Draftkings Network.

[00:00:12]

Welcome to The Big.

[00:00:14]

Suie, presented by DraftKings.

[00:00:17]

Why are you listening to this show?

[00:00:19]

The podcast that seems very similar to the other Dan Levitard podcast. I'm sorry. I'm not going to apologize for that. In fact, the only difference seems to be this imaging.

[00:00:27]

I have been tempted in restaurants just walking past tables to grab somebody's fries if they're just there. That hasn't happened to you guys.

[00:00:35]

I've done it. And now here's the marching man to nowhere, fatface, and The Habitual Liar. Let's bring in Adam Schaefer, the trade deadline next week of the NFL. That's not what we want to talk to him about. We want his top five observations from the first couple of days of the NBA season because he is a big NBA fan. And we'll get to that in just a second. What's going on, Adam?

[00:00:57]

Stugars, how are we.

[00:00:58]

Doing today? We're doing good. We were wondering… We were discussing before you came on, gummies. Gummy bears, gummy worms, gummy golf. Are you a gummy guy?

[00:01:08]

I've never taken a gummy. I know that a lot of people in our age bracket, Stugatz, I guess a lot of people all across the country, they all love that.

[00:01:15]

I didn't mean weed. I didn't mean weed. I didn't mean weed. That's what I do. I just meant of the gummy category, which is your favorite of the candies? That's all I meant.

[00:01:24]

I'm not a big gummy guy. Candy or CPD. I probably should try. Probably it would be a nice thing to just chill out. I've heard people talk about that, but just it's not my world. Gumbies, if I'm going to eat something sweet, probably some dark chocolate.

[00:01:42]

Pretzels.

[00:01:43]

Something else. Really?

[00:01:45]

Wow.

[00:01:46]

Yeah, gummies, black and white cookies. Love that. That's outstanding. I'm just not a big gummy guy in any way.

[00:01:55]

The Unity cookie.

[00:01:56]

Excellent. Are you a big Halloween guy?

[00:01:59]

I'm a big trade deadline guy because trade deadline is not a Halloween.

[00:02:03]

Wait, have you missed trick-or-treating with your kids because you're attending to the trade deadline?

[00:02:09]

I don't even know what trick-or-treating is. What does that mean? Come on. The NFO trade deadline is right around this time every year, so I don't even know what holiday it is that you're referring to. To me, it's about as memorable as festivist. It's like you're just something that just exists in my imagination.

[00:02:26]

It's very sad, Adam.

[00:02:28]

Well, that's my existence. It's very.

[00:02:29]

Sad also. I feel like you should go on... If it's on Halloween, I feel like you'd go on and you should be dressed up. You would rock it as a vampire.

[00:02:37]

Oh, yes.

[00:02:38]

You go on and tell us what moves happen at the deadline, and there you are. You just, instead of just signing off, you just close your cloak and then just sit down in your chair or something. The fake teeth, too? Yeah.

[00:02:49]

On Halloween, I usually dress up as the guy with two phones and ear pods in my ears. That's what I usually dress up as.

[00:02:55]

It's the same outfit every day, though. Billy's trying to tell you, change it up a little bit.

[00:02:59]

It's the same outfit every day.

[00:03:01]

Yep, absolutely. All right, we know you love basketball. We know you never get to talk as much basketball as you want to talk. That's what this show is for, okay? With that said, a couple of days into the NBA season, we want your top five takeaways from the first couple of nights of the NBA season here, okay?

[00:03:18]

Number one, it'll be an.

[00:03:19]

Obvious one. Wow, we're starting number one. You're starting one? You want to go five down? You want to go five? Okay, hold on. I would go five down and save number one.

[00:03:25]

I'm riffing off the top of my head on top five. Okay, we'll go backwards. We'll go backwards. Now let me just say this that so much of the way that I think about the NBA is related to my fantasy basketball team. I live and die with it. And as I tell people over and over, I don't really drink, I don't do gummies.

[00:03:46]

I don't smoke. I didn't ask you that.

[00:03:48]

I don't do any of that. So my vice is my fantasy basketball team. So I call it like it's my five-minute cigarette break every day. I can go, Let me see what these guys are doing. And at night when I'm all done with work and texting, Let me go sit down and unwind and watch my guys. Let's see how Max Truess is doing in Cleveland. Let's see how Jaylen Johnson is doing in Atlanta. Let's go see if Walker Tessler is eight from the field, but I need him to block more shots, things like that. That's what I'm looking for. The way that I view the season is through the lens of my guys. My guys.

[00:04:22]

But.

[00:04:23]

There are a few things that stand out. We'll start at number five, Max Truess in Cleveland. That guy lit it up last night. Thank you, Chris. He was unbelievable. We need more of that. As soon as I saw it, I dumped Taley Horton-Tucker.

[00:04:38]

Teenage tape. Oh, he's terrible.

[00:04:39]

Cut him, picked up Max Truess last night, and we are looking for Max Truce to continue to roll. We don't know how related that was to Jared Allen's absence, but we want Max Drews to keep rolling. Do you know him at all of Miami's two guts?

[00:04:54]

We didn't know him, but we loved him, and we're sad to see him go.

[00:04:57]

This is a dangerous game you're playing, Adam, where opening night, you're already dropping people from your draft and picking the guy that had a hot game.

[00:05:03]

The Bulls had a players only meeting after.

[00:05:05]

Opening nights. Yeah, yeah.

[00:05:07]

We'll make that storyline number four. When you're having a player only meeting after you lose to Oklahoma City on opening night by 20, that is very disturbing and a very ominous sign about what's ahead for the Chicago Bulls. That's a bad guy.

[00:05:22]

I think what Bill is saying, though, is maybe you pulled the trigger a little bit early just from this standpoint. What if Struess goes back to being Struess and Tucker actually turns out to be good? Then you lost Tucker and you're stuck with Struce, you know what I mean?

[00:05:32]

Well, then we dropped Struess and we go pick up the next guy. That's how it works.

[00:05:36]

You go get Tucker back.

[00:05:37]

Yes. You know what, Struess? Back when I was a single guy living in Denver dating, we just cycled through our dating prospects, and now that's what we're doing. We've transferred what we used to do the way we dated to fancy basketball. That's how it is.

[00:05:53]

We get it. All right. Number four.

[00:05:56]

That.

[00:05:57]

Was number four. Number three.

[00:05:59]

The debut of Damian Lillard in Milwaukee. I think he's going to smash there. I think he's going to be unbelievable and a huge acquisition. And the fact that they could get Greek to resign, I think I'm going to guess in part because Dame Time is there. That's tremendous. The Bucks getting Lillard, Lillard are going to light it up. He's going to be unbelievable for the Bucks. That would be my number three storyline. Number two.

[00:06:25]

Storyline.

[00:06:26]

Right now would be the Boston Celtics, the talent they've accumulated, and Chris Dapps-Poizingas in the opener.

[00:06:35]

He.

[00:06:37]

Lit it up like he was unbelievable. And when you add him with Drew Holiday and Derek White looks good with the haircut. I like that. It looks very impressive. Very good looking. Good look for him. I just think the new look Celtics, that is impressive to me. The number one storyline is the storyline that really is just a continuation of last year that not enough people talk about is how good Nicola, Yokics, and the Denver Nuggets are. I don't know why people don't.

[00:07:07]

Get that. Right. Well, why do you think?

[00:07:09]

Maybe the time zone they play in, maybe the way they play, maybe the way he carries himself, he's not looking for any added attention. That guy is... The way he plays, it's so effortless. Right. Right. It's just...

[00:07:26]

It's boring. That's why. It's boring. He's great. I'm not denying that he's great, but it's a boring style of greatness.

[00:07:33]

It's another triple-double for Jogach every single night. The guy is unbelievable. Mix in.

[00:07:39]

A double-double. That's boring. Mix in a double-double. That's boring? By the.

[00:07:43]

Way, as I review the list in my mind, I didn't go into Wempingyama at all.

[00:07:49]

And that's how they have to do that. Right, yeah. So where is that? Number five?

[00:07:54]

Well, I guess Scruce is probably related to the fancy team. We'll bump everybody down, we'll put in Wempingyama. Although very interesting to me that they have Jeremy Sohan running the point there. So Wempingyama, like that guy, wow, total freak. Total freak show. He's going to be unbelievable.

[00:08:12]

Adam, are you expecting anything big to happen before the NFL trade deadline on Halloween?

[00:08:18]

Someday will happen and it'll create all new narratives. As I've said to a few people this week, I remember the year that Carson Palmer was holding out in Cincinnati, and the were playing very well, and their quarterback, Jason Campbell, on the Sunday before the trade deadline got hurt and was out for the season. When he went down, they traded for Carson and Palmer the next day. Now, nobody would have thought that Thursday before the trade deadline that Carson and Palmer would wind up with the Raiders, but that's what happened. There's one more Sunday that gets to impact and influence what happens at the trade deadline. Some teams will win, some teams will lose, some teams will lose players to injury. What happens Sunday will be the latest narrative that goes into shaping how Tuesday unfolds. We've heard a lot of the same names, and if you go back to last year, really what unfolded before the trade deadline was incredible because we saw right before the deadline, Christian McAfrey was traded, Cedarius Tony was traded, TJ Hawkinson was traded. I have a whole list, but it was one of the busier trade deadlines. In recent years, there's been a trend that has emerged where I think these younger breed of general managers are more open about dealing.

[00:09:41]

That's created an openness, and we're doing this for teams to make deals that it didn't happen back in the day. It didn't happen. While I don't know of any deals right now that are close to happening right now, I think you get a reset Sunday and we could get three, four more deals by the deadline on Tuesday. It's possible. Keep in mind, we've already seen Randy Gregory, JC Jackson, McCole Hardman, Kevin Byard. We've already seen a handful of trades, which is probably more than we've gotten in previous years before it got busy the last few years.

[00:10:16]

The deal the Eagles made to get Byard, it makes a good team. It makes them better, which is ridiculous, considering how loaded they are. But I'm wondering, is Howie Roseman the best GM in football right now?

[00:10:27]

Yeah, he's obsessed with what he does. I think he lives it, eats it, breathes it. He's always thinking of, Okay, well, who can I trade now? You just look at the guys they've gone out and gotten on discount. That's what it is, really. On draft day last year, the second day, you trade, I think it was a future four for DeAndre Swift, who now turns out to be a starter running back and replaces Miles Sanders, who gets a big money deal in Carolina. You go and trade a couple of late round picks in a player for Kevin Byard. They got AJ Brown. I know they gave up a one, but AJ Brown is a beast. That still was a discounted price. They're just always looking and scheming and planning to get somebody else that can help elevate the roster. He's done a great job. He's done a great job. He's as successful, productive in his job right now as I would say any general manager in sports.

[00:11:30]

You mentioned how obsessed.

[00:11:31]

He is. Who's the least.

[00:11:32]

Obsessed GM?

[00:11:35]

The least obsessed GM?

[00:11:37]

Yeah, who's checked out?

[00:11:38]

Name names. Come on.

[00:11:41]

Who feeds you the least info? Barium.

[00:11:43]

Yeah. That's a good way of doing it, right?

[00:11:48]

Replace that person. Say they're bad at their job, they're out, you bring them in with someone that benefits you.

[00:11:52]

Right, you plant someone who will give you the info you need, right?

[00:11:56]

Yeah, exactly, right. I feel like you should be the commissioner of the NFL.

[00:11:58]

Who do we want to throw into the bus here? I'm not going to throw anybody into the bus here, but we'll.

[00:12:05]

Just leave it like this. We'll leave you alone, Adam. Okay, get out of here, man. We're sorry to waste your time. We appreciate it. Thank you for your NBA observations.

[00:12:12]

I appreciate it. Enjoy the NBA season. Thanks for having me today, guys.

[00:12:16]

Appreciate it. All right. Thank you, buddy.

[00:12:17]

Dan Lebertard.

[00:12:18]

If all the rain drops were lemon drops and gun drops. Oh, what a rain that would.

[00:12:24]

Be- Stugats.

[00:12:26]

-standing outside with my mouth open wide.

[00:12:30]

If.

[00:12:33]

All.

[00:12:34]

The.

[00:12:34]

Rain.

[00:12:35]

Drops were.

[00:12:35]

Lemon drops and gum.

[00:12:36]

Drops.

[00:12:37]

Oh, what a rain that.

[00:12:39]

Would be… This is.

[00:12:40]

The Dan.

[00:12:40]

Levitard show with.

[00:12:42]

The Stugats.

[00:12:46]

All right, everybody, welcome in. This is a very exciting moment for me because we are talking, Benito, we are talking Bad Bunny, the biggest artist on the planet. I had to bring in somebody who has the same enthusiasm as I do about Bad Bunny. He is the hottest comedian in Miami, by the way. Just letting you guys know because he's touring all around the world. Carlos Hernandez from not only his own comedy, Carlos Hernandez, but also, only a data host, my brother.

[00:13:13]

Let's go, dude. Thank you for having me, dude.

[00:13:15]

We finally connect. We've been talking about this for years, by the way. We really have.

[00:13:18]

Every time I see.

[00:13:19]

You all, I'm like, Bro, let's do something. We talked about this on a plane where we were supposed to jump out of. Yes. Dude, I forgot about that. Oh, shit. We talked about this just when we saw each other in a parade. We just consistently just can talk about Bunny when we talk to each other.

[00:13:31]

Dude, I totally forgot about the plane, dude. I forgot that I jumped out of a plane.

[00:13:36]

Go figure. He did.

[00:13:37]

Anyways, most important topic at hand, another album by.

[00:13:41]

Bad Bunny..

[00:13:42]

And they really don't, which means nobody knows what's going to happen tomorrow. We have a lot of English speakers. We have a lot of Miami speakers that understand both languages. So we're probably going to do this in Spanglish a bit.

[00:13:52]

I mean, that's how I just do my whole life.

[00:13:53]

My life, right. Exactly. There's things that I yell out in here where people are like, What did he say? And they're like, Oh, hold on, let me translate it.

[00:13:58]

Translate for you. I do that all the...

[00:13:59]

I do that with things. And everybody's like, What? I'm like, This is messed up. I can't do this.

[00:14:03]

Yeah, sometimes I do that with words that don't even need translating. Just the most simple things like, Oh, pass me the camera. I mean, Pass me the camera. It's just the most simple thing. It's like, Okay, we got it.

[00:14:13]

Okay, so a drop that we didn't really expect because he was doing a lot of stuff behind the scenes, doing movies, doing fashion, dating Kendall Jenner. All kinds of things. -all kinds of things. -all kinds of things, right? Living his life after a banger of an album.

[00:14:27]

-which was only a year and a half ago, really.

[00:14:29]

-which was... We're going to get to that in a bit. We're going to talk about all his entire discography, but that Van der Stee album was incredible. I didn't think that he was going to be able to top it. Then all of a sudden, a year and a half after, he comes out with Nadi Salman. And, brother, I've listened to it on repeat since it came out. Same here. Every day. I'll listen to the entire thing all the way down.

[00:14:50]

Dude, honestly, I don't like saying, Oh, this album is better than the other. This album just gets me in a mood that I can control and then I can just take over the world or whatever. That's the energy I need. Girls need Taylor Swift to tell them that. I need Bad Bunny to tell me that in Spanish that I barely understand from Puerto Rico. Exactly. That's what I need to feel my own way.

[00:15:10]

The R's turning into L's, and then I'm trying to figure out why things happen. I'm like, Okay.

[00:15:16]

It's the best, dude. I like how he is so literal. He's very literal in this album. He literally says like. It's very specific. It's like, Oh, this guy is just like... It's not comedy, but it's so self-aware that it's like, Oh, this is like... The Eagle doesn't even matter how much Eagle is in this album. Because he's so self-aware of what's happening. It's just incredible.

[00:15:36]

He knows that he's the biggest artist on the planet.

[00:15:38]

He knows for him, it's like-He's like, Yeah, well, now I'm just vibing with that aspect of what that is.

[00:15:43]

It came out last Friday, right at midnight. I was tired last Friday, so I didn't want to listen to the whole thing. What I did was I listened to the first four songs, and then I was like, I'm going to put it down, and then I'm.

[00:15:55]

Going to go to sleep. Good for you. I did not do that. I listened to the.

[00:15:57]

Whole thing. I figured. When the first one came out, which is the first song, Nadia Sabe, right? Now we're going to open up because I.

[00:16:04]

Need to open up this one. Yeah, Nadia Sabe. We can't really play anything because.

[00:16:07]

Then they'll get-Is that on the loud? Can we do that? Can we do that here?

[00:16:11]

I don't like when the producer's like, What? When the producer throws their hands up. Maybe it's up to you. If you guys get in trouble, I won't get in trouble.

[00:16:17]

Because the problem is I push a lot of boundaries here in a lot of different ways, so I may do a little something. Anyways, now they said it comes out and I'm like, Okay, first song, not the album, the song. Right. I'm like, Okay, straight bars. Bars. No nothing. Just straight bars. Talking. Putting you in the mind frame of somebody who is the biggest artist on the planet.

[00:16:37]

And-and doesn't give a shit. I don't know how far we can go with the curse. You can go far. Now she's like, I don't really care.

[00:16:45]

I don't.

[00:16:45]

Care at all. Let it ride.

[00:16:46]

Somebody else is going to edit it. Anyway. Okay. So your first thought, when you heard that song.

[00:16:51]

Straight bars. I mean, dude, it's honestly not even a song. It felt like a poem to me. It felt like I was just entering his mind. He's just literally talking about like, Nobody knows how it feels to be this big and how it feels to feel like this sad at moments. I don't even know why I feel sad knowing I have all this. But sometimes you feel that in life in general, but then knowing that it's coming from the biggest person on the planet is like, Oh, crap. So everybody's still going through it no matter what. And then it's also calling out aspects of everybody's talking about when he threw the cell phone or when he- He mentioned it twice on the album. -he mentioned it twice on that.

[00:17:25]

Song, which.

[00:17:26]

Is like, great, I think I said, Well, I don't care. I'm like, You don't realize what I'm dealing with, and I'm doing this all for you. I'm still just trying to be as genuine as possible with you, and he does it. I think he does a great job at it. Not only in that song, but throughout the album. It has the.

[00:17:40]

Same energy. It's such a crazy thing that you go from being a guy who was opening for other acts in small clubs in Puerto Rico to now being one of the most recognized not only faces, but voices.

[00:17:53]

-voices, which he says.

[00:17:54]

-which he says. -right, before you see my face, and it's like, When you hear that, Baloney baby, everybodyeverybody knows. That's it. He's such a master marketer in the sense that he's created sounds. I almost equate it to like Young Thug, where Young Thug has his own voice, where when you hear Young Thug, you know it's a Young Thug track because of his voice, the way he manipulates it with the song. But Bad Bunny has the same thing.

[00:18:16]

Or like a little Wayne.

[00:18:17]

Wayne tooth or the lighter.

[00:18:18]

You know it's Wayne. It's about to start going in. But even the way that Wayne does that, too, the like... It's his flow. And Bad Bunny has a similar thing where he's able to have that and then tone it on himself. I did not expect for that to start, asked that song, but it was like, you know that song in You have a look at me that's like the Little Heart? It's almost a version of that. A great song, by the way. I love that song. It's also just like a spoken word type of thing.

[00:18:45]

But at the end of the album.

[00:18:46]

At the end of the album. But this time he does it at the beginning, which is like, Okay, we're going to set in the mood from the top. I appreciate it.

[00:18:53]

I don't know if I'm going to get in trouble for this, but I'm just going to play a second. Can I do this? I don't know. Mike Fontas? No? I don't know. Okay. I'm just going to play a second. Don't edit. I'm going to play a second. Are you ready? Hold on.

[00:19:05]

We got to... It's hilarious. We play this and then Billy hears it. Or worse.

[00:19:08]

Bad Bunny hears it and he sues us. We don't know. Okay, Jason's giving me heat. I don't know.

[00:19:12]

He doesn't know if we can play it. Okay, so don't do it.

[00:19:14]

I'm going to play a second of it. I don't think we get in the phone for a second, right?

[00:19:17]

He says, Okay. We do one second.

[00:19:19]

It's on Mike Fontas. He told me, Okay. When I heard this... Okay, that's it. That's it. That's all I can play. That was three seconds. Okay. They told me my ear, three seconds is legally all I can play. I think I played three seconds. I think that's good. When that violin came out and then I heard, whoo, ho, ho.

[00:19:38]

Well, that's on the second song. That's Monaco.

[00:19:40]

Yes.

[00:19:40]

Monaco. But the first one also has a- It.

[00:19:42]

Has the start. But when I heard Monaco and I heard that-.

[00:19:45]

Which was also the trailer for the thing. Yeah, bro. I don't know what it did to me, dude.

[00:19:51]

It almost leaves me speechless.

[00:19:52]

And it's like a laugh. You hear it. It's like an actual like, ho, ho, ho. Like a little like, I don't even know. I'm thinking of Italy because it's very fine you're sipping wine and then it's just like a little.

[00:20:01]

Gesture guy or whatever. I see him like James Bond. He's in one of those wooden boats, and then that song is playing in the background, and he's in Monaco for a.

[00:20:09]

Spy mission. Have you seen the video? It's the same vibe. It's the same vibe. Yeah, I love it. When he.

[00:20:13]

Dropped that trailer, that's when we knew, Oh, shit, he's putting out an album.

[00:20:16]

And he's shaved his head.

[00:20:17]

And it was like, Al Pacino is in it, and he's in the back of Carpona. I was like, Oh, my God, we are so.

[00:20:23]

Back right now. That's it, dude.

[00:20:24]

It's amazing. To me, Monaco is the best song on the album.

[00:20:28]

Hundred %.

[00:20:29]

I agree with that. As far as what used to be the radio hit of an album, you knew, Okay, this song is going to get played on the radio a thousand times.

[00:20:36]

They're already playing that song. I went like, where did I go yesterday? I had a Shell, and then we went to Wilnix or Copper Blue or something like that for the improv, and they're already playing that song, which is great. You don't even really think of that song as a club song. It is trap, which is not like it yet.

[00:20:52]

By the way, the entire album is trap.

[00:20:53]

It's a trap album. It's Latin trap, which is like what him and like-Anuel. -anuel, Mike Myers, He's great. Brian Myers as well. I said Mike Myers, that's hilarious.

[00:21:03]

He has a trip on this coming up.

[00:21:05]

Mike Myers, yeah, Friday the 13th. Oh, the Torobes.

[00:21:07]

He just came out Friday the 13th, too. It comes out on Halloween.

[00:21:11]

Exactly. So having that Latin trap again, and he said it, like there was a song, I think it was in or something like that. When I heard that, I was like, Oh, wait a second.

[00:21:24]

That's the thing. Last album was the perfect album for the summer. Oh, okay. Verano de Cinty was made for the summer. My wife and I, last year I took her to Hawaii for her birthday.

[00:21:37]

Oh, and you just listen to the album. The day.

[00:21:38]

Before we leave, Verano de Cinty comes out.

[00:21:41]

Amazing.

[00:21:42]

Brother, when I tell you I put on that album and I'm instantly transported, Droptop Jeep, cruising down Maui, okay, with those songs, Blasting, I cannot tell you the vibe that that album puts me in.

[00:21:55]

It's incredible. It's exactly that vibe. It's like just you feeling like you're in Hawaii no matter what, like you're about to hit it beach. It's great.

[00:22:02]

It's amazing. But this one was different. Nadia Sabe was a different vibe. It puts me in a space of almost like he's grinding on the way back to like, he's made his life and his career so perfect. It's such a level, but he's still rapping, like he's grinding, trying to make it.

[00:22:18]

100 %. But that's what makes it special. That's what he says about the whole thing. I'm up here and I'm going to.

[00:22:24]

Stay up here..

[00:22:27]

That Booker T-Song from two albums ago. Exactly. That was just December 2020. It wasn't even that long ago. Now he's like, I'm in my prime. It's only three years later. Not even two and a half years. Then he's like, Yeah, no. I'm in my prime. I'm going to stay in my prime no matter who triesto get. Even he did more numbers than Drake.

[00:22:48]

Silently, a week before. A week before. Better album than Drake. Best song on.

[00:22:51]

The album of Drake. 100 %. When that Debois is so good. Gently is incredible. Crazy. I mean, Drake embarrassed himself speaking Spanish to a level of no degree.

[00:23:02]

I didn't know what he was doing in the first... When the song first hits, he starts saying things. I'm like, That's not Spanish. That's not English.

[00:23:08]

I don't know what that is. It's like, well, he even changes the way he's like, champagne, papi, what you're going to say like- Not it. -champagne, champagne. You could just say the actual words. It's like a letter off. And if Benito... I mean, he could also be like, Yo, you should probably change a head though.

[00:23:22]

But.

[00:23:23]

It's all good. He tried it in MIA and then he did it again. But Drake's have a one that was great. It was awesome. But I don't think anything compared... I'm a Drake and Bad Bunny fan. I'm a.

[00:23:32]

Very- That's why we're here together because we both agree on the same thing.

[00:23:35]

I understand that it's a very fanboy thing to be. It is the most default way of what a man would like nowadays. It is Drake and Bad Bunny, but I am okay with that. But I also grew up listening to both of them from the top. Bad Bunny 100% had a better all. Easily.

[00:23:50]

Easily.

[00:23:50]

Dan.

[00:23:52]

Levitard. Ron, I can't walk around my house naked because I fear that the cat would be traumatized.

[00:23:58]

Stoo.

[00:23:58]

Gats. Like if your cat or dog suddenly saw you nude walking around your house, how would they react to that?

[00:24:05]

What would they think? Probably wondering why I don't have spines at the end of my penis. Yeah, like a cat. This is the.

[00:24:12]

Dan Levator Show.

[00:24:13]

With the Stoo Gats. Drake does.

[00:24:19]

This a lot, too, where he would put... There's like three or four songs on that album that I'm like, Okay, this is good. The problem is there's 26 songs on the album. There's four or five good ones. Then you're like, There's just a ton of Miedda, bro.

[00:24:32]

For All the Dog, yeah.

[00:24:33]

It's just whatever. But then you look at Bad Bunny.

[00:24:35]

And you start with 22 songs. I mean, everything is a thing. You start with Nadia Sabe, Monaco, Finna, Banger. Hiviki with Maura, great love whenever Maura's.

[00:24:41]

On the song. Da da da la cidad. That one.

[00:24:44]

Goes crazy, dude.

[00:24:45]

I don't know if that counts. No, that's a karaoke.

[00:24:47]

That does not count. Great. Mr. October, which everybody thought that was.

[00:24:51]

Going to be- Reggie Jackson.

[00:24:52]

That.

[00:24:54]

Was fire.

[00:24:56]

So good. Cybertruck. Great. I think that song talks more about Kindle a little bit. I heard a little bit of talking about Kindle, Jen and RISE in there. I don't remember how that one starts. Let me see.

[00:25:07]

Right. That's the only one we can play.

[00:25:10]

Vold 787. That's the only one that I'm okay with. Really? I don't love it. I like it. I don't love it. I like it. But it's the only one. I don't know if it's because it has just the worst name of all of them. I guess just like the...

[00:25:23]

In the middle of it, it has that slowed down, chopped and screwed. I don't know whatit's like. I couldn't say it.

[00:25:30]

I don't know either about that one. That's the only one that I'm not... Let me play one song. It's a little different. It sounds like you're in an elevator, which is cool.

[00:25:37]

I.

[00:25:37]

Like that one, though.

[00:25:38]

It's a vibe.

[00:25:39]

That one's also a little bit Kindle vibes, I thought. Ceda. I thought.

[00:25:45]

It was great. I like Ceda. Ceda was one of the slower songs.

[00:25:48]

Old School Bad Money, him with Brian Myers. That whole Brian Myers sound is great.. I think it's Fire. I don't think it's another name, but it's great. I liked it. Let's see where I'm thinking of it. It's for Cienpre vibe. It feels a little more old school.

[00:26:05]

Than what- A little bit more Sad Boy, Bad Bunny than party boy, Bad Bunny than let's hang out on the boat, Bad Bunny. Because he has different... That's a cool thing about him.

[00:26:13]

It's like a different character every time. Right.

[00:26:15]

He's got multiple different characters in a way where Drake has some of those things. Because we're getting to a point where we can only compare Bad Bunny with the greats of other genres.

[00:26:25]

Yeah, or himself at this point, which Drake says that all the time like, Oh, yeah. I can only compare myself to whatever. But I think Bad Bunny is someone that you can really compare him to other versions of him. There's really no one.

[00:26:38]

Like him. And he's never the same.

[00:26:40]

At all. Every album is different. It's the same dude with that little comb-over thing here forever. I haven't heard another, I don't know. And I like Anwell. Shout out to Anwell. I love Anuel. He gets me on a vibe, but I cannot listen to a full Anwell album at all, dude. I'll never be able to put a whole Anuel album and.

[00:26:56]

Be like back to the bottom. But it's another thing. Twenty-seven songs, three gold ones.

[00:26:59]

Exactly. I'm done with that. Just put 12 out and hopefully other all good. All right, keep going. Next one, Telefono Nuevo. Love that song, dude. It starts with the little...

[00:27:06]

I'm like, Was I on the phone? I love when they trick you.

[00:27:10]

When they trick you and they make you feel like you're in it, it's true. And then he goes back to the beginning of the song. He's like.

[00:27:16]

He does the same thing in Romana.

[00:27:20]

Oh, my God. And you're like... And then it goes, Fire, fire, fire, fueg, fueg. It's so good. So good.

[00:27:27]

Don't mind us. We're just having fun.

[00:27:29]

I mean, are we cutting all this? Is this any of this usable? Keep going. Telephone room is great. Baby Nueva, obviously, we know what that's about. Let's hear the one second. That's it. I love that one. I think it's good. It's like...

[00:27:46]

Who is the.

[00:27:50]

Feature on that? No one. The next one is Mercedes-Carnota, who Yung-Mitch is featuring on it. Great one. Yung-chimmy. I love that song. Los Pizzas is great.

[00:28:01]

Pizzas is good.

[00:28:02]

He has a line that I love that he's like, You're a. What?

[00:28:08]

So good. Why? Because he was in Bulletrain.

[00:28:11]

Bulletrain, which he was the villain in and crushed it. Crushed it.

[00:28:13]

As the wolf or whatever. Basically didn't say anything.

[00:28:15]

Didn't have to. Dude, we are the biggest Bad Bunny right now. I cannot even-We know everything, dude. We're like, Dude, we know it. Wow, is this what being a Taylor Swift fan.

[00:28:25]

Feels like? Is it? I don't know. Is it?

[00:28:27]

Okay, Kirsten says yeah. Dude, I went to watch the Taylor Swift movie with my girl on the weekend. I don't get it.

[00:28:34]

My wife doesn't like that, so that's good.

[00:28:37]

I don't get it. I don't understand. If Bad Bunny had a movie like that, dude, the theater would be crazy.

[00:28:42]

But the thing is that- I would buy the theater.

[00:28:43]

She just had little girls vibing too. It's great. I love the theater. I'm not even going to.

[00:28:47]

Get into it. If you like it, you like it.

[00:28:48]

It's great. Los Pizas, let's put one little part. What I love about that song is that at the end, he does his own shout out to the DJ. He does the...

[00:28:57]

I don't know if you-Is that the one where he sounds like he's in concert? He's like.

[00:29:01]

He says, Ciencillio. Ciencillio is like a dude that basically runs a lot of VIP shit. Yes. Here, he's great, madam, crazy person, but he's great. He mentions, he was like, Ciencillio, cojom e tola para del printer. Then he sounds like he's in the DJ booth. It's so good.

[00:29:14]

The way that he can do that, he does the same thing on Des Puega La Playa, where it sounds like he's in a little concert in a little place. Or at the beginning, he's like, or whatever at the beginning. Yes, like the four of us. Then it's like, Bum, Bum.

[00:29:27]

Incredible. So good. Hubert, Candiví, I.

[00:29:30]

Love that song. It has so many bars in it.

[00:29:33]

So good, dude. I didn't know this, but Hubert Candiví used to be a Hinetero, which means a dude that... How do you call that in English? The guys that ride horses? I don't.

[00:29:44]

Know if you call that-Yeah.

[00:29:45]

Like a jockey. Yeah, exactly. In Puerto Rico, that died or something. I looked it up and I was like, Oh.

[00:29:50]

In the Spotify, if you listen on Spotify, in every song, he's on a horse going through every song in different cities or different things, and the album cover is him on a horse.

[00:30:00]

Exactly. This one's a little bit more of going, tying a little bit more into that vibe. I also love that. There's a laugh track in it, or not a laugh track, but he said something like, Oh, my God. What is that? That is like, Ha ha. Oh, I love that line. I use that for all my promos now. Vaticano, I think, is great. It hasn't grown on me just yet.

[00:30:22]

I'm intrigued by Vaticano, and I'll tell you why. Because it feels to me like the darkest song on the album.

[00:30:28]

It is pretty dark.

[00:30:28]

It's a very dark song. It's a very dark song. It's called Vatican, essentially, in English. But he's talking about a very hyper-sexualized relationship with somebody in terms of it being also religious. Yes. So for me, I had to hear it a couple of times and I was like, Okay, this is interesting. What is he trying to do here? And all the other songs I know what he's trying to do. This one I'm still trying to.

[00:30:50]

Figure out. I haven't figured it out yet. It hasn't grown on me as well. I agree with you. It is like-It's a dark song.

[00:30:55]

It's a dark song.

[00:30:55]

What is happening right now? That's why I haven't gotten too far into it, but I will. It's still just less than a week out. We'll get there. Next one, I love No me quero casar. I play that next to my girl, so she can be like a freight.

[00:31:06]

Dude, the beat on No me quero casar, when it goes, Dude. The fact that.

[00:31:13]

It starts like... Too. It's like, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, like a classic Puerto Rican song, great. And then he's like, No me quero casar. So good.

[00:31:23]

Such a great beat. I can't do it right now, People. Sorry. Jeez, Kirsten keeps playing it right now, and I can't get it.

[00:31:29]

We're fully doing promo for him for free right now. Next one, Where She Goes. That was the single that came out? That was the single that came out. -first single that came out. Nobody even knew that it was going to be an album coming, except people were like, Oh, Nadia Sade was the billboard at the end or whatever. Banger. I love where she goes. But once a single comes out, I don't know about you, I don't really hear it in the album because I've heard it so much for two months already. So I skip it.

[00:31:53]

If it comes up with my shuffle, I won't skip it. I won't skip it, but I won't listen to.

[00:31:56]

It in the album. But if it's in the album and I'm listening to it, I'll skip it. Just because I already heard this, I know where it is. I do think it's a little bit, I will say this, it's a little out of place based on the entirety of the album, in my opinion. Yes. I don't think it has the same vibe that the rest of the album has, but maybe on the next album, and we'll get to pretty much towards the end, maybe a little more of that little house and reggaeone vibe. Where she goes is great. Thunder Lighting, like I said, is my favorite right now with Eladio Carion, which I also love that he says, I don't even know if it's on this one, but he says. Amazing.

[00:32:27]

It might be on a different.

[00:32:28]

Song, but-It's a different song, yeah. But the fact that Eladio has three shoutouts in it, I don't even know they were that much.

[00:32:34]

Eladio's, dude, on a sidebar, Eladio is killing it right now. Love that guy, bro. Anytime that he's on a song, I'm cranking it up. I remember him when Kemba Walker came out.

[00:32:45]

Oh, my God. Kemba Walker with-Is that with Kodak?

[00:32:47]

No, you're thinking of... Hold on, I get in a second. The Gremlin one? The Gremlin one. Yeah, something Gremlin. Super Gremlin with Eladio and somebody else is on it. I can't.

[00:32:57]

Think of it right now. Is Kodak on it?

[00:33:00]

Kodak's on it and I don't know of somebody else. I forgot who it is. It's another Latin trap-dob.

[00:33:04]

I can't think of it. I love that Elario just has future. He just has the greatest rappers.

[00:33:09]

People respect what he's doing because-I think it's.

[00:33:12]

Because he speaks the most English and he'll just communicate perfectly. -yes, this is what I want.

[00:33:17]

To do with the song. I could do this, but I can do.

[00:33:18]

It in Spanish. Exactly. Thunder or lightning.

[00:33:22]

Uropa is another interesting one to me because that tells me there's something coming. There's a little nugget for us to look at because it's.

[00:33:30]

Literally like-It's 11 seconds. It's just him saying... I feel like with this one, we're not going to throw. -can we play this one? -it's not even a song. It's just this. I don't think there will be a tour. I don't think there will be a tour. I don't think there will be a tour. I don't think there will.

[00:33:48]

Be an airport. So basically from English speakers, what it says is somebody at an airport-That's the whole song. Yeah, somebody at an airport saying, Sorry, your trip to Europe has been canceled. Just look up for future dates.

[00:33:58]

Of your flight. Which I'm pretty sure it either means that European tour, sure it's going to happen, or something in the next album that is a consideration. Ties it together. I don't know if this is a part one, part two thing, but I don't think there'll be a Nadia Sabe lo que va a pasar manana part two. Maybe theresend you this. Maybe you will use this clip when that happens. But I don't know. It definitely feels like there's more to this. Especially because Perro Negro, we already talked about it with Fade, Fire, Hachaperre, we already talked about it. And then there's Un Preview, which is the second single. Yes.

[00:34:29]

They came out of this one. Because it came out a week before, it feels like.

[00:34:32]

A week before. No, yeah, it did. I remember listening to that song, and I was not impressed.

[00:34:36]

Really? Kirsten said the same thing. Kirsten is producing right now. Kirsten said the same thing. She was like, It's okay. And then I was like, Hold on. You just got to listen to it a couple of times.

[00:34:43]

I did, and it grew on me a lot.

[00:34:45]

You grew on you, right?

[00:34:46]

But it definitely was not my top. Then I hear it now on the album, and I like it. I like it a lot more. I don't skip it. I think it's because it sounds a lot like, maybe not, but it does sound very that vibe. It feels like it would have fitted in that album a little bit, in my opinion. I think it's great. But then the fact that he puts that at the end, which means, which you think is the beginning of this album, when he plays that, that's a huge tell that there's something fire coming apart from this. It's just so cool.

[00:35:15]

Yes, dude. It's so cool the way that they can manipulate where the songs go and how the story gets told of an album that lets you know that there's stuff coming in the future. To me, I was telling, I think Mike Juventz, I was telling him, An album is like a bottle of wine. You need to open it up. I agree. You got to let it breathe a little bit. You got to listen to it a couple of times, and then you can make a distinction on, Okay, is this a good album? Is this a great album? Because you hear something, especially if it's your favorite artist. I heard For All the Dogs, and then I heard it again. I was like, Okay, there's about six.

[00:35:46]

Songs that I like. But you liked it a lot at first. I liked it.

[00:35:48]

And then I was like, Hmm. But it kept going down. Me too. With Bad Bunny, I listened to it the first time. I was.

[00:35:55]

Like, Okay, I.

[00:35:56]

Don't know if I like it all the way yet.

[00:35:59]

Do you know the first thing I did when I heard it? Then I just heard it.

[00:36:00]

Yeah.

[00:36:00]

And again and again and again.

[00:36:02]

I was like, Okay, all right, I'm in.

[00:36:04]

You're all in.

[00:36:05]

Where can people see you? Where can people follow you? Give me.

[00:36:07]

All the good. You can follow me at C-H-R-L-O-S. On TikTok, you can follow me at C-H-R-L-O-L. I'm posting all my dates. You can find them on the link of my bio. Follow me for more shows. Follow me for dates. I'm posting content all the time. Follow your boy and listen to the.

[00:36:22]

Album, please. Yeah, dude, that's all I want you to do. My brother, thank you so much for hanging out.

[00:36:25]

Of course, bro. Thank you for having me.
