American space exploration looks different these days. The Odyssius, certainly different from Apollo 11. That's the command module of the spacecraft that took man to the moon in 1969. The Odyssius is unmanned, for starters, and smaller. It's about the size of a British telephone box. This is the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. There is the suit worn by Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the moon. Things will be different with regard to the odyssians. On board are 12 payloads, instruments, research material, looking into things like lunar dust, conducting astronomical research. There is artwork on board, all channeling the spirit of Neil Armstrong and space exploration, in an effort to learn more about the planet that is our closest neighbor.
