Rte.

[00:00:00]

The home of great local drama. A devastating earthquake. A family torn apart.

[00:00:09]

Our units have completed their search.

[00:00:11]

And a mystery to unravel.

[00:00:13]

I saw him here in Dublin.

[00:00:14]

What are you doing, Harry?

[00:00:16]

But in the truth.

[00:00:17]

Based on the best selling novel by Karen Perry.

[00:00:20]

I never felt that he was gone.

[00:00:21]

And why?

[00:00:22]

Why?

[00:00:22]

Because he's my son.

[00:00:24]

The boy that never was. Sunday at 930 on RTe one and RTe player.

[00:00:30]

Welcome to our home.

[00:00:31]

It's gonna be a bit long to.

[00:00:32]

Spend with people we barely know. I guarantee you won't want to leave. Critics are saying James McAvoy is incredible and speak no evil.

[00:00:42]

Something's not right with him.

[00:00:44]

I've always wanted a family like yours. It's a five star, wickedly entertaining, edge of your seat thriller. We are gonna kill it. I'm just sad to see you go. Speak no evil in cinemas now. Certificate 16.

[00:01:02]

You're crazy.

[00:01:14]

What's going on, everybody? Welcome back to another electric episode of the Valve Files Reality recap edition. Sorry it's late. Nix here. Uh, Lake Nick is here.

[00:01:26]

So can we. Can we have a different. Like. It's not Nick.

[00:01:28]

It's like Lake Nick.

[00:01:30]

No, no, no, it's not Neek.

[00:01:35]

Yay. Okay, I have to work on letting that roll off.

[00:01:42]

The tongue.

[00:01:43]

Neek.

[00:01:43]

Yeah. Or like Nathan. I don't know if you want something.

[00:01:46]

Boring, but like Neek, you know? I think we responded the most to Neekhorne. Okay. Anyways. Anyways, we're at the lake. Nick really threw me off.

[00:01:57]

I'm so sorry. I just felt like you needed a name, you know?

[00:02:00]

Anyways, I'm. Nick hosted this show. That was weird. The household's here. We got Sierra, Justin and introducing. We figured, you know what, honestly, she did such a good job of putting together vibes versus stats. Welcome, Mary. Woo.

[00:02:18]

Queen Mary.

[00:02:19]

I'm here for vibes.

[00:02:20]

She's here for the vibes, not knowledge.

[00:02:23]

A couple housekeeping notes before we hit into the episode. The wonderful and charming, your bachelorette of the moment, Jen Tran is with us.

[00:02:33]

She's back.

[00:02:34]

She is back. She is in studio with us. Right after her ex, Devon, decided to go full tilt, declining our invitation to have a just, you know, maybe just thoughtful kind of just give it its space, conversation, share a story. Maybe we'd challenge him.

[00:02:51]

You said no.

[00:02:51]

No fair.

[00:02:52]

I'll dig myself a hole.

[00:02:54]

No, he went on Instagram and posted a, I don't know, what, 15 minutes video or something that. Anyways, he released texts.

[00:03:02]

He didn't miss a beat. I mean, he really shared them all. He shared every single text they've ever sent to each other, which was just, like, wild. Wild.

[00:03:10]

I mean, he posted them.

[00:03:12]

Yeah.

[00:03:12]

Do you think there's a difference between sharing, I think, or posting, Fiona?

[00:03:17]

I think being able to, like, blah.

[00:03:21]

Blah versus, yeah, posting. Is there a difference?

[00:03:23]

Yeah, I think being able to look.

[00:03:24]

At someone's phone, define sharing and define posting. Like, the difference, you think posting to.

[00:03:28]

Social media, I was like, Justin, natalie just texted me this crazy shit. She said, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah blah. Or, well, not even look at this. Like, I'm just telling you. I'm just reading it to you. I'm reading you the text versus putting up screenshots.

[00:03:42]

Yeah, for sure. Yeah. A difference.

[00:03:44]

The fact that he went through and, like, redacted photos and whatnot means that you spent time going through each one of these slides and posting them and didn't think to yourself, maybe this one doesn't need to be included. Like, good mornings.

[00:03:55]

No need.

[00:03:56]

No need.

[00:03:56]

Yeah.

[00:03:57]

Yeah. He seemed to have gone too far.

[00:03:58]

The only thing I learned from Devin showing all of these text was they use a lot of emojis. Yeah, they like emojis. And not just, like, hearts, but, like. But, like, the emoji. Like, the niche emojis that you don't really ever use.

[00:04:14]

I'm gonna go ahead and defend them.

[00:04:15]

Please. I'm. It's not a critique. I'm interested. I wish I was more emoji. I wish, I wish I was more creative with my emoji. I don't. I rarely ever swipe through them. You know how it has the, like, recommended what you. I am there.

[00:04:29]

So, like, Justin yesterday, when posting maybe the household's best sizzle of all time, the. It wasn't crayon drama. It was really, it was really beautiful. It really elicited a moment. It was. It was wonderfully artistic. Congratulations, member of the household. Zach sent me the caption. And the caption was something like, tomorrow, there are more secrets. And. And Zach very creatively decided to add the.

[00:04:52]

Shh.

[00:04:52]

Emoji.

[00:04:53]

Wait, I won't throw him under the bus. That was my choice.

[00:04:58]

There's no throwing under the bus. I actually, I actually quite, like, I loved it. You know, I was, like, had a little sass. Zack does love his emojis, but I'm always thinking, like, I'm posting as me on my show, and should I be, like, posting an emoji that goes, you know? So I said, lose the emoji. And at the end of the day, to be honest, I wish I could just own the fact that, like, I thought the emoji was a good idea and fuck the judgment. But sadly, sometimes we are only human. And I'm just saying that these are two people who spent, I don't know, 9 hours together before they got engaged. And then they went their separate ways and then they are able to hang out every two to three weeks locked in a, I don't know, 2000 square foot house in LA.

[00:05:46]

That's crazy.

[00:05:47]

So when they're texts, maybe they're just very, like, nervous about being, like, misunderstood or, you know. You know how we always critique texting? Not the best form of communication. So they're just trying to really add color, you know, and excitement or, you know, energy to the text. Cause they don't want to be misconstrued. Maybe that was the intent behind the emojis.

[00:06:05]

Yeah, maybe. I also did learn that her secret name was Coco Chanel. Love.

[00:06:11]

I love that, too.

[00:06:12]

Her pet name was Coco Chanel.

[00:06:13]

Coco Chanel.

[00:06:15]

That's a bougie name.

[00:06:16]

You know, when we talk to Jen, I would love to introduce her as Coco Chanel, but I imagine she feels a certain way.

[00:06:22]

Oh, I'm sure she, like, absolutely is not interested in hearing that word again.

[00:06:26]

Will be really in.

[00:06:28]

But they don't call each other that.

[00:06:30]

They don't.

[00:06:31]

I don't know.

[00:06:34]

In his phone so that people wouldn't know.

[00:06:36]

I'm gonna add some context to that.

[00:06:38]

Okay, please.

[00:06:40]

After you get engaged, as there are nosy people in this world and Jen is a celebrity, that when you exchange numbers, you make up fake names. So that if people, like, were to look at your phone so they, you know, they came up with Coco Chanel.

[00:06:58]

You just unlocked a memory in my head. My high school student gov. Teacher gave me her phone number and she was like, it cannot be my name. And I had, like, this fake name that she had to prove in my phone. That was her phone number.

[00:07:09]

What?

[00:07:09]

My God.

[00:07:10]

Her name was Patricia on my phone.

[00:07:12]

Patricia.

[00:07:13]

Interesting. Why was your teacher.

[00:07:15]

And then, like, when they're filming. When they're filming.

[00:07:18]

Wait, you're glossing over something that we need.

[00:07:21]

Why?

[00:07:21]

Your teacher was, like, taking my number. But don't tell anyone.

[00:07:24]

Yeah.

[00:07:24]

Wait, what?

[00:07:25]

Cause she was afraid, I don't know, that students were gonna, like, prank her.

[00:07:28]

But why did you have.

[00:07:29]

But why did you get it?

[00:07:30]

Cuz I was ASP vice president. Hello?

[00:07:32]

Oh, per.

[00:07:33]

Yeah, it was for where appropriate is.

[00:07:36]

Yeah, she was a little.

[00:07:39]

If river comes home one day and says, my teacher gave me her number, and insisted she will use the word insisted when she said no and insisted that. Did she? She used a fake name. Alarm bells would go off.

[00:07:52]

I mean, for sure.

[00:07:54]

Sure.

[00:07:54]

Yeah, right.

[00:07:55]

I don't want to. I don't want to dive too deep into Justin's childhood.

[00:07:59]

Too much trauma there. Next.

[00:08:01]

Too much trauma.

[00:08:02]

Okay. What do you think Jen's level of sense of humor about this is? Because it's like, it's a. Well, if we say, hey, Coco Chanel like that, that's a big test on her.

[00:08:14]

I don't think so.

[00:08:14]

No. Nobody wants to be reminded of their ex.

[00:08:18]

The wound is fresh.

[00:08:19]

Household headlines.

[00:08:21]

I thought we're just buried. We're not in already?

[00:08:25]

Oh, I don't know. Are we sure?

[00:08:27]

No.

[00:08:27]

Yeah.

[00:08:27]

Yeah.

[00:08:28]

Okay. Period. Take it away, Justin.

[00:08:30]

Should we venture deeper?

[00:08:30]

Should we keep the ball rolling?

[00:08:32]

James Earl Jones. He has passed away.

[00:08:35]

Rip, rip, baby. Do you know. Well, do you know who James Earl Jones is? Well, okay, so then I imagine you wouldn't know the two iconic voices that he voiced for Darth Vader. Really weird. Did you look at the notes?

[00:08:52]

No.

[00:08:53]

Justin accidentally said it earlier.

[00:08:55]

You really remember?

[00:08:56]

And you were like, who's the other one? Let me see if he did Darth Vader. I'm gonna guess he also did completely.

[00:09:01]

Don't go SpongeBob.

[00:09:02]

That's a good guess, actually.

[00:09:04]

He has range.

[00:09:05]

Mufasa. Oh, yeah.

[00:09:08]

Sexy. He was also in the sandlot.

[00:09:10]

Oh, and he says he was field of dreams. He's in field of dreams. He wasn't, like, shockingly not enough stuff. He must have been very selective. Or he must have made just jillians just making, like, commercials with his voice and probably didn't have to do.

[00:09:28]

I'm sorry.

[00:09:29]

He did theater as well, I think. Anyways, he was an incredible actor. He was also in the Harrison Ford movies. Went clear in present danger and Hunt for October.

[00:09:40]

Oh, my God. Were these in, like, the 1920s? All of us, like, in the room are like, yeah, I love that movie. Sierra, have you heard of any of these?

[00:09:49]

He wasn't coming to America.

[00:09:50]

Yes, he was.

[00:09:51]

He played the kid.

[00:09:51]

I love that one.

[00:09:53]

He's very like, oh, my God, that guy.

[00:09:55]

Yeah.

[00:09:56]

Yeah.

[00:09:56]

No, he is iconic.

[00:09:58]

Well, that's sad that he's passed away. What was the cause of his death?

[00:10:01]

Not public yet.

[00:10:02]

He was 93.

[00:10:04]

Oh, maybe just time.

[00:10:06]

Hell of a run.

[00:10:07]

Hell of a run. 93.

[00:10:09]

Yeah, it's more.

[00:10:10]

It's not.

[00:10:10]

It's a celebration of life.

[00:10:12]

Absolutely agree.

[00:10:13]

But good news.

[00:10:14]

Super good news.

[00:10:15]

Princess of Wales, Kate is cancer. Free?

[00:10:17]

Yeah.

[00:10:18]

Hell, yeah.

[00:10:19]

Good for her.

[00:10:20]

That's amazing.

[00:10:20]

We confirm it was not bangs. It wasn't a BBL. It wasn't. She was. It was cancer.

[00:10:27]

I think people stopped speculating once they, like, just let it out before.

[00:10:30]

Congratulations, Kate. We are so happy for her and her family. Bad news? Good news. Yeah.

[00:10:36]

The one offs are really hard to really get into, you know, and it's.

[00:10:39]

Just a one off, but the world needs to know.

[00:10:42]

I will say the video that they released, like, announcing that she's cancer free, was really pretty. So it was good that they kind of combated the media with, like, a good, like, very honest, like, beautiful story that she spoke for herself, which is on another note. So we all know what fyre festival is, right?

[00:10:58]

Yeah. I thought I was gonna throw the second one at my wedding.

[00:11:00]

Oh, that's funny.

[00:11:03]

He didn't trust the process.

[00:11:04]

I wasn't sure if it was gonna all come together, and it was certainly worthy of and glad we did it, but not inexpensive. And so I was a bit concerned leading up that it. The money was spent.

[00:11:17]

People were gonna show up.

[00:11:18]

People were gonna show up. What was gonna happen after that? I was unclear, as someone who was not at either.

[00:11:24]

Yours was gorgeous. And it wasn't fire festival.

[00:11:26]

We've been sitting on our full length wedding video because we shared so much in the beginning. I don't know if that's something anyone wants to see anymore.

[00:11:33]

I want.

[00:11:34]

It's really good. It's really good. It's maybe the best video I've ever seen. Probably a little biased, but we could.

[00:11:40]

Post it as a video on Instagram.

[00:11:41]

Oh, that's right. Well, if we know nothing, we know that from Devon. We can post at least a six minute video if he's posting 13 minutes videos, period. So. Well, it posted as a real, though.

[00:11:53]

No, you post as a video on Instagram, not real video.

[00:11:56]

You can do that?

[00:11:56]

Yep.

[00:11:57]

What?

[00:11:57]

It's okay.

[00:11:58]

Grandpa did not know that.

[00:11:59]

Okay, well, fyre festival two is happening. So Billy McFarlane announced it.

[00:12:04]

Absolutely not.

[00:12:05]

Fire festival two is happening April 25, 2020. 2025.

[00:12:09]

I'm sorry. Anything? This man says. Why are we.

[00:12:11]

No.

[00:12:12]

Why is anyone listening?

[00:12:13]

It's crazier. He. He goes in, he says, we have a private island off the coast of Mexico, in the Caribbean. No, you have an incredible production company who's handling everything from soup to nuts.

[00:12:22]

No one wants to work with you.

[00:12:23]

He's saying a whole lot of nothing.

[00:12:24]

And we've heard this before.

[00:12:25]

Well, just wait. So he says, we haven't booked any of the talent for fire two, it's not just going to be music. For example, karate, combat. We're in talks with them to set up a pit to have live fights. Then he says vip tickets for $1.1 million will go on sale, where you'll get to be on a private boat, scuba diving with him, bouncing to other islands, countries and small planes. Over 100 people have already applied for vip tickets.

[00:12:48]

Some scientist needs to study this man's brain.

[00:12:51]

That and the people that submitted for a $1.1 million ticket to sit on a boat with him.

[00:12:57]

Yeah, that's wild. You deserve to have your money, like, just blown away at that point.

[00:13:03]

That's true. If you trust Billy McFarland again, you.

[00:13:06]

Deserve to be president in the year of our Lord 2024.

[00:13:09]

Maybe that's what rich people do to, like, you know, like, fight club, where they want to just get punched in the face to just know how it felt. Like, maybe it's rich people are like, take my money. Just like, wasting my money in the fight pit.

[00:13:21]

They're dying to be hoodwinked and bamboozled.

[00:13:23]

Yeah.

[00:13:24]

Crazy.

[00:13:24]

No, he went to jail for this.

[00:13:26]

Maybe it gives him a thrill. Maybe there's an excitement behind it.

[00:13:29]

Would be iconic to, like, be at Fyre festival, too. Like, I think so. Like, even if it was a scam, like, I would put myself through it just to be like I was there.

[00:13:36]

Well, you're assuming you'd make it out alive.

[00:13:38]

That's true.

[00:13:40]

I think it's cooler for the people who went the first time because, like, why not try to be a part of something that's unique, but not if you're going the second time, genuinely, like, hoping for a concert, you're a fucking idiot. I guess if we sent the team, like, you know, Justin, if you want to go as a member of the household to bring a camera, 1.1 million that you being willing to do that is different than you, like, going as a. This is going to be the best.

[00:14:05]

No, no, no.

[00:14:06]

Festival of all time.

[00:14:08]

You go knowing it's going to be a letdown, but you're like, they improved something. So I at least have, like, AC and, like, a snack.

[00:14:13]

You know, I'm going to take myself out because of the running of, you.

[00:14:16]

Know, we're also has ac and snacks. Your house.

[00:14:20]

That is so true.

[00:14:21]

If nothing else, the confidence, this man thinking he deserves a second chance to get people to want to waste their money. I guess if nothing else, this is. This is proof that we'll see what happens. Let's let's closely follow if he's able to pull this off, because this will be a real, true testament to people's willingness to want to waste money.

[00:14:42]

Were there no consequences for the first go around, that he's able to do this again because he went to jail for it. But I'm like, how is he able to put together the exact same situation?

[00:14:52]

Just new investors.

[00:14:54]

I feel like whether it's like registering as a sex offender or losing the right to vote, if you're a criminal, I don't think you lose the right to, like, conduct business, and that's essentially all he's doing. He's. There's no, like. There's no, like, specific. I don't think legislation around, like, once you try to start a festival and you fuck up, you can't no longer start a festival.

[00:15:16]

It's like scamming people.

[00:15:18]

Well, sure, but, like. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I don't think you can. Unlike, there are certain crimes that when you get out, like, again, you have to register as a sex offender or, you know, you. You do lose the right to vote. If you were convicted of a felony, there are certain rights that you might not get, and there are certain jobs that, like, you know, I don't know. Like, there's certain jobs. It might matter most. But, like, overall, there's not a legislation making it illegal for, you know, people get out of prison to not work, because all he's doing is he's conducting business. He's making phone calls. He's trying to broker deals. Right. Booking talent. All this. All these transactions, everything he's talking about are just business transactions.

[00:15:59]

Yeah.

[00:15:59]

Right.

[00:15:59]

But that does seem bizarre, considering he was arrested. For what? Fraud. I mean, like, color crimes.

[00:16:05]

Yeah.

[00:16:06]

The fact that out and do it again is.

[00:16:09]

Yeah, you can't. If a con artist goes to prison for committing, you know, Con and gets out, how do you.

[00:16:16]

Yes.

[00:16:16]

They might stop them from.

[00:16:18]

They might try to commit another con, like Anna Delvey.

[00:16:20]

Like, she went to jail, but she came out, and now she's, like, a star.

[00:16:23]

I guess it's just crazy that you're not the only thing to stop people. You're not allowed to conduct business.

[00:16:30]

I guess it's just crazy to think that he's just out there, like, advertising, marketing, this whole thing.

[00:16:35]

And this is on Entertainment Tonight.

[00:16:37]

It's crazy for the investors, like, who's investing their money in this show, part two?

[00:16:41]

You know what? Just because I know what Justin's gonna bring up to, here's a transition like this is in line with the study you told me about, Justin, about how it's not good for your mental health, or it says something about you. It's a red flag if you, like, enjoy sitting down watching true crime. Some people. What do I say in this fucking show? Like, the brain prefers pain to boredom. Like, some people get off on pain. Some people get off on discomfort. Some people get off on this shit. And so the people who are willing to, like, go to fyre festival two and honestly, maybe no one, because, like, right now he's just talking about what he's going to do. He hasn't done shit. But if he does in fact, pull this off, then it will be a testament to people's, like, willingness to, like, put themselves in a shitty situation. Why do, why do every time there's like a. These crazy criminals, who's the guy you've been following? And he has all these women.

[00:17:31]

He's.

[00:17:31]

He's a terrible person committing these terrible crimes, Wayne Wilson. And he's got just seems like tons of women, like, fawning over him. Some people are just into some fucked up shit. Anyways.

[00:17:43]

The Wade Wilson shit is crazy.

[00:17:45]

Yeah, I mean, well, you hint. You hinted at it. So basically a psychologist warned that it's a major red flag to relax while enjoying true crime. So psychologist doctor Therma Bryant explained that treating true crime shows as a way to relax before bed could mean that the trauma portrayed in the series is, in quotes, familiar to you and could even be a sign that you need counseling. She specifically said, if your idea of relaxing before you go to sleep is watch three episodes of true crime, that I would encourage you to think about. Why is trauma relaxing to me?

[00:18:12]

Yeah, that's on point bars. Do we want to everyone just take a moment and reflect on that?

[00:18:18]

I think we need to true cry for me.

[00:18:20]

I. I don't watch it because I feel guilty. Like, speculating on, like, people's deaths and, like, murders and then, like, romanticizing it.

[00:18:27]

Yeah, but going back to Fyre festival, like, that's kind of what I'm saying. It's just like, I think that's a very eloquently put. Someone obviously much smarter than us. But whether it's watching true crime or putting yourself in these situations, I think, yeah, you know, why are we repeat offenders of putting ourselves in situations that get us in trouble? Just because, like, we, you know, I wasn't trying to make this in an ass Nick episode, but also there is a great ass Nick episode on a Monday.

[00:18:51]

It was out on Monday or coming out?

[00:18:53]

It comes out every Monday.

[00:18:54]

Amazing.

[00:18:55]

Have we done housekeeping? We didn't even do housekeeping yet. We have all the ladies house cleaning. House cleaning. Last week we had Taylor Paul electric episode. New star of the secret lives of Mormon wives. We have the rest of the ladies this week. They are on going deeper. This week. It came out yesterday. If you haven't checked it out, it is also electric. But, yeah, it's even more electric.

[00:19:15]

Unhinged.

[00:19:16]

It's unhinged. It really is. It was a great. It was so much fun. Everyone but Whitney, very Whitney of her. So I would lip Whitney if you're out there.

[00:19:25]

No, we would. I just don't think she's interested in us.

[00:19:29]

I got clown for defending Whitney.

[00:19:30]

So where did you defend Whitney in.

[00:19:32]

The episode last reality?

[00:19:34]

I saw you reading the comments.

[00:19:36]

No, I try not to, but I did see one comment. I was like, justin, being devil's Africa. Every episode is, like, annoying. And I was like, oh, to that.

[00:19:43]

Person, Justin, you are beloved.

[00:19:44]

You are. Don't listen to them.

[00:19:47]

I'm gonna still defend her, but I don't know.

[00:19:49]

Period.

[00:19:49]

Listen, we welcome the criticism.

[00:19:52]

Yeah.

[00:19:52]

Yeah.

[00:19:53]

And we welcome the devil's advocate, although I don't believe that he needs one. But we do welcome your side, because you do create some discourse, and I do love disagreeing with you sometimes.

[00:20:02]

Thank you.

[00:20:03]

Yeah, you're a gentle disagreer.

[00:20:04]

You are gentle.

[00:20:06]

And you don't even do it in a condescending way because I think that's a lot of people do. Like, they can't go gentle because that it's in this condescending. But you're just like, I don't know. You're just more playful about it. You're like, I don't know.

[00:20:17]

I just, like, love her. And you're like, oh, my God. Okay, well, then I love her too. If you. If you love her, I love her.

[00:20:21]

You know why? You know that audio of Kim Kardashian? Like, the Kardashians old episodes where it's like, Kim, people are dying? Like, that's a constant monolog in my head where I'm like, it's not that serious for half of these things.

[00:20:32]

Truly.

[00:20:33]

What's your mercury? Do you know?

[00:20:35]

No clue.

[00:20:35]

Oh, are we talking astrology?

[00:20:37]

A little bit, yeah. I was just wondering what his mercury was. That's the way you communicate.

[00:20:41]

It's retrograde.

[00:20:42]

It's in retrograde.

[00:20:45]

Are there different types of mercury?

[00:20:47]

Yeah, everyone, like, for every. Everyone has a different mercury.

[00:20:52]

The fuck does that mean? Everyone has a different nose.

[00:20:55]

So true. I mean, it makes you who you are. So Mercury is, like, according to astrologers, it's the planet of communication. So whatever sign your mercury is in, that's how you communicate. So I'm a Pisces mercury.

[00:21:09]

Okay, so I've never heard of this.

[00:21:12]

Well, how do you learn what your mercury is? Your birth chart.

[00:21:14]

Look at your birth chart, mama. Yeah.

[00:21:16]

Birth chart. Is that something the hospital gives you? Because we didn't get one forever.

[00:21:20]

If I told you September 28.

[00:21:21]

Oh, I don't know. You got to put that into cafe astrology.

[00:21:24]

Yeah. Where you were born.

[00:21:26]

Yeah.

[00:21:27]

Wait, Natalie, speaking of, like, the doctors not giving a chart, I've been asking for my blood type for, like, how old am I? 23 years now, and they will not give it to me.

[00:21:34]

Have you gotten your. Your blood drawn?

[00:21:36]

I have. And then I ask. I'm like, every doctor, I'm like, do you have it? And they're like, ask this doctor. Ask this doctor. And I'm like, well, like, can I have it? And they're like, oh, we don't give that out. And I'm like, but it's my blood.

[00:21:46]

I don't know my blood type, maybe? Do you know your blood type, Sierra?

[00:21:49]

I'm an o. Oh, she's special. I'm a universal donor, but I can only take from o.

[00:21:55]

You should know this, right?

[00:21:56]

You should know this. Yeah.

[00:21:58]

Well, chapel, Roan, we all love and know her. So she came out and she said that she's not going to take any brand deals that don't serve her music or help her world building. And she specifically mentioned, like, h and M and, like, other brands, so she's turning them down if it's not her music. For me, I have a lot of respect for Chapel and her saying this, because it's like, she's blown up. She's now on the COVID of rolling stones, and it's like, if it's not her actual music, she doesn't want it.

[00:22:20]

I like the way that she's going about her career. That's not, I don't know, run by other people.

[00:22:24]

Exactly.

[00:22:25]

She's like, I'm just going to do what makes sense for me and fuck everybody else, and I'm kind of here for it.

[00:22:30]

Yeah. I think it's amazing that we're in, like, a position in culture where somebody like Japerone can't exist and, like, keep, like, her autonomy. Yeah, yeah. And just like, being extremely genuine. And I think it's like, yeah, she is very very on point about everything she stands for, which I think is amazing.

[00:22:52]

Her talent speaks for itself.

[00:22:54]

Still making some money.

[00:22:55]

Oh, my God. Yeah.

[00:22:55]

Oh, yeah. She's. She's got the dough.

[00:22:58]

Okay.

[00:22:58]

She said she's just.

[00:22:59]

She's on the COVID of, like, magazines that are promoting her as a music image, but versus, like, she's not on the COVID of, like, brands.

[00:23:07]

Don't be expecting any teeth whitening Q and a's from chapel.

[00:23:12]

Could y'all imagine people would buy?

[00:23:15]

I would buy.

[00:23:16]

Well, you would know it'd be authentic to her. You know?

[00:23:19]

You do know it would be authentic.

[00:23:21]

That's true.

[00:23:21]

Yeah. Because she would not. She would not do anything that wasn't.

[00:23:24]

You know, who is reaching out?

[00:23:25]

Who?

[00:23:26]

I don't know who this is, but Dave Grohl, a singer from the Foo Fighters.

[00:23:32]

You know, who is reaching out? Not to me, because I don't know who he is, but, uh, reaching out.

[00:23:36]

To his other family.

[00:23:37]

Yeah.

[00:23:38]

Okay. Foo fighters.

[00:23:39]

Well, so I don't know if he's a lead singer, but whoever he is in the Foo Fighters, Dave Kroll, he said, I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter born outside of my marriage. I plan to be loving and supportive parent to her. I love my family and my children, and I'm doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. Regal for your consideration toward all of the children involved as we move forward together. So, out of nowhere, he announced that he's having a child out of wedlock.

[00:24:03]

Why did he feel the need to do that?

[00:24:05]

Yeah, why do you have to announce it?

[00:24:06]

We don't know.

[00:24:07]

Like, were people, like, coming after him, or was he just like, you know what? I just can't hold this in any longer.

[00:24:12]

I would have never known. And I would consider myself a Dave Grohl fan. I mean, Nirvana, he's the lead singer of Fufu. He was the drummer in Nirvana.

[00:24:22]

Whoa.

[00:24:25]

Really cool YouTube video. I don't know that much knowledge about rock and roll, but there was a really talented drummer who passed away, and his son, like, his 1012. I don't know, teenage son, after he passed away, drummed at the Foo Fighters concert. It was awesome. And it was, like, the most. It's like, do you want to feel good? Watch that video. But, yeah, I mean, I'm a fan, but, like, had he not posted it on instagram, I would never have known.

[00:24:53]

Do we care?

[00:24:54]

I mean, it's because he's known as the nicest man in rock and roll.

[00:24:58]

So it's just I never thought the nicest man in rock and roll was celibate, incapable of being, you know, having a low character moment or two.

[00:25:07]

Oh, exactly. But I think it's just. It's just goofy. It's just goofy when you, like, brand yourself as that kind of, and then you're like, okay, well, let me get ahead of this.

[00:25:18]

Well, did he brand himself of it, or did the world brand him of it? Like, was he like, hey, everyone, I am. I've met a lot of my peers, and I'm here to say I am the nicest one.

[00:25:27]

Yeah. Did he, like, do an episode on Sesame street or Mister Rogers or something?

[00:25:32]

I don't know. I don't know. I just, like. I think that's just, like, how people kind of saw him because he was just, like, a good guy in the public, which no one knows anyone personally.

[00:25:41]

Was he posting videos of him going to children's hospitals like Russell Wilson? Not to bring it back to football. Like, Russell Wilson sometimes gets criticized as being disingenuous in his first few years in the league. Incredible reputation, the good guy. But then I think. I think it kind of got out that some people, he was always posting and promoting for himself, you know, going to children's hospitals, and he's doing great things. I mean, he does do these things, but the self promotion, I think, over time, started rubbing, you know, first his teammates and then in the public the wrong way. So I'm just curious.

[00:26:14]

Yeah.

[00:26:14]

Was he doing shit like that or. To Natalie's question, did we just all think he was a clean cut guy with really long hair who sang good?

[00:26:23]

Yeah, I think it was just like. I don't think he ever, like, super branded himself that way, from what I know. I think with the nirvana of it all, like, he's the one that still kind of had fame and everybody, obviously, Nirvana takes up such a very, very special place in people's hearts for people that grew up with that music and then with Foo fighters and stuff and is genuinely, like, a pretty chill, you know, easy going guy. So everyone's like, oh, he's the nicest man in rock and roll. And that's kind of how it happened.

[00:26:50]

What happened to Bonnie Tyler? She's my favorite person of rock'n roll.

[00:26:53]

She got eclipsed.

[00:26:53]

You want to hear a fun nirvana fact?

[00:26:55]

Yes.

[00:26:56]

Always eclipsed Bonnie Tyler.

[00:26:58]

What does that mean?

[00:26:59]

She passed.

[00:27:00]

Note the song total eclipse of the heart.

[00:27:03]

Sing it, Justin. Sing it, sneaks.

[00:27:06]

Got it.

[00:27:10]

I love that song.

[00:27:11]

Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Actually, I'm done here. Guys love you so much.

[00:27:21]

Wait, fun fact of Nirvana.

[00:27:22]

Yeah. My uncle was in a band called Firetown that was. Once had a music. Once had a music video on MTV when MTV was like, in the early eighties.

[00:27:33]

Let's go.

[00:27:34]

My uncle, you know, grew up and like Firetown just never really, really made it. But like, you know, they had a moment and then like many bands before them just stopped. He started a family and a member of his band. His name, I think Butch McCray. Definitely his first name is Butch. He produced Nirvana Nevermind.

[00:27:51]

Oh, wow.

[00:27:52]

Lex.

[00:27:54]

And then was also in the band garage.

[00:27:57]

Nice. Okay. Nineties grunge moment on the bio files.

[00:28:02]

Basically, you are nirvana.

[00:28:04]

That's what I was saying. I didn't know you were Nirvana.

[00:28:06]

Kirk Obeyn reincarnated.

[00:28:07]

No, I am Nirvana Nevermind. Well, it sounds like he's gonna be a dad. I hope whether him and his wife want to make their relationship work, that they're able to do that. And if not, I'm sorry. To his wife, who has to deal with this betrayal.

[00:32:12]

I think it's time for vibes or knowledge.

[00:32:16]

Is it?

[00:32:20]

Step up to the plate, Mary. Give us the vibes. Give us the knowledge.

[00:32:23]

Who's playing this weekend?

[00:32:25]

Okay, so the two games.

[00:32:26]

Also, can we look up, just. Zach, what the point spreads for these respective games that Mario selected?

[00:32:32]

Oh, see, I don't even know. Points spreads mean we're not.

[00:32:35]

We're not on the statistics side. Yeah, we're on the vibes.

[00:32:37]

I did not pass my statistics exam in high school, so I'm here to vibe anyway.

[00:32:43]

What are team colors?

[00:32:44]

Okay, five, football week two, game one. We're going. The Baltimore Ravens versus the Las Vegas Raiders.

[00:32:54]

Oh, I know the Raiders.

[00:32:55]

Okay. Okay.

[00:32:57]

I love Lara Croft. So tomb Raiders.

[00:33:00]

I was Lara Croft for Halloween, like, a couple years ago. Okay, hot.

[00:33:05]

Yeah, let's.

[00:33:06]

What else do we have? Vibes.

[00:33:08]

What are their vibes?

[00:33:09]

The Raiders vibes. Okay. So you may know them. Used to be in Oakland. Not anymore. Now they're in Las Vegas. Their colors, silver and black. Kind of boring.

[00:33:20]

That's cute, though.

[00:33:20]

That's a little spooky.

[00:33:22]

A little spooky? Yeah. I have a hard time with. It's just like, I don't know, you might.

[00:33:29]

All I do like that you can, like, always wear black to their game and, like, easy. Like, it's easy to be a fan because what do you wear? Like, for the pack? Now I have to buy a bunch of green shit. And is it the right shade of green? Like, probably not. So I'm respecting the colors of the raiders.

[00:33:44]

Okay. Okay, fair enough.

[00:33:46]

She makes a good point.

[00:33:47]

Fair enough.

[00:33:47]

That is a very practical point.

[00:33:48]

Thank you very.

[00:33:49]

Chicago is a raider.

[00:33:51]

Well, their mascot is the Raiders rusher, which is just. I have a picture of him. It's just a guy with a little spiky helmet.

[00:34:00]

Oh, he's scary.

[00:34:01]

He's kind of giving. Do you know that that old video of some reality shows, like, wipes? What? I don't know, but it was this kid, and he had, like, a mohawk, and he was, like, asking the woman, he was like, do you like hardcore punk rock? And she was like, no, no.

[00:34:15]

Their mascot literally is a tiny child.

[00:34:17]

Yeah, okay.

[00:34:18]

I don't like that.

[00:34:20]

It's weird.

[00:34:21]

Yeah. He does appear as just a head.

[00:34:23]

On about picture of their fans. Their fans dress up like badass. Their fans look cool as fuck.

[00:34:31]

That's terrifying.

[00:34:32]

Joking.

[00:34:33]

Wait, I have a dumb question.

[00:34:34]

Yeah.

[00:34:34]

Isn't 49 ers also San Francisco? And then where they were. Oakland.

[00:34:38]

No, they were.

[00:34:39]

Yeah, they were.

[00:34:40]

There's.

[00:34:40]

There's a couple, like, hockey has the.

[00:34:42]

That's gonna.

[00:34:44]

Baseball has two teams. Yeah.

[00:34:45]

It's a bigger.

[00:34:46]

They lived in Oakland. They developed a gambling addiction. They moved to Vancouver. Yeah.

[00:34:52]

Wait, so who's their star player?

[00:34:54]

There's. I mean, star player there.

[00:34:56]

Former Packer.

[00:34:57]

Yeah.

[00:34:57]

Okay.

[00:34:58]

That guy. Really talented, right?

[00:35:01]

Yeah. Very good.

[00:35:03]

Very good.

[00:35:03]

He always does this when. Whenever he gets a first down, he goes, dun, dun.

[00:35:09]

That's Aaron Jones.

[00:35:10]

I mean, not sore wound, but I've heard the packers lost her last game, so I'm not sure that's helping us out on the Raiders.

[00:35:15]

Oh, my God.

[00:35:16]

Why does that have to do with. That was way out of left field.

[00:35:20]

No.

[00:35:21]

What's the correlation? Just a Raider correlation.

[00:35:24]

Devante. Devante.

[00:35:25]

Yeah. No, we acknowledge that Devontae used to play for the Packers. I don't understand.

[00:35:31]

Okay, well, I just. The facts that I'm hearing, I don't.

[00:35:33]

I don't think I've ever. This might be the first time I've been mad at Justin.

[00:35:38]

I'm just repeating what I've heard.

[00:35:40]

Wait, so he was good on the packers then, right?

[00:35:42]

He was really good on the packers. Really good on the Packers.

[00:35:45]

Justin's in his villainous.

[00:35:47]

He is a real. So he's a really good player. So, like, that could be. But also, I'm. I'm. I'm already startled by some of the fan photos that I saw, so I don't know if I could go to a game. I. Those fans are spooky.

[00:35:58]

I think they're very friendly.

[00:35:59]

No, actually.

[00:36:00]

No. Like, they're.

[00:36:01]

No, I'm scary.

[00:36:02]

Yeah. Anyways, they're dedicated.

[00:36:04]

What about the Ravens?

[00:36:05]

Okay, so the Ravens.

[00:36:08]

I got a mad. Sorry.

[00:36:09]

It's okay.

[00:36:10]

Yeah, you did. You really ruined our whole lake trip, Justin.

[00:36:13]

I'm sorry. The Ravens color scheme. We're going purple. Like a dark purple. We're going black. We're going metallic gold.

[00:36:21]

Oh, okay.

[00:36:23]

See?

[00:36:23]

Purple and gold.

[00:36:24]

Purple.

[00:36:25]

Purple is not.

[00:36:27]

No, I don't love purple. Okay?

[00:36:30]

These are royal colors.

[00:36:31]

What did she do to you?

[00:36:33]

Listen, she just feels. She just doesn't. She doesn't feel flattering for me. And this is a me problem, for sure.

[00:36:40]

Yes.

[00:36:41]

You know, so I.

[00:36:43]

Someone called her a grape once.

[00:36:44]

Someone called me a grape once, and I'll never forget it. They called me a big, fat grape, so I'll never forget it. So what is their mascot? Is he just fun?

[00:36:52]

So basically, the ravens take their name from the Edgar Allan Poe poem the Raven, which not so much, but I did do an english project on that in the 6th grade.

[00:37:03]

Hell, yeah, mary, I did too.

[00:37:05]

Hell, yeah. Did you know that before he died in a gutter, he used to spend a lot of time in Baltimore? Yeah.

[00:37:14]

Wait, so this mascot kind of looks like the dolphins? Just a different.

[00:37:17]

I think he's cute. His name is Poe. Oh, he's cute.

[00:37:20]

Yeah.

[00:37:21]

One time poe had, he was playing a game with some kids, and he got injured and had to be very dramatically carted off the field.

[00:37:31]

We love the drama.

[00:37:32]

He got, like, carted off like one of the players.

[00:37:34]

Okay.

[00:37:35]

I didn't know you could card mascots.

[00:37:37]

Do they have any fight songs or anything fun or.

[00:37:39]

Like, they do have a marching band. So they are one of, like, two teams in the league that.

[00:37:45]

Where are they playing this game?

[00:37:46]

They're playing it in Baltimore.

[00:37:47]

In Baltimore?

[00:37:48]

Yeah.

[00:37:49]

Also a lot of purple.

[00:37:50]

Yeah, lots of purple. John Harborough is their coach, his brother Jim, also a coach. So sibling rivalries.

[00:37:57]

They once played against each other, coached.

[00:37:59]

Against each other in the Super bowl.

[00:38:00]

Yeah.

[00:38:01]

Pop off.

[00:38:02]

Which.

[00:38:02]

Who won? The Ravens or the Ravens won. Okay. That's something to note.

[00:38:06]

Yep.

[00:38:06]

The lights went off at halftime for, like, 45 minutes, and some people think it's a betting conspiracy.

[00:38:13]

Well, speaking of conspiracies, there's some drama around the beginning of their relationship or beginning of their relationship. Beginning of their inception. Okay. Much like Tom and Ariana, I would say, got off to a little bit of a conspicuous, inconspicuous start because the Baltimore Ravens used to be the Cleveland Browns.

[00:38:33]

Yep.

[00:38:33]

And then one night, they just, like, switched left. They left, went to Baltimore. Like, they literally just, like, did a goth rebrand in a new city, which.

[00:38:44]

I kind of the owner, the, you know, it was his business and he took it, which can happen to the Green Bay packers.

[00:38:50]

Like, imagine you live in Cleveland.

[00:38:52]

You know, I have. I already know who's winning.

[00:38:55]

Yeah.

[00:38:55]

Who's the first one?

[00:38:56]

Raiders.

[00:38:57]

Raiders are winning because we love packers.

[00:38:59]

Yeah.

[00:38:59]

Oh, he's trying to. He's trying to get back on your good side. He's trying so hard.

[00:39:04]

Raiders, one quick.

[00:39:05]

Tell him you forgive him. Quick.

[00:39:06]

I forgive you, Justin.

[00:39:07]

Okay.

[00:39:07]

Okay. Now.

[00:39:08]

But I do think we go. I do think we. I do think we go Raiders?

[00:39:10]

Is this a group decision between you guys or you guys? Everyone want to do their own thing?

[00:39:15]

No, we're the vibes. We all have to agree.

[00:39:17]

Zachary?

[00:39:18]

I personally hate the Ravens because I grew up a Steelers fan, so I, like, in my blood, have to hate them.

[00:39:23]

I hate them, too.

[00:39:25]

Yeah.

[00:39:25]

Well, I think you guys can all do your own thing and we can keep score.

[00:39:28]

Yeah.

[00:39:29]

We got the best vibe.

[00:39:30]

We represent the household, though. I felt like, because I. Because. Because I felt like that was what was fun. Like, people were, like, messing around.

[00:39:36]

Well, you guys decide.

[00:39:36]

Our team won, like, our.

[00:39:38]

You know, I feel like this is going to be a whole, like, love island situation where you guys are going to be blaming each other next week who, like, really influenced the vote the most.

[00:39:47]

Erra did just take the backseat on the Raiders one.

[00:39:50]

I will say one last thing about the. About the ravens, though, because they are Baltimore. If anybody is a fan of the movie hairspray.

[00:39:57]

Yeah.

[00:39:58]

Good morning, Baltimore.

[00:39:59]

Good morning, Baltimore. The Turnblad family would be Ravens.

[00:40:03]

And Edgar Allen Poe.

[00:40:04]

And Edgar Allan Poe. I don't know. I think they're kind of. And, like, this purely vibe wise, I would maybe go ravens just because I love a little, like, spooky goth moment.

[00:40:13]

Yeah.

[00:40:14]

But then at the same time, like, because of growing up being a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, we hate them, so it's very hard.

[00:40:23]

Have the Raiders ever won a Super bowl?

[00:40:25]

That's a good question.

[00:40:26]

But, Mary, you can be a. You can be a super fan and still make a pick, I think, vibe wise.

[00:40:32]

Ravens, for me, Ravens, too. And Raiders fans scare me.

[00:40:37]

You're gonna make natalie wear purple.

[00:40:39]

Y'all are gonna make me call it a great.

[00:40:40]

You can wear gold.

[00:40:42]

Okay.

[00:40:43]

You can wear gold.

[00:40:44]

Really? Much better. I have purple glass or gold for packers, and it doesn't really work for me.

[00:40:47]

Purple and gold is really good.

[00:40:49]

Also, she.

[00:40:49]

The Raiders head coaches, 20 minutes, $27 million in debt.

[00:40:54]

The Raiders?

[00:40:55]

Yeah. Antonio Pierce. It's something around that. It's a big number.

[00:40:58]

The Raiders head coaches.

[00:41:00]

Yeah. And Antonio Pierce, he is the. This is. This is true nepotism.

[00:41:05]

Yeah. He also owns the Las Vegas Aces, the WNBA team, and they're great.

[00:41:10]

The Raiders money on them.

[00:41:11]

But look at him.

[00:41:13]

Oh, that's a haircut.

[00:41:14]

It is a haircut.

[00:41:15]

That is a choice.

[00:41:16]

He's the most vegas looking man I've ever seen in my entire life.

[00:41:19]

Okay. I feel like. I feel like we are all on the same page.

[00:41:23]

You're gonna go.

[00:41:24]

We're gonna go. Ravens.

[00:41:25]

I also gonna go Ravens.

[00:41:27]

You can't.

[00:41:28]

Again, this is accumulation over the course of the year. We'll see, like every week. This is how you make picks. Babe, you can't like. Because sometimes we actually both might agree.

[00:41:37]

Natalie's gatekeeping. The Ravens, we're now tied.

[00:41:40]

We're one in one. You won. I won a game last week. We will pick the same game. So. Yeah, less fun. But. But sometimes that's how.

[00:41:50]

Wait, what's the second game? We have another game.

[00:41:52]

Two. Game two. Chicago Bears versus the Houston Texans.

[00:41:56]

The Bears.

[00:41:58]

Exactly. Let's start off with the bears color scheme. Navy blue, orange and white love.

[00:42:04]

Because Auburn is navy blue and orange. Love those colors.

[00:42:07]

They're very, very auburn.

[00:42:09]

Very auburn.

[00:42:10]

I think orange just triggers me because like dolphins, orange is just ugly too. It just doesn't look good.

[00:42:15]

But listen, orange is like a burnt orange.

[00:42:18]

Natalie wear purple.

[00:42:19]

So yeah, yeah. Sacrifices their mascot, Staley da bear.

[00:42:24]

Yep.

[00:42:25]

And he is a sly. Look at him. Look at that guy is a Chicago man, not a bear in a suit. He's a bear in a suit.

[00:42:34]

Love.

[00:42:34]

Sources tell me that he is actually the secret cook in the kitchen in the hit tv show the bear. And don't look that up. But that's how they go.

[00:42:44]

Filmed in Chicago, right? Takes place in.

[00:42:46]

Filmed in Chicago. And behind the scenes, Staley, Dubert.

[00:42:51]

Justin Fields is their quarterback, right?

[00:42:53]

No, he's now the quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

[00:42:56]

Yes, he is.

[00:42:57]

Caleb Williams is now the quarterback of the Bears. And he did not play very well in this first game, but he is only a rookie.

[00:43:03]

I did find out he is younger than me. Oh, yeah. He's 22.

[00:43:07]

Good friend.

[00:43:07]

Isn't that crazy?

[00:43:08]

22. Wow. And a quarter. Wow.

[00:43:11]

It's a young man's game. Football. Professional sport.

[00:43:13]

Fun facts. They play at Soldier Field, which is very beautiful. I've seen it.

[00:43:18]

The field's not so great, but.

[00:43:19]

Yeah. But to look at it from like the late, it has gotten criticism.

[00:43:23]

Compared to other beautiful stadiums, like Lambeau Field is looking more like. Like a spaceship of some sorts.

[00:43:29]

Futurism.

[00:43:30]

Lambo is the packers.

[00:43:32]

Well, soldier field, before its renovation was dope as fuck. It had like these pillars. It looked like a fort, like. And I honestly think it was based off of some sort of military fort. I could be totally fucking wrong there. And then they remodeled it. They didn't, you know, and then they turned like an old pillared fort. It's just like.

[00:43:51]

It was weird.

[00:43:52]

It's like they. Yeah, they did future when it was. I don't take a picture of it retrofitted. Yeah, it was. I don't know. It. It's not without its criticisms, but Mary likes it.

[00:44:01]

I mean, I just went to school in Chicago, so I'm biased. So I used to, you know, do my walk.

[00:44:06]

Sounds patriotic, but if you think it's pretty from the lake, then I trust you, Mary. And I also think it's pretty from the lake.

[00:44:11]

Thank you. Yeah, we don't need to really research.

[00:44:15]

Yeah, we don't need to, like, go into, like, the history of, like, what it once was. I feel like what it is now.

[00:44:21]

Fun facts about them. They have a very famous recurring SNL sketch about them with Mike Myers, Chris Farley, and Norm from cheers. So not many dub bears.

[00:44:33]

Dub bears.

[00:44:33]

Not many other football teams can say the same. Just gonna say sorry about it.

[00:44:37]

SNL.

[00:44:38]

SNL.

[00:44:38]

Okay.

[00:44:38]

When it was good, the packers did appear on pitch perfect two.

[00:44:44]

I believe it was.

[00:44:45]

You know what I love?

[00:44:46]

Sequel.

[00:44:47]

Wait, we left?

[00:44:49]

Oh, my God.

[00:44:54]

You know what? This is me being honest. That wins my heart. I love the because pitch perfect. I was obsessed with.

[00:45:00]

Oh, here Justin goes.

[00:45:03]

Okay, what about your friend that went to, you know, spell all nice time in Chicago?

[00:45:08]

Who's the Bears versing?

[00:45:10]

The Bears are playing the Texans. But bears are very cute.

[00:45:13]

Is the Texans. No. Matthew McConaughey. His team. Or is that longhorns?

[00:45:17]

Texas Longhorns.

[00:45:20]

Houston Texans. Their colors are deep steel blue.

[00:45:24]

Okay.

[00:45:24]

Battle red.

[00:45:25]

Nope.

[00:45:26]

Liberty white.

[00:45:27]

I like this.

[00:45:28]

And h town blue.

[00:45:30]

Love the way they describe their colors, right? Love. It's creative. I love the adjectives. They really did. They went the extra mile.

[00:45:39]

So their mascot is this guy named Toro. He's a bull, because obviously they have the rodeo. Houston.

[00:45:46]

And this is not the Dallas Cowboys.

[00:45:48]

No, this is not the Dallas Cowboys.

[00:45:50]

This is the Houston.

[00:45:51]

This is the Houston Texans.

[00:45:54]

Well, these are the Oilers. Another, like. Like, Baltimore. The Houston Oilers moved to Tennessee.

[00:46:01]

I thought you said that's not how you pronounce that word.

[00:46:05]

Oilers.

[00:46:06]

Oilers.

[00:46:07]

Maybe I'm turning into you.

[00:46:09]

You are. We're morphing. Oh, my gosh. He's cool.

[00:46:13]

Mm hmm.

[00:46:14]

I like this bad bitch.

[00:46:15]

Yeah, he's. Yeah, he's giving Toro.

[00:46:18]

Ah.

[00:46:18]

But I keep thinking about our bear in the suit and. Yeah, so handsome.

[00:46:22]

I mean, I feel like they would be friends if they met.

[00:46:24]

He would win in a fight. He would win in a fight. Yeah, he's got the horn.

[00:46:28]

I think Staley Dubair is.

[00:46:29]

Is.

[00:46:29]

Is more of like a let's all just be friends, but Toro Toro. Could, you know, kill someone.

[00:46:35]

Fiona.

[00:46:35]

So who won? So the Bears won their first game. Did the Texans also win their first game?

[00:46:40]

So really good question.

[00:46:41]

They did. Zachary.

[00:46:43]

Okay, that's good to know. You know, like, what I've heard, though.

[00:46:46]

Is the first week doesn't do anything right.

[00:46:48]

The first league. That is true. Just in the first week.

[00:46:51]

Are you saying that because the packers lost.

[00:46:53]

Misrepresentation of the team.

[00:46:55]

He's letting you know that the first week when the packers lost. It doesn't.

[00:46:58]

It doesn't matter.

[00:46:59]

But, I mean, that's true, right? So we can't depend on the first week.

[00:47:02]

Yeah.

[00:47:02]

No, it's been one way. Would you judge someone off of, like.

[00:47:06]

Let'S take a break. Yeah.

[00:47:08]

If you want to break, you come back. You're getting into the groove of things.

[00:47:10]

Yeah, it's true.

[00:47:11]

A fun fact about the Texans famous fan alert. Rainey Rodriguez from the hit tv show Austin and Allie is a Houston Texans.

[00:47:19]

Okay, so I'm voting for the Texans.

[00:47:22]

By la.

[00:47:23]

I'm hating that. We're on a road. We're on a path. Path here. Fork in the row, Justin, because I'm feeling the bearsies, Zachary.

[00:47:33]

I am, too.

[00:47:35]

And Mary went to college there.

[00:47:37]

Yeah, I know, but, like, pros. Cute.

[00:47:40]

Nick is trying to cheat. Nick's trying to cheat. He's trying to. He's trying to send me down. He's like, you should go Texan you. And you're trying. You're praying on my downfall. You want me to lose, huh?

[00:47:48]

Yeah.

[00:47:50]

You know, the bears are gonna win.

[00:47:51]

No, wait.

[00:47:52]

The Bears are winning.

[00:47:54]

I'm.

[00:47:54]

No, Nick is.

[00:47:56]

I'm picking Houston.

[00:47:57]

You're picking Houston. Well, papa, pick Houston. How are you feeling, Justin, about switching your team or. No. Are you really stuck on it?

[00:48:04]

I think Texans. I'm sorry. Red, white and blue. That's like, my daily color scheme.

[00:48:08]

Very patriotic.

[00:48:09]

You are such an american.

[00:48:12]

Okay.

[00:48:12]

Also, he would win in a fight if the mascots were fighting on the field. He has horns.

[00:48:16]

Yeah. So you think aggression is the most important thing in the world? Yeah.

[00:48:20]

A gentleman in a suit.

[00:48:21]

Yeah. You don't think like, his.

[00:48:23]

That's all in act. He's putting on the suit to look like he knows what he's doing.

[00:48:27]

Since we don't have Peter this episode, I guess Justin and Nick could team up, and then it could just be like, the girls against the boy.

[00:48:33]

No, no.

[00:48:34]

Yeah, I can do that.

[00:48:36]

I don't want Justin.

[00:48:39]

No, no, no.

[00:48:40]

He said doesn't land with Justin. Justin's part of the vibe. Just like, no football.

[00:48:46]

Are we wearing purple? We wore purple last round.

[00:48:48]

Wearing purple.

[00:48:48]

I can. This can be an episode of humiliation for me.

[00:48:51]

Orange.

[00:48:52]

I'll wear orange.

[00:48:52]

What was the bears colors again?

[00:48:54]

It's like navy blue, like a kind of burnt orange and white.

[00:48:57]

I'm here for the bears.

[00:48:58]

Their logo is really cool, too. I will say it's like this orange and blue.

[00:49:02]

I'll wear, like, I'll wear a misprinted, like, orange that looks kind of red and then call it a day. So.

[00:49:07]

Yeah, also, like, low key. If you're in Chicago, like, you can just wear like a cub shirt and go to a bear's cute.

[00:49:13]

Cubs are cute.

[00:49:14]

I've seen that all Chicago teams, very cute. Cause you have the bears and then you have the Cubs.

[00:49:18]

I do love Chicago pizza. Okay.

[00:49:19]

I rest my cake. Hot dog.

[00:49:21]

Chicago pizza is good.

[00:49:23]

All right, I'm gonna go Houston. I'm gonna go Houston, Texas. Also, we're taking.

[00:49:27]

You're not going to explain why they.

[00:49:29]

Were in the playoffs last year. They have a really great quarterback. There's some people's niche Super bowl pick. And so the bears again, they won last week but didn't actually play that well. So I'm going to go.

[00:49:41]

Is it CJ strode also 22? Oh, yeah.

[00:49:47]

Got some.

[00:49:48]

22 against 22.

[00:49:51]

Barry Taylor Swift. Coda.

[00:49:53]

Very Taylor Swift code.

[00:49:56]

We are taking my dad to the Packer game this Sunday at Lambo Field. If you guys, anyone, anyone, anyone in the household who goes to the Packer game and you've run into us, say hi.

[00:50:06]

Yeah. And tell Nick's dad happy birthday.

[00:50:10]

All right, it's time for Jen Tran.

[00:53:49]

I mean, having me, I couldn't show up, but I know. I'm sad you guys are over there, but I'm happy to be here. Yeah, I love it here.

[00:53:55]

The colors are very happy to have you. Life's been a bit of a whirlwind for you.

[00:54:01]

Yeah, it's been a lot. There's been a lot going on, for sure.

[00:54:04]

You know, usually I ask my guests, like, how's their heart? And so it's like, you know, whatever kind of a throwaway. But I feel like it's really appropriate in this moment. Like, can you let the audience know? So we're recording this Wednesday, and I'm sure we'll get to the devon of it all. But you have been traveling. You're on Dancing with the Stars. The finale was last week. You've been in Boston.

[00:54:25]

Uh huh.

[00:54:25]

Rallying the rally.

[00:54:27]

Rallying the troops.

[00:54:28]

Rallying the troops at the bars. You've been through a lot. You've been through a lot. So, like, how is Jen, your heart?

[00:54:34]

I truthfully don't know how my heart is yet. I don't. I haven't had a second to myself to really, like, process everything. It's only been a week since the finale. There's been a lot going on. I've been kind of just focusing on myself, focusing on dancing in the stories, focusing on having fun and putting energy back into myself. But truthfully, like, there is a lot going on in the back of my mind, and I'm still trying to process it at all, and I'm still trying to just heal from it. And I feel like every second, I'm getting there. I'm getting a little bit better. There's something else that comes out, and I'm like. I'm just like. That breaks it all over again. But, I mean, healing is not a linear journey, and there's just gonna be, like, a couple ups and downs. But I've been through heartbreak before. Maybe not in the public eye, but I know that, like, I will be okay at the end of the day, but, yeah, I mean, I'm not gonna lie and say that I'm, like, 110% okay. I'm not. And I think it's okay to also admit that.

[00:55:30]

Absolutely.

[00:55:30]

Yeah, for sure.

[00:55:31]

Like, we love a mid healing queen.

[00:55:33]

We do. Absolutely.

[00:55:35]

A mid healing queen. Yeah. So it's been a lot. Yeah.

[00:55:40]

It seems like you're able, despite, you know, and good for you, able to enjoy this moment because, I mean, you also, despite the heartbreak, some really exciting things going on. I mean, we never like to see, you know, anyone heartbroken, but, you know, in bachelor world, it seems like Bachelor Nation has really rallied behind you and really supporting you and really, you know, very team gen right now. So that must feel. Not that they weren't before, but just that there's a clear energy out there right now of support for you, and that must feel good and exciting. And, you know, I imagine you're seeing that out in public.

[00:56:17]

I see it everywhere online in public, and it has been really, really amazing to have such support from people that I don't even know. It's definitely not a feeling that I've known before, so it's been really, really nice and, yeah, I don't know. I think with things like that, though, like, I'm always so weary of the Internet and everything. It's just like, they can be so behind you in the next moment. They're not, and things like that. So I try to just stay grounded as possible, and, like, I'm grateful for the support now, and I'm just, like, happy. Happy to be here, happy to have it. Happy to be living.

[00:56:49]

Happy to be living hell. Yeah.

[00:56:53]

Do you want to? Should we just get into the devon of it all, then?

[00:56:56]

I mean, isn't that everybody's questions these days?

[00:56:59]

All right, so, like, elf in the room yesterday, Devin posted. Well, I don't understand why I didn't know you could post more than ten minute videos on Instagram. So I think he maybe did us all a favor learning the long form. But all jokes aside, for whatever reason, this seemed to be the way he decided to share his truth. As he says, have you seen the video.

[00:57:21]

I have not seen the video, and I don't plan on it. Okay.

[00:57:25]

We love that.

[00:57:26]

Yeah. I mean, it's just. I know what happens. I don't need to watch a 13 minutes video on it. And he's wasted already six months of my life. I'm not gonna give him another second, let alone 13 minutes. I'm lost, period. Yes.

[00:57:40]

That being said, he obviously feels a certain way. I mean, I guess. When was the last time you talked to Devin? And is there a chance that maybe you guys could mend the fences? Because for whatever reason, he seems upset or he feels like his POV isn't understood. Do you in any way feel like there's things out there that he would like to be out there, or why do you feel like he's chosen to go about it this way? You know, given that he was a guy that you were engaged to for a while?

[00:58:09]

Zachary, I have no idea why somebody would do this, let alone somebody that I was engaged to, would release private texts between us two. When you get engaged to somebody, when you're dating somebody, your first thought is never, oh, my gosh, these texts might actually be blasted for the whole world to see. Like, that is such an invasion of privacy. So when I heard about this, I had so many friends and family texting me, calling me about this. I truthfully felt so betrayed. So just disrespected and honestly, just upset and disappointed. Like, I don't have a problem with him going out there and saying what he needs to say, but I have a problem with him invading my privacy and releasing texts without telling me, without just giving me notice. And also, just, like, some of the things, he conveniently blurred out certain things but forgot to blur out other things that were very, very private. It's like, my mom's on the Internet, dude. Like, what's up with that? It's just. It was disrespectful, and I don't appreciate it at all in regards to what he has to say. Like, he's allowed to have a side to the story.

[00:59:15]

Like, he was a part of this relationship, too. He has all the rights to say whatever he wants to say, and I'll say it like, he had time at AFR to say it. And I don't know about you guys, but I didn't hear very much of anything, so he had time to share his piece. If he thinks that he wants to share more, he's more than welcome to do that. What I don't condone is my privacy. And going out there and doing that.

[00:59:36]

So that seems fair.

[00:59:37]

That does seem very fair.

[00:59:39]

Yeah. So you're really just more, you know, obviously, the way he's gone about it.

[00:59:43]

The messages, it just seems like you've had so much time now to think of your story and your plan, but it's like at AFr, you were quite quiet.

[00:59:53]

Yeah, exactly.

[00:59:54]

Do you know why Devin, or can you guess? There was that hot mic moment where Devin was like, what's going on here? He seemed confused. I will say, having been a part of AFr, it is live. It's very short, it's very pressure packed. If he, you know, things don't go always the way people imagine, so that can happen. Like, but from your standpoint, why do you think he said that, Zachary?

[01:00:15]

I honestly have no idea why he said that. I have no idea why he thought it would. I don't know where he thought it was going to go. I have no idea. His mindset that week, because he, truthfully, we hadn't been talking that week. And the week before that, I got some very mean messages from him. And we just, like, not on good terms because I had asked to talk to him without the cameras, and he had agreed and then suddenly ghosted me and suddenly was not on the same page as me. And I wanted to have that conversation off camera. So he knew how anxious I was going to be going there. Like, that's not okay to, for the first time, be seeing your ex fiance on a stage. And he denied me of that right to have a conversation with him before that. And so I don't know what he thought was going to happen. I was on a rollercoaster of emotions, of course. Like, I was. I didn't know what to expect. Yeah. I don't know why he said what was going on here. What did he think was gonna happen? Was I just gonna shake his hand and say, okay, have a good day, like, nice?

[01:01:11]

Knowing that makes a lot of sense.

[01:01:14]

Coming from you adding that context, because, like, you know, regardless of whatever Devin's timeline is, like, even if he thought you two had some sort of understanding, right, like you said, you hadn't spoke with at least a week or two to, information is coming in. You have no idea what's going on. You didn't expect him to break up with you as everyone in your shoes would. You start asking a million questions. What? How did this happen? How could this happen? Is there someone else? Yada, yada. You start getting messages or reports of another people, arms around people. Whether Devin did it before or after he broke up. What did he expect? It's just like, it. Clearly, if nothing else, he was incredibly sloppy and incredibly inconsiderate of how information could get back to you and how you might feel about it. Yeah, I mean, I don't know what else he expected, but that, you know, you. Thanks for providing that context, because it makes a lot of sense, because I wouldn't want anyone to think that, like, he's somehow suggesting that you guys were on some same page. And even if you had talked a couple weeks before, like, so what?

[01:02:16]

Like, clearly, when someone breaks up with you, your information comes in, you don't know what to think, left or right. And, like, he decided to operate in a way that was, that raised a ton of questions. Regardless of what the timeline exactly is or not.

[01:02:32]

Here's the thing. Like, the information about this other girl in New York, the pictures, whatever, that didn't even come out until after AFR. So it's like, I wanted to put it in the past. At AFR. I'm like, this is it. I just want to be done. And then it's like every day something is popping up. The pictures with the girl, people dming me, he's making out with this person on this date, and he's flying to the airport with this girl on this date, blah, blah, blah, blah. Now he's releasing text messages. At this point, I want to be done, and I want to put this in the past. And I'm like, this is the last time I'm talking about this because this is not what I want. I don't need this breakup to be drawn out for six months. I'm done with it, and I'm ready to move on. And at this point in my life, the way that he has been behaving and releasing our texts and whatever else that he's doing shows to me that this is not the kind of person that I would ever want to spend the rest of my life with anyways.

[01:03:27]

And so I'm ready to move forward with that and know that I'm at the right place in my life right now. And everything truly happened for a reason. Like, it was a blessing in disguise, what had happened, and I'm grateful for it despite all of this mess.

[01:03:41]

Well, psa, then. To anyone listening, do not Dm Jen or message Jen or go on her page or give her the 411 and anything d related. She's not interested. She's moving on with Jonathan.

[01:03:55]

What?

[01:03:55]

What?

[01:03:56]

Yes.

[01:03:56]

What's going on? No, she stated they're just friends.

[01:04:01]

The other day he was.

[01:04:04]

Are you in love?

[01:04:04]

No.

[01:04:05]

Yeah.

[01:04:05]

Am I in love? No.

[01:04:07]

No. I'm just kidding.

[01:04:08]

I love Jonathan. Am I in love with Jonathan? No.

[01:04:11]

Well, he said he would be sitting front row, dancing with the stars if you do invite him.

[01:04:14]

Yeah, we've had some chats about it. He will be coming. Yes. As a very good friend of mine. No, I mean, Jonathan is so great and so amazing and such a good person. And, like, here's the thing. I didn't get a fiance out of this, but I'm so happy that I got. Got a really good friend out of us and a good human being. Like, he is just so good. And unfortunately, right now, I'm just not at the place in my heart and in my life to be dating somebody, to even be thinking about possibly investing myself into anybody, let alone Jonathan. But I'm happy to have him as a friend for now, and, like, we'll see where that goes. I mean. Yeah, I don't know. For now, I just enjoy his company, and I think we're on the same page with that.

[01:04:57]

Yeah, no, I respect that. I always hate it as, like, a former lead, people telling me who they think we should date. That being said, like, jonathan took our breath away. He was. He was hot. Like Sierra I.

[01:05:10]

Seven year relationship, but I was like, oh, my God, this guy. Amazing.

[01:05:14]

Yeah. So charismatic.

[01:05:15]

I said, I need to calm down.

[01:05:16]

You know what?

[01:05:17]

Relax.

[01:05:18]

Oh, not your type? That's fine. You know, I mean.

[01:05:21]

Yeah, yeah.

[01:05:24]

I don't know what could happen.

[01:05:25]

I mean, I never said he's not my type. Like, he's a great looking.

[01:05:29]

I mean, if he was out a.

[01:05:31]

Couple times, you know. Listen, plenty of people have gone bad. I'm not even gone.

[01:05:38]

Yeah, I do.

[01:05:40]

Been there, done that.

[01:05:40]

Gosh. No, he's great. We'll see.

[01:05:44]

You've got time.

[01:05:45]

Have the DM's been open? Have you been asked on any dates? Like, have you at least you have been okay. Anything of interest? Anything you're pondering?

[01:05:54]

No, I can't. I truthfully can't. Like, I think of the hottest man alive. Like, if Jason Tatum, my celebrity crush, came up to me and asked me to go on a date, like, I don't. Like, I can say yes yet because it would be messy. But if you wanted to go on a friend date, like, I would, how.

[01:06:07]

Messy would it be? I mean, you're just getting a cup of coffee. Like, you don't have to.

[01:06:12]

I just. I'm at a place where I think I'm gonna have a little bit of trust issues. For a while just to be, like, transparent here. Like, the text being released, me not really knowing who this person was. Like, it's like I need some time to kind of get over that and then, like, trust people again because that's. Yeah, that was a serious invasion of my pride. See, that's. That's hard to get over.

[01:06:33]

So I also think you're on a whirlwind right now with everything going on that I'm like, you should be focusing on yourself and healing and feeling good about that and that have somebody meet you where you're at versus trying to force having feelings for someone.

[01:06:44]

Exactly. Exactly. But that's not to say Jason Tatum can't slide into my house.

[01:06:49]

The DM's are open for Jason.

[01:06:50]

DM's are open for Jason.

[01:06:51]

They're confused.

[01:06:53]

I'm confused. You're confused. I'm confused.

[01:06:56]

How's dancing with the Stars going?

[01:06:58]

Oh, my gosh. It's going so well. It's going really well. I see. I don't want to brag, but I think I pick up things really, really well. Like, I pick up things easily, and I think I'm good at that. But we've got some work to do. We've only had three rehearsals and we're a little bit behind. Versace has been great. And, I mean, everything's been so great. The only thing with dancing is, like, it's so intimate and it's all about that chemistry. And for me, I'm just, like, not an outward, like, sexy person. Like, I don't know. So we were working on.

[01:07:32]

You're struggling.

[01:07:33]

Yeah, I'm struggling. We were working on, like, my. My hips and, like, moving my butt. I just can't do this without tequila shots in a very, very dark room.

[01:07:44]

You're like, I needed. I need a DJ in the corner. I need it to be pitch black with a few, like, strobe lights.

[01:07:49]

Yeah, this is a, like, maybe this is a good is out of your comfort zone moment for us.

[01:07:55]

It totally is. It totally is. And I hope that it works well. And I don't look like a five year old boy. Just like. I don't know.

[01:08:02]

For the first time ever, I believe that we have a bachelor and a bachelorette. You were on Joey's season. Are you aware of Joey's dance move and if they're any good?

[01:08:15]

I don't know. I haven't snuck into one of his practices yet, but I'm gonna have to.

[01:08:19]

Are you in any way nervous? Is there a competition there? Bacherettes have an amazing track record. Bachelor's. Yeah, they're kind of mid. They kind of go halfway, you know, never really go that far. How are you feeling about that? Are good, clean fun? Are we competitive with Joey or.

[01:08:35]

I'm competitive, but good, clean fun competitive, for sure. Like, I mean, there's pressure.

[01:08:40]

You're not going to like Tanya Harding it or anything like that?

[01:08:43]

Oh, no.

[01:08:44]

Am I going to lie?

[01:08:45]

Tonya Harding, the ice skater that hit the other contestant with the hockey. Was it a hockey?

[01:08:51]

I was actually on Dancing with the Stars with Nancy Kerrigan. Absolutely delightful woman. Just a gem of a person. Really enjoyed my.

[01:09:00]

She got in trouble.

[01:09:01]

Oh, no, I won't be doing that. God, no, no, no. I'm so competitive by nature, and, I mean, it's already a lot of pressure being a bachelorette on, like, I know they do well on dancing with stars, but then there's also my ex, Joey, on the show, so I'm like, I have to do better than him. But it's all in good fun, obviously. Like, Joey and I are very great friends now. And Kelsey too. Like, we all went to dinner these the other night. Like, we're good, and they know it's gonna be all good fun.

[01:09:26]

So do you consider yourself a dancer?

[01:09:28]

Do I consider myself a dancer? You said in the clubs I'm, like, a funny dancer. Like, I'm not like a. Oh, my gosh, I'm so sexy. Look at my boobs. I'm like a. Look at me, like, fist pumping in the club.

[01:09:38]

That could be a nice salsa moment.

[01:09:39]

Yeah. Yeah.

[01:09:40]

I can break it. Mix in a fist bump.

[01:09:43]

Yeah.

[01:09:44]

Maybe we can get up the, you know, ample frapp. Row dancing. Yeah.

[01:09:49]

Perfect. Yeah. Oh, my gosh.

[01:09:50]

Are you able to tell us? Oh, well, we're absolutely. Now, he's never been to dancing with the Stars. I've already. I've already texted Dina.

[01:09:58]

You did?

[01:09:59]

October.

[01:10:01]

2. I think we're shooting for October 2.

[01:10:04]

Hell, yeah. If I make it that far, we'll see.

[01:10:06]

You'll be there.

[01:10:06]

You will.

[01:10:07]

Three.

[01:10:08]

Don't make it that far. You're keeping your expectations low.

[01:10:13]

Yes. Expectations low. It's. It's funny because, you know, when I was on Joey season, it's like, okay, you can go home at any time. And then I was on the bachelorette, and I was like, I've got this. It's fine. And then now it's like, I can go home at any time again. And that feeling, it's a scary feeling, but, yeah. Do you have any tips, Nick?

[01:10:30]

I do. And I doubt you need this, but my only tip is, as someone who, like, wanted to do well, because I just, like, I thought it was a really cool experience. I'm competitive. Like, I really wanted to learn. I wish I just cared way more about having fun and being goofy. And certainly, I wish. I mean, I would have always wanted to try my best, but I would have not given a fuck about whether I messed up or not. Like, you're not a professional dancer, and I learned that after. Because after you got. After I got eliminated. And this will happen, you'll go far enough that, you know, if you don't win. And you could definitely. I could see you winning, but for the. If you don't win, if you go far enough, like, they'll bring you back. Kind of do your favorite dance because they only have, like, two or three, like, dancers left, so they have to fill the airtime. So I got to do that. And by then, I didn't care. And it was just, like, I did my absolute best. I actually enjoyed it. I didn't give a fuck. So, like, if I could do it again, I just.

[01:11:28]

I wouldn't care about my score. I wouldn't care about any of that. I wouldn't care about screwing up. I would just, like, have fun.

[01:11:35]

That's funny. That's been the advice of most people that I've asked, actually, is to have fun, which I'm like, oh, I don't know if I can do.

[01:11:41]

But, like, everyone tells you there's so.

[01:11:42]

Much pressure to have fun.

[01:11:43]

No, that's what I'm saying. People say the throwaway, but it's more. It's not. It's less about, you know, people tell you, have fun. How do you have fun? But you can just not give a shit. You can just be like. Like, you can't. Don't stress yourself out. Like, whatever. It's not a big deal if you look like you're having fun. I think. Think who? He's the radio disk jockey. He's, like, now on American Idol. Bobby Bones.

[01:12:05]

I think it's Bobby Bones.

[01:12:06]

Bobby Bones.

[01:12:06]

He was a self proclaimed terrible dancer. Like, he'd literally just walk across the dance floor, but he won. He crushed because, like, he was out there just living his best fucking life.

[01:12:15]

Oh, wow.

[01:12:16]

And that's why he won.

[01:12:17]

Okay.

[01:12:18]

I love that he was out there just, like, standing and throwing an arm out, but he was just like, I'm Bobby, and I couldn't be more grateful. Like, honestly.

[01:12:25]

And he's okay. Okay. I love that that's giving me. So much confidence. Now.

[01:12:31]

One thing I think we know jen can do is have fun so that I can.

[01:12:36]

You jumped off a building. You could dance.

[01:12:41]

Boston. What was that?

[01:12:42]

I said channel Boston.

[01:12:44]

Oh, channel that energy.

[01:12:48]

For some reason, every time I go back to Boston, like, chaotic jet and just comes out like, I'm like, these are my people.

[01:12:54]

Are we done talking about Devin regardless, or unless we're at. Or unless we're in Boston.

[01:13:02]

We'Re done talking about Devon after today. But yeah, Boston was a movie. Was an absolute movie.

[01:13:11]

What else we have for Jen? She's not dating, she's not in love. Completely eliminated off the market.

[01:13:16]

Unless Jason Tatum.

[01:13:18]

Jason Tatum.

[01:13:19]

Jason Tatum.

[01:13:20]

Oh, not Shannon.

[01:13:21]

Is he single?

[01:13:22]

Not Channing. Jason Tatum. I believe he's single, yes.

[01:13:24]

Okay. Is that why you're in Boston?

[01:13:27]

Oh, my.

[01:13:27]

No, no, I wish. I wish.

[01:13:30]

She threw the first pitch.

[01:13:33]

How'd you do? I didn't see the video. Congratulations. That's pretty cool. That's a really cool experience, actually.

[01:13:37]

I hit it right down the line like it was perfectly in Hookah.

[01:13:41]

I definitely would not. I'd hit the dugout. I did that once in little league.

[01:13:44]

Oh, you did? Well, here's the thing. Before I went to do the pitch, I looked up on TikTok worst celebrity pitches, and it made myself feel a lot better. Cause I'm like, I can't do worse than 50 cent. I can't do worse than Carter. Rachel, you can't do worse than the girl. Sorry, I'm calling name of. I know these are all people who.

[01:14:00]

Did really bad people just getting fucking blasted by Jeremy.

[01:14:04]

Sorry, guys. I'm sorry, guys. It's out there. It's out there. But she's like, I didn't make the video.

[01:14:09]

Someone else did.

[01:14:10]

Some girl threw the ball at a photograph.

[01:14:14]

Oh, no.

[01:14:15]

I'm like, there's just no way I could do anywhere. So I felt good about it. It was exciting.

[01:14:20]

Did you practice at all? Were you in your backyard?

[01:14:23]

No, I practiced on the field. It's like five minutes before. I was like, yeah, give me the ball.

[01:14:28]

Let me.

[01:14:28]

Let me see how this. I've never thrown a baseball before. I've never played baseball. But, I mean, I'm athletic, so I was like, it'll be fine, whatever.

[01:14:35]

I feel like we can get Jason Tatum to reach out.

[01:14:38]

I feel like he's listening to this episode.

[01:14:39]

Perfect.

[01:14:40]

I did look it up. And he's dating Ellemi.

[01:14:42]

Oh, I'm so sorry, Ella.

[01:14:46]

And we are absolutely rooting for them. But, you know, if anything?

[01:14:49]

No, no. You know, I'm switching my celebrity cross. Max Strus. If you're out there and you're single, I'm here.

[01:14:56]

I'm ready.

[01:14:56]

Are these Max strus?

[01:14:58]

Are these all athletes?

[01:14:59]

She loves athletes.

[01:15:00]

She knows her people. I'm like, looking up like, who is this?

[01:15:03]

Well, I really like basketball.

[01:15:05]

So do you really think Sam M. And Thomas were right about Devin? Or was it just dumb?

[01:15:10]

The billion dollar question? No, they were absolutely right. I'll give that to them. But, like. But they're, they were also, you know, not the best in their own way.

[01:15:20]

Too, but maybe they saw something in themselves.

[01:15:23]

They're on, like, their high horse right now, being like, ha ha. We told y'all we were right. Haha. And it's like, well, you also still suck, so sorry.

[01:15:31]

I know. I mean, they're so excited. Whatever. I'm like, great. I mean, Samm sent me a DM actually the other day. So I said, thank you.

[01:15:39]

What did he say?

[01:15:41]

He said, hey, I saw what happened. Nobody deserves that. And he was like, sometimes people, you know, you think you know them and you don't. I mean, it was.

[01:15:50]

Hit you with another movie line.

[01:15:52]

It sounds like a very nice message.

[01:15:53]

It was a very nice message. I will give him that. And you know what? I'm happy that he has grown and learned from this and, like, can put our differences aside and still wish me, and that makes me feel good that somebody can have that part of their heart and still open and. Yeah, so, no, it was good. I appreciated it.

[01:16:11]

Have you heard from any of the other guys on your season posts?

[01:16:15]

My favorite part is how much they've been supporting me. Truthfully, Jonathan, with his big Instagram post, truthfully brought tears to my eyes. They just, you know, you go through such an incredible journey and you want to know that it meant something, that you impacted people. And for me, it was always about those conversations with each of these men is like, how are we connecting as people and how can we have an impact on each other even if we don't end up together? So to just know that he supports me, to know that Spencer supports me, Sam, and support, like, all these people just coming out and dming me really does mean a lot because they've been an important part of my journey and I respect them so much and want to celebrate them too. So it was nice. I love to hear that supported me. Yeah. Yeah. And that's why I'm like, guys, like, everybody's like, oh, the casting, I'm like, no. Like, they were actually, really sweet. Yeah.

[01:17:07]

Good. Well, listen, you wouldn't be the first lead to just not have your person be casted on your season, you know?

[01:17:14]

Yeah, no, exactly. Exactly. What are the. What are the chances anyways? So, yeah, it's tough.

[01:17:20]

That's why they keep bringing back Jason Mesnick, because most of us like it. You know, they don't exactly. They aren't casting for love. Maybe. I don't know.

[01:17:27]

Maybe they are.

[01:17:28]

Or maybe.

[01:17:28]

Maybe they're not good at it.

[01:17:30]

I don't know.

[01:17:30]

I don't know.

[01:17:31]

I don't know.

[01:17:32]

Or maybe just love in general is hard to find. Maybe that's it. That's why we are so lucky.

[01:17:39]

How are you?

[01:17:40]

What about, what about the. The ladies from your season? How have they been supporting you? Have you heard from any of the women?

[01:17:48]

Yeah. I mean, everybody in bachelor nation has been supportive, but also. Yeah, the women on everybody. Yeah, pretty much everybody has been messaging me either on Instagram or texting me, calling me. So, yeah, absolutely. Everyone's been really, really supportive and I couldn't be more grateful. And I'm happy I'm in LA now because now I get to hang out with some of them.

[01:18:05]

Is there anybody that you're super close to?

[01:18:07]

Kelsey and I have been getting drinks recently. I'm excited to hang out with Daisy more. We've had, like, a few phone calls, just, like, catching up, which makes me really excited. Who else? Star. You know, she lives in Florida. We've always been the best of friends. Taylor. Just a lot of. A lot of them. A lot of them have been so sweet. Yeah.

[01:18:27]

Feel to answer however you want to. I'm going to ask the question. Maria obviously posted about everything and I was like. And she commented on the fact that you guys. That she supports you, but you're not friends. Did something happen there? Or was this throughout your season or was this post your season? What caused the falling out? I guess.

[01:18:46]

Yeah, for sure. I mean, I do want to say that when I mentioned her name on stage, I never meant to insinuate that there was anything going on between her and Devon. Like when I mentioned that it was purely about Devin and nothing else. And, yeah, I mean, I still support her from afar, regardless of whatever events have transpired since then. And that's between me and her. But at the end of the day, you know, people just grow apart and that's that. But I still support her and she still supports me and. And I'm happy to know that we can do that. And if we see each other an event. Like, I'm gonna hug her. We're gonna be great. We're gonna pick up right where we, we left off. Yeah.

[01:19:19]

Now you carry yourself so well, truly, like, as a bachelorette and everything. I'm just like. I feel like post show, you're just, like, handling everything with such grace.

[01:19:26]

Thanks. Of course, I never realized how resilient I can be until all these punches are being thrown out.

[01:19:31]

There you go.

[01:19:32]

And I'm like, okay, it's fine. We're gonna get through this. We're gonna cry it out, and then we're gonna dance it out.

[01:19:37]

Any Taylor Swift songs?

[01:19:38]

I hope it's in the works. It's in the works. I absolutely have to. If I. If I get sent home before I get to dance with Taylor Swift, I will be severely upset. That will be worse than my breakup, for sure.

[01:19:48]

Oh, no.

[01:19:50]

When does episode one, when's night one drop?

[01:19:52]

Next week, September 17. Tune in.

[01:19:55]

And we're voting via text. Social media.

[01:19:58]

What's on text? You can call five. I think you can call five times. You can text five times. You can email five times. So there's. I think those are the ways that you can vote, is what I'm hearing. My mom's also been asking, so I'm like, I don't know.

[01:20:10]

Hell, yeah. We gotta let people know.

[01:20:11]

Yeah, yeah. I'm super stoked. The song that I'm dancing to, I can't singhenne, but I have to say, very iconic for the moment that I'm in. And I will be surprised if I don't cry tears at the end of this dance because it's going to be so meaningful.

[01:20:25]

Can you give us a hint? Like a one word hint?

[01:20:28]

Can I give you a hint?

[01:20:30]

Is it more empowering than revenge? Yes.

[01:20:33]

It's so empowering. Yeah. Definitely. Way more empowering. No, it's not revengey. Please.

[01:20:38]

Because I don't want the energy.

[01:20:39]

Revenge is the abs I'm gonna get from all the planks that I've.

[01:20:42]

Well, like Tyriana came out of her revenge dress night one. It was more. Maybe revenge is the wrong word.

[01:20:48]

Didn't she wear the dress that she wore?

[01:20:50]

It was like a version of it.

[01:20:52]

A version of what she wore on finale.

[01:20:54]

Should I wear my engagement dress?

[01:20:55]

A reunion.

[01:20:58]

Imagine how epic. No, that won't be happening.

[01:21:02]

All right, jen, well, thank you for coming back. We really appreciate you shedding some light. Everything, all the crazy going on in your life, we wish you the absolute best luck this season on dancing with the stars. And everyone vote for Judd.

[01:21:16]

Thanks for having me, guys.

[01:21:18]

Max, truce is single, by the way. Publicly.

[01:21:22]

I love that.

[01:21:23]

Thank you guys for listening. Don't forget to check out yesterday's episode of going deeper with all the secret lives of Mormon wives. Plus, we have Jonathan. He was on reality recap on Tuesday. Very charming guy. And who knows? We just never know what might happen with these two kids. Their trauma phase, you know, maybe we should see the force of the trauma.

[01:21:44]

I did ask him if he would say yes. If you were like, hey, Jonathan would love to take you to John and Vinnie's on Wednesday. And he was like, I would say yes.

[01:21:53]

Yeah, so maybe just go get good food with a Fred.

[01:21:55]

We. We might. We've already been to sushi together. He was a gentleman. He opened my car door for me. He paid for suit. He was great. He's been great.

[01:22:03]

Call some Pavarotti.

[01:22:04]

No. If that door ever opens, I would want to make sure that I'm at a right place and he's at a right place. But for now, really good friends.

[01:22:11]

And we don't need you guys fighting if someone called a paparazzi, not like some housewives. Do you watch housewives, Jen?

[01:22:16]

I don't.

[01:22:17]

What's your reality tv obsession? What's your guilty pleasure?

[01:22:19]

I don't have one. I don't watch no guilty pleasure. I used to watch Love Island a lot. And then I got older.

[01:22:26]

Minus even tv, just life in general. Like, what is.

[01:22:30]

Oh, God.

[01:22:31]

It could be scripted.

[01:22:33]

I mean, I love Grey's anatomy. It's just like right up my alley with, like, the medical stuff. But I am. I'm starting to get into reality tv because I met Crystal Minkoff and she's been amazing. And I need to watch Crystal.

[01:22:44]

I need to watch Crystal.

[01:22:46]

Yeah, she's great.

[01:22:47]

All right, Jen, we wish you absolutely the best. Everyone vote for Jen. All right, we'll see you back on Monday. Bye bye.

[01:23:08]

Rte, the home of great local drama. A devastating earthquake. A family torn apart.

[01:23:17]

Our units have completed their search.

[01:23:19]

And a mystery to unravel.

[01:23:21]

I saw him here in Dublin.

[01:23:23]

What are you doing, Harry?

[01:23:24]

Telling the truth.

[01:23:26]

Based on the best selling novel by Karen Perry.

[01:23:28]

I never felt that he was gone.

[01:23:30]

And why?

[01:23:30]

Why?

[01:23:32]

The boy that never was. Sunday at 930 on Orte one and Orte Player.

[01:23:39]

So nice to come to the cinema now the kids are back in school. Might actually get to watch the film for a change.

[01:23:45]

We interrupt this moment for just a sec to let you know that Aldi's got back to school sorted with snacktastic offers at healthy prices like mini easy peelers and mini rice cakes from just 49 cent. And for after school meals, fresh irish meats for under three euro each. Like board be equality assured. Pork belly strips and beef meatballs.

[01:24:04]

Oh no, I left my glasses at home.

[01:24:07]

Go all Aldi.
