And that's where our good friends at Symbiotica come in. Symbiotica is a supplement brand that we love, giving us access to a wide variety of different options. Natalie and I started taking symbiotic up because we really are busy.

[00:01:38]

We're so, so, so busy and we started feeling like we just have a little bit less energy, especially now as new parents and not getting the best sleep. Since taking their products, we have noticed more energy to get through these long days and we have even deeper, better sleep.

[00:01:52]

They are formulated with the highest quality ingredients out there. Symbiotica is transparent about how and where they source ingredients to ensure you get the best products possible. Their formulas don't have any seed oils, preservatives, toxins, artificial additives or supposed natural flavors. Unlike other supplements that can taste chalky, symbiotica features supplements that taste delicious. From the citrus vanilla taste of their vitamin C to their vanilla cream flavor and their magnesium L therinate, you can get a great taste across all of symbiotica's offerings.

[00:02:19]

I absolutely love symbiotica. I take the vitamin C and the master antioxidant combats premature aging, enhances energy metabolism, and promotes gut health. And, like, the best part is that you don't feel like you are taking vitamins. It tastes so good. I think the antioxidant is citrus berry. Like, it's always mixed with, like, a flavor of citrus. So easy.

[00:02:38]

What we love most about symbiotica is that they truly have so many different options and offerings. For all of your supplement needs, feel more energized, alert and balanced with high quality supplements that work. Head over to symbiotica.com vial for 20% off plus free shipping on your subscription order. Again, that's symbiotica.com cymbiotika.com vial. What's going on, everybody? Welcome back to another exciting episode of the Vibe Files reality recap edition. I am your host Nick, joined by the household. So much to get into. Holy shit. Maybe. Is it the worst bachelorette finale of all time?

[00:03:31]

It's a sham.

[00:03:32]

Devastating worst.

[00:03:34]

Absolutely. Well, we have so much breaking. Well, it was a lot of things, but just like, objectively the worst made produced finale.

[00:03:43]

Yeah, fuck them producers.

[00:03:44]

Yep.

[00:03:46]

That was all they're doing. Like, come on. It was a fire dumpster bachelorette.

[00:03:51]

We lots of get it too. But the Internet.

[00:03:54]

Sorry.

[00:03:54]

It's like, no dumpy.

[00:03:55]

Sorry.

[00:03:56]

I agree.

[00:03:56]

It's a dumpster fire overseas. It and a lot of reasons to, like, ask yourself, what the fuck were they doing this season from beginning to end?

[00:04:04]

And also Sam and Aaron being like, we told y'all, like, no, no, no, bitch. This isn't get y'all off the fucking hook. Y'all are still pieces of shit, too. Take a seat.

[00:04:11]

There. There is that. There is that. But yeah, the producers ended up being the villain of the season. And then when it comes to when you say the word producer, I mean, there's hundreds of people working the show.

[00:04:21]

Question is, which one?

[00:04:23]

Which one? Anyways, a lot to get into. We also have Peter Schrager of good morning football with us. We got the NFL season is upon us. I am so excited.

[00:04:33]

Zachary, remember when Nick called me a pick me the other day? Whenever I was like, so excited for football season, he was like, oh, give me a pick me. I was like, candles and fall and.

[00:04:40]

No, I said the baby. I was at the baby. Some people might be calling a big me. And I was gonna be like, fuck you guys. So I have my, my respect.

[00:04:49]

Well, you know what else people are calling me?

[00:04:50]

No.

[00:04:51]

Are they criticizing you for your beautiful body?

[00:04:54]

Good answer.

[00:04:55]

They are. Yeah, they are. I posted some photos of me. You did postpartum. Postpartum did a little intimacy collab and was like, postpartum is sexy. And, you know, I posted a story being like, I really struggled with this. I'm not pre baby. I am not confident in my body. This is very vulnerable for me to do. But, like, as soon as I put this collection on, like, it really did make me feel sexy. Oh, and the hate comments started rolling in, honey. And it was very much like, this is a fake portrayal of postpartum. Like, and then there was. That was a section of them, and then it was like the, you're a slut. Save this for your husband. Just might as well get an onlyfans. Take that cross off your neck. Like, very, very scary comments. I didn't read through all my comments. I stayed away from my DM's, and I was like, let me just, like, see what people are saying. And then I was like, oh, my God, I should not see what people are DM's. Oh, yeah. It was, like, so scary. And then it's like, every woman's postpartum is different, okay?

[00:06:03]

Like, these people have no idea what I'm going through internally, what I'm going through behind this screen that I post the highlights of my fucking life on.

[00:06:12]

Dave, you can't help that. Your bad day is someone else's unobtainable day. That's not your fault.

[00:06:16]

But it's also just like, I'm sorry.

[00:06:18]

I was just. I hate. I hate these people.

[00:06:20]

No, it's just like, it's just like these. And it's women. It's women being like, how fucking dare you do this? And it's like, I'm sorry. I, like, felt vulnerable and, like, I don't know, powerful enough to be like, hey, I don't look my best, but, like, I feel sexy, and that's what counts. That's what matters. I don't know. And people are just fucking hating me, and it's so insensitive. And there was a lot of nice comments, but my DM's were very scary, and it felt like people didn't want to publicly shame me because maybe they knew they would get some, like, response in the comment section, so they were like, oh, no, no. We'll just send it to her directly and tell her how much of a piece of shit slut she is.

[00:07:02]

It is crazy, though. Like, if Natalie and I receive criticism together, my DM's will look something like, I'm really disappointed in you. And now these DM's will be like, you dirty whore.

[00:07:13]

Why are people so vicious?

[00:07:15]

Vicious.

[00:07:15]

It's not even people like, why are.

[00:07:17]

It's women.

[00:07:18]

It's mainly.

[00:07:19]

It's always women.

[00:07:20]

And they're always, like, disappointed in me but will absolutely destroy her.

[00:07:26]

I mean, that's so unfair. And it's also kind of like, at the end of the day, it did take. It's a vulnerable moment for you and it's something that you're feeling confident or celebrating. And it's just kind of sad that, like, instead of allowing somebody to celebrate their happiness, even if you don't agree or you don't like it, you don't need to comment on it. And even then, allow somebody to celebrate their body and be happy with what they've accomplished. After having a baby. Your journey and the way that your body looks takes away from nobody else.

[00:07:51]

Nobody else. You know, everyone's is different. And like, maybe, you know, I did. I worked really, really hard. I had a wedding to prepare for. I worked really hard. And I'm still. I am still not where I want to be. I will never be pre baby. I will never look like that again. It's just nothing. It's just not in my cards. It's me being like, hey, I worked really hard and I'm still not, like, I understand. Like, it is. This is hard and this is not, you know, this is a mental load and it's like, it really fucks with you mentally and, you know, like, I'm. But I'm gonna swallow it and I'm gonna, like, post it for the fucking world to see. I'm gonna post, like, what I would really like to cover up and, like, not show even my husband, but, like, no, I'm gonna. Because I feel sexy. I put on this intimacy set and, like, I feel good. I feel hot. I'm like, hell yeah. Like, what the fuck? Like, did I have a baby?

[00:08:46]

I don't know.

[00:08:46]

Like, let me post this. And then people are like, terrible, terrible, terrible. And it's just so cruel. And I feel like women attacking women is just something that will unfortunately never go away. And I don't know, like, maybe like, be nicer to people. Sorry. Anyways, moving on.

[00:08:59]

I will say I thought it was empowering from my perspective. And I did see a lot of comments that were like, gorgeous, love. Thank you for sharing. So proud.

[00:09:08]

Yes, there were. I don't. Yeah, I don't want to say all of it. There was so many comments. And I thank you so much to everyone who commented that because it did make the ones that I quickly saw in my dm a little less, you know, important. But it's still hard. It's still hard to be like, oh, I'm gonna do. I'm gonna be vulnerable, and I'm gonna post this. And then people be like, no. And then it's like, ah, okay, I'll never do that again. Sorry.

[00:09:31]

Ridiculous.

[00:09:32]

People suck.

[00:09:33]

Just like, be nice. It takes no time, no effort to be nice. And even then, you can just keep scrolling if you don't like what you see. But to try to attack somebody in their dm's being like, I hope I ruined your day because your body ruined mine. Like, stop it. Stop it.

[00:09:48]

I'll never understand them.

[00:09:50]

People suck. Yeah, people.

[00:09:51]

And you're stunning, Natalie, by the way.

[00:09:53]

You are.

[00:09:53]

I love you. I love you guys. I love you guys.

[00:09:55]

Love you, too.

[00:09:56]

I almost bought myself. What is it called? An intimacy.

[00:09:59]

You should.

[00:10:00]

I was like, you know what? Natalie looks good in it. I might as well get one.

[00:10:03]

Wait, you should.

[00:10:04]

Don't know if it'd fit anywhere.

[00:10:06]

It would fit.

[00:10:06]

What do they call pieces?

[00:10:09]

Sets.

[00:10:09]

What do we call them?

[00:10:10]

Well, you can wear them separately or together, I guess.

[00:10:13]

Items mix and match.

[00:10:16]

Before we get to household headlines, we got Taylor Frankie Paul. Reminder on an episode of going deeper that dropped yesterday. You must have heard of mom talk. I'm sure all of you listening have heard of the. The mom talk swinging scandal. Taylor, Frankie Paul was a center stage of that scandal. It is a messy, wild story. Finally, Taylor shares her story. No one really heard all the details. I mean, there has been kind of rumors here and rumors there, but we finally got a chance to talk to Taylor. Very emotional. She really addressed everything. So be sure to check that out if you haven't already. Plus, next week on going deeper, we have the rest of the cast. The entire cast except for one, Whitney. Yeah, I know. I know.

[00:10:59]

She was invited, though.

[00:10:59]

She was invited, but she wanted to do it. She. She wanted to do it separately. Whatever. I don't know what that means. But the rest of the cast is here. It's a lot of fun. We talk about the secret lives of the Mormon wives show. It's kind of a bit. A little reunion, if you will, but obviously, a very fast. I mean, we'll be covering. This show comes out tomorrow. Over the next two weeks, we'll be covering two episodes per reality recap, episodes one and two, next week, Tuesday. You know the drill. Follow forward. It's on Hulu. Check it out. It's really, really good. If you if you like wives, fighting, weird relationship dynamics. Kids, babies.

[00:11:35]

Interesting. Religious culture.

[00:11:36]

Religious trauma.

[00:11:37]

Religious trauma. Sex, you know, shame. All of that stuff. It's there. It's, it's got it all. Pretty much any tv salt Lake City produces. I'm I'm tuning in until further notice.

[00:11:51]

I'm gonna move to Salt Lake City or Utah.

[00:11:53]

Oh, my God.

[00:11:54]

I'm already booking my tickets.

[00:11:56]

I'm so sorry. So that, are you trying to say you're quitting or what's going on here?

[00:11:59]

I'll just go for a little bit, get some storylines, bring it back.

[00:12:02]

Oh, yes.

[00:12:05]

Okay. Doki. Okie dokie. Okey dokey. All right. Household headlines. Well, the new cast of Dancing with the Stars has been released and I think for the first time ever, we have two contestants from Bachelor Nation. Joey, fan favorite is on. And Gentran, formerly of just recently left at the altar, so to speak. This is the first time I believe that a bachelorette ended up. Well, I guess. How would you. You had the Hannah Brown Jed situation. By the time it got to AFR, they were broken up. But I think technically she broke up with him.

[00:12:40]

Did they also make her watch the engagement?

[00:12:42]

That part?

[00:12:43]

No, that cannot wait to get into that.

[00:12:45]

That's so fucking crazy.

[00:12:46]

It's wild.

[00:12:47]

It's so crazy. Anyways, Jen and Joey are on, and.

[00:12:52]

There'S also some weird. Some interesting pics.

[00:12:55]

Well, there's always interesting pics.

[00:12:57]

So we have Steven Pommel horse guy from the Olympics.

[00:12:59]

That's a great. That's a great. That's great.

[00:13:01]

Yeah.

[00:13:02]

Anna Delvey. I'm here for this one.

[00:13:05]

It's interesting.

[00:13:06]

She has an ankle bracelet.

[00:13:09]

She does not.

[00:13:10]

An ankle bracelet will be dancing with an ankle bracelet.

[00:13:12]

And she was a convicted con artist.

[00:13:13]

She doesn't have. She doesn't have an anklet on. Okay. She's an ankle monitor.

[00:13:17]

Monitor. Yeah.

[00:13:18]

Well, cuz some people were making fun of the fact that her cast photo, she had ankle monitor in it. But I'm like, so she's gonna photoshop it.

[00:13:25]

She can't take it off.

[00:13:26]

Yeah.

[00:13:26]

Stuck there.

[00:13:27]

She's gonna be salsa with her ankle monitor.

[00:13:29]

Yeah.

[00:13:30]

Do you think her like, location is like jumping everywhere because she's like dancing.

[00:13:33]

Her po is like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

[00:13:37]

Yeah. It's like an instant replay of her dance moves. Just gps her ankle monitor.

[00:13:42]

And then we have Phaedra parks.

[00:13:44]

Yes.

[00:13:45]

She's in her redemption era.

[00:13:46]

She is. She is popping up everywhere.

[00:13:48]

Then we have Danny Amendola, formerly of special forces.

[00:13:51]

Yes.

[00:13:53]

We should have him on and be like, why didn't you finish special forces? He actually crushed it, but he did not.

[00:14:00]

Ooh, Nick trying to start some tea with Danny.

[00:14:02]

Some tea for Danny. Yeah.

[00:14:05]

Ilana, the rugby player.

[00:14:06]

Love her. Big fan of her.

[00:14:08]

So funny. Chandler Kinney.

[00:14:10]

She's from pretty little liars. Original sin.

[00:14:13]

That's the second pretty little liar. Okay, okay, okay.

[00:14:17]

Then we have Eric Roberts. This is Julie Roberts brother.

[00:14:20]

Eric Roberts, the king of b movies. That Eric Roberts.

[00:14:25]

Oh, we did talk about him.

[00:14:27]

The father.

[00:14:27]

Emma Roberts.

[00:14:28]

Emma Roberts.

[00:14:29]

Oh, okay. Yes. Yes.

[00:14:31]

That's my. That's my horse. Eric Roberts is on. That's pretty. That's a big deal.

[00:14:35]

Is that Brooke Snader for me? Okay, so Brooks Nader, a swimsuit model.

[00:14:40]

Pop off queen.

[00:14:41]

Okay.

[00:14:41]

Reginald Vel Johnson.

[00:14:43]

Love that name.

[00:14:44]

Reginald.

[00:14:44]

Reginald.

[00:14:45]

What's. Who's Reginald from?

[00:14:47]

He's Carl Winslow and family matters.

[00:14:49]

Really?

[00:14:49]

Tori spelling.

[00:14:51]

Okay, fresh off not being invited to the funeral.

[00:14:55]

Oh, right.

[00:14:57]

She was named. It was. I think it was Jenny Garth and.

[00:15:00]

Yeah, sorry, Tori.

[00:15:04]

Oops. Then we have Dwight Howard, also on special forces.

[00:15:08]

Interesting. Do you think next. Do you think me back? Yeah. Do you think.

[00:15:13]

No.

[00:15:14]

Oh.

[00:15:14]

Or maybe Natalie.

[00:15:15]

I don't think they ever wife of. I don't think they're.

[00:15:20]

I think I would. I, like, love you dancing with the stars, and I'm not gonna pull a sheena shay here. Like, I would absolutely take it, but I think, like, my.

[00:15:28]

What is your reality to me?

[00:15:29]

Family feud. I, like, need. I need family feud. I need it. And, like, the amount of people who send me Steve Harvey, like, memes, I love it so much.

[00:15:38]

I feel like we can make this happen now.

[00:15:40]

Maybe for my golden birthday, not Christmas.

[00:15:44]

I could just ask Rob Mels. I'm like, what level of fame do we need to.

[00:15:50]

We cannot. We can. We don't need to be celebrity family feud. We can just be regular family feud.

[00:15:54]

Sit in the crowd, be a random thing.

[00:15:56]

Yes.

[00:15:57]

I've only seen a celebrity.

[00:15:58]

Okay, well, us regular people, normies. Watch the regular family view.

[00:16:04]

I'll work on it. Thank you.

[00:16:06]

Okay, who would be in our family feud?

[00:16:08]

Who?

[00:16:09]

Me. You? River.

[00:16:11]

River hits the button, says nothing.

[00:16:16]

She is saying dada doesn't know.

[00:16:18]

She's saying dada.

[00:16:19]

She is.

[00:16:20]

Oh, so you're her first word.

[00:16:21]

Yeah, but she's not saying dada. She's saying, da da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da.

[00:16:27]

Do you know how happy Natalie probably would be if she was just going, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama.

[00:16:30]

No. I would be so fucking happy. And she's also started saying her in. So she's getting, na na na naehethere. And I was talking to my mom, and she was like, could you imagine if Nick's mom, because she's nana, was sitting there, she would be like, oh, my God.

[00:16:41]

I would absolutely do that. I'm like, I'm pretty sure I heard she would. I'm like, do better. Ugh.

[00:16:49]

No, I'm like, cc, come on, cc. I don't know how that's. I don't know.

[00:16:55]

I like this lineup. I like this lineup.

[00:16:57]

It can be fun.

[00:16:58]

Well, I'm going to try to read this headline. Correct me if I'm wrong, because I don't understand sports, but indiana fever versus Chicago sky becomes the most expensive game in the WNBA NBA history with an average ticket cost of $334.

[00:17:10]

Zachary? This is to see Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, right? Wow. Is that.

[00:17:15]

Is that expensive for a basketball game?

[00:17:17]

I mean, it's expensive, period. Right?

[00:17:19]

Yeah.

[00:17:19]

I don't know what the average cost of an NBA game is. I haven't gone in a while, but that seems expensive. Yeah, that seems very expensive. Listen, that's the power of a good story. You have Caitlin Clark, you have Angel Reese. Like, they. They've been competing against each other since college. It's very a la. Like Magic Johnson and Larry Bird back in the day, where they competed at the finals, you know? I know. You know this Justin, right? AA tournament. He's not in. Like. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then they won. Played for the Celtics, one, played for the Lakers. And there were rivalries for a long time, and now they're best friends, but they didn't like each other.

[00:17:51]

There's history behind it.

[00:17:52]

There's history. Yeah, but it's all about the story. You know, you gotta. Why are you. Why do people tune in? It's all. It's like, even the NFL. Like, it's all about the story. You know, the Taylor Swift coming. You know, being a part of the NFL makes it more of an interesting story. Or who likes who? Who doesn't like who? It's all drama. It's all sports is for sports fans. It's. It's. It's the drama. We love the drama. So whether you're a housewives fan or an NFL fan, it's all about the drama. And there's drama with the WNBA now, before, it was like, who do.

[00:18:20]

Who do you think is gonna win? Caitlyn Clark or Angel Reed? I think. I think Caitlin Clark's team.

[00:18:24]

Yeah.

[00:18:24]

I think Indiana is gonna win.

[00:18:25]

Good. Go, Indiana. Go, Indiana.

[00:18:27]

Did you see Adele announced her indefinite break?

[00:18:29]

I did see that.

[00:18:30]

It makes sense.

[00:18:31]

Good for her. Yeah. Putting a pause.

[00:18:33]

How long has she been doing this residency?

[00:18:35]

Well, this one has been, like, two years. Around two years since she released her last album.

[00:18:39]

She was in Vegas, though, for a while, right?

[00:18:41]

Yeah, she was in Vegas for a while, and she still kind of has the residency. Right. But then she's traveling right now.

[00:18:46]

Wow.

[00:18:47]

So basically, she said in Munich, she was like, I don't have any plans for new music at all. I want a big break after all of this, and I think I want to do other creative things just for a little while.

[00:18:56]

Do we think we'll see her on, like, a Ryan Murphy horror american horse?

[00:19:00]

I don't think so, no. Cause she also went on to say, like, I spent a while building this life, and I want to actually live it for years, period. So I think it's, like, her last album, she, like, took a break from music, got a divorce, stopped drinking, and, like, alcohol smoking for a while. Like, now she's like, I want to live that life.

[00:19:16]

She wants to fuck around and find out.

[00:19:17]

But even then, that's phenomenal, because I feel like she always takes breaks in between albums, like, years in between. And then it's like, whatever her life experiences, we get, like, whatever age that album is. And it's always just, like, hits straight to the heart cuts to the core. So I said, I will be happy, and I will patiently wait for 42.

[00:19:34]

How much longer are we gonna wait for Rihanna to come out with a new album? Just curious.

[00:19:38]

I thought she announced it.

[00:19:39]

She's making music.

[00:19:41]

We know that, but we don't know what that means. Yeah, she could be just, like, making beats, being like, I don't feel lyrics.

[00:19:46]

I am also making music. I'd like to announce, are you.

[00:19:50]

Are you on what?

[00:19:52]

Garage band?

[00:19:53]

Yeah. No, I mean, garage band. River and I, every day we sing.

[00:19:56]

Is it just me or, like, our most husbands? Like, when you listen to them, like, try to play with the baby that, like, can't talk or can't really play yet. It's just kind of funny. Like, yesterday, I'm like, okay, we're in the car, and rivers, like, kind of getting a little pissed. I'm like, nick, you've got to start performing. You've got to perform. And he's like, I don't want to perform. I'm like, what is this? And, like, the way he, like, why.

[00:20:22]

You got out me like this.

[00:20:23]

It's just, like, interesting. The way, like, husbands and fathers, like.

[00:20:28]

Choose to, like, know how to baby talk.

[00:20:31]

Well, I just don't think, you know, like, if, like, when you're alone in her playroom with her, like, what are y'all playing? Like, what are you doing?

[00:20:38]

We're. I mean, whatever the mood strikes.

[00:20:41]

She's dressing her up in a pink hat.

[00:20:43]

We're making music. Did you like that outfit?

[00:20:45]

I did like that. It was a power move, literally.

[00:20:48]

And her little feet fit in the shoes.

[00:20:50]

That is crazy that she can wear shoes now. That is crazy. Anyways. No, but I am curious, like, what are y'all doing in there?

[00:20:55]

What are you doing in there?

[00:20:57]

I'm not gonna tell you because you're gonna be like, same. I'm doing the same as you.

[00:21:00]

We let her crawl. We play with her toys. We stand up, we sit down, we roll over.

[00:21:07]

What's your favorite toy to play with, river?

[00:21:09]

I don't have a favorite toy.

[00:21:10]

What's the one you always grab?

[00:21:11]

Her phone.

[00:21:12]

It is interesting that Nick grabs the, like, I know her, like, favorite toys. And then I'm like, nick, will you grab some toys? And he grabs some toys.

[00:21:19]

You're a better parent than mine. No, no, no.

[00:21:21]

I'm not saying that at all. It's just funny how, like, different, like, perspective of, like, parents are.

[00:21:27]

So you're grabbing the phone. What are you grabbing?

[00:21:29]

Only. Cause it makes noises and she likes it.

[00:21:31]

Multipurpose it is.

[00:21:33]

Yeah. And it is fun to be in the car when she presses the ring button and you're like, hello? Hello? Who is it? Pick up the phone. Yeah, that is fun. Rivy. I'm calling. You know, four year old boy accidentally breaks a 3500 year old artifact in a museum. So there's that.

[00:21:49]

Good transition.

[00:21:50]

Thank you.

[00:21:51]

I will say some people don't have museum etiquette.

[00:21:54]

What do you mean by that?

[00:21:55]

I think this is the kids fault or the parents fault.

[00:21:57]

Oh, parents more than kids, but yeah. Why is it out there? Why is it.

[00:22:02]

Well, it's a museum. Like, you go in there knowing that there's artifacts, like, sitting right there.

[00:22:06]

A four year old.

[00:22:07]

You can teach your foil not to touch things.

[00:22:09]

They make leashes for a reason.

[00:22:10]

Like.

[00:22:11]

No, my mom used to say we, like, had to keep our hands behind our back. Yeah, never touch glass or something. My mom would be like, you're not allowed to touch anything. My brother, Washington, my brother, who is also very similar to Nick, a bull in a china shop. I mean, like, walk and things are breaking. Things are cracking. So I. Yeah, it was very. My mom was like, you do not touch a damn thing. Literally, you like, sit on your hands.

[00:22:35]

Like, I was terrified. Like, I'd be like, I don't want to know what happens when I touch things. I was like, people are going to fall from the ceiling. I'm going to go to kid jail. And this thing is like from between 2200 to 1500 BCE. So I'm like, this is like an ancient artifact. And then you told me that the museum said, no problem.

[00:22:52]

What's the east stand for?

[00:22:53]

And BCE before common era?

[00:22:55]

I thought it was before Christ.

[00:22:57]

So there's a religious version. So there's BCE before Christ and then there's ad. Yeah, so there's that.

[00:23:02]

Where did common era come from?

[00:23:03]

Common era is like the non religious version of. Okay, I studied art history.

[00:23:08]

Yeah. Not everything's about religion.

[00:23:11]

Not to be about religion, but like, so there is.

[00:23:15]

There is a Christ version of this.

[00:23:18]

Date, but the common era is centered around history alone. Well, no, but like, does common era and before Christ use the same numbers of years?

[00:23:28]

Like 2024, I believe the world starts at zero.

[00:23:33]

Well, you know, it's common eras and like, written. I believe, like, we can track.

[00:23:36]

It all means the same thing.

[00:23:38]

Yeah. At the end of the day that.

[00:23:39]

They made up BCE, it's all made up. Yes.

[00:23:42]

It's a way everything in this world is made up, you know?

[00:23:46]

Yeah.

[00:23:46]

Y'all agree? Someone just like, was like, I think this could be fun.

[00:23:49]

Yeah.

[00:23:50]

This is what an orange is.

[00:23:51]

Literally. Let's call it an orange.

[00:23:53]

What's the color orange?

[00:23:54]

What even is the color orange?

[00:23:56]

I thought about that all the time. Did you think? When I was a kid I was. I thought to myself, does an orange taste the same to you as it tastes to me?

[00:24:03]

It doesn't. Right, because we have different taste buds.

[00:24:05]

Guess we'll never know.

[00:24:07]

Like, what do you taste when you taste an orange?

[00:24:10]

This reminds me of the, like the blue and black dress. Remember that? Oh, my God.

[00:24:14]

Back in 2012 or whatever, the gold and blue. Is it golden white or is it black and blue?

[00:24:19]

It was black and blue.

[00:24:20]

It was definitely black and blue.

[00:24:21]

I only saw gold and white.

[00:24:22]

Anyone who said they saw gold and white was a pick. Me.

[00:24:27]

I agree.

[00:24:27]

Black and blue.

[00:24:29]

Show it to me.

[00:24:30]

I honestly remember it's gonna be black and blue.

[00:24:32]

It's gonna be black and blue. It's always been black and blue.

[00:24:35]

I literally got into like an argument one of my best friends about it, cuz I was like, you're a liar. Fucking with.

[00:24:39]

You're literally lying.

[00:24:40]

Oh, that's black and blue.

[00:24:41]

Thank you.

[00:24:42]

There's another one. That's.

[00:24:43]

No, but that's edited. That was a pick me on that.

[00:24:46]

That's still black and blue, edited. And there's no white and gold in that photo. There's a light in the top right corner. What you see? Don't fucking start. Nick. Left. You see white and gold on that dress.

[00:25:01]

The white and gold one.

[00:25:02]

Be for real. Nick, are you gaslighting me? No, you're with me.

[00:25:06]

Point to. Point to the photo that you're.

[00:25:08]

Point to.

[00:25:09]

White. Blue. Huh? You think that's blue? The one next to it is black and blue.

[00:25:19]

Maybe you're kind of far. Bring it up, Tim.

[00:25:21]

You don't. You're telling me you don't see black on that?

[00:25:25]

This photo right here?

[00:25:26]

Yes. Nick.

[00:25:27]

No, Nick, you're gaslighting.

[00:25:29]

Come on.

[00:25:30]

That's black and blue.

[00:25:31]

Oh, my God.

[00:25:33]

Yeah.

[00:25:33]

I was gonna say not him using gaslighting.

[00:25:35]

Literally.

[00:25:36]

You're just wrong.

[00:25:37]

What color? You're being serious?

[00:25:38]

That has a light on it. And the light is making it a little bit lighter, but it's still black and blue.

[00:25:45]

What?

[00:25:46]

Nick, are you colorblind?

[00:25:48]

No.

[00:25:48]

Okay. Just curious.

[00:25:49]

Maybe.

[00:25:51]

Maybe.

[00:25:52]

How is.

[00:25:53]

It's okay. I don't think it is.

[00:25:55]

People still argue about it. So in your defense, some people see it.

[00:25:58]

I know no one sees it.

[00:26:00]

I don't personally.

[00:26:01]

You don't see.

[00:26:03]

I can see the black and blue dress that someone has tried to, like, shine a light on and edit it a little bit to make it look lighter.

[00:26:10]

Okay.

[00:26:11]

But it's still black and blue. That's. That is crazy to me that people still argue about that.

[00:26:15]

I just did it.

[00:26:17]

It's so crazy to me. It's so crazy to me that Nixie's white and gold.

[00:26:22]

Well, you had.

[00:26:23]

What do you want to kiss? Yeah, me too.

[00:26:25]

Your brother called 911 on you? No. You called.

[00:26:28]

No, I called 911 on my brother.

[00:26:29]

What would you do if river called 911 on the chicken nuggets?

[00:26:33]

Because she wanted chicken nuggets?

[00:26:34]

Because she wanted chicken nuggets. We answer the door. We answer, the door, opens up, it's a cop with chicken nuggets. Because river called 911 in order to.

[00:26:44]

I'm like, thank you so much. I. Listen, I got my period. My cramps are really bad. I just could not get on the car and go, really appreciate you bringing those. I think it's more so, like, I think they take children's calls incredibly serious. Like, no matter what. Like, when I called the police, I called the police on my brother because he hit me with a foam sword. And I was a foam f o a m, everyone. Foam sword. And I was like, oh, and my mom, we couldn't afford a babysitter, so my mom was like, y'all are. My mom had to work, so she's like, y'all please take care of each other. And I called the police, and I was like, my brother has hit me with a foam sword. I think I probably just said sword. I don't think I said foam. And so, like, three cop cars show up, and they come to the door, and they're like, please bring out the weapon. My brother goes and gets this sword and brings it out, and the cops like, all right, let's call your mother. Where's your mother?

[00:27:37]

How old are you guys?

[00:27:39]

Oh, God. I don't know. I was, like, young of ten, maybe.

[00:27:42]

Damn.

[00:27:42]

I had a similar thing, too. My best friend and I, we were playing with my phone. Like, my actual phone. She took it from me, and I was like, give it back. And she was like, no. And I was like, give it back. And she's like, I'm gonna call 911. But I'm the type. And I was little. I was like, do it. Oh, like, do it.

[00:27:56]

Oh, my God.

[00:27:57]

She dials. It hangs up right away. But, like, so they do take it. She takes it seriously, though, because. Or they take it seriously because it disabled all of my parental controls. They called my mom. Somehow. They knew my mom's number. So they call my mom, and they're like, um, did your children just call 911? She walks into the room, and she's like, did you call 911?

[00:28:16]

Oh, she pissed.

[00:28:17]

She was best. My best friend is still afraid to this day.

[00:28:20]

Oh, my God.

[00:28:20]

No, they definitely take it serious.

[00:28:22]

They do. I'd called 911. My brother would lock me out of the house, and I'd call 911. Listen, I am sorry to those.

[00:28:28]

You were keeping them in business.

[00:28:30]

I was. I was taking them away from the real crime. I'm very sorry to everyone in Auburn, Alabama, if you answered my.

[00:28:36]

It's a quiet town.

[00:28:37]

It is. It was a quiet town.

[00:28:38]

That's so crazy, because I feel like I watched a video in school and obviously grew up in southern California that I'm like. It was pretty much, like, taught to us that, like, calling the police for, like, anything was like, you do not do unless it's an emergency. And I remember watching a video that was like, because they were talking about prank calling the cops or whatever and how, like, they'll show up at your house and everything. And I was like, oh, my God, that's so terrifying. And she's so interesting that I'm like, at the same time, they're like, you want chicken nuggets? Like, I got your mom's number. Is everything okay?

[00:29:06]

I mean, it's so.

[00:29:06]

It's so cool, but it's just. It's so funny that I'm, like, I was literally taught that that was, like, the number one thing you don't know.

[00:29:10]

What city was this in?

[00:29:11]

My city?

[00:29:12]

No. The chicken nuggets. The chicken nugget one spring hill, Florida.

[00:29:16]

Thanks, Zach.

[00:29:17]

Anyways, a kid in Spring Hill, Florida, did call 911 to order chicken nuggets, and the cops arrived with said nuggets. Well, you also grew up in southern California.

[00:29:26]

Yeah.

[00:29:27]

And, like, they just. They're fighting real crime.

[00:29:29]

I was gonna say there's real crime happening.

[00:29:30]

You know?

[00:29:31]

Isn't Florida the place where there's, like, weird headlines of, like, there is crazy people getting arrested?

[00:29:36]

There's Florida man in your birthday?

[00:29:37]

Yeah. So it's like. I mean.

[00:29:39]

Yeah.

[00:29:40]

Oh, yeah. Let's do that. What is Florida man and my birthday should do it.

[00:29:43]

August 31, 2018. Florida man arrested for giving girlfriend a wet Willie.

[00:29:47]

Literally.

[00:29:50]

Wow. He got arrested for giving someone a wet willie.

[00:29:53]

Honestly, I stand by that. Don't put your wet finger in my ear. That's.

[00:29:56]

We got arrested for that.

[00:29:57]

That's what it is.

[00:29:58]

There must have been something else.

[00:29:59]

Florida man arrested, accused of giving girlfriend a wet Willie. That's a whole nother headline. Whole different news outlet.

[00:30:04]

That's when you use.

[00:30:05]

Yes.

[00:30:06]

Yeah.

[00:30:07]

It's a pinky, right?

[00:30:08]

I think it could be any finger.

[00:30:09]

Yeah. Really? Any finger?

[00:30:12]

Well, not a hack, but people thought it was a hack. There was a chase bank. Infinite money glitched. So basically, this video went viral on TikTok, showing this new life hack where you deposit your checks for large amounts of money at ATM's and then make a withdrawal for a smaller amount. People started doing it, not realizing that this is check fraud. So they were doing it again. It's like, oh, free money. Free money. Pulling out, like, thousands of dollars. Tens of thousands. Obviously. Chase bank gets on this, and they're like, stop doing this. This is check fraud. And then the next day, people had negatives of tens of thousands in their bank accounts.

[00:30:46]

Yeah.

[00:30:46]

Cause I thought it was free. Hopefully didn't spend it. I'm sure some people did spend their money, but I'm sorry.

[00:30:51]

Don't be stupid. Like, ATM's are smarter than you. Like, you cannot the bank. Come on. Literally, you cannot outsmart the bank.

[00:30:58]

How old are these people?

[00:30:59]

Adults.

[00:30:59]

These are, like, grown ass adults. And there were, like, lines outside of Chase bank because people sell because the TikToks went viral. So people are showing up at Chase bank just committing wire fraud and then thinking that they got away with it or that they duped the bank. And it's like, first of all, it's your account, idiots. Like, it's literally attached to your account. So it shows that you wrote a check to yourself for a million dollars and then withdrew 50, $20,000. And that's what's so crazy. These people are withdrawing, like, thousands and thousands of dollars thinking they got free money.

[00:31:27]

That's how, you know, they're older, too, because they have checks. I have checks that I'm like, people don't have that no more.

[00:31:31]

They don't.

[00:31:32]

They don't.

[00:31:32]

They sit in it, like, in a safe somewhere. Like, one day these will be. Blow the dust off of them. Are you checking your chase account right now because you went to the ATM?

[00:31:44]

I'm messaging Peter Schrager. Oh, he's on his way. Oh, Jax. So Jax has come forward with a thirst trap photo and a diagnosis of bipolar.

[00:31:55]

Was it a thirst?

[00:31:55]

Well, it might not be a thirst trap. He was sitting there, black and whitish.

[00:31:59]

Pensive trap.

[00:32:00]

Offensive trap.

[00:32:01]

You know, it's a weird topic as we've continued to talk about this story situation guy.

[00:32:06]

Wait, is it a photo of him, like, reading his journal or.

[00:32:10]

Okay, it's like a pensive.

[00:32:12]

Yeah, he was lying there.

[00:32:13]

He was like, someone, quick, someone take this photo.

[00:32:15]

It was candid.

[00:32:16]

He was diagnosed as bipolar and PTSD. It is no long. I mean, but it's, I don't know. Again, we're just so used to jax taylor using this as an excuse for bad behavior.

[00:32:25]

Should I read his caption?

[00:32:27]

Sure.

[00:32:27]

We get the full story. So he captioned this post saying, a little over a month ago, I checked into intensive and patient treatment facilities, scared of the unknown and what I would find out about myself. After many years of knowing something was wrong but not knowing exactly what it was, I recently learned that I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD. It's been a lot to process and an emotional time for me. However, I've come home to my son with a newfound sense of peace. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared for the future, but my focus is just trying to be a better version of myself than I was yesterday.

[00:32:55]

Mental health is a lifelong battle of not letting it control you, but rather you learning to control it. Thank you, everyone who has reached out in support, who has also shared their personal struggles with me. Your messages have helped me more than you know. And the post comes just a week after he was served the divorce papers from Britney. Listen, I, I hope that he means all of this, and I hate that, that he's been diagnosed with those two things. I can't imagine how hard and how much of a struggle that will be to learn about yourself and to continue to work through. And I hope he, you know, is serious when he says that he's trying, he's trying to be a better version of himself than he was yesterday.

[00:33:32]

I guess we'll see. I'm just, I just don't think anyone has an appetite for this to be an excuse for bad behavior. I know, and that's been his track record.

[00:33:40]

Right.

[00:33:40]

So we'll see.

[00:33:41]

But this is the first time that he's actually gone to a facility. He's, he was there for how long?

[00:33:47]

A couple weeks.

[00:33:48]

A couple weeks.

[00:33:48]

He got a real diagnosis. So hopefully that means that he's been given tools to understand.

[00:33:54]

That's a very serious diagnosis. Bipolar, I mean, I think it requires or medication to stabilize. I mean, I know nothing about it, but it's, other than it's very serious and very hard to live with and for the people around you to also, it'll be very interesting how they approach him on the valley.

[00:34:12]

Yeah.

[00:34:13]

What is his role? Do they bring him back now that he's out? Do they pick up filming with him again? I hope not, you know, because again, it is a very serious diagnosis. So we'll see how serious Jax in the show and Bravo take it.

[00:34:25]

Right.

[00:34:25]

You know, we'll follow their lead kind of in terms of how serious they take this because they just have such a history of using his storyline, which takes away the seriousness of it. So, you know, but we wish him well. Hopefully he's doing well and hopefully his healing and on a path to a healthier and happier life.

[00:34:46]

I'd love to see a new version of Jackson, my television.

[00:34:48]

Joe exotic did comment. Take care of yourself. It will be okay.

[00:34:51]

Jokes on it, comments on everyone's stuff.

[00:34:54]

Tiger King.

[00:34:55]

Tiger King.

[00:34:56]

Tiger King.

[00:34:57]

Yes, he did comment.

[00:34:58]

He commented on Jack's post. Yeah. From prison.

[00:35:00]

He's still there.

[00:35:01]

I think he's out of prison.

[00:35:02]

Pretty sure he's in prison.

[00:35:03]

He's still there. Yes. He has a phone. They have, listen, prison is not what it used to be. They've got tablets and shit.

[00:35:08]

That's kind of cool that he put commented.

[00:35:10]

He comments on, like, a lot of Taylor Swift stuff, too.

[00:35:14]

Yeah, he's still in jail.

[00:35:15]

Yep.

[00:35:15]

Incarcerated thing.

[00:35:16]

They got a instagram.

[00:35:18]

They have tablet.

[00:35:19]

He's a Vanderpump fan.

[00:35:21]

Wow.

[00:35:21]

Joe exotic.

[00:35:22]

They probably have, like, super old seasons.

[00:35:24]

They have, like, screeners in there.

[00:35:25]

Damn, I bet they do.

[00:35:26]

Do you think he is recapping along.

[00:35:29]

With us about files plus, should we have him on?

[00:35:31]

He probably is.

[00:35:32]

He probably is. All right. Well, again, the NFL season is upon us. Peter Schrager is about to join us. I listen, I don't know how many of you listening to this show are regular NFL fans, but now that we are in the NFL season, we're going to have a little fun this, this season, and we're gonna incorporate a little bit of NFL talk, mostly just silliness and fun. The whole goal being whether you watch like I do, you'll get a little NFL talk. Or if you don't watch, it'll still be fun for you as well because we'll make it interesting, we'll make it easier for you to talk to people who are fans. We're going to bring you more cultured. What's the best way to say you're.

[00:36:16]

Gonna educate Sierra and I and the masses?

[00:36:20]

NFL, just like Natalie said it.

[00:36:23]

Now you want to use my words? Pick me, pick me, pick me. Just like Natalie said, the great way Natalie said. Candles, the fall, the trees.

[00:36:35]

There'S a lot of decisions you have to make when you have a baby, and the one that I feel the most comfortable and safe making is using huggies for our daughter, River. I always tell Nick that when rivers crying, she's trying to tell us something, and that's the case with most babies. They express it through cries. And so we've turned to huggies. The new huggy skin essentials are here. A brand new, dermatologist approved line of diapers, wipes and pull ups training pants that are all designed with baby sensitive skin in mind.

[00:39:09]

Their wipes are so thick and ph balanced to help maintain healthy skin. Their wipes have zero harsh ingredients for a great gentle clean.

[00:39:17]

The skin essential diapers features a skin protect liner, which is what helps take care of the ick and stick that can cause rash. They have this liner built in their diapers.

[00:39:25]

The whole diaper helps protect against the top two causes of rash. By managing moisture and running mess. The liner gives you the barrier to help absorb moisture and lock away runny mess from baby skin pulp. Skin essentials has your big kid covered, too with a training pant that is ultra soft and breathable to help protect sensitive skin through potty training. [00:39:47]

Peter, welcome to the show.

[00:39:48]

I am so thrilled to be here. This is something that you and I have been talking about, Nick, for quite some time. If I'm ever here on a weekday in LA, can we make it happen? We're going to make it happen. And I have to tell you, I do hundreds of hours of content every month. I'm on tv. I'm on multiple networks. I have a podcast. You guys announced on your last podcast that Peter Schrager would be coming on. And my wife's best friend, one of her great friends, Anna.

[00:40:14]

Anna.

[00:40:15]

Anna Daniels shout out is like bugging out because her entire text chain of Michigan girls that they all, this is their show and this is where they go to. And it's like that. I am crossing over like a different universe from sports to this. It's a major deal. So we'll say hi to Sally Danto and of course, Anna Daniels.

[00:40:33]

Shout out Michigan.

[00:40:34]

That's it. University of the ladies.

[00:40:37]

The ladies.

[00:40:38]

Well, we are excited to have you. I am super excited.

[00:40:40]

Nick has not stopped talking about you, Peter.

[00:40:42]

Yeah.

[00:40:43]

There's like a mutual man crush between the two of, I am such a fan of his. And if I can just tell you a quick story of when my respect for Nick went through the roof, I would like to. So we have this morning show, good morning football. It's on NFL Network and it's just like wallpaper. If you're a football thing, just put it on. It's on for 3 hours every morning. I'm one of the hosts. We love it. I live in the football world where we're talking about backup tight ends and running backs and just really deep. And they're like, nick is coming on. And I'm like, and I've watched a bachelor for a long time, so I knew who he was. I'm like, all right, great. Cool. This is going to be interesting. He says the packers fan. But we get so many quote unquote celebrity fans that are like, I love the Ravens. And you're like, all right, what's your favorite player in the Ravens? I love them all. And it's like, just very generic or it's like I'm a Jets fan. Well, what do you like about them? I like that they're from New York.

[00:41:30]

It's just like, like, okay, you're a celebrity and you happen to know what football is, and that's fine. We'll have you on. But like, let's not fancy ourselves die hard fan. He comes on and he's like, can I just make a point? You know, Alan Lazard is the best blocking wide receiver in football. Now let me tell you something. Alan Lazard is a 6th round pick who is from the practice squad from Iowa State that was barely on the field. And my other three co hosts have no idea who Alan Lazard is. And like, we made eyes over the table. I'm like, this is my kindred spirit. This is my guy. He is a hardcore, he is a real celebrity, hardcore fan. And since then, there's all the texts, whatever. And he was also early on saying, jordan Love should get an opportunity. It's time to rip the band aid off and move on from Rogers. So this guy knows his football. And I think we have great appreciation for each other.

[00:42:12]

It is my, it's how I nerd out. It's my dungeons and dragons. I will listen to literally any Packer podcast. Yeah, I don't care who's making it. I can't get enough.

[00:42:23]

He's always reading some packer article.

[00:42:25]

He's always, I've read the same article twice. Now, for those of you don't know and include the household here, but for the people listening, Peter is the NFL insider of NFL insiders. Like, first of all, how did you become an NFL insider? Because you are, in fact, living my dream.

[00:42:40]

Oh, wow.

[00:42:40]

Peter has predicted the Super bowl winner in the past.

[00:42:45]

No, it's been the last three years the winner. But I've had the matchup, like, the last five years.

[00:42:48]

So I'm very, that's, that's pretty impressive.

[00:42:50]

Peter, but I've got a great foresight into like, the crystal ball on what's going to win. But as far as insider, what that means, I'm sort of a gossip monger in a way of like, I know like, little things that the viewer at home and the fan doesn't. And I kind of like, sprinkle it out here and there. But really what my foothold is in the NFL is like, I've become boys and it's friends with a lot of the GM's and coaches and like, the coach of the Rams, Sean McVeigh. Like, I was at his wedding and then Cliff Kingsbury was the old coach of the Arizona Cardinals.

[00:43:19]

How do you feel about Matt Lafayette?

[00:43:20]

Yeah. Ask him who texts who today.

[00:43:22]

Yeah.

[00:43:22]

So I. Matt text Peter.

[00:43:24]

He did. We text often. Matt and his beautiful wife, Bre, they're living a lovely life up there in Green Bay.

[00:43:31]

If I have to hear one more time how hot Matt Lafleur is.

[00:43:34]

So let's talk about that.

[00:43:35]

What's his wife's name? Bree.

[00:43:36]

Bree.

[00:43:36]

Bree. Babe, you. You've done well for yourself, as have I.

[00:43:41]

So a lot of. Yes.

[00:43:42]

So a lot of I don't feel that way when I'm watching the.

[00:43:45]

Matt wasn't always that guy. I feel like Matt's had a glow up of late.

[00:43:48]

Has he?

[00:43:48]

He's got, like, this, like, he's, like, the hot coach now, but, like, when he came into the league and he was starting off and he was with Washington, McVeigh was the hot guy, and Kyle Shanahan was the hot guy. And people like Robert Sala with the muscles. But now I think he's the resident hot coach. And I hear this time and time again, like, I don't see him that way.

[00:44:05]

Zach, can you bring up early pictures of Matt Lafleur?

[00:44:07]

I like this. Let's look up Washington Matt Lafleur, because.

[00:44:12]

Now I'm like, wait, show him again. Show him again. It was too fast.

[00:44:17]

I'd like to say that overall, the coaches in the NFL, there's a good looking group of men.

[00:44:21]

When he comes on my screen on Sundays, it's not like Matt Lafur is good looking. I hear, oh, wow, he's hot.

[00:44:28]

Take that second photo. Let's look at that second photo. Is that the hot coach?

[00:44:32]

Yeah.

[00:44:33]

No, this is glow up. Like, this is.

[00:44:35]

Yes. He's had a glow up.

[00:44:36]

Right? And I think he likes it. He wears it well, and he's embracing it. But, you know, I love it that he's the guy now. He's the one.

[00:44:43]

Show him now so Sierra can see. I was like, man, Sierra's like, yeah.

[00:44:49]

Packers 2024. Matt Lafleur, 2024. Let me see this.

[00:44:54]

He's got a little facial hair. Thank you, Justin.

[00:44:59]

He's also got a way about him and Nick, I think you'd agree. Like, he's got a little edge to him. Like, he bounced. He, like, the reporters come at him. He, like, bite back. He has a little sass in the lip.

[00:45:08]

Yeah.

[00:45:08]

Like, he's like. He's, like a dude's dude. Yeah.

[00:45:10]

Wow. Okay. Good for Bre.

[00:45:12]

Yeah. Breeze. Killing it.

[00:45:13]

Love you, Bree.

[00:45:14]

And he's killing it.

[00:45:14]

I know your, your big and your predictions. Well, this will drop tomorrow.

[00:45:18]

Okay.

[00:45:18]

But I think it drops technically before you make your. So we don't want to spoil that. You made some picks already. You predicted the teams that will go into the playoffs.

[00:45:27]

Yep.

[00:45:27]

Our packers in that.

[00:45:28]

Yes. Yeah, but what number?

[00:45:30]

But there's only seven teams out of the NFC that make the playoffs. And I have the packers as the 7th team, which did not go over well with Packers Nation. Cause there's a lot.

[00:45:38]

That's why Matt, text him.

[00:45:40]

Matt was like, what the fuck?

[00:45:41]

Yeah. I was like, what the fuck? And it's a little bit different when the guy who's predicted the past three Super bowl winners, that prediction hits a little different because people want to know, like, is it like.

[00:45:50]

So you're just predicting that they will.

[00:45:53]

Make the playoffs and I have it. They might make a wild run to the Super Bowl. I haven't predicted it yet.

[00:45:57]

Predicted it yet. And the last time packers won the Super bowl, they were the six. See, there was only six teams. My big issue is that now there's seven and you have, listen, Detroit's in their division. So, like, listen, Detroit might.

[00:46:07]

I love how in the weeds this is.

[00:46:09]

Detroit might win the division. That's fine. But why seven? Why not six? Why not? Why not? Why not the top wild card, a.

[00:46:16]

Couple teams, Seattle, which is like a wild pick. No one's picking Seattle. I have them over the packers. So, like, for Nick and the packers fans who are expecting a Super bowl this year, like, we got to the second round last year, we're going to either go to the championship game or the Super bowl. We're getting there. For me to say seven, it is a bit of a slight against a team that has had a lot, a lot of hype this offseason.

[00:46:35]

There is a lot of hype.

[00:46:36]

I think the divisions lose.

[00:46:37]

Tell me what. Tell me.

[00:46:38]

Division's loaded.

[00:46:38]

Tell me why the packers won't win the super. Not that you're predicting it, but, like, reasons why you don't think they will.

[00:46:45]

It's been a summer with a lot of young guys reading about how great they are, and one of them, the quarterback, who I think is as grounded as they come, was handed the biggest contract in the history of the NFL after one season. And I think there's a tendency and a possibility when you're young and you're wealthy and you're famous and this is applicable to your worlds that you guys talk about, and it's applicable to the NFL that you don't have that same hunger as to when no one believes in you and no one's talking about you and you're just trying to scratch to get by. I'm not saying there's going to be a malaise that's on our coach, Matt LaFleur, to kind of bring that out of them and make sure there is no step back, but I think following the league long enough, there's a tendency for that hot, young team that finished so good, and it's so young as the packers are, to maybe start the season a little slower because they think it might be handed to them a little differently than it was.

[00:47:33]

I hear you on that.

[00:47:35]

It's not a good explanation.

[00:47:36]

It makes sense.

[00:47:37]

But, like, can't they have, like, a couple tough games and then wake up? Like, counterpoint, do they need tough games?

[00:47:44]

Gives them the hunger, a wake up call.

[00:47:47]

That's what the Chiefs had last year.

[00:47:48]

They need a wake up call now.

[00:47:50]

Do you feel confident? Week one, they're going to Brazil.

[00:47:53]

Brazil.

[00:47:54]

First time ever the NFL is going to Brazil.

[00:47:56]

Seems like a lot of Brazilians are Packer fans.

[00:47:59]

Yep. For some reason, there's a connection there. I don't know the history, but apparently they're like the local team.

[00:48:03]

Same kind of color, flag.

[00:48:04]

Right. Green is involved, and they play the Eagles. Do you feel confident?

[00:48:11]

Listen, it's. It's week one, as we know in week one, it's the most untrustworthy week in terms of how to evaluate your team. Right.

[00:48:18]

My colleague Kyle on the show says week one is a liar.

[00:48:21]

It's all, don't believe this. Right?

[00:48:22]

You know, believe it.

[00:48:23]

Some people play in the preseason, some people don't. Like how, how in shape are these guys? A lot of outliers. So I'm just excited for football to start. I will say that I just think you make a valid point about the packers overall history. Something about this team in this soccer room. They seem very cool. They seem very committed to winning. They seem like they really want to win. What Brian Gutikins has done.

[00:48:48]

Okay, tell them who Brian Gutenberg. This is, like, so good.

[00:48:52]

Imagine.

[00:48:53]

Yeah, imagine Vanderpump. No, go on. All right. Give me this in, like, terms. I know. All right.

[00:49:00]

So Brian Gutiken's Lisa Vanderpump.

[00:49:02]

Oh, yep.

[00:49:03]

Put some builds.

[00:49:04]

He's a GM.

[00:49:05]

He.

[00:49:05]

He picks. Who's with us? The casting director.

[00:49:09]

Yeah.

[00:49:09]

If you will.

[00:49:09]

Okay.

[00:49:10]

He's been on a heater, you know, imagine.

[00:49:14]

Yes. He's been sitting on a heater because it's cold in green. Bay.

[00:49:17]

Yes.

[00:49:17]

Imagine if Lisa Vanderpump.

[00:49:20]

This is great.

[00:49:22]

Casted. Like she got to pick her cast and casted the likes of, of Stashi, Schroeder, Jax, all the cast. But then think of some other really great reality tv stars that are just kind of like stars iconic. He's been really crushing it on his draft.

[00:49:38]

And imagine if I can go one step further. Took the biggest star with everyone saying this star is all encompassing and is the reason why we're so good. This stars the star and said, I'm actually good without that star. And facing the heat from the fans and then them being better the next year without him.

[00:49:56]

He traded Ray Stassi and traded him away.

[00:49:58]

And everyone was like, you can't do that. How could you? Did it? And then they were like, outstanding. More fun, less drama and just not toxic.

[00:50:04]

Are we talking about Rogers here?

[00:50:05]

Yeah. So anyways, but what he has done is he's drafting guys who truly love football. He's drafting captains. He's drafting guys who love the game. Character people, high character people. And I think, you know, there's a lot of GM's who fall in love with the athletes, they fall in love with the stats and they draft guys that quite frankly, like, don't love their job. And there's a lot of people out there who don't love their job. And at the end of the day, who. A lot of players, correct me if.

[00:50:30]

I'm wrong, I'd say 50% of them don't even watch football.

[00:50:32]

That's a job.

[00:50:33]

They just have a great thing. I'm going to make a lot of money and I'm going to get out.

[00:50:36]

Yeah. And the packers are not drafting those players anymore.

[00:50:39]

No.

[00:50:40]

And I think they might. They'll have some ups, they'll have some downs, they'll have some groin pains. They'll have some young team moments.

[00:50:46]

I still might pick them to go to the Super Bowl.

[00:50:48]

I know.

[00:50:48]

Like, I'm not down on them.

[00:50:49]

I just said, I know, I know. But seven.

[00:50:52]

You make it seem like AJ Dylan is going to continue to get us.

[00:50:55]

AJ Dylan. Done for the year.

[00:50:57]

Done.

[00:50:58]

He might be done.

[00:50:59]

He's out.

[00:50:59]

He has a stinger.

[00:51:00]

Yeah.

[00:51:00]

What's a stinger?

[00:51:01]

A neck injury. Very serious.

[00:51:03]

So they've moved on and they've got this guy.

[00:51:05]

So who's our AJ Dylan?

[00:51:06]

Josh Jacobs, who is an absolute beast. And then Marshawn Lloyd. You got to like both these guys. Two new players.

[00:51:11]

Got a love.

[00:51:12]

Hey, that's exciting.

[00:51:13]

New players.

[00:51:14]

Yeah. It's very exciting.

[00:51:15]

So they moved on from Aaron Jones, who was, like, one of the greatest players of his generation. Beloved Packer. But just like we're talking about with Rogers, they were like, we're gonna go younger. They got this 24 year old Josh Jacobs, who went to Alabama and is fantastic.

[00:51:29]

She grew up in Auburn.

[00:51:30]

Auburn, okay, sorry, the state you were trying. Yeah. Played in the state of Alabama.

[00:51:35]

Okay.

[00:51:35]

Woo.

[00:51:36]

Yay.

[00:51:37]

And is 24 years old and is, like, a superstar and is feeling slighted because his old team didn't want to pay him. So it's like, here we are.

[00:51:45]

What about Devontae Adams?

[00:51:46]

Plays for the Raiders, babe.

[00:51:47]

Oh, my God.

[00:51:48]

Keep up.

[00:51:48]

I'm sorry. You know, you get attached to them and you learn them, and then you blink and they're gone. It's. How.

[00:51:54]

How do they know Romeo still plays for the packers?

[00:51:56]

Oh, thank God. Romeo Dobbs.

[00:52:00]

Are you a big Dontian Wicks fan?

[00:52:02]

He was in my vows, wasn't he?

[00:52:03]

He was.

[00:52:04]

What'd you rhyme Dobbs with Romeo without Romeo?

[00:52:08]

I don't know if it is. It is. It is.

[00:52:10]

It was, unfortunately, a slight. A little slight to Romeo.

[00:52:14]

I love this. It's in your wedding vow.

[00:52:16]

Only. Only because that was the.

[00:52:18]

At the time, I didn't know who had been traded. I was nervous, and I was.

[00:52:22]

I love that you picked him.

[00:52:23]

I picked him.

[00:52:24]

I love him.

[00:52:24]

And it's because Nick always says, catch.

[00:52:26]

The fucking ball, Romeo.

[00:52:28]

Not even Romeo, but, like, every once in a while when a receiver drops the ball, catch the fucking ball, you know? And I swear and I yell, and.

[00:52:35]

I guess I put that in my vow. Anyways, so how do we feel about Taylor Swift?

[00:52:39]

Yeah. Taylor Swift was a. Was a wonderful addition to the NFL. It was a wonderful addition to our show. We suddenly had new viewers from all over because they were like, all right, I like this football, and I know Travis pretty well. I've known Travis for many years. And then every summer, I do a charity event in Kansas City called the Big Slick. And it's. It's run by, you know, Jason Sudeikis, Paul Rudd, Eric Stone Street, Heidi Gardner, like, big Hollywood celebrities. And they bring in the chiefs. And Kelsey and Mahomes have been a part of it for years. And, like, Kelsey's the fucking man. Like, he's so cool and he's, like, legit. And I was worried this offseason. I'm like, all right. I've known him for ten years, covering them cool as hell, and I'm like, all right, let's see what this guy is he's going to come in and start, who knows? This summer, he was so cool, so down to earth, and he doesn't have to attend this thing. This is a charity event. It's for a children's hospital in Kansas city. And Travis not only attends it goes the extra mile, he's throwing footballs to kids.

[00:53:37]

He's doing comedy bits, and he takes the piss out of the whole Taylor Swift thing. Like Sudeikis and Rudd and these guys, they're busting chops, and he's cool with it. He's confident in himself. So I think he's an awesome dude. I hope it all works out for them. But, like, for her to enter the NFL, I know a lot of people were, like, resistant. Like, get her off the screen. I want to look at my football. That's neanderthals talking, like, the dumbest thing. If she added one more viewer, whether it be a boy, girl, whoever that, like, is now suddenly interested in the storylines of football, I think that was really.

[00:54:08]

That was really cool.

[00:54:09]

Any tea on any, like, celebrity dating NFL players out there? Who's the next Taylor Swift to enter in? Maybe the NFL. Cause I feel like Taylor's really made dating NFL players cool. Cool.

[00:54:22]

So there's a couple cool couples, I think Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens is cool.

[00:54:26]

Former Packer Jonathan Owens.

[00:54:27]

He's played for the packers.

[00:54:28]

What did you make of Simone showing up in a Packer at Bears practice?

[00:54:31]

She goes to a Bears preseason game, and she's wearing a coat that's got pictures of Jonathan all over it. And he used to be a Packer, but there's giant packers logos all over it, so that's a faux pas. But I'm not gonna crush it. She don't care. She's a mobile. She's Simone Biles. Kyle use check and his wife Kristen are a cool couple. She's the one who designs these awesome outfits out of the jerseys, and Taylor was wearing a bunch of those. I've known Kristen forever. She's the long island girl. She's cool as she believe.

[00:54:55]

She listens to the show.

[00:54:56]

Does she? All right, so she's been on. She. She's awesome. I'm trying to think. I'm going blank. Is there any quarterbacks that are dating celebrities right now other than that?

[00:55:04]

Quarterbacks? Well, we got Russell Wilson dating Sierra.

[00:55:07]

That's. They're married to.

[00:55:09]

Yeah.

[00:55:09]

Dating Russia. Russ has taken a hit, like, as far as, like, reputation wise. Cuz now he's on his third team in like, four years. He's got the starting quarterback at the Pittsburgh series. If he's good, he's, like, bigger than ever.

[00:55:19]

How do you feel about Will Levis?

[00:55:21]

I love Will. Is he. Is he dating a friend?

[00:55:24]

Dating my best friend, Victoria Fuller.

[00:55:26]

Will's the man. All right. Now, Will, from Madison, Connecticut, like, small town up in Connecticut. An absolute physical specimen, but another guy, very self awareness, and I'm sure you know this, but for the listeners, like, he came out of the draft and he should have been a first round pick, and he slipped to the second round. I thought that was B's. I thought he was awesome in the pre draft process, but whatever reason, he slipped, and one of the things they said that he was quirky with was, like, some of these weird eating habits that he has. So will Levis apparently eats a banana and then eats the peel as well.

[00:55:57]

What?

[00:55:58]

Okay. And that's why he fell to the second round timeout.

[00:56:01]

He also reportedly, and this is what he said during, like, his interviews with teams, he puts mayonnaise in his coffee. Okay, no, wait. Now here's why I respect will Levis. Everyone shits on him. They say, what a weirdo. That's so strange. He goes out there, he balls out in his rookie season, he's going to be the starting quarterback. The Titans love him. All stuff. This offseason, signs a huge deal with Hellman's, doing commercials for mayonnaise, and he's like, I'm leaning into it. I'm not running away from it.

[00:56:28]

That's a man who's comfortable in his skin. Sure is a green flag.

[00:56:31]

And I love the fact that he did fall to the second round because he's been disrespected, has a chip on his shoulder, and I think, think. I think he is a smooth cat. I really got to know him from afar. His offensive coordinator in college was a guy named Liam Cohen. Liam is now with the Buccaneers as their offensive coordinator, but he raves about what will Levis was about back in his college days. So, like, I'm cool with that. If you're a cool kid in college and you're the big man on campus and you treat everyone great, you're going to have a good NFL career.

[00:56:59]

Do you think will will get that desired second contract?

[00:57:04]

Oh, it's early.

[00:57:05]

This is early.

[00:57:06]

This is a huge year. He got the right coach. Brian Callahan is a new offensive coach. He was Joe Burrows coach for many years on the offensive side of the ball. And I love his new OC guy named Nick Holes. So, like, the right people are there.

[00:57:17]

He'S in the right situation.

[00:57:18]

Calvin Ridley.

[00:57:19]

He's got Pauler weapons.

[00:57:20]

What's his girlfriend's name?

[00:57:22]

Victoria Fuller.

[00:57:23]

What's her story?

[00:57:24]

She was on bachelor. Okay.

[00:57:26]

She is the only one time who famously canceled her own hometown.

[00:57:30]

She did.

[00:57:30]

She. Okay.

[00:57:31]

She's.

[00:57:33]

She's a firecracker.

[00:57:34]

You like her lover? She loves funny. She's great because he's got a big personality, but, like, he's not a bigger than Victoria. Okay.

[00:57:41]

She says she's the funny one.

[00:57:42]

And they're. And they are publicly a couple.

[00:57:44]

Yes, they are.

[00:57:45]

Oh, you guys have a will. Michelle.

[00:57:46]

He's posting her left and right. He's. He hard launched the relationship.

[00:57:50]

We're going to the Tennessee's backer game and then out to dinner. And I promise I would.

[00:57:56]

Where is that, Nashville or Green Bay? I want to come to this.

[00:57:59]

Please come. We're begging.

[00:58:00]

What week is that?

[00:58:01]

22Nd. September 22.

[00:58:03]

All right. I love that.

[00:58:04]

Bring your wife.

[00:58:05]

Such a great wife.

[00:58:06]

Erica. Erica's coming.

[00:58:08]

Nashville will be a little.

[00:58:09]

Tear it up.

[00:58:09]

Yeah. A little triple date.

[00:58:11]

Do you guys, what do we think of Nashville as a city? I feel like it's a big bachelorette. We love it. Okay, cool. We love it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:58:18]

Hopefully we'll be there one day.

[00:58:20]

I know.

[00:58:21]

Interesting. So, okay. Because, like, I've tried to explain to Natalie when. When we found out Victoria dating. Yeah.

[00:58:27]

Cool guy.

[00:58:27]

But, like, this is a big. He said, like, the next three years will change.

[00:58:32]

The next year is very important.

[00:58:35]

Very.

[00:58:35]

If he gets out to a good first season as a starter because he was the backup last year for most of it. Like, his life is, like, set. Because they want, like, the entire. The ownership group. Like, they moved on from a head coach. I was there for many years, Mike Vrabel. And they went out of their way to hire this, like, really smart, offensive minded quarterback whisperer coach to make the most out of Will Levis. So they're all in. Like, so he's got all the tools now.

[00:59:00]

And even if he's, like, average, he'll.

[00:59:02]

Get the big contract, 50 million. But he's gotta wait. It's got.

[00:59:06]

He'll be like, good this season because they don't play in preseason game.

[00:59:10]

No. Yeah. So from everything you hear, like, I talked to Brian and Nick, who's his offensive coordinator, they're like, this guy's the dude. Like, he's the man. So I'm in.

[00:59:18]

That's exciting.

[00:59:18]

Arrows pointing up.

[00:59:19]

I think they're like a sleeper team, too, in the AFC. The Tennessee Titans wait, who?

[00:59:24]

Someone.

[00:59:24]

Jamie Erdo, my co host, picked me go to the playoffs, which is a really big ask and a loaded AFC. But, like, I think Levis is, is, is the real deal. He had a play last year where he, like, trucked a dude, and that's something that a quarterback wouldn't usually do. When I say truck it, like, you run over someone. And it was against the Dolphins and it was a big comeback on Monday night. It was this wild game. And quarterbacks, usually the divas, they don't want to get hit. They run out of bounds and like, will Levis lowered his shoulder and, like, lowered the, lowered the boom or whatever.

[00:59:50]

And it was like Victoria's like, that's my man.

[00:59:52]

Victoria's like, Victoria's like, all right, will. Yeah.

[00:59:55]

You predicted that Aaron Rodgers gonna win MVP.

[00:59:57]

I did. 41 years old, coming off an ACL. Yes.

[01:00:01]

That's a smart pick because all they have to do is make the playoffs out and he just has to be Aaron Rodgers is there.

[01:00:08]

Okay, so in the reality tv world, this is gonna sound very insulting, but is there a person or a group or even just losers for years? Just like, you watch it and it's just, oh, and you don't want to say names. It's fine. That's the jets fan base. It has been 13 years since the jets went to a playoff game last year. They were so excited. Rogers is this MVP coming to the team four plays into the season. He goes down with an injury, misses the entire season. They suck. And they spent the entire offseason this year with, like, no one talking about them. But quietly, Aaron Rodgers is in the best shape of his life. They added all these new players around. No one's talking about Rogers. No one's talking about the jets. So I'm hanging my name on Aaron Rodgers big comeback season. And for jets fans who have been just plagued with, just miserable, I mean, think about the toughest losses you've watched him suffer with the packers. Think about that for like 2020 years. That's the jets fan base just constantly being punched in the gut. And then this Rogers thing last year, I think they're going to be really good.

[01:01:11]

And I think Rogers, 41, is going.

[01:01:13]

To win if the NFL is scripted, which I don't think it is, but people love to, just like, people love to speculate. Reality tv being scripted in fake. People love to speculate about the NFL.

[01:01:23]

Yep.

[01:01:23]

What is the NFL's dream Super bowl? Yeah. Minus, like, let's, let's take the swift element out of it.

[01:01:30]

Even so, Patrick Mahomes and Travis, Kelsey and Andy Reid going at it again, and then that big, beautiful blue star from Dallas.

[01:01:37]

That's their dream.

[01:01:38]

Their dream. I mean, you get the Cowboys fan base. It's true. America's. It's not the best story, necessarily, but if you can bring in Jerry Jones to New Orleans, where the Super bowl is, and his cast of characters, and it's Cowboys Chiefs, which has great history from, you know, the chief started off Texas. I mean, it would be a mega one.

[01:01:56]

Where does packers versus jets, Rogers versus the packers fall into?

[01:02:01]

That would be unbelievable. In New Orleans, where the packers won a Super bowl.

[01:02:05]

Yeah. In 96.

[01:02:06]

Yeah, that would be special. Packers jets would be massive. But I think Packers Chiefs, which was Super bowl one, would be epic as well. So that's good.

[01:02:17]

Who is your team?

[01:02:18]

I grew up a New York Giants fan. I grew up in freehold, New Jersey, the Jersey Shore, and I grew up a die hard Giants fan. And I was the kid that would have football almanacs and football cards, and I would just memorize statistics and memorize where the kid, where the players went to college, and everyone would be like, that's a weird hobby, and now I'm doing it for a living. So that's my story to all of.

[01:02:37]

You at home, how did you get into.

[01:02:38]

I didn't go to school to be a broadcaster. I graduated Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a political science degree. My parents were like, all right, you'll go to law school.

[01:02:48]

And I'm like, yeah, let me. Let me see.

[01:02:50]

And I was a freelance sports writer for many years, and I wrote a big story on Victor Cruz for GQ magazine. Victor Cruz was this cool giants wide receiver who did a salsa dance, and he had a little flair to him, and he was, like, the first, like, undrafted free agent. Undrafted free agent out of UMass, like, the first, like, latino american superstar in New York City for football. And I wrote this 200 word article. It was like, whatever, but it was a cool, cool shot, and he liked it. And then they go on to win the Super bowl, and about two weeks later, I get a call from his agent, some big Hollywood firm. They're like, victor just got a major book deal, and he doesn't want to write it with some old man that's like, a beat reporter from the Giants. Doesn't want to write it with someone. He wants to write it with the kid who wrote the GQ article, would you want to write a book with him? So I was like, sure. So for, like, three months, I would, like, take a train. I was living in New York City to, like, suburban New Jersey.

[01:03:43]

I would be with him. I would be sitting there. He'd be playing video games. I'd be like, with a recorder on, like, just tell me your life story. And then we went up and, like, we went into, like, where he grew up in Paterson, New Jersey. Wrote the book. We felt like he's a brother of mine. Like, we had an amazing time. Books on, New York Times bestseller. It's a huge hit. And then Fox, who I'd been writing for, for years, was like, do you want to try out being a sideline reporter like Aaron Andrews or one of the. So I did sidelines for years, and I was doing well there. And then NFL Network called and was like, we're doing a morning show out in New York. Would you want to be one of the hosts? And the rest is history, so.

[01:04:16]

Wow. Magical.

[01:04:19]

The victor made my career.

[01:04:20]

That's pretty good. I met him before.

[01:04:22]

Cool guy.

[01:04:22]

Really, really nice.

[01:04:23]

Really cool guy. And he's made a cool, like, post playing career where he's, like, a fashion influencer and it's into golf, so he's the man. Yeah.

[01:04:30]

Peter's a big deal in the NFL, but I think his stars only beginning to get right. He's a big deal. Like, he's right now. You're having a bunch of people starting to fight over Peter. He's a young, talented guy.

[01:04:40]

That's cool.

[01:04:41]

You got your other. You got your Ian rapper, Porsche, different vibes.

[01:04:44]

So, like, there's guys. So let me explain. So, like, Ian Rappaport works for me. Good dude. And Adam Schefter's on ESPN and Jay Glazer's on Fox. And these guys break news. So what they do is it's like, boom. Jordan love got a new contract, first one to it, and it's massive. Important job. And those guys are awesome at what they do. I like, to the next 24 hours, kind of tell you how it all went down. So I'll be like, all right, so this is what happened. Like, here, let me tell you the story behind it. I like to consider myself more of a storyteller. Yeah.

[01:05:09]

And, like, the other guys, again, respect them, love them, big fan.

[01:05:12]

They're not asked to do that stuff.

[01:05:13]

But Peter's like the guy who's like, yeah, I was hanging out with him. I was there. I'm the fly on the wall. And he's like, homies with all them. It's a great angle.

[01:05:23]

And there's like this whole generation of coaches that I kind of grew up with in the industry. So I mentioned McVeigh, which his wedding, LaFleur. We had a blast at. It was like a who's who of NFL coaches, and I was at the table with them, and it was great. It was a couple of years ago, but, like, my guys, it's, you know, Cliff Kingsbury.

[01:05:38]

Do you know Kingsbury offensive coordinator?

[01:05:41]

I think he'd be a really fun guest to have on this thing. So Cliff is. I hope he doesn't. Cliff's a single guy, really good looking. He lived in Arizona where he was the head coach of the Cardinals.

[01:05:50]

How old is he?

[01:05:51]

It's like 42, 43. Has a really, really cool life story where he's like, he loves football, but when football season's not going on, like, he is just an awesome dude who hangs with DJ's and comedians and lives a real life. And he is one of these guys. Yeah, but not in a douchey way. Yeah. And not in like a look at me way, but really tight with him. And we celebrated his birthday this year. Like, this isn't me. And a lot of NFL fans, like, ugh, stop name dropping. Who gives it? But out of that becomes, all right. Let me give you information that's going to help you follow the game that you're not going to get anywhere else. And that's kind of my niche.

[01:06:26]

Wow. Yeah, no, I'll be like, Nick, what do you want for supper? Like, well, Peter.

[01:06:32]

Told you. It's a. It's a mutual.

[01:06:34]

Jaden Daniels will.

[01:06:35]

Yes.

[01:06:36]

Yes, I'm Jaden.

[01:06:37]

Yeah.

[01:06:38]

I have drafted him.

[01:06:39]

Yes. In your fantasy league? Yeah.

[01:06:41]

I tried to draft Bijon because I know you. I saw you said. I saw you said pick him number one.

[01:06:46]

Unbelievable. Doubt. Does fantasy football, does that take over anything or. Not really.

[01:06:50]

I'm pretty chill.

[01:06:51]

He's pretty chill about it. But it is just like, it's an imaginary. It's your imaginary team. It's all just, like, in your head. Like, so silly.

[01:06:59]

I'm way more of a football fan.

[01:07:00]

Than football because I'll get, and I said this, and I mean that. I will get a once a year text from, like, ten people in my phone, usually d bags that I don't want to even talk to, being like, yo, give me your fantasy sleepers. And I'm like, I don't work for you. I don't like. If you don't talk to me, except for that one day where you have your fantasy draft, you ain't my friend. And also, I don't really do fantasy football as much. Fantasy football is kind of like, for me. I understand it because it gives you camaraderie and the win money.

[01:07:28]

Yeah.

[01:07:28]

So why don't you do it? Well, he.

[01:07:30]

I can. I work. But I would say I'm curious. Who's your league with? Is it high school boys? Is it.

[01:07:37]

Is it reality star league with my hometown friends?

[01:07:41]

Love that.

[01:07:41]

And then a bunch of bachelor guys.

[01:07:43]

Okay.

[01:07:43]

And the bachelor draft, I think, is tomorrow.

[01:07:45]

Please tell me it's in person. I love it in person.

[01:07:47]

Unfortunately not be.

[01:07:50]

Who's in the. Let me hear the roster of these guys. Let me hear the bachelor. Yeah.

[01:07:53]

We got Jason Tartar.

[01:07:55]

Okay.

[01:07:55]

We got Matt James. We got Jared. We got.

[01:07:58]

I met Matt James at an event. What a cool guy.

[01:08:00]

Really great guy. Very nice.

[01:08:01]

Wake Forest also played ball. Okay. Sorry. Interrupted. I like Jason, too. What's his wife's name? They do good stuff on instagram.

[01:08:07]

Well, they ended it.

[01:08:09]

They. They ended that relationship. He's got a new girlfriend.

[01:08:12]

Her name's cat.

[01:08:13]

Yeah, I'm talking about cat.

[01:08:14]

I'm talking about cat. I'm team cat.

[01:08:16]

Hell, yeah.

[01:08:17]

Team cat.

[01:08:18]

Oh, God. All right, this is good.

[01:08:21]

Who else do you have?

[01:08:21]

I like this because I'm. Oh, Tyler, right? Tyler's a stud.

[01:08:25]

Tanner's got to be in it.

[01:08:26]

Tanner's in there.

[01:08:28]

I saw Tyler at a golf event this summer. He's. He's an incredible looking man. He's also a great golfer.

[01:08:33]

Great guy. Great dude. Really good looking.

[01:08:36]

We were at the St. The St. James open. It was an iced tea company that they invited us. And you have to play in this next summer. It's great. It's in Jersey.

[01:08:42]

Okay.

[01:08:43]

Do you play golf?

[01:08:45]

I play.

[01:08:45]

Do you?

[01:08:46]

Ben Higgins.

[01:08:47]

I like Ben.

[01:08:48]

Yeah.

[01:08:49]

Ben's from Indianapolis, if I remember.

[01:08:50]

He is.

[01:08:51]

I remember watching his season. I liked him.

[01:08:52]

Now you're showing off Andrew Spencer. Don't know Andrew and one of the head producers.

[01:08:57]

What a great lineup that is.

[01:08:59]

Like, to me as a consumer, nick, like, film that and monetize it. I would love to watch you guys all eating wings and having, like, chips.

[01:09:07]

And, like, we should get together.

[01:09:09]

That is a great event for all kind of a lot of us.

[01:09:12]

That's the event.

[01:09:14]

That's the event. Aren't people going to be in town this weekend for that wedding?

[01:09:17]

Yeah. Who's getting married?

[01:09:19]

Get everyone together and film a little content for star.

[01:09:22]

Joe's in there, as well.

[01:09:25]

Joe? Mobiley grocery store Joe. You don't know?

[01:09:28]

No one's. There's a couple seasons. I miss.

[01:09:31]

You did, you did really good.

[01:09:32]

You knew Ben was from Indiana. That's strong.

[01:09:34]

What was the race car driver?

[01:09:35]

Re not in.

[01:09:37]

It's not in the lead. Re the race car driver from Arizona. Remember these guys? I go back to Mesnick in Seattle with the walking on the water. I remember all that. Yeah.

[01:09:46]

The Bachelorette still goes back to Mesnick, too. They're like, it's the ones. The one really that's still together. Bring them back. They do that. All right, before we let Peter go, we have a game. We're going to do this every Thursday now.

[01:09:57]

Oh, my gosh.

[01:09:58]

On reality recap.

[01:09:59]

Every Thursday. It's a big commitment.

[01:10:01]

We're going to pick two NFL games.

[01:10:02]

Okay.

[01:10:03]

We're going to pick two NFL games.

[01:10:04]

How about you say we're going to try it this week, and if it works, that's a huge commitment. That is 22 weeks of content. Like the viewers, I want to find.

[01:10:13]

A way for our audience, who is mostly women.

[01:10:16]

Okay.

[01:10:17]

Women watch sports. I don't know how much of our audience are NFL fans, but for all the people who don't watch, we're still gonna make it fun.

[01:10:24]

I love this. Okay.

[01:10:24]

We're gonna make it fun. It's called NFL matchups. Based off vibes.

[01:10:28]

Based off vibes.

[01:10:29]

So two. We're gonna pick two games every week. Peter and I are gonna pick who we think are gonna win based off of NFL love that Justin, Sierra, and Natalie are gonna pick the games based off of vibes.

[01:10:42]

Sierra's face just went blue.

[01:10:43]

Natalie has an advantage. You know some things.

[01:10:46]

I know a little something.

[01:10:47]

I know nothing.

[01:10:48]

That's okay. Well, when do you ever do?

[01:10:50]

You probably don't even. Are you even allowed to bet?

[01:10:52]

No.

[01:10:52]

Yeah.

[01:10:53]

League employee cannot bet on the end.

[01:10:55]

You would make so much money.

[01:10:56]

No, I'd probably lose a lot. That's it.

[01:10:58]

Honestly, it probably would affect his picks. It would. Just your body.

[01:11:02]

It also was pretty arrogant to me. I'm like, I'm above betting on games. Like, I just. I know too much.

[01:11:08]

I mean, picking five of the Super bowl matchups in a row is great.

[01:11:13]

Very proud of myself.

[01:11:14]

Pittsburgh Steelers versus the Atlanta Falcons.

[01:11:16]

Random game. I love that.

[01:11:18]

All right, let's see. We got Russell Wilson is dating or married to, I think, married pop star Sierra.

[01:11:25]

Yeah, married.

[01:11:26]

Okay.

[01:11:27]

It is owned by the.

[01:11:28]

Love it. When you want to step. Everybody want to step.

[01:11:32]

Okay.

[01:11:32]

No one to step.

[01:11:33]

I do. I'll be stepping a bit of.

[01:11:35]

A bit of a quarterback controversy in Pittsburgh. You have Russell Wilson Super bowl winner.

[01:11:40]

Okay.

[01:11:41]

But hasn't been playing very well lately, is starting, but his backup is waiting in the wings. First round draft pick, formerly Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields.

[01:11:52]

Justin Fields represent.

[01:11:55]

He's the old Bears quarterback. We like the name Justin.

[01:11:58]

We like the name Justin, the vibe.

[01:12:00]

But Russ was named the number one guy. But it's kind of like short leash, we think.

[01:12:03]

A little fun fact about Pittsburgh Steelers. They were featured in the movie the Dark Knighthood with the joke. Yeah. Heinz Ward actually had a little cameo in there.

[01:12:13]

Bill cower.

[01:12:14]

Yep. Yeah.

[01:12:15]

Okay.

[01:12:15]

So movie stars.

[01:12:17]

Movie star.

[01:12:17]

Movie stars.

[01:12:18]

Can I get one more Pittsburgh? I like giving little stuff more Pittsburgh thing. Their offensive coordinator, which is like the guy who calls the plays the head coach of the Falcons last year, and he's facing a team that he knows inside and out.

[01:12:29]

His first game.

[01:12:30]

His first game is the immediately Steelers.

[01:12:33]

Okay, well, but then some Falcon fans would say he's fired for a reason.

[01:12:36]

Like he did.

[01:12:39]

He lost his job because he didn't leave. They fired him.

[01:12:42]

They fired him. It definitely wasn't like at a quit situation. It was, we don't.

[01:12:46]

But it wasn't because he's bad at his job.

[01:12:49]

Some would say the Steelers stole the coat.

[01:12:51]

Okay, now the flip side, we have the Atlanta Falcons. Their quarterback is one Kirk Cousins, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings. Vikings. They paid him $100 million guaranteed.

[01:13:02]

But who are Kirk's cousins?

[01:13:04]

That's great question.

[01:13:05]

Right?

[01:13:05]

I don't even know how many, how many cousins is Kirk?

[01:13:07]

How many cousins is Kirk?

[01:13:09]

Honestly, though, do you guys know who Kirk Cousins is?

[01:13:11]

I feel like I've heard that it.

[01:13:12]

Was on that show.

[01:13:13]

Yes.

[01:13:13]

The quarterback.

[01:13:14]

Yes.

[01:13:14]

Yes.

[01:13:15]

So he also, along with Aaron Rodgers, blew out his Achilles last year.

[01:13:19]

He's packers.

[01:13:21]

They gave him a hundred million dollars. And then the next day. I'm exaggerating on the next day. Day. But the next day drafted a quarterback in the first round, citing the success that the packers had, saying, hey, yeah, we paid this guy a bunch of money, but we're also going to invest in this young guy. And Kirk was pissed. Kirk is not happy about this.

[01:13:41]

He has since come to terms. He's fine. He's a great guy. But at first the reaction was a shock.

[01:13:44]

It was definitely a WTF.

[01:13:46]

I'm going to go with Steelers because falcons have never been good ever in their lives.

[01:13:50]

What do we know about the Falcons?

[01:13:51]

None of Atlanta's teams have ever good.

[01:13:53]

Well, there was that one year they.

[01:13:54]

Did, they did go to the Super bowl in 2016 and in 99 they went as well.

[01:13:59]

Do you know what a Steeler is?

[01:14:01]

Great question.

[01:14:01]

Yes, I was arrested for that when I was 13.

[01:14:05]

That's clever. I like that.

[01:14:06]

I do know what that is.

[01:14:09]

It was in a cv's.

[01:14:12]

Known as the steel sit. Steel town. Steel city. A lot of steel work.

[01:14:18]

Okay.

[01:14:19]

Like the packers, us steel packers.

[01:14:21]

They pack a lot of meat.

[01:14:23]

I think it's me. I don't even know, honestly. They go meat pack.

[01:14:26]

I think it was based off of me.

[01:14:28]

Packers. So you, you're gonna.

[01:14:29]

I'm going Steelers.

[01:14:30]

You're gonna go Steelers.

[01:14:31]

Same follower.

[01:14:32]

Wait, what were the facts for the Ravens or the Falcon?

[01:14:34]

Good question.

[01:14:37]

They have. They have a quarterback who just play for the Vikings and a bit of a quarterback. Two teams that kind of have a bit of a quarterback controversy.

[01:14:44]

Which one is Justin playd for Steelers.

[01:14:46]

But he's not gonna play.

[01:14:48]

I know you like Mascot Freddy the Falcon.

[01:14:50]

Yep.

[01:14:51]

Who is terrifying, but in a fun way and does have a cute name.

[01:14:55]

Freddy the Falcon, who's our mascot for Steelers.

[01:14:59]

Mascot name is Steely McBean.

[01:15:01]

I've seen him.

[01:15:02]

He's cool.

[01:15:02]

I've seen that guy before.

[01:15:03]

No one really cares about him.

[01:15:04]

Oh, you don't see much of him, but, like, he's cool, but he's a.

[01:15:07]

Steel worker, so that is very honorable.

[01:15:09]

That's Freddie the Falcon we're looking at.

[01:15:11]

He is cute.

[01:15:12]

Yeah, he's adorable.

[01:15:13]

Like Ludacris performed last year. They don't like 50 years of hip hop thing. And like, Freddie the Falcon was in the mix. Like, he was like, Atlanta, get out the way. Like doing the whole thing.

[01:15:22]

Is it at Pittsburgh?

[01:15:23]

Wow. Is it home?

[01:15:25]

Where's the game? I don't know. I think it's in Atlanta.

[01:15:27]

This is Pittsburgh versus Atlanta. I'm gonna say you're gonna go.

[01:15:31]

We are going. Our team. We're the vibe team. We're going Steelers.

[01:15:35]

I'm gonna go Atlanta. They really invested in their roster. They've got a lot of layers.

[01:15:41]

Invested.

[01:15:42]

In their picking based off vibes for.

[01:15:47]

Collecting the vibes, though.

[01:15:53]

Black and red.

[01:15:53]

This is weekly Thursday.

[01:15:55]

Yellow.

[01:15:56]

Like it?

[01:15:57]

Black and yellow.

[01:15:58]

Black and yellow. Yeah.

[01:15:59]

We're going Steelers. We're going Steelers.

[01:16:01]

All right.

[01:16:02]

I think Drake London might pop off and Drake London.

[01:16:06]

You didn't share that name with us.

[01:16:07]

Cool name, right?

[01:16:08]

Right? Yeah.

[01:16:09]

That's a very gen. Having an unfair advantage.

[01:16:12]

The point of the segment is to see at the end of the season who did better. You guys who don't give a shit.

[01:16:17]

Okay. So that is a game that's a game this week we want.

[01:16:20]

That's what we want. If you win.

[01:16:21]

Okay. No, that will be fun.

[01:16:22]

Definitely a good chance.

[01:16:24]

I bet you that you guys do better than Nick over the course of a season. That's how that's they say with the NFL, it's any given Sunday.

[01:16:30]

Who are you picking? Peter.

[01:16:31]

All right, so there's a guy on the Falcons. Let me, let's google him in his image right here.

[01:16:36]

Bring him up.

[01:16:36]

Bijan. B I j a N has a mustard deal. Robinson, who does have a mustard deal with Dijon. Can we get an image? This guy is such a cool looking, cool player. And he was so good underutilized last year. Bijon Robinson. I think he's going to go absolutely bonkers. So I'm going to say Atlanta Falcons based on the explosion of Bijan. Cool name.

[01:16:57]

Can I ask you just a personal question?

[01:16:59]

Yeah.

[01:17:00]

The running back for the jets.

[01:17:01]

Look how cool he looks.

[01:17:02]

Cool. Look at that hair.

[01:17:04]

Yeah. I got him fourth overall in my pick.

[01:17:06]

Oh, brace is gonna be great.

[01:17:07]

He's gonna be great.

[01:17:08]

Yeah. Great. Great. Hall.

[01:17:09]

Yeah.

[01:17:11]

You're doing what Peter hates.

[01:17:12]

No, I like it. No, he and I talk, though. It's the guy that's like wife's friend from works. Husband I met at a happy hour.

[01:17:20]

The draft.

[01:17:20]

Didn't we all meet? Where were we in the Super Bowl? Craig's. Wasn't that great?

[01:17:25]

Didn't we go to.

[01:17:26]

Yeah, it was a super NFL event. We saw no Justin Bieber.

[01:17:30]

Yes.

[01:17:30]

And we saw, and I was talking his ear off and you're like, let's go on. Yeah.

[01:17:37]

All right, so that was a fun.

[01:17:38]

Super bowl, that LA Super bowl.

[01:17:39]

Yeah. Vibes are going. Pittsburgh Steelers.

[01:17:42]

Knowledge, knowledge.

[01:17:43]

Atlanta falcons.

[01:17:44]

Okay.

[01:17:44]

You guys could definitely win. All right, game two. We got Jacksonville jaguars versus the Miami dolphins. We have a jaguar versus a fish.

[01:17:52]

Yep.

[01:17:53]

Well, our dolphins fish. They're mammals. Okay, two mammals. Jackson is from, again, Jacksonville, Florida. You may know your dad lives there, so they're Augustine. But yes, we got colors of the jaguars are teal and black and gold, according to Mary, in from our team. All in an ugly way.

[01:18:10]

Oh, great.

[01:18:11]

I mean, the dolphins are ugly. I've seen their colors, too.

[01:18:14]

Orange. Right?

[01:18:15]

Like, diamonds are also teal orange.

[01:18:17]

And do you know how hard these teams work to, like, put together uniforms and apparel that, like, will be, like, appealing to. To the eyes? And then Mary's like, they're all not awful.

[01:18:26]

Like, they're pretty colors, but in the ugliest shade, clashing.

[01:18:30]

Miami Dolphins. They play in the hard rock stadium named after the hard rock in Miami. So there's that rock. Their coach is Mike McDaniels.

[01:18:39]

McDaniel.

[01:18:40]

Mike McDaniel.

[01:18:41]

I think we need to get a picture of swaggy Mike.

[01:18:43]

Is he swaggy?

[01:18:44]

Well, you gotta. No, no. Show a picture of Mike when he was hired and then show right now.

[01:18:49]

No, literally, like, wait till you guys see this guy you want to talk about.

[01:18:53]

Looks like he's been Miami.

[01:18:54]

He's been Miami. Fight so much, he showed up as, like, a pencil pushing, like, like. And now wait. All right, let's see the original.

[01:19:01]

Oh, no, not.

[01:19:03]

That one's out.

[01:19:04]

The other one.

[01:19:04]

The down. Down. Down. I don't want to spoil it with a new one.

[01:19:10]

Yeah, that one.

[01:19:11]

That one's fine.

[01:19:12]

That's what's fine. He got one's.

[01:19:13]

It's giving. Yeah, it's giving. Pencil pusher, for sure.

[01:19:15]

Now, keep.

[01:19:16]

How do we get 2024? Mike McDaniel, press conference.

[01:19:19]

Ooh, press conference. Like, you're like, Wednesday, September 23. He was on a press conference.

[01:19:25]

You know that one? That one there?

[01:19:27]

Down. Even down. More lower. Yeah, right there.

[01:19:30]

Sunglasses with the tinted sunglasses. That one. That's what he looks like now.

[01:19:37]

It looks a little rough.

[01:19:39]

He's gotten tan.

[01:19:41]

Yeah.

[01:19:41]

He's got the shades on. He's curled up his hair.

[01:19:45]

He shows up to game and, like, a Bentley. And he's got the Rolex. Like, he is swag bag out. He wears a man bag.

[01:19:52]

He loves a bag. He actually loves a bag.

[01:19:55]

And he's also an absolute genius. Really good in x's and o's on how to get guys open. And they have the. The fastest team in all of football.

[01:20:04]

Okay.

[01:20:04]

They're just like. Like fast dudes.

[01:20:06]

All right, who's our coach with Jacksonville? Is he cool, or do you hate him?

[01:20:10]

Dougie P. Doug Peterson, former backup of the Green Bay Packers.

[01:20:14]

I feel like we need to go.

[01:20:16]

He won a Super bowl with the. Is the Eagles coach?

[01:20:19]

There's no. There's not necessarily a swag, but nice guy.

[01:20:24]

He looks nice.

[01:20:25]

There's no vibe with dog.

[01:20:27]

There's a good heart on him. I think I got a couple more facts.

[01:20:32]

Yeah, I like this. Great game. Actually. I was shooting on it to start.

[01:20:35]

This is good.

[01:20:36]

Give us.

[01:20:36]

The mascot is a jaguar named Jackson. Jackson Deville.

[01:20:41]

Yep. But tell him what Jackson DeVille does. You know what he does?

[01:20:43]

He's giving Cruella Deville.

[01:20:45]

Jackson DeVille will put on a Speedo and, like. And like, Mary writes various. It sounds like third picture, that's Jackson DeVille.

[01:20:53]

She's slaying. We like her. We like her.

[01:20:57]

Jackson's a queen.

[01:20:59]

What did Mary write on her commentary?

[01:21:01]

She goes, it sounds a lot like Jax Taylor. Yeah.

[01:21:04]

Oh, that's true.

[01:21:05]

Yikes.

[01:21:06]

Oh, yeah.

[01:21:06]

That's Jackson Deville. And, like, we'll shake his butt, like, after they score a touchdown.

[01:21:11]

Jax.

[01:21:12]

Jax Deville. I'm a big fan of jacks.

[01:21:15]

All right, who's our mascot? Is the dolphin. What's the name?

[01:21:18]

Is it an actual dolphin?

[01:21:19]

You might know them from the great movie ace. And pet detective was the star.

[01:21:25]

That's scary.

[01:21:25]

An actual dolphin.

[01:21:26]

That mascot is scary.

[01:21:28]

What's his name?

[01:21:29]

TD.

[01:21:30]

Boring.

[01:21:30]

Mary writes technically their fight song, the Dolphins is by Taideh Payne and Jimmy Buffett, featuring Pitbull.

[01:21:37]

Oh, my gosh.

[01:21:38]

I don't know this, but the song was only played at one game in 2009.

[01:21:43]

Oh, well, many years ago, we lost.

[01:21:47]

Jimmy Buffett, but before he passed, like, our one great regret is he didn't get to lay down a track.

[01:21:52]

Cheerleaders for the Jaguars. Their cheerleading team name is the roar of the Jaguars.

[01:21:56]

Very formal. Where's that game being played, Nick?

[01:22:03]

The game is being played, I believe, in Miami.

[01:22:06]

Okay. So historically, Miami is very good in September because it's so fortunate. Hot. It's like 100 degrees, and they've been practicing in that all summer.

[01:22:13]

Advantage.

[01:22:13]

Usually it's a cold weather team that comes. It might neutralize.

[01:22:18]

I'm go.

[01:22:19]

I think Jacksonville.

[01:22:20]

Jacksonville.

[01:22:21]

Trevor Lawrence quickly got quarterback of the Jaguars. Got married.

[01:22:26]

Yes.

[01:22:26]

Okay.

[01:22:27]

Got married. Over the off season, I believe a kid is on the way. Beautiful, long, luscious blonde hair. I saw him in a restaurant in Palm beach this spring. Went up to him, was cool as hell. I like him. I think he's cool. Tua. The quarterback of Miami. Also, I believe, a new dad. Alabama. Great dude. So you got two really good men as the quarterbacks.

[01:22:48]

Zachary.

[01:22:48]

Well, I hate Alabama so much so that I will be going Jacksonville. And I feel like me and my team, we love our queen, the mascot.

[01:22:56]

In the name of Cruella.

[01:22:57]

We love the name Cruella. Yes. And we also. What else do we like about Jacksonville? Their colors are a little bit better.

[01:23:04]

A little bit better. The dolphins colors are a little triggering.

[01:23:07]

A little better. And. And we love that their coach is an old soul.

[01:23:10]

Yeah.

[01:23:11]

We love that about him.

[01:23:12]

He's not wearing rolexes. Yeah.

[01:23:15]

For fans of the NBC sitcom the Good Place, the character, Jason Mendoza, was a huge Jacksonville van fan and would say the team name in a very funny and charming way on the show.

[01:23:26]

Okay.

[01:23:28]

Solidified. Yes. We're going with Jacksonville.

[01:23:30]

I love it.

[01:23:31]

Okay. Our knowledge, guys, who do you pick?

[01:23:33]

Miami Dolphins. They're very fast and they're very good. And Mike McDaniels is also very good. They have Tariq Hill. You know him.

[01:23:41]

I do know.

[01:23:42]

I'm gonna go with the Dolphins because a young man named grant DuBose, formerly of the Green Bay packers, was picked up by the Miami Dolphins.

[01:23:49]

It's a deep cut guy after.

[01:23:51]

After the cut downs. And I think a lot of Packer fans were very disappointed because he really balled out.

[01:23:55]

Really good preseason.

[01:23:56]

And I think the packers are just so goddamn deep at wide receiver that they just. They had to let him go, but he ended up in a good place because it's a very similar system. Matt and Mike, they're friends. Very similar system. They know each other. And so I think that's the other part about this.

[01:24:11]

It's like a soap opera in the NFL. All the coaches know each other, have worked with each other. Some hate each other. It's like the drama of the coaches as what I love, and it's, you know, it's what it is. I think. I think, as with you, I'm going to go with the Miami Dolphins. I think they just, they're too fast, they're too good at home, and they're going to come out of the gates. They always do. Like, they put up 70 points in a game last year in September. Like, I think they're the pickles.

[01:24:32]

Like slow jaguar.

[01:24:37]

The only reason why I was going to say Miami is because I've heard.

[01:24:39]

Of the Dolphins before, but, like, jaguars feel fat.

[01:24:43]

No, jaguars are good.

[01:24:45]

Watch. Jaguars and Steelers are gonna win handedly on Steele.

[01:24:48]

Hell, yeah. They're gonna get easily, both teams.

[01:24:50]

Those are good games. Those are random games. You just pick.

[01:24:52]

All right. Vibes or stats until next week. I like it. We'll discuss our winners.

[01:24:58]

I feel like we just bet, like, all of our life savings on this.

[01:25:00]

Game, and, like, it is intoxicating, isn't it?

[01:25:02]

It is so, like, this is what.

[01:25:03]

I do for a living. I have to pick these games. And it's like, now I'm, like, ten toes deep. Like, on these games, like, who's gonna win? I need to win.

[01:25:10]

Like, do you pick more on vibes or your knowledge?

[01:25:12]

A lot of times on vibes. Okay, what about you?

[01:25:15]

Go with your gut.

[01:25:16]

Go with your gut.

[01:25:16]

Yeah, I feel like we did that. Do we feel comfortable we won't have.

[01:25:20]

Underdogs I feel like Justin's like, we already won.

[01:25:22]

We won.

[01:25:23]

Whether the actual team wins or not, we won. Yeah, we're winners.

[01:25:26]

You know what? We won't be upset if we lost. So we win win.

[01:25:30]

That's it. But how great would it be Sunday when you're checking your phones, like, did the Japanese win?

[01:25:34]

I'm not gonna lie. I might text. I can be like, ha ha.

[01:25:38]

You very well may get that opportunity.

[01:25:40]

I might know.

[01:25:41]

That's the beautiful thing about this game. Yeah, Peter, we could do this forever.

[01:25:45]

I love this, guys. Thank you for having me. I'm a fan of your work. I think you guys are building a really cool thing here. I'm inspired by it. It's entrepreneurial, and you guys have a really dedicated fan base. So congrats on all the success, and I'll be listening and watching. Thanks for having me on.

[01:25:56]

Well, thank you for saying, where can my audience find you?

[01:26:00]

Yeah, so I do. I host the morning show on NFL Network every morning. Good morning football is what it's called. And then every Sunday, I am on the Fox pregame show at 08:00 a.m. pacific, 11:00 a.m. eastern called Fox NFL Kickoff. And you'll see this mug. I'm in a suit and tie. On that show, though it's a little formal, but, uh, yeah, I love what I do, and I can't wait to get the season started. And we'll see where we go from there.

[01:26:22]

Well, please come back. This has been very fun.

[01:26:24]

I loved it. Very fun.

[01:26:26]

Uh, well, let's say goodbye to Peter and let's talk about some bachelorette vessi. Vessi is a footwear company that makes waterproof, breathable shoes. What do they say? Uh, there's no time for, uh, you.

Know, beauty is pain.

[01:26:54]

Beauty is pain. Not with. Not with Vessi. Why do you need damp, uncomfortable feet? Unnecessary. Why do you need blisters on your feet? Unnecessary. Well, when your feet get wet, high likelihood of blisters. Not with Vessi. No, no, no. 100% waterproof sneakers.

[01:27:09]

[01:27:22]

Like you all have been boating. You've all accidentally got your feet wet. There's water on boats, people. Keep those feet dry. You can now go boating and a night out with keeping on the same shoes. Also, if you're just a city slicker, maybe don't boat, maybe you don't hike. It's great for that city walking because we all know there's a pothole around every corner in a city near you. So keep yourself warm, dry and comfortable. With Vessi, their westerly coach jacket is, well, I mean, it's a rainy coat, yes, but also very fashionable. Pairs with a lot of things. All right, finally, let's get to the bachelorette. What the fuck were the people who.

[01:30:27]

Make the show thinking they did Jen dirty?

[01:30:30]

All they care about was showing. We let our bachelorette propose. That's all they cared about, showing. They didn't care about protecting Jen.

[01:30:38]

Could you imagine, given what Devin did? And we'll get into how bizarre his behavior was, how unnecessary, how cruel, seemingly, his behavior was. And he's still not the biggest villain of the night, right?

[01:30:52]

Yeah, the producers are.

[01:30:53]

Yeah, he's neck and neck, but, yes.

[01:30:55]

You know, there's hundreds of producers work on this show. It's my understanding there's a lot of. A lot of people who work for that show are mortified this morning.

[01:31:01]

Oh, oh, please.

[01:31:02]

Are they way mortified about what? That people didn't receive the episode well?

[01:31:07]

Well, yeah, because I got a lot of the people who work on the show, like, they don't make these decisions after the final rows. This is like a higher up decision. It's like one or two people make these decisions.

[01:31:18]

I guess I'm just pissed at, like.

[01:31:20]

I'm not trying to defend. This is more like, there's people, like, I don't know if I did something right is people who work for this company and I went and made an executive decision, but we're going to do it this way. Right? And as a result of my decision, someone was hurt, and we. I embarrassed someone, and people were like, oh, everyone at nvmedia or the vial files. Like, how could you be like, wouldn't you feel a certain way about it? Right. Wouldn't you be kind of mortified if you're like, yeah, it wasn't like, it wasn't my fucking call. That's what I'm saying. I think there's a lot of that going on.

[01:31:50]

Sure.

[01:31:50]

But I think there's also, like, a lot of people who could have been like, I don't want to be involved in this. Jesse Palmer, it seems like there could he not have been like, hey, I don't feel comfortable sitting here and watching her sob as we show this, like, beautiful engagement.

[01:32:07]

I thought they were doing that, too, because they were like, we're not going to show it. We're not going to show it. And then I was like, okay, this is kind of, I see it. I see it. That makes sense. And then he was like, well, can we show it? And Jen's like, literally have a choice.

[01:32:17]

He's like, so let's watch it. And everyone's like, I don't think we.

[01:32:20]

Even her. She's like, I think now he's right. I think whoever the producer was who's it was their big idea to tell Jen that she should be the one to propose to Devin as, like, this big first time moment. It's never happened. Every season, they want to have a like, this has never happened. So one of the people in charge, I'm guessing, went to Jen during the finale and was like, you should propose to Devin also, by the way. Like, why do they, you know, and this is, I don't even, this is not a criticism for Jen, but you're not picking yourself just because you proposed to someone else that, I mean, Jen kept saying, I'm choosing me. It's like, what?

[01:32:55]

Well, I can see that part.

[01:32:56]

I don't know. It does seem like a reach. But anyways, I don't even think that was Jen's idea. I think that was something that was fed to her. I think it was an idea given to her. I think she went along with it. She played ball, and then the relationship didn't work out. And then after the, at the finale, going into the finale, whoever's idea that was cared more about that moment and getting credit for that moment and having that moment still have its moment. And they didn't give a fuck about their bachelorette or their feelings or the fact that the first or maybe arguably the second time ever one of their bachelorettes showed up to afar as a single woman. And that can be, very, well, embarrassing. It can be. It's not embarrassing for Jen, to be clear, but it can feel embarrassing. You have a lot of pressure. You compare yourself to the past leads you want to have a love story? Story. It's a terrible position that Jen was put in and the producers or producer or whoever made that decision. Fuck. And I don't fault Jesse. I. I think Jesse's in a really tough spot.

[01:33:51]

Jesse. He's also, like, calling college games. Jesse literally shows up for a job. He shows up. He's like, what do you want me to say? What should I do? It's a telefucking prompter. He's reading it. Yeah. I mean, could he have stepped up? Sure. But I think the blame goes way more on whose ever idea this was in the moment. Well, also, was it live? Was it not live? Was it live?

[01:34:10]

I was confused. It was live.

[01:34:11]

Yeah. Actual live.

[01:34:13]

Because Jen and Demi were there and they were with us.

[01:34:16]

Was it actually live or was it live to tape?

[01:34:18]

I was confused too. So he says, like, live. They mention it's live in the episode.

[01:34:23]

Interesting. Let me ask, because we were with Demi and Jen, two girls from secret lives of mormon wives, during the day recording our episode, and then we were also with them at night at their premiere event. So I'm like, when did they have the. And they were there? So I'm like, maybe they were there for 4 seconds and left. I don't know. But it is also absolutely insane to me that they didn't follow what they do every single year. Show the ending and then bring out your bachelorette.

[01:34:50]

That's the thing. It was so unnecessary.

[01:34:53]

It was kind of toned off.

[01:34:54]

Yeah, it was unbelievably unnecessary. Like Natalie said, just show it like you do every season.

[01:34:59]

Every season.

[01:35:00]

Play your episode. The two guys meet the families, blah, blah, blah. Final date. You know, I'm. Everyone.

[01:35:06]

Cheers. We're all happy.

[01:35:07]

Jen comes out, awkward breakup with your runner up, yada, yada. Bring out the person. Jen proposes. You know what a moment.

[01:35:14]

You have a plan.

[01:35:15]

Cut to afr. And Jesse goes, what a beautiful proposal. First time ever.

[01:35:19]

Wrong.

[01:35:20]

Yeah. But. Oh, but we have some bad news, unfortunately. You know, it's time. Time to bring out your bachelorette. And they could however they want to do it. Like, fine, all right. There was a happy moment. We all know this is not like, you know, this was happened months ago. Things happen. But they didn't do that. They awkwardly cut to AfR, said, we can't show this. Oh, my God. It's. It would be inappropriate. It would be insensitive. It would be harsh. It would be cruel. I'm like, okay, fuck, what happened? Jesus Christ. They bring out Jen. They bring out devin. You know, first of all, they bring out Jen, they bring out Marcus. And that was already kind of weird.

[01:35:55]

That was an unnecessary, unnecessary and went on for way too long. We, they both said nothing. They both said, we have love for you, and we, you know, I respect.

[01:36:02]

Thank you for Jesse interrupted Marcus because he was rambling. Did you notice that? He was like, sorry to interrupt, but, like, next, Fiona.

[01:36:08]

But also, like, we didn't need that. We did not need to see 20 minutes of that conversation. Like, I am so happy that they are on a great page. I don't ever want to see people, you know, animosity between anyone. So, like, love that, but we did not need to sit there and listen to them talk for 20 minutes. Zachary.

[01:36:23]

No, it was about nothing. Both saying how they respected one another. Clearly, there's an awkwardness. Jen seemed uncomfortable talking to Marcus, as if she just, like, wanted to say whatever she needed to say to be nice and then move on.

[01:36:35]

I saw that.

[01:36:36]

Okay, we've got to get to Devin. What the fuck? What?

[01:36:41]

I don't know. Why did, first of all, no one asked.

[01:36:43]

Well, for timelines. Who? We interviewed her on July 31. So they said that this happened in July, and we were the last day of July. She did our interview knowing that this was all going on just for context.

[01:36:55]

Interesting.

[01:36:55]

Yeah, that makes me hurt for her.

[01:36:57]

I thought, it's a bad.

[01:36:58]

But why did no one ask, why did you fall out of love? Why did things switch so quickly? Quickly? No one asked, why did you break up? And what pisses me off about AFR is they make the couple have this, like, talk or whatever. If it's with, like, her and Marcus or her and the person she didn't choose or whatever. And they always have this talk of, like, they're, like, speaking in code. It's like they know something that happened in the relationship that none of us know because they're making them say this in front of cameras and live. And so they're like, I think that that thing that we talked about, we weren't gonna do that. And you're like, what the fuck are they even saying? And so no one asked Devin, like, why the fuck did you, like, what happened?

[01:37:38]

Which is surprising cause I heard that even Jen doesn't know. I heard that, like, he literally reached out to Jen before a happy couple weekend and was like, we need to talk. And obviously, when you say that to someone in that type of situation, you're like, we need to talk. And then he was like, maybe we should talk during our happy couple weekend. And then I heard that she was like, well, let's talk now. And then he was like, we should break up. And I heard that he said things like, yeah, I'm not in love with you anymore. I don't feel the same way. I heard it was less than a 15 minutes conversation.

[01:38:09]

That's kind of what she said on the show.

[01:38:10]

That's what she said. Yeah.

[01:38:11]

I also kind of feel like Devin was, like, surprised by the reaction that he got. Cause I kind of felt like that. Like, I felt like he was, like, genuinely shocked when everybody would be supporting Jen, when she would just, like, shut him down and be like, no, you didn't show up. You ghosted me, like, all of these things. And he's like, but look, like, I'm just trying to. You know, and we talked about this, and, like, you know how I feel about you. And it's like, no, no, no.

[01:38:31]

Did you hear before they went to commercial break, and he was like, what is going on?

[01:38:35]

Bizarre.

[01:38:36]

It was shocking, but it seemed like.

[01:38:38]

But we. We still don't know why they broke up.

[01:38:41]

She was asking on the stage, like.

[01:38:44]

Being humiliated with Jeremy, and that pissed her off.

[01:38:47]

But that was like a work trip. And then he followed Maria the day after.

[01:38:50]

That was all nuts, you know? But to me, that wasn't really even. That was nuts and crazy. And it's certainly, like, the insensitive to the breakup. Yes, for sure. That's not the main reason. I want to know why he decided to break up with her. Because, listen, he's. They're not the first couple. If they had problems or if they got out of the bubble and they thought, oh, my God, like, who did I get engaged to? Or whatever. That's pretty normal, right? Like, a lot of couple show up to AFR and really bad shape, put on a happy face, get through it. And the big question is, like, really, Devin? Like, what were you trying to do? Keep it real. Like, be your most authentic self. Like, you couldn't just, like, muscle through it. Get to AFR, put on a brave face. Wait a couple weeks or a month.

[01:39:31]

Work on the relationship.

[01:39:33]

Yeah. Put your best effort for. Best effort forward. If it doesn't work out, you posted Instagram story, something vague or whatever. But, like, the way you went about it, Devon, is you embarrassed Jen unnecessarily on live national television, and you put in her spot that no other bachelorette has ever been in or would want to be in. And then the show doubles down by basically like, yeah, just unnecessarily being cruel. It didn't it made no sense.

[01:40:00]

It's also such a wild switch up from Devon. And like Jen said, the entire show, he's like, I will fight for you. I'll never give up on you. I love you. It's this, it's that, it's these romantic speeches. It's, oh, my God. And then to just like, yeah, sorry I fell out of love with you.

[01:40:16]

I don't think any of it was genuine, to be completely honest. Like, my speculation was that I am like, maybe he didn't expect to win. I also wonder if he did have a conversation with the producer being like, you can't back out or something. But I like the performance from needing personal time with Jesse, crying at the bar, crying about her not saying I love you, threatening like, I don't even know who I am without you. All of this stuff to get there, to win, to end up being like, the day after, do you think he.

[01:40:42]

Showed up hoping that Jen would send.

[01:40:44]

Him home maybe and for him to follow Maria after the fact? Like, I mean, that gives to me, like, heard the announcement about bachelor in paradise. Like, maybe I have a shot. Like, I mean, like, the idea that he would even go about moving that way knowing that he won. Like, you were never into Jen to begin with. Like, I'm sorry. Like, that there is nothing genuine about any of his actions or even how he tried to defend himself. There was no defense.

[01:41:04]

I'm just, it is crazy how he went about it. If nothing else. It's just stupid.

[01:41:09]

Disingenuous.

[01:41:10]

No, but not even disingenuous, just dumb. Like, what was the move? You know? I mean, he made a point. It's just like, you know, at afr, you know, it's like everything he did made it look worse on himself.

[01:41:21]

Right.

[01:41:21]

You know, I don't know if that was his point, but, like, his point was he wasn't showing a up for, like, cloud or I don't know what it was, but he made no sense the whole time. I don't even understand it. Like, not even does, like, save face or just like, why go about it?

[01:41:34]

I'm also saying, like, yes, she's like, for two months you had 1ft out of the door. And, like, you didn't tell me. He's like, I was late to telling you late. Keep in mind, like, you're late to, like, fucking lunch. Like, no, bitch. What? Yes.

[01:41:49]

This the filming, like, bachelor typically starts filming end of September. Usually wraps filming right before. Thanks. Thanksgiving. Then they basically go home, wrap up, go back to your family. So from thanks. End of thanksgiving, end of November till January, nothing's happening. You kind of hide your relationship. So that's. But that's like six weeks before it even starts airing. Then you have the whole season of it airing. Bachelorette, much shorter turnaround time. So basically, as soon as he got out of the bubble, he was basically finding a way to get out of the relationship. I mean, they were together for less than a couple months.

[01:42:19]

There's, like, the secret homes, right, that you can live in together.

[01:42:22]

So every, like, once or twice a month, they had do, like, a happy couple weeks, uh, where you spend, like, three or four nights. And, like, you know, they usually rent you a pretty nice house in LA. I mean, it's still, like, you're still stuck there. You're kind of in prison. You can't go anywhere. So it's still. You still feel cooped up. But, yeah, that's. Those are your quote, unquote, happy couple weekends.

[01:42:41]

But even then, he was also defensive, like, when he was like, am I. Am I not allowed to have a life? Am I not allowed to, like, do? And I was just like, honey, you're. You've got 15 minutes. Yes. You were missing the mark entirely. And again, he's made it to the point. After watching him, I was like, I don't want to see you on my tv ever again.

[01:42:57]

It's as if the only explanation it feels like you can come up with is that, like, they casted a guy who is just, like, in his late. How old's Devin? I don't know.

[01:43:08]

Late twenties, I believe.

[01:43:09]

And you would normally think that this is a guy with a real job and a real life and friends, but, like, it comes across as that. Like, he's been, like, living in sweatpants, like, in his mom's basement, somehow find his way onto the bachelorette, decided he'd go fucking do it. He fucked her out and found out. I. And then just wanted to, like, figure out a way to get out of it as soon as possible. Like, completely not understanding the scope of what he signed up for. He just kind of was just like, yeah, sorry.

[01:43:34]

Yeah. He kind of implied after that he was, like, pressured into it.

[01:43:38]

Pressured into what, though?

[01:43:39]

That's the thing. It's a rewind to everything he said. Like Cira said, contradictory.

[01:43:44]

Is he blaming producers for pressuring him into an engagement?

[01:43:47]

The process, maybe.

[01:43:49]

Breaking news Devin posted on his stories that is now since been deleted. He posted screenshots of him and Jen's conversation.

[01:43:59]

What?

[01:44:00]

Yeah, send screenshots, you fucking messy piece of shit.

[01:44:04]

You know, I'll be honest. I'd love. I'd love to hear from Devin.

[01:44:07]

So would I. Like, what the fuck are you doing?

[01:44:09]

I want to hear from Jen. Part two.

[01:44:11]

So what does it say?

[01:44:12]

She said, so then why did you want to talk to me in person today in the first place? And he said, I wanted to tell you all of this in person because you deserved more than a phone call. I didn't spring this on you, Jen. I wanted to talk about this in person today and you forced it out of me. Of course, this isn't the way I wanted to.

[01:44:27]

So what happened was, is again, he called up Jen and said, we need to talk. Scared the shit out of her. Said we should talk about this at happy couples. And then he is now accusing Jen of forcing it out of him because she was like, fucking tell me now. I'm sorry. I don't want to sit there and wait on a plane ride and have anxiety. Just shut the fuck up and then spring it on her. When you're in person, if you want to talk about it in person.

[01:44:51]

Yeah. Like who goes on a trip? Like being like, yes, can't wait for doomsday. What could you possibly have to talk to me about?

[01:44:57]

Yeah, so, no, sorry, Devon, Jen didn't force you.

[01:45:01]

So then she said, but the way you said it last night made it seem like you were. Like you already made your mind up. Not that you wanted to have a conversation about it. He said just last week, Friday, you said we should break up. You've said that before. I really took that to heart because I've been having doubts about our whole relationship. And I'm not happy right now when I know you are either. I'm always falling short of your expectations. I have already expressed my own doubts. Last happy couple, I was very honest about where my heart stood. I don't know what else to say. Jen, you don't deserve this. And I don't think I can be. What you deserve is what he meant. And then she said, I know that I said I wanted to break up and I was emotionally charged when I said that and obviously didn't go through with that because things can. And then it cuts off.

[01:45:40]

It sounds like he was like, this sucks, I suck. This relationship sucks, everything about it. I'm not happy. You're not happy. She's like, well, maybe we should, should just break up. Like, that's what that sounds like.

[01:45:49]

He absolutely posted that. I'm. This is a guess, but I feel I say this with confidence. Is that the Internet has been up in his DM's and comments saying, I can't believe you called her.

[01:45:59]

Yeah.

[01:45:59]

How insensitive that you called her. And he posted that thinking that this was going to explain that he didn't call her or didn't want to do it over the phone. And then it's actually. And he's now blaming Jen for how it all went down.

[01:46:13]

Cause you can see that one part is like a broken piece.

[01:46:16]

He's, like, crumbing and cutting and, like.

[01:46:18]

And then shows the part where it's like she knew, like, you know, it's giving. It's giving Clinton Cain. It's giving the, like, I'm gonna refute the tiniest detail. She actually did know because I said one word and it's like, regardless, okay, exactly. You're trying to paint it in a way that she was, like, the one that broke up with you first and made you have all these doubts where it's like, no, you knew how you were feeling, but you want this to validate it so people will lay off of you. But, like, what you did was humiliating.

[01:46:42]

I think that the show really screwed over Jen. I mean, one of the most unfortunate bachelorette or lead experiences. First of all, none of people were casted for Jen. She was set up for failure. They didn't focus on Jen. They didn't tell Jen's story during the season. It was clearly not something they planned for. She was the first asian bachelorette, and they tried to get credit for making her the first asian bachelorette, which they never planned on doing in the first place, but then they tried to get credit for that. The show didn't do anything to prop her up, promote her all that well. It seemed like it was, like, a low budget for promoting her to like her. Her show art was very different than other bachelorettes before her. Then you have this, like, cast of terrible men. Yes, terrible. Also, the Marcus of it was kind of weird. The guy's a war veteran you guys talked about and being in combat for eight years, that shit will fuck you up. I don't know what's going on in Marcus's life. He seems troubled, like, clearly. And he served our country. It just felt also really icky.

[01:47:42]

I also don't blame Jen for this. This is like the show not being able to get away from their playbook. Their playbook being is, before we send someone home, that person has to say, I'm falling in love, or, I'm in love with you, so that the lead can say something like, well, now that I realize where your feelings are now, that, no, my feelings are changed. So it's the finale. Here you have Marcus. Jen's like, I'm in love with both of you. Marcus is like, I can't open up. He's clearly struggling emotionally, and the whole first half of the finale was about trying to convince Marcuse to say I love you to Jen. His. Her brother, like, challenged him. Her mom challenged him. Jen challenged him. Jen shows up to Marcus's hotel room, clearly to break up with him. Right. But they painted as, like, she needs to hear him say I love you. She once again talks about, like, I need him to say I love you. Finally, they rip it out of them. It's just like, say you love her. Say you love her. It's like the pressure they put on this guy to go to a place that clearly he wasn't comfortable going.

[01:48:43]

And then finally, it seems like to their surprise, he actually says, jen, I do love you. She literally had to get up, leave the room, obviously go talk to the whatever producer told her, like, hey, we're going to send him home because he's not going to be able to open up. But then he surprisingly does that. And then they put Jen in another shitty position because now she just looks like she forced it out of him and then very, very cruelly sent him home right after because it was, what? Too late? It didn't make any fucking sense because this show is so used to, like, going by their playbook and how they do things. There just seems to be a lot less creativity with the people running this show than there used to be. And I think when they can't adapt as well as they used to, and now they just do things because they planned on doing it, and it comes across as really insensitive or just boring at times. It just. The whole Marcus ending was stupid, and it felt almost cruel to a guy who, for whatever reason, he's served our country, he's been in literal combat, clearly, emotionally, emotionally, not, you know, healthy.

[01:49:45]

And it just felt weird to force this guy to go to a place he clearly wasn't able to go to.

[01:49:50]

Just send him home.

[01:49:51]

Just. Just to send him home, you know? And then it was just. And then the whole proposal, you know, it's 2024. Let's. Whatever you want to propose to me, Natalie. Great. It's just like, what I don't understand is that. Is that a thing? Does anyone care? Was that, like, a big moment for anyone that Jen proposed?

[01:50:09]

I think it was empowering given, like, the asian context of it because like, women don't do that. And very often in culture, my sister did it and it was like a big deal that she did it.

[01:50:17]

Okay. But like, I guess in any culture.

[01:50:19]

Is, it's not like a thing, it's not a tradition.

[01:50:21]

No, but does anyone care? But like, is who is it empowering for herself?

[01:50:25]

I can see that part.

[01:50:26]

Was it Becca Kufrin to Thomas?

[01:50:28]

Maybe?

[01:50:29]

I think that, yes, yes.

[01:50:31]

Becca Kufrin did it.

[01:50:32]

I mean, it's like a cute moment. Like, even when they aired it, it was like, he was like, haha, cool. Then he's like, I'm gonna propose to, like, it's not that it wasn't that big of a moment as the, the show felt like it was trying to make it out to be Zachary.

[01:50:44]

Well, they cared more about that than.

[01:50:46]

About Jen, but I'm saying they, they sold it as like some groundbreaking.

[01:50:50]

Fiona, I'll agree with you because Jesse Palmer said that, like, it felt icky and weird at the time because Jen's obviously like hysterically bawling. And then Jesse said something like, just so you know, like, that proposal was beautiful and no one can take that away from you. And it's like, first of all, like a proposal, most people only want to go through that once. So it's like there's this like very epic moment. She did something very brave and it's like for that to be the reaction. I don't think it was correct in comforting or being like, no one can take that away from. It's like, yeah, we all saw it and I think she would want someone to take that away from her.

[01:51:23]

What is crazy that the show acted like they were breaking some sort of a glass ceiling.

[01:51:27]

Yeah.

[01:51:28]

And it was just, first of all, it's been done before. It's tone deaf.

[01:51:32]

The show should be embarrassed. Devin should be embarrassed. That was a shit show. I hope Jen can heal from this because, Jesus Christ, that was awful.

[01:51:40]

Yeah.

[01:51:41]

Whoever's decision it was thought it would be empowering for Jen.

[01:51:45]

It's clear they just missed the mark.

[01:51:48]

Sure they had intentions of it being empowering and maybe it would have been empowering if they wouldn't have made her sit there sobbing watching it next to the man who just fucking left her.

[01:51:56]

Yes, this is my part too, because it's like they forced her to watch it and she's crying like sobbing. And then Jesse's like, and you're like the first asian american bachelorette. And I'm like, this is not, it's not the time. Like, you humiliated her for me as like an asian american watcher. Like, you gave me this representation but then made her look like, yeah, you made her cry and put her in a ballet. So I'm like, this is, they look.

[01:52:18]

Like they had fun torturing her. And then Jesse's like whispering as if, like, that makes it more sensitive. And it's just like, jen, are you okay? You're strong. It's like, what the fuck are you saying?

[01:52:27]

I'm like, I'm humiliated. Why couldn't you play this clip before I came out here and then I could have this conversation?

[01:52:33]

That's what's so bizarre about it, how they make this show. It was the most unnecessary thing. They didn't have to do it. They made a choice and they chose to do it this way. And they've never done it this way before. And then the first time they've done it, they've done it in a way where they, for the first, I don't know, 20 minutes were telling us how inappropriate would be to show the video. And then they wait for her to come out with Devin.

[01:52:54]

Right? It just makes no fucking sense. All I want is there to be some sort of leaked people, whatever. That's like, jen and Jonathan are on a date. That's all I want.

[01:53:05]

Yes, we need that.

[01:53:07]

Please rekindle.

[01:53:08]

It was such a, like, but, but.

[01:53:09]

Even Jonathan, like where, why I saw, why wasn't he a part of AFR, like, why did they sitting in the.

[01:53:16]

Crowd, him and Jeremy, he was there.

[01:53:18]

To say that he was going to.

[01:53:19]

Paradise and Jeremy was there to take a stray. Yeah. You were clubbing with Jeremy at Santa. Jeremy, he's like, fuck, I'm single.

[01:53:31]

I'm allowed.

[01:53:32]

And you know what? That was right. Jeremy's out living in New York. Devin like, hits him up. Hey, man, I'm in town. Jeremy's like, stop by. I'm out.

[01:53:41]

I'm outside.

[01:53:43]

But also, and Devin's like, video this. Hell yeah. Put this on my story for my ecstasy.

[01:53:48]

I saw a tweet that said nobody's fumbled a bag harder since Tyler Cameron. They were talking about choosing Cameron.

[01:53:56]

Fumble bag.

[01:53:57]

No, they're saying that like Jet, like it's a bachelorette. Like fumbling the bag where it's like the last time we saw somebody fumble this bad was with Tyler Cameron because everybody wanted Jonathan.

[01:54:05]

Oh, Cannon.

[01:54:06]

Not choosing, not choosing Tyler is the equivalent of Jen not choosing Jonathan for all of us viewers.

[01:54:12]

Gotcha.

[01:54:12]

I do want to say I think it was empowering that Jen stood her ground, though, against Devin?

[01:54:19]

Hell, yeah.

[01:54:19]

Oh, yeah. So I give her that eviscerate, man.

[01:54:22]

She really cared about him too, I hear.

[01:54:24]

I know. That's so sad.

[01:54:25]

Really, really liked him.

[01:54:26]

And he just bamboozled her.

[01:54:28]

I mean, wouldn't you, after all the shit he's saying, like, being like, I would. I would die for you. I would jump in front of a car. I would, like, do absolutely anything for you. I've never loved anyone more.

[01:54:39]

Telling your mom that you would never abandon her, like, knowing she's got abandonment issues.

[01:54:45]

Sick in the.

[01:54:46]

It was so bizarre. Everything about it made no sense. And we also, after all that, we got no answers.

[01:54:52]

Yeah.

[01:54:52]

Yeah. Maybe Devin will continue to be messy and post on his story, and we'll get a couple of answers there.

[01:54:57]

There's something else just kind of bizarre about all this. It just. It is really weird how he chose to go about this.

[01:55:06]

Do you think bachelor, people behind bachelor will make a statement?

[01:55:12]

No.

[01:55:12]

Defending their actions?

[01:55:13]

Absolutely not. No, they don't. They won't speak.

[01:55:16]

They've been on panels before and have spoken.

[01:55:19]

Yeah, that's like a set interview that didn't.

[01:55:21]

Yeah, no, I know how that went. But I'm just curious if they would ever be like, this is why we did this.

[01:55:27]

No, I don't think because the answer isn't going to make them any better. I think because the answer is they thought it was a good idea and they thought it was empowering. But the truth is, they cared more about their creative choice than they cared about Jen. And I think that is absolutely the truth. And that being said, either way, they don't really make statements. Regardless.

[01:55:50]

They're just gonna push golden bachelorette like nobody's business.

[01:55:53]

God. Yeah. Which at this point, which at this point, it's like, did Kelsey's dad win? I don't fucking know, but it makes me, like, not. I'm like, ugh. Like, I just have this gross taste in my mouth, and it's like, what are you. Yeah, what are you gonna do to Joan? It's like, I don't trust you in the hands of my bachelorette. You know, like.

[01:56:09]

And it's weird.

[01:56:10]

Cause, like, listen, when the show does something that can come across as insensitive, I often can see their side, because you're just, you know, you have to show the drama, and sometimes you have to, you know, it's like, sometimes people say, hey, this seems like a conversation that should be held in private sometimes. And you're like, it's a tv show. This has always been a tv show. We're gonna show the show, you know, type of thing. This is just the choices here seem just so unnecessary, like, it didn't add any value. It didn't do anything other than, like, finally get you attention for a season that, let's be honest, didn't have much buzz or attention, and they did something that just comes across as just. They just didn't have to do it. And honestly, them doing it made even less sense. It just confused people. So by the time they showed the ceremony, we weren't curious. We felt icky for Jen, because here's this guy being icky, and then they show the video, and you're like, I don't even care what is going on. It just was such a dumb, stupid choice.

[01:57:10]

Dropped the ball this season.

[01:57:12]

Dropped. Good luck with Joan. Maybe they'll make some changes, you know, maybe.

[01:57:17]

Doubtful.

[01:57:17]

Getting this is a fireable offense, Zachary.

[01:57:20]

We'll see. I don't know.

[01:57:21]

Even.

[01:57:21]

Even the showing Joan and Kelsey's dad and, like, in the crowd, I was like, this is a weird choice, knowing that he's on this season. Like, I don't know.

[01:57:30]

It's just like, I care less about that.

[01:57:31]

I don't know. I'm just saying to where I'm like, it just seems like a weird choice.

[01:57:34]

I think Joan's gonna make a lot of friends.

[01:57:36]

Well, she says she's not doing it to get married.

[01:57:38]

Right.

[01:57:39]

Like, she's just doing this to be in a relationship.

[01:57:41]

But I think. Yeah, I just think most of the time, the lead doesn't fall in love with the. You know, but I think is in golden era. I think it's easier. It's less petty. I think Joan will make a lot of friends who are men. I don't think it's, like, because she doesn't pick. I don't know what happens, but let's assume she doesn't pick Kelsey's dad. I don't think there's, like, weird animosity or it's awkward. I think it's just kind of whatever they pointed at each other. I don't think that's a thing.

[01:58:06]

I think it's a weird choice to have a contestant on your season in the crowd with you.

[01:58:11]

I think it's. It's just I'm with Nick on that one. I think they're marketing it because it's like, this might just be a friendship.

[01:58:16]

Yeah. I think they're just saying it's, we.

[01:58:18]

Loved her dad, but the transition from Jen, for sure, like, Jen wasn't even done. Like, wiping her tears and they're like, Joan, aren't you so excited for it? Like the way that they just drop Jen and like move to the next one. It's just, I don't know.

[01:58:32]

They came across as they really hated Jen.

[01:58:34]

They have to make changes. It's just disgusting at this point. Like the people at Bachelor. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

[01:58:40]

On that note, I think we're going to wrap up this episode. Thanks for listening. Don't forget to tell all your friends about our show. Be sure to check out the Taylor Frankie Paul episode of going deeper that dropped yesterday. Thanks, Peter, for joining the show. Packers are on tomorrow. Super excited about that. We are back next week on Monday. We'll see you then. Bye.

[01:59:12]

Once upon a bedtime at the Glenhaven house.

[01:59:15]

And that, kids, is the story of Fion McCool and the chicken tender of knowledge.

[01:59:19]

That's not how Miss O'Reilly told it.

[01:59:22]

Never mind her. Now. Who wants the chicken tenders of Lear?
