed. I text, you, go, I'm up now. Am I really up? Like, I got cobwebs. Here's the deal. I love the Panthers. What has Green Bay done, Drew, since they had this easy schedule and had to get in the playoffs? They've gagged. They've gagged, right. And now I got to lay points. Here's the thing about the Panthers. They're starting to play better. And defensively, that's where I think they can win the game. Literally. If the Panthers score 13 points in this game, I don't know if Green Bay can get more than 17. And we're getting a lot of points here. So you know what? I've been with this team the whole year and it's been my demise. But, Drew, we were both on them when they won outright and we took them against Houston. Remember, this team beat the Houston Texans earlier on in the year and we.

Were on the last week against Atlanta.

Asking Green Bay to win by margin I think is troubling. And I know a lot of people are going to say I'm an whatever. Like, we've taken some crazy picks that have won this year and this goes in the crazy category, Drew. So gimme the Panthers Paul Panther is back, ready to claw the cheese.

I'm in disagreement, Cam, because I'm still in the packers. And the packers were your bronze on Tuesday. So anyone that watches just the Tuesday.

Show and not you just saw that two minutes ago. I'm in orbit. So they're going to be like, what? I'm doing?

What the hell? Cam, 48 hours ago you loved the packers as your third best pick of the week and now you're switching off them.

Could I make a point to the people? I usually wait till I'm going to be honest. Saturday I do a show from four to eight on sports grid. I usually put bets in there right after that show. And Sunday, Drew, what we do, I'll make more like double clicking if I like it even more on Sunday. I don't like making bets early, but we need every show we do.

If I see a line that I really love though, Cam, that gets locked in on Tuesday, sometimes the early spreads.

You're right, Drew. There's been a couple like, remember when we took the jets at twelve and a half and it lost? I locked that one in real early and now I'm like, don't lock in stuff as early because bad things happen.

But I still don't regret making that bet, Cam, despite how that game went. But when the, when the line goes four points the other way, usually you're pretty happy that you got the twelve and a half when it closes at eight and a half. But all right, you're switching off the packers to the Panthers. That means we got to bring a mystery tiebreaker man for this one. Where do you think he ended up on that game?

Be honest, and I'm going to be honest with you, I don't like going against you. I like when we win together. I like when we hit parlays together. But I just thought about this more and more, Drew, and I don't like to let people influence my bet, but I had a lot of really good cappers on many different shows that I've done this week. And the more I think, think about it. And we were talking about New England's defense and Denver and Russell Wilson just dumping the ball off. They kind of got exposed against Detroit. I know they've been playing better, but New England's one of these teams that I think they hang. I think they lose this game by, like three or four, and that number is a little bit too high for me. So I'm going to take Denver, but New England, I do think Denver wins the game, but I think New England covers. So I'd feel safer in a teaser with the Broncos. But I'm telling you, Drew, they played pretty good. New England did against Kansas City. They beat Pittsburgh. They've been better. Can we just say they've been better?

Like, they're not great. They're not a good football team. But now we're asking Denver, a team that can be offensively challenged sometimes to cover by a lot.

Yeah, I just think, what do they have to get to cover this number? 20. What's the Patriots max points in this game? 13.

I'd say 16 for me. 16 to 17. I don't think Denver gets 23.

Okay. Fair enough. So, yeah, I think we're in disagreement. That happens. So mystery tribe man once again has to come in on this one. Which side do you think he's on?

Look what I did. I got teams wrong. When you asked me what game we were talking about. We're both a little slow.

I'm going to the Chiefs, Cam. I didn't like the big spread because the Raiders like to keep these games close, but everyone is like, they're a public dog. I don't like betting public dogs. Public dogs on the road in the arrowhead, Cam, division. Public dogs. It grosses me out. So I'm switching off them to the Chiefs. Give me the Chiefs minus ten. I think they can win this game by 17 plus. So, I mean, I have to take them.

One thing is, I know Kansas City. There's a lot of negativity around this team, right? You've seen Mahomes whine and cry the last couple of weeks. Tony's on. Like, this guy's one drop pass away from, like, you know what I mean? This guy's like, I don't even know. He wakes up and he's scared. Like, here's the alarm clock. He's jumping out of bed. Yeah. Things are not going well for him, but Kansas City, remember the last time they played the Raiders? I'll remember. The Raiders jumped out to a 14 nothing lead, punched him in the face, and Kansas City still covered, and that's when they didn't have turmoil. Andy Reid. These guys kind of need a signature win against a hated rival, and I think they beat them by 20.

And their path for the one seed still open, cam, which disgusts me because I don't want them to get the one seed. But, I mean, all they need is Baltimore to lose one game against San Fran or Miami. And we both know what Miami could.

Lose to Dallas, and San Fran is probably going to beat Baltimore. So Kansas City needs to. They don't have to win by ten, but they got to win the game. But I love the switch, drew, and if it's wrong, I'm sorry. By the way, I paid you in crown Royal because I pay debts. Does Aaron Rogers. Active stuff. The Packers. Because I'm on Carolina and I'll probably live to regret that pick. But I've been a panther all year, Drew. Carolina Blue, not Christmas. I'm the Grinch. Boo earns. But I will say I love Minnesota in this spot. We were on Detroit as one of our mineral picks last week for many reasons. They were getting killed in the media they needed to play better defense and what did they do to Denver? They put them, absolutely annihilated them, put them in a chokehold and killed them. But now Minnesota has two games against these guys still alive and they're at home. Very good home field advantage. The fans in Minnesota, they like to get goonered at be. I'm going to hear so much skull like, so many horns, and I know it's indoors, but Goff is going to lose his mind in this game. I think Minnesota wins, so I will take the Vikings in the spot.

You think Vikings went outright, eh, yeah.

No, I would have taken. I just like the spot for the Vikings. The Niners. I've had a lot of people I respect tell me the Baltimore Ravens are the side. I'm not switching this. I'm sticking by my guns. I think the 49 ers are the best. I think every time they play a team that thinks they can compete, they win. If Baltimore covers, I'll admit I'm wrong and I'll give them all the credit in the world. Baltimore is talking about being disrespected with the line and stuff like that. San Francisco doesn't give a shit if they actually want to play like an a plus game. Like Baltimore is going to get killed in this game, as we've talked about before, and Pittsburgh, I think Mason Rudolph is an upgrade for Mitchell Trubisky.

Yeah, we both agreed on the Steelers and the 49 ers camp. Both of them are in our minerals. We both love the 49 ers. Our gold. Seen some comments out there saying that we're crazy for thinking so. But you know what? Come Christmas day, we'll see. I know Lamar and tour is playing great, but they haven't run to the buzsaw that is the San Fran 49 ers just yet. And the 49 ers when they're fully healthy. Cam, I don't think there's a better team in football. It's as simple as that for me. I don't know if I like the Vikings. I'm on the other side, so I'm on the other side of a lot of your switches today, but we'll see. I mean, maybe it works out. I got to catch up to you somehow, so maybe it works out for me. All right.

How do you do to originally build them a bit, but once they're built, it's just editing.

Once they're built, you're just inserting an extra. When I worked at Sportsnet in the control room, I did like, the boards. Back in the day, they used to have boards like Carlos Delgado, three for four, home Runway. And it was like a button, so you'd have a sheet and go, 9702 hit. Like, each game had.

Yeah. Drew, just reading each other's mail like we do, even though you're liking the Chargers. And by the way, switching that bet, people are like, you're such an idiot. I do videos for other companies. I'm like, bills by 17. Like, bills by ten. I'm thinking about Drew, but the thing is, these are on Monday. He's been over that in three of his last four games. Goff loves to check it down to his tight ends. Cam and I think this is going to be a big tight end day in that bowl game. Both Hawkinson and LaPorta going nuts.

Good call, Drew. I got two more and I'll wrap it up right now. I forgot one. We've talked about Pittsburgh and I think Mason Rudolph wants to keep things very simple as well. He'll get the receivers involved because Trubisky didn't. But Warren out of the backfield at plus 160. Warren, I like all of his props guys and for an anytime touchdown, that is a great number. At plus 160. I think it'll be bet down to like 140 by game time. Get it while it's hot. And Gibbs for Detroit as well. I think it's him or Montgomery. I'm going to go with Gibbs because I don't have to lay juice. Montgomery is always like -140 and stuff like that.

Did you see with that block that George Pickens didn't make for Jalen Warren on that?

I'm going to bring up some crazy movies from the past, from my childhood for people, and I really think you should watch them, because things have really changed in the world. Did you see that? Claymation now is going out of style because the clay that they used to make it is no longer available around the world. So Wallace and Grommet coming out this year is like the last Claymation movie we're ever going to see in our lives.

Drew, I'm going to tell you something. I love you. I love Claymation, and I can't believe a tease for whatever. I have something in the three hole that is very clay like.

All right, so my number four cam is elf with Will Ferrell. I know a lot of people are.

Like, oh, my God, number four.

That's one of the best movies ever. I like it. I enjoy it. But it's number four. It doesn't beat the top three for me.

You know me, I like hijinks and stuff like that. But I'm also going to put some nice, like, you have a family. As I wait for my girlfriend to come from her frozen place and as I sleep alone in my big bed hoping to hit 250, I have no.

When they're fighting Sinbad, remember stand up? He's like, I gotta get the fuck out of here and place the blackjack and slot. See, everybody? Apparently, his Vegas stand up is, like, totally opposite to his pg stuff. Amazing. Drew, anything with Schwarzenegger at Christmas. Good play. My gold is bad Santa. I've told you all the time, it's one of my favorite. Fuck me, Santa. Fuck me, Santa. Fuck me, Santa. It's great. The lady in sandwiches and Thurman Merman just sitting there. Hey, you want some sandwiches? It's just classic. And I love Billy Bob Thornton beating up kids.

I will say bad Santa, too, was a letdown, though. It wasn't as good as the first one.

Yeah, but the thing is, it's hard after bad Santa Drew. Like, at least they tried.

It was so weird to see Thurman grown up. And he was like, whoa, this kid's a giant. He's an adult. Same hairstyle and everything.

And I was like, great perm. He's got a great lid.

Number one is home alone. I think it's one of the greatest movies ever made. It's probably the best Christmas movie ever made. Anytime I see it on tv, I have to watch it. I'm a sucker for little Macaulay Culkin, I guess. I don't know.

You don't want to see him as an adult. It's not the same.

No, I think that was in the past. He just got his star in the hot walk of fame, Cam. He's back to his for him. He married the girl from, what was it? The sweet life of Zach and Cody. Ever seen that?

Sometimes I get lazy and buy the instant potatoes I just bought the Yukon golds. I'm going to peel potatoes all day.

Idahoan. But I will say this, drew, making mashed potatoes is a long, tedious process. And if you're anybody that does it, dude, you're peeling all day. You're boiling, you're draining cream butter, and there's never enough.

My wife's always like, that's enough. I'm like, hey, we're going to do two bags of potatoes because there's a lot of people, and I hate being that people who's like, oh, only take.

A little bit of potatoes are not enough. I'm like, no, you should be able.

To get heaping tablespoon of friggin potatoes in my plate.

I'm going to take 5 hours slaving over dinner, you know what I mean? And making it. I am making so many damn potatoes. You're going to be like, I'm with you.

And leftovers are amazing. I hate where it's like, oh, you have just enough food to feed five people with five servings. No, I want you to take as much as you want, and there'll still be leftovers.

That's what I like about you, Drew. I used to go to people's house or give me, like, a little mini ziploc kigs bag with, like, a slice of turkey. I can't even get a sandwich out of it. It's giving me boxes of food. I want my fridge so full, it's busting at the nuts, and I got gravy. And I'm eating this stuff for, like, another week, you know?

Agree? I agree, cam. And yeah, I'm a big Yorkshire pudding. Scallop potatoes, mashed potatoes, corn.

Yorkshire pudding is. If you don't have Yorkshire pudding. To our friends in the, basically, it's a croissant on steroids.

One thing I am making this year, Cam, first time ever I've ever made this. I'm making this here sweet potato pie. I found a recipe. I'm going to do it. I know people are more of a pecan a hot dish. It's weird, but do you like pecan pie? I love pecan pie, but Swato pie is not really a dessert.

It's like, I remember you called pumpkin pie a loser.

That's my girlfriend's favorite.

Yeah, the texture feels like a baby shit in my mouth. I don't like it.
