There's a guy competing in the Olympics for Australia for field hockey, and he had an injured finger, and the recovery time to fix it would take too long, and he wouldn't be able to compete. It was faster for him to amputate the finger and cut it off to be able to compete. So he had his finger cut off. No way. Would you do it?

[00:00:24]

I would definitely do it.

[00:00:25]

If I was at the age where in four years to happen again, I wouldn't be able to compete. It would drive me insane.

[00:00:30]

It's different if it's an arm or a leg, a finger.

[00:00:33]

Okay, so you compete, it you don't win anything.

[00:00:36]

It doesn't matter if you win or lose, just the fact that you got to represent your country and go out there.

[00:00:39]

You know that's going to hit harder, though. If you lose? Yeah, because- Oh, 100%. Who cares? If you don't have a medal, who cares about you?

[00:00:44]

To be able to say, I went to the Olympics and I competed, is itself one of the greatest honor accomplishments.

[00:00:51]

That's going to be always his reminder. That's so.
